“what’s it?” caro asked. David re-moved a ring from his pocket and go down on his knees, “I have been praying to God to make me find you, since, I c@mĀ£ back I am very grateful to God for answering my prayers.
I don’t want to leave a day without you, can you plea-se do me a favor of being my wife forever” David said.
” hmmm” caro said. ” plea-se don’t say no” David pledge with his eyes.
” why will I say no, put the ring on my f!nger fast” caro said and David slid the ring on her f!nger with a smile on hisl-ips.
” thank you for accepting me” David said. ” thank you for coming back to me” caro replied.
” I love you” David said happily. ” let go to your car, we nee-d to celebr@te your birthday” David said. ” yeah, it really calls for celebr@tion” caro replied.

” Alexa, wait” Khalid called after her. ” Dad, what happen to your cloth?” Kim asked as soon as she sees Khalid without cloth.
” baby I will explain to you later” Khalid replied. Alexa ran into her room and brou-ght out her phone from her bag.
she dial her father’s number and waited for him to pick the call.
“hello my daughter” Mr Martin said. “Dad what happened to mum?” Alexa asked.
“Alexa nothing, she was on her way to your house” Mr Martin replied. “Dad is your Tv on?” Alexa asked.
“no my dear, what happen?” Mr Martin asked. “plea-se put on your TV” Alexa replied and Mr Martin on his room TV.
“what!” he shouted. “Dad, plea-se I nee-d the address of the hospital they take her to” Alexa said.
“Alright, let me get pen and book” Mr Martin said and walked to the drawer. he open the drawer and brou-ght out a pen and paper.
he write down the address from the Tv.
“Alexa what happen why did you ran in like that?” jack asked.
“my mum heard an accident” Alexa said and jack hissed. “is that why you wanna kill yourself” jack said.
“jack am very sure you didn’t heard what I just said” Alexa said. “Alexa I heard you clearly, that woman doesn’t even care about you” jack said.
“but she’s still my mother” Alexa said. “I Know she’s your mother, but don’t kill yourself because of her, she doesn’t worth it” Khalid said.
Alexa looked at Khalid from head to toe and frown her face. “Khalid, why are like this, why did you come out without cloth?” Alexa asked.
“Alexa you caused it” Khalid replied and Alexa pushed Khalid out of her room.
Stella bur-st into laughter as she saw Khalid in towel. ” why are you looking and laughing at my man?” Alexa said.
” it a free world, I can do anything I like with my eyes and mouth” Stella replied. ” Am Coming back for you” Alexa said and pushed Khalid out of her ap@rtment.
” go and dress up, you will be the one to drive me to the hospital” Alexa said.

Mr Martin and Benita rushed inside the hospital. ” Good afternoon doctor, plea-se how’s my wife?” Mr Martin asked.
” good afternoon sir, I don’t know the person you’re talking about” the doctor said. “Mrs Martin, the woman they rushed to this hospital few hours ago” Benita replied.
“oh, I can’t say she’s fine, because her condition is critical” the doctor said. “is there something we can do about her condition?” Benita asked.
“the only thing you can do for now, is to pray for her, we are trying our best on her” the doctor said.
Alexa rushed into the hospital followed by Khalid. ” father how’s mother?” Alexa asked and Mr Martin shake his head, without saying anything.
” talk to me father, hope mother is fine?” Alexa asked. ” the doctor said her condition is critical” Benita said.
” oh no, why didn’t she checked her car well before taking it out of the house?’ Alexa said. “the car isn’t even hers, the car is for derrick I don’t know why she took the car out” Benita said and Alexa sat on the chair near her father.
“Father, mum is a very strong woman am sure she will come out Alive and strong, don’t just think about it” Alexa said. “I pray so” Mr Martin replied.

” what happen to them?” the king ask. “nothing your highness, we just keep them in the cell without doing anything to them, what did you want us to do to them?” the chief ask.
“Good question, charge them to court for murder, I want them to die a painful death. death by hanging is what I want for them” the king said.
” alright your highness” the chief said. “we will charge them to court on Monday” the chief said. “Alright thank you” the king replied.

Few hours later
Derrick rushed inside the hospital with his fiance by his side. “good afternoon father” derrick greet Mr Martin but Mr Martin ignore him. he move closer to him and bend down to his level.
“Dad I am very sorry” derrick pledge. “Derrick why are you begging me?” Mr Martin asked.
“for everything Dad, I have not been a good son to you I am very sorry Dad, I am a changed person now” derrick said. “derrick you didn’t offend me, I hope you see where your mother leas herself to” Mr Martin said.
” Am sorry” derrick said. ” you’re forgiven, I can’t stay mad at you for long” Martin said. ” thank you Dad” derrick said and hvg Mr Martin happily.
he move closer to Alexa and clear his throat and Khalid move closer to her front. ” what happen are you here to insult her again?” Khalid asked.
” relax man, I am not here to insult her, I am here to apologize to her, I. not r my real self since the day I met you guys at the mall, Alexa I knew I have never been a good brother to you, but I am very sorry, I have realized my mistakes I am very sorry, I am just blinded by greed and mum also poison mind, am very sorry, I will be very happy if you can forgive me” derrick said and Alexa smile at him.
” I have forgiven you a long time ago, I am just at waiting for the past day you will realize your mistakes, because I knew you are not like that before, anyway I also made the family company loose a hvge sum of money, because of selfishness” Alexa said.
” no you’re not selfish you did the right thing, I am the one that’s not in my right s-en-ses then” derrick said. ” you’re forgiven brother” Alexa said.
” thank you very much” Derrick said he engulfed Alexa in a bone breaking hvg. ” hey that’s enough don’t suffocate my fiance” Khalid said.

” common you’re my baby I can’t apologize to you” derrick said. ” he is too pompous” Benita said pretending to be crying.
” Am sorry my cry cry baby” derrick said and Benita bur-st into laughter. “how’s mum doing?” derrick asked. “she’s not fine at all” Alexa replied.
“let me go and check her in her ward” derrick said. “the nurses wont allow you to go inside her ward” Alexa replied.

“Doctor how’s my mother?” Alexa asked. “there’s a good news ma, she’s awake but am afraid she can’t use her leg for now” the doctor said.
“for now, or she can’t use her leg again?” Alexa asked. ” the chance is 50/50 madam” the doctor said. ” this is bad” Alexa muttered.
” can we go to her ward now?” Alexa asked. ” sure you can” the doctor replied. the martin’s family walked inside Mrs Martin ward including Khalid and they met Mrs Martin crying.
Mr Martin sat beside her and shake his head and Alexa bur-st into tears as she see her mother sitting on the be-d. ” you don’t have to pity me, Alexa I deserve everything that happened to me” Mrs Martin said crying.
” yeah, I know but I still have to pity you because you’re still my mother” Alexa said. ” no I don’t deserve to be call a mother, am not a mother, I haven’t been a good mother to you guys, all I do is to mislead you all” Mrs Martin said.
” mum you deserve to be a mother, if you didn’t do what you did, I won’t know that sam isn’t good for me, because I will still be the one feeding and clothing him like before, you made me see the real Sam you deserve some accolade for it” Alexa said.
” Am very sorry my daughter” Mrs Martin said. ” mum you’re forgiven because still my mother” Alexa said.
” Alexa you really have a good heart, thank God you didn’t take after me” Mrs Martin said.
” mum let’s forget about that I have forgiven you, along time ago, thank God we are a complete family now, that’s what I have been praying for” Alexa said.
