On getting to her office,she was ma-king call so I stood up and was waiting for her.
After she finished ma-king call, she said that I should sit down and I sat.
ME: good morning ma’am?
LADY PAT: How’re you doing my dear?
ME: I’m doing OK.
LADY PAT: How was your night?
ME: it was cool and yours?
LADY PAT: I was sleepless last night bcos cool was too much,
I just wish you were there.** i laughed. ** what about Val, is he in the office?
ME: yes ma’am.
LADY PAT: you’re welcome to our company once again my dear.
You’ve to put all your effort to make sure this company grow to be the biggest in Nigeria not only in Nigeria but
in Africa.
ME: I’ll try my possible best to see to that.
LADY PAT: You can go. back to your office but make sure you take directives that’ll be giving to you by Val.
if you have any problem with any of the staff,
contact me first before any other person else.
ME: I’ll. ma’am.
LADY PAT: you can. now go.
** “thank you ma’am ” I said.
as am about to go, she called me back** give me a k!ssbefore you go.
** I k!$$£d her and left her office.
When I got to our office,
Val was looking at me.
He asked me,
why did our madam called me?
I told him that she only called me to advice me and also gave me the hints of this company.
” and nothing again? ” he. asked.
“yes. ” I replied. **
VAL: Are you sure?
ME: ha! Val there is nothing more again.
VAL: eeeeh! what about thisl-ipstick on your mouth?

VAL: Then where did you get it from if it’s not from her mouth?

work continues, till one Friday evening,
Val and I attended one of our co-workers birthday p@rty in his house.
We went there with Yvonne, on getting there,
the p@rty was alre-ady on.
We rounded one table and we were served food and wine.
We started eating and drinking.
Thereafter,
Val and Yvonne started dancing while I was seated down.
There was a lady seated lonely while others were dancing so
I decided to approach her to know if she can dance with me since
she was not dancing with anyb©dy.
When I moved closer to her,
I found out,
she was Jummy(the lady I helped to change her car tyre)

I was so excited bcos I didn’t expect to see her again,
the card she gave me, I misplaced it.
I approached her but she didn’t recognize me bcos of the way she threw her face aside when I got close to her table.
ME: hello, jummy..
JUMMY: sorry, who are you and how did you know my name?
ME: Does it mean you don’t remember my face again.
JUMMY : I’m sorry I don’t think we’ve met somewhere.
ME: Anyway,
sorry to disturb you.
** I turned to go back to my sit,
she called me back**
JUMMY : Tell me where did you know me from?
ME: I’m igwe,
Did you remember the day you had a flat tyre along Asaba express?
JUMMY : oh! I can remember, you’re the guy that helped me
change the tire right?
ME: yes.
JUMMY : wow! nice meeting you ** she brou-ght out her hand to shake me **
ME: ** I brou-ght out mine too and we had a Hand shook** Nice meeting you too.
JUMMY : Is Mr Paul your friend ** Mr Paul is the birthday celebr@nt**
ME: no ** I decided not to tell her that Mr Paul is my coworker since I told her am jobless**
one of my friend invited me here.
JUMMY : Alright. So where is your girlfriend you c@m£ with? ** smiled **
ME: My girlfriend ke?
JUMMY : yes now, is it a sin? Aren’t you matured to have one to yourself ?
ME: why not……. but I don’t do girlfriend stuff for now,
I just want to think ahead on how my future will be

I’m no more a teen to be doing girlfriend and b©yfri£ndstuff.
what i should be thinking now is fiance.

** My phone started ringing,
when I checked, it was Val and i ignored bcos i know he is only calling to know where i am.
Jummy and i continued with our discussion.
At a point we exchanged our mobile number.
“plea-se,
can we dance?” i asked her.
She started stammering and i continued pleading till she agreed.
We danced throu-gh out the dancing period till its 10pm.
She told me that she want to go and I followed her to where she parked her car.
We discussed a little before she drove off.
I went back to where I was sitting before I saw Jummy.
Val started asking me where did I went to and I told him every thing.

Episode 12
Val and Yvonne looked at each other for some minutes.
ME: plea-se let’s go, I no com un-derstand this una look.
We entered the val’s car and drove off. He dropped me in my house and they turned back.
As I was about to open our gate,
behold it has been locked.
OMG! I shrunk.
what will I do now and the worse p@rt of it,
is that our street has a vigilantes.
I tried calling Val number for him to come and pick me so that I’ll sleep in his house but his number wasn’t going throu-gh.
I looked at the time and it’s 11:34pm.
I would’ve try Yvonne number but I didn’t have her number.
I was stranded and doesn’t know what to do. All the people that lived in our compound are married so is abnormal to call them by that time,
even if I call them,
they wouldn’t come out that time bcos is late.
As I stood there for some minutes,
my phone rang,
when I checked it,
it was Jummy.
ME: hello sweetie
JUMMY: hi,,,,,,,, igwe I hope you’ve went home?
ME: I’m still on my way home.
JUMMY : by this time??
ME: yes,I’m a man now ** I was looking around in fear as am discussing with Jummy **
.
JUMMY: plea-se try and go home fast because of all this bad guys on the street.
ME: There is no problem my dear.
JUMMY : Take care and don’t forget to lemme know when you get home.
ME : I’ll my dear.
** As I dropped the call, I moved to one nearby shop and sat down.
Two hours later,
two guys from nowhere invaded me.
I was about asking them, what the problem is and one of them sl@pped me,
i staggered and held that p@rticular guy that sl@pped me.
I didn’t know what c@m£ over me that night to fight them,
maybe it’s an alcohol I took that gave me the moral.
I gave him the bite of his life before the other guy hits me with a wooden plank.
I opened my eyes in the hospital,
there was a nurse beside me so I started asking her how did I get to that hospital and she told me that vigilantes brou-ght me to the hospital last night.
“where is my phone? ” I asked her.
“sorry, there is nothing we found in your pocket accept your handkerchief and empty wallet” she replied.
I was helpless when she told me that.
I told the nurse that I want to see the doctor. She obliged and took me to the doctor.
After exchanging plea-santries with the doctor, I asked him about my hospital bill,
he told me that my neighbours from our compound have alre-ady paid.
I thanked him and left his office to my be-d.
I took all my belongings and dashed out from the hospital.
when I got to our compound,
I started going from flat to flat to thank them for their care and support.
In the evening of that day, as I la-id on my sofa right in my parlour ,
someone knocked at my door.
I managed to stood up bcos I was so fatigue.
when I opened the door,
behold it was JUMMY.

Episode 13 💥
I was surprised when I opened the door and see her.
My mouth was wi-dely opened as I was looking at her and she also noticed
that I was totally surprised.
JUMMY : igwe I hope am save this one you’re looking at me as if am not welcomed?
or are you with your bae?
ME: No, am not just that I didn’t expect you. you’re welcome my dear
JUMMY : thank you.
ME: what will I owe to this August visit.
JUMMY : hmmm…. me an August visitor?
ME: yes now. How can a noble lady like you come to visit a poor,
wretched person like me,
it is a honour,
i must confess.
So what do you care for?
JUMMY: Nothing just a chilled water,i’ll be ok.
** Thank God that day,
i left some water in the fridge and NEPA gave us
light.
i ran to my small fridge and brou-ght out a sacked water from
the freezer and offered her**
ME: plea-se manage it like this, i dont have a table water.

Who told you that am complaining? I’m ok with it.
What happened to your phone? I’ve been calling but its switched off.
I had a very terrible dream about you yesterday night.
ME: A terrible dream about me?
JUMMY: yes….. I saw you in the dream where you’re been beaten by some policemen,
your b©dy was bre-ading.
When I woke up in the morning, something tells me that you’re not feeling fine so I decided to call your number but it was not going throu-gh so
i decided to trace you by the way you describe-d your street that first day we met.
ME: you tried my dear. I’m really feeling like a prince now.
Am so amazed how you located my house. you’re welcome once again to my poor house.
JUMMY: Thanks. I would’ve come on time but I was entering from one compound to another in search of you,
so that’s why I couldn’t come on time.
ME: so sorry about that.
you must be a good dreamer,
actually,
I was attacked by some guys yesterday night when I was coming back
from the birthday p@rty.
I c@m£ back from the hospital in the afternoon.
So I lost my phone in the process.
JUMMY : After I had that dream, i knew something must be wrong because is
been a while I had dream.
So sorry,
how’re you feeling now?
ME: I’m feeling better by you in my side.
JUMMY : I hope they gave you some drugs?
ME: yes.
JUMMY : Have you eaten?
ME : no,, am so weak to cook.
JUMMY: Don’t worry, i wanted to go but since you’re weak,
lemme stay back and do that for you.
** I couldn’t believe what she said.
