Jace’s POV
I couldn’t hold my smiles as we both walked throu-gh the hallway, I don’t even know why o was smiling, holding her palm seemed to give me joy…
“Wait!!!..” She suddenly squeaked pausing her pace before we could get into the clas-s..
“Any problem?” I asked and she smiled before withdrawing her palm from my grip..
Why??
“Do you know how cute you are?..do you even have an idea how almost all the ladies here would be craving for you?..plea-se I’m afraid of holding your hand this way..they would start thinking I’m your girlfriend when I am just a poor girl s£nt on an errand” she whined with a soft smile ma-king me smile too..
I don’t know but, she really has a sweet smile that makes her look more beautiful,
“Don’t you want to be my girlfriend?” I asked with a teasing smile,
“What???” she quic-kly covered her mouth with her palm staring at me with a popped eyes
“Me..your girlfriend??.. It’s impossible, we both know that..” She chuckled walking away
“You are just like Rose in being funny, I love that personality, I love funny girls” I mumbled walking beside her.
“You said I’m funny, then you love funny girls, what does it means???” She asked
“I don’t know either…” I laughed while she hit my back with her small hand..
Finally we got to the clas-s,
Clara’s POV
“Go in there, that’s where you can find Rose, I was heading to the principal’s office before I saw you, I would be back in a jiffy” he smiled while I nodded slowly feeling sad that he was leaving..
I stood there for some second before picking the courage to go in, at least Rose is in there, nothing to be afraid of..
Immediately I walked in, every where bec@m£ silent with all the student staring at me like an alien..
I felt a cold rush of shiver down my spine..
My eyes wandered all around the clas-s looking for Rose but I couldn’t even find a glimpse of her, she must have gone out of the clas-s..
Oh gosh!!..i think I’m dead!!
The students began those murmuring that pierces the heart..
“Who is this?..”
“Where does she comes from?”
“She looks poor!”
“Scholarsh!pstudent I guess!!”
“$h!t!!!..take a look at her cloth..”
I stood transfixed not knowing where to go or what to even do, the words from the student was really pathetic..
” hey what brou-ght you here?..are you a hawker?” One of the female student asked with a sarcastic tone ma-king the whole clas-s roar in laughter..
I felt h0t..
Why did I even c@m£ in without Jace..
“I am looking for Rose..where is she?” I asked no one In p@rticular..
Just then, a girl walked over to where I stood, she was having two student flanking her, looking at her appearance, I don’t nee-d a soothsayer to know she is from a very rich family..
“You are looking for Rose?” She asked with a sm-irk
“Yes….”
“Everyone..do you see how outd@t£d she is, can you see the aura of poverty around her!!!” She asked with a sm-irk leaving almost all the student jeering and laughing at me with scorn..
What did I do to this girl in p@rticular???
“She is looking for Rose, don’t you think there is something fishy?..Rose is her friend, this tells they are both poor!! very poor!!..but Rose lied to us!!!” She spoke out..
I took a de-ep breath before raising my head up, I had been silent and all calm but I think they don’t want it that way, this is why I hates Roch br@ts..
“I don’t know your name or who you are but there is no doubt you are really stupid!!..your beauty is a waste I swear!!!”
Some student laughed while some frowned their faces..
“Were you talking to me??…” She seethed
” no dear, I’m talking to your shadow, plea-se go back to your seat and rest your small a**s, I got no time to talk to you!!” I snapped rolling my eyes angrily..
“How dare you talk to her that way!!!” One of the stupid student beside her raised hand to sl@p me but I caught her tiny hand up in the air..
“Hey, I’m not a student here, you don’t dare t©uçh me, I would re-move your teeth if you dare..” I shoved her hand down with a glare..
“Wow, you gat some ba-lls right?…let’s see what you can do!!..hey everyone give her some piece of cake, poor trash can’t step in here and go free!!” The girl in the middle yelled in anger..
Some foolish boys sprang up immediately and rushed to me with water bottles..
“I would let you know I am Anna the queen of this school..” She boasted with a sm-irk
I smiled and walked closer to her, it was really unexpected, she never saw it coming,…
I sl@pped her cheek so ha-rd ly that she almost fell on the floor..
“What???” She screamed holding her cheek in pain..
Before the boys could walked closer, I ran off..
Even if I don’t give Rose this letter, I would do that later, I hate it when people embarras-s me..

I bu-mped into someone and almost fell off, who is this??
I looked up and saw it was Rose and Bryan…
“Clara!!!” Rose screamed in glee, we both hvgged while Bryan watched with smile…
“Where are you running to??” She asked while I laughed crazily.
“Thank God I met you, take this letter from your mother, she also wants me to remind you of money, the one you s£nt is exhausted..” I breathed
“You haven’t told me why you are tuning, did you fight again??” She asked with a chuckle as she took the letter..
“I sl@pped one arrogant student in your clas-s..” I replied with a short laughed
“Ugh??..why??..what happened??” Bryan asked ma-king me turn to him..
“I don’t take $h!t from rich spoilt children!!” I snapped
“Clara!!..must you sl@p??” Rose whined
“I don’t care!!..so..I would be leaving!!” I said and win-ked at her, she un-derstands the meaning,
Bryan..
“Where do you think you are going without telling your b©yfri£nd..” We all heard a voice from behind..
Everyone turned only to see Jace walking forward….
“Huh???..Clara when??” Rose asked with a grin..
“I’m also confused..who is his girlfriend??”I asker rolling my eyes..
” it really matched..” Bryan muttered
“The same way you matched with Rose” jace whispered to him immediately..
Jace smiled at me and I really tried ha-rd to frown but couldn’t, the smile just f0rç£d itself out..
” who did you called your girlfriend??..are you having eyes defect?” I asked and he laughed before holding my palm..
“Let’s all go to the clas-s, I can’t wait to introduce you!” He said and I sneered at him..
“After i had sl@pped one of the student there, I can’t go back to that clas-s!” I shrugged
“You sl@pped who???”
“A stupid rich spoilt br@t, you can’t believe she wants to intimid@t£ me as a scholarsh!pstudent which I am not..nons-en-se!!”
“Clara we are tired of standing here, let’s go to the clas-s plea-se..” Rose said and held Bryan’s palm heading to the clas-s..
I sighed and followed them,
“Hold my palm or else those student would beat you when they sights you!” Jace said with a sm-irk
“They are not mad!!..if any of them tries to….” My voice hitched as I sighted one of the boys moving to where I was with a raw egg.
What???
I quic-kly wra-pped my arm around jace..
“I thought you are proving stubborn?” He said while I muffled a laughter.
The boys really moved aside seeing I was holding Jace..
“They would get expelled if they t©uçh you..” He mumbled ma-king me smile as I held his hand more closely..I guess he is my saviour..
We got to the clas-s and all the student sat stil staring at me as I walked in with him..
The girl I sl@pped was even doing nothing except those glares..
Wow…I’m lucky!!!
“Clara how is my mom?” Rose asked as we all settled down
“She is great, just a little issues which I can’t even un-derstand..” I sighed
“What is it?” She asked anxiously
“Have you ever sang before?..how many people knows about your voice?” I asked and she arched her brow like something struck her mind…
“I had notice some kind of retrain from my mom whenever i want to sing..did my mother said I shouldn’t sing?” She asked
“I don’t know, you can re-ad that letter some time later” i shrugged and turned to Bryan
“Have you ever heard her voice?” I asked
“No…i don’t think its necessary..” He shrugged ma-king me sneer at him..
“You think Sophia has a nice voice?..I bet you, she is still a learner, this girl here sing like an Angel…” I stated ma-king him glance at Rose who bend her head..
“Jace!!!!!!” Someone screamed from behind disrupting everything..
I turned and it was the girl I sl@pped..
“She didn’t tell you she sl@pped me right??…”
“I didn’t care to ask..wow..her sl@p really got your cheek a nice red color” I scorned ma-king me giggle..
“Are you mad!!..what is wrong with you and Bryan?..can’t you see throu-gh her?..is her poverty hidden, how can you hold her hand while walking into the clas-s like you both are d@t!ng..how would you be her friend at all??!!when did you become this stupid!!!” She yelled in anger..
“I’m sorry but I think she is better than you!” He shrugged bringing out smile from my face, wow..he stood by me!
“In what way??..oh gosh!!..” She spited
“Being obsessed isn’t good at all!” I mumbled ma-king her gr-unt as she walked back to her desk..
“Jace there is no doubt you are falling for my friend!” Rose ch!pped in..
“What….
” I think so…” He smiled while I rolled my eyes pla-yfully..
Rose’s POV
“Bryan let’s talk somewhere” I said and he nodded and walked out with me..
I took him to the school garden which was almost void of anyone, the surrounding was calm and serene..
“Why are we here?” He asked with a little smile..
I took a de-ep breath before holding his palm with my eyes peering into his eyes…
“I have decided to break away from you” I stated and he cringed in shock..
“What??..don’t tell me you are serious!!” He snapped staring at me..
“Why pretending to be affected??..its not like you cared..it seem like I had been a disturbance, Sophia would be back, wait for her and let me be!” I sulked with tears falling off..
“I don’t get you!!” He muttered trying to hold me but I shifted away immediately.
“You never wanted me right? you are concerned about Sophia who had broke your heart, I’m nothing that why you don’t want to hear my voice or give me a chance in your band, I’m fed up, so…suit your self!!!” I seethed and left with heavy step..
I think its time to stay away from him, I must have been too clingy..
Episode 22
Bryan’s POV
“Rose!!!” I found myself screaming immediately as she walked away, I couldn’t un-derstand why, but I felt a sharp pain sweep over me as I watched her leave even after I called her,
There was no doubt she was so hurt, her words was so de-ep and really went into my heart, I could see pure pas-sion as she said those words, it wasn’t that pla-yful Rose talking, this time it was an innocent girl who seek love, who wanted to be loved…
Oh gosh!!!…she even shed tears..did she loves me this much??
Wow!!
With a de-ep sigh, I plopped down on the empty chair there, my heart won’t st©p beating very fast and loud, the fear of losing her was really filling me up, no matter how i tries to push it away from my mind, it still finds its way in,
I never had a single intention to hurt Rose, she is even one of those girl that I can’t withstand being harmed by anyone, I had got so close to her that every moment with her makes me smile,
I think I nee-d to talk to her…
“Hello Bryan..” Someone called from behind..
$h!t!!.. I wished it was Rose who called me, I just wish she c@m£ back..
Slowly, I raised my head up only to see Anna smiling at me, her smile alone increa-sed my anger.
“What can I do for you?” I snorted with a frown..
“I just wanna talk and spend time with you, plea-se can you spare me some of your time??” She pleaded with a smile.
“And what makes you think I am re-ady to hear whatever you want to say?..what even made you think I’d spend a second with you?..” I seethed standing up immediately..
“It had been long I had this in mind, its time to say it out plea-se listen..Bryan I love you so much!” She sulked walking closer..
“Don’t come anywhere closer or else I’m gonna leave this whole place for you after sl@pping you, I swear!” I snapped
“Are you angry because of what Rose said?..she was afraid that you would find out who she really is..that’s why she decided to break off with you!” She explained
“You had been eavesdropping??..fine..so how does it all troubles you??..seriously, I don’t even know how possible it is for me to stand here talking with you, all thanks to Rose who cleared my saddened heart!” I snorted heading away..
“Bryan why don’t you want to give me a chance, I’m far more better than her, I and you would match I swear, it would be a shame for you to have a poor girl as your girlfriend!” She whined
“Do you think you are better than her?..st©p daydreaming..”I shrugged walked away leaving her fuming…
As I head to the clas-s, I felt really sad, this is the first time I’d be hurting Ross and I swear, my heart isn’t at ease a bit,
Why I’m I feeling all this sadness when Sophia would be coming back, is should be happy that she stayed away from me but here I am feeling tensed..
Gosh!!!
I was getting nearer to the clas-s and my heart was foolishly beating more fas-ter..

“What?????” My eyes popped out as I stood transfixed staring at Rose and jace..
I had just gotten into the clas-s only to find Rose all smiles as she chat with jace.
I thought she was sober when talking to me, I thought she was waiting anxiously for me to come and sooth her???
Well, I don’t care, she isn’t my girlfriend!
I shrugged and rolled my eyes trying to overlook,
I sat down on my desk feeling so h0t, slowly, I glanced at them and felt shiver ran throu-gh me as jace pe-cked her cheek ma-king her blus-h..
What???
I felt totally intimid@t£d, Jace was the only guy who looks just as cute as I am, it disturbs me that Rose was moving along with him
Does it means that she can be without me?..
Agghr…what I’m I even thinking?..I should be thinking of Sophia not Rose and jace..
Gosh..I buried my face into my palm taking a de-ep breath as my heart grew more heavy, it seemed that Rose was damn serious In leaving me..
I should be very glad but I couldn’t be happy, I want her right beside me.
Why?? is what I can’t explain.
I sat there in de-ep thought swallowing endless lumps as I peep at them secretly..
Just then, my phone beeped, it was a message from Sophia..
I hissed and flung it into my backpack, I felt no urge to talk with her, I was more concerned about Rose who hadn’t even glanced at me since I walked into the clas-s..
The more I watched them, the more my heart grow more heavy..
Just then, a teacher c@m£ into the clas-s, I let out a de-ep hiss rolling my eyes, I was just so angry for nothing..
Everything taught by the teacher was not for me because I gave no hearing to her, it was just like she was a disturbance, I silently pray for the lesson to end so I can meet Rose, I don’t think I can stay without her..
After what seemed like eternity, the whole teaching ended and the school bell rang for break period..
Jace held Rose hand softly and smiled..
“I think we should visit the school swimming pool after eating something” I heard Jace voice cooed ma-king her laugh
“We would enter the water together because I myself can’t swim alone” she giggled
“We can swim together!” I ch!pped in ma-king them turn their gazes to me..
Jace smiled while she looked away.
“I may agree but I don’t think she would..” Jace said with a shrug..
“Really???..” I stared at her..
“I don’t want you close to me plea-se, I observed that Anna has a hvge crush on you, why not give her a chance if you can’t wait for your Sophia?” Rose stated with a raised brow..
“You know I’d be lonely if you leave me, I got no other friend other than you!” I muttered
“I’m not your friend, you don’t care about me, you nee-ded Sophia only, I un-derstand she is your first and only love, what I don’t un-derstand is why you can’t let me be, I thought you should be the happiest man on earth, at least Rose is no longer pressing herself all over you!!” She snorted
“It is not what you think, Sophia may be my girlfriend but you are my….
“House help…right??” She completed and shrugged before holding jace hand..
“plea-se let’s leave, I don’t think I can stay here any longer, his pres£nce pisses me off..” She seethed and made to leave but I quic-kly held her other hand feeling my heart going heavy again..
“Do you now hates me??” I asked looking into her eyes which was shimmering..
“Right now, I may not hate you because I had been so de-ep in love with you but I bet you, it would take me some time to hate and forget about you!!!” She snapped and wriggled her hand off my grip.
“Rose!!” I called with heavy breath ma-king her pause her pace..
Every student was watching the scene, Anna was fuming at the side, I guess she would be wishing she was on Rose shoe.
Rose turned to me peering into my eyes with a lopsided smile.
“Very soon Sophia would be back, your r0m@nç£with her would begin, don’t be a cheat, even when she had always been a cheat, you are ever faithful!..well..you never deemed it necessary to hear my voice, you don’t even want me to be in your band, you wanted Sophia so badly..good, I’m joining another band, thanks for always pushing me away.” She swallowed ha-rd and walked away…
“Jace can you help me out?” I mumbled
“I don’t think so…” He shrugged
“Really??”
“Yeah bro..she is gradually hating you, guest what??..” He paused and brou-ght his mouth closer to my ear..
“She had even written a resignation letter from being your house help!” He whispered and I felt my heart skip beat.
My mouth went agape as shudder run throu-gh me.
“Are you kidding me???” I exclaimed
“You should be happy instead, at least, Sophia won’t be jealous when she sees her living with you” he smiled and walked away before I could say any other word..
Omg!!!
This is not happenings!!!
I slumped on my desk in exhaustion, I am really feeling bittered and hurt, the same way I felt when Sophia broke up with me at the beginning..
But why I’m I feeling this way, not like Rose is my girlfriend…
Oh gawd…
My phone rang this time and I brou-ght it out..
I glanced at the screen and saw it was Sophia, anger swam throu-gh my vein in a rush,
What???
I’m I just angry that Sophia called me???
I’m I hating her suddenly because of Rose??.. Aghrr..
I walked out of the clas-s and head to the school garden..
After wasting some minutes, I answered the call with a frown..
“Hello, didn’t you see my message?..” She asked
“Why did you call??..I’m in school you know?” I said trying to smile
“Its break time that why i called…i was surfing throu-gh the internet just now and something caught my attention, I saw you were getting along with a girl named Rose..” She said and I sighed de-eply
“So that’s why you called?” I asked with a de-ep frown..
“What??..I nee-d an explanation!..her b©dy was on you and you weren’t ma-king attempt to push her away, I even heard from your mother that she is your house help” she gr-unted leaving me pissed up..
“Do you think it was so easy to trust you again after you shattered me?..you couldn’t trust me and believed i am seeing another girl which you alre-ady know is my house help??” I asked in anger..
“I’m sorry..I was just being insecure, you know I don’t wanna lose you!” She sulked
“I’m returning soon, we would sing together!!!” She squealed with laughter while I f0rç£d out a smile feeling lonely..
Rose is gone, that alone had shattered my mood..
“You seemed tensed today..” She asked
“Last time you called, I heard a guy voice at the end of the phone call, who is that???” I asked suddenly causing a total silence from her angle..
The question seemed to come unexpected..
“What..what are..you saying?” She stuttered..
“Come back quic-kly, I’m waiting” I said and hung the call..
I don’t know what is happening to me right now, no more appetite talking with Sophia, I just pray I still loves her..
With a slow step, I head to the clas-s but recalling that Rose was in the swimming pool with Jace, I found myself running there immediately..
I got the the pool and regretted ever coming there, first was that Rose didn’t gave me a glance, second was that she was in the water with Jace pla-ying happily..
Omg!!!
I think I’m gonna bur-st!!
