…It all began when I started working and earning good money, courtesy the job Gloria made her uncle helped me secured…I started thinking of different women and slee-ping around,I wanted to have a taste of everything in Sk-irt,all of a sudden, Gloria wasn’t good enough,, finally, I sle-pt with our maid too,months later she said she’ was pregnant,and that I must marry her,,,her mother c@m£ too,saying In their culture it’s a taboo for a first daughter to ab-ort her child, especially when such a child will be the first grandchild of the family, that should Anita terminate the baby,she will die,and I will die as well.i had no option but to marry her…
Doing this,I hurt Gloria so much,I broke her into pieces,I knew that was evil of me,I am sorry,I had no choice,,,
When Gloria left my life,my life bec@m£ a mess, Anita and her family bec@m£ a pain in my n£¢k,they were always asking for more, nothing I did seems to be enough,,,even though I hurt Gloria,she didn’t make her uncle relief me of my job,I have never seen such an angel,,,but I still lost the job though,out of negligence, Anita and her mom were causing me so much pain in my house,that I always sle-pt in the office,and left my work undone,always going late and missing work without prior notice,after so much warnings,the company couldn’t take my nonchalant attitude,hence I was relieved of my duties….
Things bec@m£ different when I lost my job,then the real beast in Anita and her mother surfaced,I bec@m£ a slave in my own house,I did all I could to be a good husband and father,but it was never enough, Anita and her mother seems to want more…
I tried getting another job but I couldn’t,,soon all the money I saved got finished,I was living from hand to mouth, Anita and her mom will cook but would not let me taste the food,,I was practically begging friends and family to survive,,,that wasn’t even the bad p@rt,,
I c@m£ home one evening to meet an empty house,,,,,and a note,Sandra had sold my house worse the baby wasn’t mine,I didn’t believe it,I was losing my mind,I sle-pt on the ba-re floor,, the next day ,the new owner of the house c@m£ ,when I refused to leave,he called the police and I was bundled out of my own house….
I went to meet her parents,to provide my wife,her father told me point black that she’s not my wife yet,I didn’t pay her bride price,,,indeed I didn’t pay her bride price,we only did other things,but the bride price in p@rticular was not paid,her father had said since she was pregnant that bride price can not be paid on her,and that was the same thing he used to win over me,that Anita isn’t my wife,I was bittered,so you allowed me take responsibility of another man’s child I had asked her parents,,,,we were not aware, only a woman can tell who the father of her child is,her father had said……
Here I am, rejected by all,even my own family,I was warned,but I didn’t listen,,,now see my life,from Grace to gras-s,Gloria was indeed the glory of my life….
Hmmmm,your story is so pathetic,I had said,,why are you men like this,,,hellooo,there is another man here,not all men, Stanley had corrected,,indeed,some men,,,now see what you’ve done to yourself,do you know what you turned that lady into,you made become someone else,,,I narrated all that was happening to Mr Ben..,
Although it is ha-rd for me to live without Gloria,she deserves someone better than me,I shall help fix this mess,I caused it,I shall do my best to make it up, and make Gloria happy again…..
Mr Ben followed Stanley and I to Mr Sammy’s house, Sammy was so suprised that I and Stanley went throu-gh all those trouble for him,,, my God I am speechless,,,Ada, you are indeed a God s£nt to my home,, Sammy you deserve to be happy,and I am certain you love Gloria and that she’s the one for you,,,also Sandra loves her too,else she wouldn’t have endured all she went throu-gh in her hand,when she could easily tell who she is at the slightest provocation,but you two were trying and waiting to see if she will change,,,,plea-se give her a second chance….
At the point Ben knelt down and begged Sammy,I know it’s rear for a man to do this,,but I will do this a thousand times for Gloria,she deserves it and more,,I failed her,and I will forever live to regret it,,,but plea-se, Gloria is not what she left of herself,she is an angel in the inside,all those where just out of fustration and fear Mr Ben said,,,,, Sammy,we took our time to follow Glo,she seems to be loved and appreciated by all around her,,that woman deserves a Second chance,,Stanley had added….
Sandra my princess,you know I would never lie to you,neither will I decieve you nor allow anything that will hurt you,,,let’s give aunty Glo another chance,I said to Sandra,,,mummy,you know I liked her,,,I only wised she liked me too,,,,Sandra had said,,my dearest,am positive she does,,, she’s nice,, let’s give her a chance….

It’s amazing how you all arer pleading her case,even in her abs£nce,,this is something else,,Sammy had said,,well,I shall give it an intensive thought,this I promise all of you…okay that’s fair,,we shall hope for a positive outcome,I added,,we all laughed,Mr Ben went home,while I and Stanley sle-pt over,we had become family…
Days on,Sammy called me,, that it was high time we visited Gloria,,I was happy,I called Stanley to inform him,a d@t£ and time was fixed….
We arrived Gloria’s place of work that day,and Sammy and Sandra went in alone first,,While we watched from a close distance,,she was shocked to see father and daughter,,,she went to them not knowing the exact word to say,,,,h0t tears rolled down her cheeks,,Sammy didn’t say a word too, probably not knowing what to say too,,I was becoming scared as to who will break the silence,,,just then my little damsel did…
Aunty Gloria,,,,we miss you,she said to her,,, Gloria hvgged her ti-ghtly and said,,, I am so so sorry sandra,plea-se forgive me,,Miss Gloria pleaded,,,I have forgiven you,just promise you will be a good mother to me,, Sandra said, if daddy permits it will be my plea-sure dear child,,,,they had a wonderful hvg again…
Gloria then went to Sammy,,she knelt down,am so sorry Sammy,,I am so ashamed of myself and the beast I was,plea-se forgive me,plea-se, plea-se,I am sorry,,,Sammy lifted her up,it’s okay,,,we can start afresh, everyone deserves a second chance,,,they hvgged again,and it was a plea-sing sight to behold….there are persons who made this happen, without them this won’t be possible,,just then Stanley and I c@m£ out,,,she hvgged me so much,thanks Ada,for being such a blessing to me,I shall forever be grateful to you,,,she hvgged me and also thanked Stanley….
There is another person that contributed immeasurably too I said,,, Ben c@m£ out, Glo was shocked to see him,,all the joy and happiness on her face had disappeared and replaced with anger,,, what are you doing here,she shouted,,get out of here,,get out,,I quic-kly held her,she was alre-ady in so much tears,,get out,she said amidst tears and pains,,,plea-se , Glo,plea-se,,,I was unable to hold her anymore,Sammy quic-kly c@m£ to give an helping hand,,he hvgged her pas-sionately,,and was speaking softly to her,I believe he was asking her to calm down and let go,,,after some minutes she was a little calmed,,then Ben went down and his kneels, Gloria,plea-se ,forgive me,,I am sorry for all the pains I cost you,plea-se,forgive me,I beg you in the name of God,,,,she looked at him,went to him and held his hands,,if Sammy , Sandra and Ada could forgive me and give me a second chance,then I have no reason to hold any grudges ,,, everyone deserves a second chance indeed,,I have forgiven you,,but what happened,why are you looking like this,,,,she asked him,,,oh that’s for another day,let’s not spoil the moment,,,she hvgged him and everyone was happy….
Sammy didn’t get married to Gloria immediately,he took his time, Stanley was done with service,and the wedding bells were ringing…..
Guess what,it was a double wedding,,, Sammy and Stanley decided to make their wedding same day,and same venue,the two guys had become brothers,while myself and Gloria has become two sisters,,and of course,our darling daughter has two mothers and two fathers, she’s simply the most lucky child alive…

Indeed everyone deserves a second chance, Glo is nothing like what we thought she was,,,some people bring out the BEST in you, while some people bring out the BEAST in you…..
Our lives has been so perfect,,God has blessed me with three children,am done with school and working in a reputable organization,,,Gloria has two kids with Sammy,,Sandra is now in the university,,my uncle who thought educating a girl child is a waste has become very sorry,I am now the one taking care of him,my mother is now a queen,she is living so well,and proud of the woman I have become….
Mr Ben,has a new job,though nothing compared to the one he had before,but he’s grateful, at least it put food on his table,and he’s trying to get his life on track again.
There is a bright light at the end of every tunnel..God is Faithful…..
