When I opened the gate,

In the morning we got prepared after breakfast and travelled to the village.

We went to the village.
On getting there, my mother was outside, peeling some cas-sava.
I first c@m£ down from the car before Jummy c@m£ down too.
Immediately
My mum saw me, she ran to me with happiness.
She entered inside the house and c@m£ out with two chairs,
We sat down.
Jummy stood up and greeted her.
MUM: Chigboogu Nwa, why did you forgot us?
Not even a phone call.
We’ve called you for so many days but it wasn’t going throu-gh.
ME: mama, I didn’t ,,
just that I’ve been trying to make both ends meet.
Some criminals stole my phone.
MUM: stole your phone!!!
who has this car and who is this beautiful girl you’re with?
ME: mama you can never kill me with this your multi-ple questions.
Which one should I answer first, is it the person who owns this car or the lady I c@m£ with? **i laughed**
MUM: start with anyone.

**She started dancing and jubilating.
She was filled with Joy to the extent that she couldn’t ask me,

I went to the boot and brou-ght out some of the thing,
Jummy and I brou-ght home.
In the night,
Jummy helped my mum in the kitchen to prepare our dinner.
We ate together with my mum……
Thereafter,
I told her what brou-ght me to the village.
She agreed to help me so that we can see the kinsmen.
In the morning,,,,
We went to our kinsmen’s house to house to call them for a meeting.
An hour later,
They all gathered in our normal meeting avenue.
I told them my intention and they all agreed to go and see the parent of Jummy.
They told me to come back in a week time so that we can go and see our inlaw.
When I want to travel back to the city, Jummy said she want to stay with my mum for a week.
That I should come and carry her in a week time that she want to have a good time with my mum.
I travelled back to the City.
The next day,
I went to work.
My boss called me to her office and I rushed in.
She told me that Jummy has alre-ady explained what happened to her.
I trembled as I heard that because I didn’t inform her that Jummy will travel with me.
She told me that,
I shouldn’t worry about anything that she love me as a son inlaw.
“Emm! Igwe you’ve to come over today.” she said.
I told her that,
There is no problem, that I’ll come as planned.
After that day’s work,
I went home,
On getting home,
The time check is 5:30pm,i saw Yvonne in my house.
I was amazed because I didn’t remember inviting her to my house.
