• We were expecting Kaleb’s verdict on who will be the winner of this year’s Dance2Fame for only his vote can decide the winner.
• He has been silent for over two minutes and the crowd was eager to hear the winner, while I was weak in the knees. What if I don’t win? If I don’t win, that means I’ll go back to Europe and stay with mama and my dancing dreams are over.
• Everyone will so laugh at me because I boasted that I will win and I will be victorious, not knowing I’ll have to battle my own best friend for a prize.
What have I done??
” I can’t do it!” Kaleb said and dropped the microphone.
” I can’t choose between both girls!” He yelled and the crowd was filled with murmurs and surprised exclamations.
” They’re both awesome and my green card goes for both!” Kaleb picked up the microphone and spoke then raised up two green cards.
” Congratulations, Janelle and Nadia you guys have won this years edition of Dance2Fame!” Kaleb yelled and the crowd went wild, flowers were thrown at us and confetti fell.
• A big check with $500,000 dollars scribbled on it was brou-ght on stage and Janelle and I were asked to hold it. A contract paper for an endorsement deal with Mega Dance was brou-ght and Janelle and I signed it. The trip to Malibu was also for both of us and that’s to be taken at the end of the year!
And guess what? Both of us have to be Kaleb’s as-sistants!
It’ll be so nice working with him.
• After the pres£ntation of the awards I went to the hvg Janelle but she snubbe-d me and ran backstage and I was left there puzzled.

” Kaleb what were you thinking!” Judge Kira yelled and hit her fist on the table in rage!
” There can’t be two winners!” She added and gr-unted.
” This is the first season of this competition and having two winners will destroy our reputation and no one will watch next year.” Kira further ranted.
” This is my show Kira so let me worry about next year.” I snapped and Kira kept quiet.
” Okay, have it your way.” Kira said and picked up her bag then left my office.
If only Kira un-derstood that I just saved my marriage 🤦🏻♂
• You see Janelle is supposed to be the winner of this show because she danced better than Nadia. But Nadia has a good heart and deserves to win this show because she has a genuine reason entering it. While Janelle on the other hand is an agent of darkness and only entered the competition because she was s£nt by Lucifer to destroy my marriage.
• I can’t cheat the winner, neither can I have the winner destroy my marriage because Ashley will be so devastated, she’s going throu-gh a lot. Janelle is fire and Nadia is water. With the two of them working together, when Janelle’s fire begins to spark, Nadia’s water will be there to cool the atmosphere
So my decision stands!

• I danced in this show, paid a dancer to forfeit her dreams, paid two guys to dress up like cops and stage an arrest, bribe-d two judges to always give me a green card, stole Kaleb’s n£¢kchain, hatched devious plans, betrayed my best friend. Only to be told that there are winners!?
• I’m happy that both of us won because I will fell a tiny winy emotional guilt as-suming Nadia didn’t win this because she deserves to win it. But now that two of us are gonna be his personal as-sistant? How am I gonna s£dûç£him without Nadia interfering or finding out?

” Janelle?” I heard Nadia’s soft voice call out to me and I was furious. I don’t nee-d to let her know I’m angry, running away when she wanted to hvg me is probably giving her a hint.
” Nadia!” I replied and went to hvg her so she won’t start having suspicious thoughts.
” Woah, I thought you were mad at me?” Nadia said and embr@ced me.
” No I’m not, I was just confused about the whole thing.” I lied and she stro-ke my hair.
” You don’t nee-d too. There are only upsides to this win and zero downsides. We’ll be together and nothing will separate our friendsh!pnow. I’m so relieved.” Nadia said and held unto me ti-ghter.

” What? Two winners!?” Mia yelled immediately Kaleb announced there were two winners.
” Seriously dad that’s just messed up. Why didn’t you use your br@in!” She added rudely.

” And who are you to tell me how I talk to my own father?” She fired at me and Amelia laughed.
” Haha! Good one Mia!” She said and gave Mia a high-five.
” Common guys! Don’t disrespect her.” Mr. Brown said and Sydney nodded.
” I agree with dad, she was just correcting Mia.” Sydney added.
” I don’t nee-d her correction, she should keep it to herself.” Mia said sternly and left the room.
” Whatever.” I said and went upstairs to my room to relax.

• It was a bright Monday morning and Nadia and I were on our way for a business meeting while Janelle is helping me sort out some files at the main office.
• We were driving throu-gh Parker Street and suddenly I felt my four tires get punctured and the rims of the tyre rolled out. The steering wheel bec@m£ stiff and I couldn’t stare anymore! The car continued drifting away from the road.
” Kaleb do something!” Nadia yelled but quite frankly, there’s nothing I can do.
” Oh Gosh, we’re gonna die, we’re gonna die, WE’RE GONNA FREAKING DIE!” Nadia kept yelling and that was not helping situations.
• The car drifted off the road and started heading to a de-ep river. The seat belts refused to because the car is on emergency mode.
” AAAAAAHHHHH!”

” You see your hair is growing longer.” I complimented Mia’s hair as I pla-yfully stro-ke it. She turned back and smiled happily.
” You mean it?”
” Yeah.” I replied and she jumped up on her feet and squeed happily.
Just then my phone rang vibr@ted and started ringing. It was a call from an unknown number.
📱 Hello, Mrs. Linda Brixlar on the phone. How may I help you?
📱 Madam, your son and his friend have just been admitted into the Intensive Care Unit at St. Sinai’s Hospital. They were involved in a fatal accident.

• Grandma suddenly yelled and froze at the sp©t and her phone fell down from her hand and crashed to the floor.

” What happened to her?” Aunt Syd asked me and I arched my shoulders in a way that depicted that I didn’t know what happened.
” We heard screaming!” Amelia yelled dramatically as she entered the room.

” Mia, go get some water from the kitchen. Pronto!” Amelia said and as quic-k as my tiny feet could go, I ran to the kitchen and got the water.

” She’s waking up!” Aunt Sydney said as mum slowly fluttered her eyes open.

” Kaleb…hospital…intensive..care..unit” Mum stuttered weakly and we all yelled in shock.
” Kaleb! HOSPITAL”
” Which Hospital mum?” Sydney asked and Mum breathed helplessly and struggled to speak.
” St. Sinai’s Hospital.” She finally said after moments of struggling with her breath.
” Mia stay here with mum, Sydney and I will go to the hospital and access the situation.” Aunt Amelia said and I nodded to every bit of the instruction.
” If Dad and Ashley come back, upd@t£ them on what has happened.” Sydney said just before gr-abbing the keys and heading off.

” Doctor what do you mean by he’s not in good terms!” I yelled angrily as I paced round the doctor’s office.
” Well, the girl that was in his car has recovered and is awake now. She’s responding to treatment. Although, she has a fractured bones and in juries but at least she is okay.”
” But Kaleb on the other hand isn’t responding to treatment. And he’s in grieve danger because the impact was directly on him.” The doctor explained and Sydney began to cry.
” Doctor are we gonna loose him?” Sydney asked amidst her tears.
” Well I don’t know. He’ll be un-der close monitoring and by tomorrow I’ll be able to answer that question.” The doctor said and I sighed.
” Okay doctor, we’ll see you tomorrow then.” I said and helped crying Sydney up and then we went out of the hospital and back home.

” Hold up! You mean my husband was involved in a fatal accident and no one decided to tell me!” I yelled furiously when I got to know about Kaleb’s predic@m£nt.
” Of what use will it be whether we tell you or not?” Amelia said and I looked at her angrily.
” What are you gonna bite me?” She added when she caught me looking at her.
” The point is….we shouldn’t be fighting. We should just pray that Nadia and Kaleb will be okay.” Sydney said and I calmed down.
” The doctor said he will be sure of Kaleb’s fate by tomorrow and will be able to tell us.” Sydney added.
” So that means we will all be at the hospital tomorrow.”
” Yeah.”

” This is awesome!” I yelled after receiving the news of Kaleb’s accident.
• Don’t get me wrong, I’m not completely happy about his accident. I don’t want him to ever get hurt, dent or blemished in any way or in any p@rt of his b©dy especially his cute face. But I am also happy about his accident because it is an advantage to my plan. With Kaleb out of the way for a while, I’ll be able to get rid of Ashley. By the time he’s recovered, he’ll discover his wife is gone and he’ll be heartbroken and nee-d comfort. Then Janelle will be there to give him all the damn comfort he nee-ds.
• And secondly, Nadia will be out of my business for a while. My plan is gonna be full proof!

” Janelle you have a call!!” Kaleb’s secretary yelled and I sm-irked evilly.

• The next morning, all six of us dressed up and went to the hospital to hear how Kaleb and Nadia are faring.
” Doctor. So tell us what happened?” Mr. Brown said and the doctor cleared his throat.
” Well there’s good news and bad news.” The doctor said and sighed.
” The good news is that Nadia is responding to treatment quic-kly and will be discharged later this week.” The doctor announced.
” What about Kaleb?” I asked.
” That brings me to the bad news.”
” Kaleb is in COMA!”
