my ordeal episode 94

MY ORDEAL✊✊
Episode 94.

Weeks later….

Its our 21st birthday and the day to officially open our company…. Yes our company according to Chinwe.
Everyone was invited, especially my customers who didn’t want to miss the p@rty for anything in the world.

Our baby Treasure did the beautiful and mouth watering cake, and the occasion was such a boom! Everywhere packed full with people who c@m£ out in numbers to celebr@te us.

Chinwe family c@m£ to celebr@te with her, I didn’t feel it all that I had no one but got satisfied with my brothers who left the boarding school I enrolled them in, My manager, Uche with his friends, they were more than family.

It was like people didn’t want to leave the place, it was so beautiful and comfortable that they felt they should live there permanently.
But they kept asking over and over again,
“Na small girls like Una get this kind place? we-tin una dey do! They will say but we will just laugh and wave it aside.

Linda couldn’t come down but apologized over and over again anytime she calls to know how the p@rty is going, we were not happy she is abs£nt but we un-derstood with her when she gave us the good news that she’s in the hospital when she felt sick, she went in for test and saw that she’s carrying a baby.

Looks like the little period she was with her husband he pla-yfully scored a goal.
Her explanation was un-derstandable because she was still in the hospital, but she wasn’t happy herself she missed it.
Uche had to take up the job to s£nd her pictures and videos of what is happening here to make her feel among at least.

At 11pm I was alre-ady scratching myself to end the p@rty alre-ady and go, it was like the dancing, drinking and eating wont finish and I was getting worried alre-ady especially for Chinwe who got drun!ka bit.
I saw Treasure busy with her work and used that opportunity to sell her personally made ice cream and parfait with beautiful cu-pcakes as the p@rty was going on.

I smiled shaking my head and went near to her,
“Hmmmm business woman, I whispered in her ears and she laughed.
“No dulling abeg, shebi they no wan go na, we die here today, she said and I laughed as Uche c@m£ and drew me away from her,

“Leave my girlfriend alone, he said and she pla-yfully threw on him the hand towel she held.
We strolled out enjoying the fresh breeze coming out from the beautiful flowers we planted while Uche was only smiling at me.
“Okay so you won’t tell me what you’re smiling at right? I asked and he st©pped holding my hands.

“My girlfriend Is so beautiful, he said and I was blu-shing.
“Is that it? I thought there’s more, I said.

“Like will you marry me? he asked and i scoffed.
“You’re joking, I said.

“I hope you won’t say that when I’m re-ady, he said bringing out a chain for me.
“Its not much sorry but I’ll make it up to you I promise, happy birthday my love,he said and i was happy.

“Are you serious? This is so beautiful thank you, I said turning for him to put it on me and he k!$$£d me on my n£¢k while I hvgged him.
“Thank you, I said to him.

“Don’t mention, he said and we happily returned back to the hall but Chinwe jumped on us showing us an engagement ring,
“I said yes! She shouted.

“Oh my God! I shouted and hvgged her as she laughed crazily then she saw the chain.
“Awwwnnn this is so beautiful, God blessed us with ro-mantic b©yfri£nds, Chinwe said.

“You can say that again, I said and Chinwe b©yfri£ndwas seen coming.
“You’re the man, congratulations! Uche said and gave him a friendly hvg after shaking hands with him and I hvgged him too while Treasure almost pushed Chinwe down.

“So when Is the wedding d@t£? I asked.
“Abeg o Aso ebi on me, Treasure added and they bur-st out laughing as my friends c@m£ out with a bottle of champagne and baptized Chinwe and her b©yfri£nd…………

We got home finally, still we didn’t sleep, it was like we extended the p@rty to the house as we were only talking and drinking till we sle-pt one by one without knowing, thank God we properly locked our doors.

The next day we got so tired with the stress of yesterday, but it was worth it.
I had to take my brothers back to school and thanked the management for their un-derstanding to re-lease them to me on the important day of my life.

I couldn’t close the restaurant now that my permanent site is opened, my customers complained of the distance and that here is more fast considering the location because they can easily walk in to eat while doing their business but that won’t st©p them from walking into the other side from time to time since to them that side na big man place.

And truly it was, and it was as if we knew, we got enough parking space for the cars to park in and we got lot and lots of them as the place was so exquisite and standard for people like them.
My customers had a point, but I wanted my girls to be in this other side, since they are properly trained they won’t mess up.

We had to employ more people, security, cleaners and a lot of them, indeed we nee-ded them considering how big the place was and our return back to school.
Treasure was still schooling despite she’s a clas-sy girl now and she nee-ded time to attend to lectures same with us who will soon be too busy to run the affairs alone.

We got 2 of our trusted girls from the restaurant including Blessed who offered to do a p@rt time job while she is schooling.
I couldn’t refuse Blessed and I was so happy she c@m£ back, we put the girls in charge of other girls and replaced 2 new girls in the restaurant while the old ones will look after their activities.

We got ourselves registered for Waec while Treasure was rounding up to finish at the same time, how time flies.

“So we will get admitted in the university together o? I asked one evening we were discussing.
“Yes o, what will you be studying? Treasure asked.

“Pharmacy, I replied and Chinwe looked at me. “Madam you don count the years we no see blackboard for eyes? Pharmacy kwa ? Chinwe asked me.

“Madam i said pharmacy o, or is it your pharmacy biko? I asked.
“Well mine still remains the same, soon to be lawyer, check that, Treasure said getting up with poses while I smiled looking at her.

“Shuuuuoo me na Dentistry o, Chinwe dropped and we shouted fanning her as she laughed.
“No im serious o, in case una too talk na 2 teeth i go comot from una every week, Chinwe said.

“Thank you ma we have heard, but can’t we register jamb at once also? Treasure asked.
“Jamb? Biko Treasure we are old school and onga with Maggi don full our head, let’s finish with waec first but you can register for the jamb o your br@in is still fresh, Chinwe said.

“Don’t be scared nah, even if you don’t make the cutoff point but you’ll have the experience so that next time you’ll perform better, she said and we saw s-en-se in what she said.
“But I no dey like failure at all o, Chinwe said with a frown.

“so you mean now its Jamb, Waec and Neco? Hey God i reject agents of distractions looking at me right now! I exclaimed and took my textbook covering it on my face while Chinwe laughed ha-rd at me with her legs up…………..

We got ourselves enrolled for extra clas-ses and Chinwe b©yfri£ndhelped us so much in mathematics as an engineer, that was our enemy in school. Especially Chinwe who do write back the questions to our teacher whenever we had test or exams back there in the village.
“What exactly and why should we find X? Where he been go before biko? Chinwe will always quarrel in exams hall and I’ll be laughing my stomach out while i’ll be solving my family problems in the answer sheet.

But we got to know it so well now that we had nothing to fear, despite we were not steady in our business, but our girls were doing so fine and we thanked God for s£nding them our way.
God helping us we pas-sed when all the results c@m£ out, and we began a new stress of securing an admission into our de-sired field of study.

Even if it looked difficult, we had faith It will end up in praise as a strong feeling of we being educated c@m£ upon us and it motivated us the more………….
