“What’s wrong Chinwe? How can you be crying in the middle of the night? I asked and she sniffed.
“I saw a man in my dream, I do see that picture with my mom but she told me he’s just a relative of hers. Then I saw my Mom for the first time since she died, she said and I shook.
“Are you serious? And who is the man and what did he say? I asked.
“Yes I saw her, you know when you do say you do see your parents, I always get jealous and wonder what’s keeping my mom from showing herself to me. Sometimes I think she’s scared I may still be mad at her, but I really wanted to see her, but they c@m£ today.
She was apologizing she hid the truth from me saying it was for my own good and she didn’t want me to be taken away from her. She had to hid my identity so she can continue to be with me, and that man was my dad and he told me a lot of things and names of people I should meet. He said when once I meet with them and disclose my identity, they will know what to do.
Dorathy it hurts I was a daughter to a big man yet I was living so miserable despite he left something with his relations for me when his wife rose up to be so evil, yet I almost died in the course of giving myself to a rich man to have a Better life, Chinwe said and I heaved and hvgged her as she cried on me.

When they got to know about Chinwe, they were so happy.
“What took you so long my dear? We have waited for many years after the death of your father, he died believing his daughter will come home and we thought he was just dreaming, an elderly man said and Chinwe narrated her ordeal to her.
“You know the important p@rt of this story is that witch is dead, she haunted all of us because she suspected her husband left something important with us.
But don’t worry my daughter, now you have nothing to fear, the man said.
We got to know her father left a hvge amount of money for Chinwe education and Chinwe laughed about it,
“What will i use education for again? I’m happily running my business sir, she said.
“No my dear, its really important you have it and it won’t st©p your business either.
We love your father and we kept this money not because we couldn’t use it but we had to keep to our words when we told him his daughter will be educated.
He knew your mother didn’t have the money to train you that’s why he did this, plea-se your father wants you to be trained no matter how rich you are now, and you’re still very young to continue with your education my daughter, the man said and we heaved.
“We have heard you sir, and don’t worry she will go back to school, I said when Chinwe was not saying anything.

“I never thought I had a family, thank you, Chinwe said crying on the man as he hvgged her and I couldn’t st©p my tears either, indeed this life is unpredictable.

We got to the restaurant after leaving their place so happy when one of my girl c@m£ into my office saying someone is asking to see me.

“Nah, probably another contract coming, I replied and she rolled her eyes.

“Do you have it enough? My manager asked immediately he walked in and I screamed unconsciously and hvgged him.

“And she must be the missing girl right? You found her? he asked referring to Chinwe.
“Yes sir i did, Chinwe meet my manager, the one who opened all this from me, I said and Chinwe greeted him..
“And thanks sir for coming for me when i almost died, she said.
“Nah its nothing, i was just st©pping Dora from doing a stupid thing. But then you abandoned me why? He asked me.
“No sir not at all, how can i do that? I asked.
“Are you asking me that? I never saw you again after i offered you the money for the extension and your number isn’t going anymore so I decided to check myself if you’ve eloped, he said.
“I’m so sorry sir its a long story, something happened but trust me i never abandoned you. In fact I had you in mind, I wanted you to be there when my extension will be opened, I said.
“And when will that be? He asked.

“What about him? He asked.
“Dead, I replied and he giggled.
“Wow but that’s good news and why are you sad? He asked.
“Its because ermmm….. Its because i actually… We……. “She mean to say she lied to you, Chinwe jumped in.
“Lied to me? About what? He asked.
“Ermm…. Yes because when you were looking for him she knew where he was but she was protecting him. She’s so sorry about that, Chinwe said and i closed my eyes knowing she knows exactly what i wanted spitting out.
“Is that so Dora? He asked and i had no choice than to accept.
“Yes sir, I’m truly sorry i hid it from you i was scared of what you wanted doing to him, I replied.
‘Well its okay, he’s dead anyway and its fine, forget about it and ermmmm…. Don’t forget to invite me when its time, he said.
“Sure sir, we said.
‘And congratulations,I have to run off now, he said and we thanked him and saw him off outside.
We got in and Chinwe angrily looked at me while i sat down weakly,
“You wanted telling him you’re no longer a vir-gin? What the hell is your problem! She shouted.
“Why are you angry? I broke the deal we had, remember it was bought but i blew it all up! I shouted back.
“And so what? You have Uche who loves you and has accepted you with your past, I know you two will soon be married, and this bull$h!t will be over or did he bought your marriage life too? She asked and i heaved cleaning my face. “Chinwe, i was wrong, don’t you think i should tell him the truth? i asked.
“No baby girl no, it doesn’t matter. When its time for you to get married you let him know that the deal is all over and you kept to it, will he f0rç£ your legs open to find out himself? She asked and i just covered my head on the desk.
‘But we its all a lie, he is a good man and this is not just right, i slowly said.

A week later Uche called to know how I’m preparing for my birthday,
‘Birthday? When is that? I asked forgetting about such a thing and Chinwe who was with me remembered its next month and we almost share the same d@t£s thought different years.
“Girl we finally Have a d@t£ to officially open our extension. Mine is 20th while yours is 24th, lets use your d@t£, she said.
“Why not yours? I asked.
“Let’s say mine will be too early but before 24th everything should be properly set, she replied.
“24th will be fine then, we will be hitting there, Uche said and i smiled.
“Thank you, I said.
“You’re welcome baby, bye, he said and dropped the call and Chinwe happily fell on me.
“Dora this will be our first and best birthday celebr@tion and it will be celebr@ted in a grand style, we will celebr@te together with our friends and family, she said dancing and I smiled shaking my head.
“That’s right, I even forgot i had a birthday because of stress, i said.
“That kind thing sef, Let’s go joor, Chinwe said.
“To where na? I asked.
“Shopping nau, you sef, she replied dragging me up and Treasure walked in.
“I heard that p@rt, but without me ba? She asked and we bur-st out laughing.
“Madam all of us ooooo, Chinwe replied as we happily left together…………..
