CHAPTER 32✌️✌️✌️
ALEXIA POV
“Mom are you sure you are fine with this?”I asked
“Of course I am, This a trip for your school project,so my dear just focus over there”She said as she walked me over to where the school bus and other students were waiting.
“I will and i won’t let that man know who i am,Neither would I let him close”I said
“You don’t have to do any thing for my sake,Just do what you think it’s right” She said gently and I nodded in return
“Go now or you will miss the bus” She said and waving to her one more time I ran into the school
I made it there to hear the teacher call my name .
“Am here sir,Am here”I responded as I pas-sed throu-gh the midst of the other students who were waiting.
“You can go in”The teacher said moving out of the way for me to enter the bus.
I got in and saw that a lot of students are alre-ady in the bus.
The first person I noticed was Nick who sat alone with his bag by his side
On seeing me he waved at me ” come sit here”He said
Just then Stella walked past me,Hitting me out of the way in the process.
My bag got in the way and i would have fallen if Dave hadn’t held me .
“Look at that,It’s the latest couple In town” One of the students said and they all stared at us,Whistling and saying all sort of nons-en-se
I quic-kly re-leased myself and said “it’s not what you think” And then I moved to an empty seat at the back and Dave c@m£ to sit beside me ma-king the students whistle at us
“Do you really have to seat here?”I asked
“What! It is a free seat and I can sit where ever I want”He said and I sighed gently
This will be one heck of a trip,I thought as I stared at Nick who Stella had her arms wra-pped around.
He doesn’t love me! He loves Stella and is just trying to pacify me because he knows that I like him and because he doesn’t want to hurt me because am his best friend.
“Why do you have that look?”Dave asked
“Nothing”I replied and he took my hand in his.
“Before I told you that I like you,You always thought of me as a friend right? Well then think of me as that,Right here,Right now” He said
I didn’t feel like talking about Nick,So instead I told him of my father.
NICK POV
“Its been long since we have gone out on a d@t£,Once we are back from the trip,Let’s go to one”Stella said as she put her head on my shoulders
“Yes let’s go”I replied without thinking,My mind was preoccu-pied with watching Alexia and Dave who sat at the back talking and judging from their expression,I could tell that they were talking about some thing very important.
“Dave really likes Alexia,I thought that by now he would have st©p pursuing her but it seems like he is determined,Do you think the both of them are d@t!ng?”Stella asked
“Of course not!”I replied almost too loudly and every one stared at us.
I turned to stare at Alexia and I found her watching us too but then she quic-kly looked away.
Avoiding me again right? I thought as Stella regained my attention.
A while later the driver announced that The streets here are bad and so we should all sit ti-ght cause it’s going to be a bu-mpy ride
Stella snuggled close to me and I turned to stare at Alexia only to see her slee-ping and she had rested her head on the window.
Dave had been re-ading and as if he had known that he was being watched, He starred at me and then at Alexia.
He pu-ll-ed her head and placed it on his shoulders.
I got so angry that I wanted to stand up but Mary hand on shoulder pu-lling me back made me sit down again
I starred at her and she mouthed at me not to do it
Finally the bus got to the villa and we all c@m£ down.
Stella still clung onto me while Alexia walked with Dave.
We got to the villa itself and I wouldn’t deny that the villa itself was big,Bigger than my house.
I wondered how Alexia was doing,She had said that this was where her biological lives
I turned to stare at her again,Though she was hiding it,I could see the nervousness in her
I wanted to go to her at that instant but a lady who walked out greeting us made me st©p
“Hello every one am Isabel Madison,My father hvgo Madison couldn’t make it to be here but I can be your tour guide until he shows up,So why don’t you all put your bags down and come with me”She said and we all put down our bags and followed her.
ALEXIA POV
“so this is the place where the school competition will be taken place,I think have showed you all every where,So all you have to do is to make your self home and while we are doing that ,You all should stay here, Refreshment would be brou-ght to you” Isabel said to us.
I never thought that I would be seeing that man and his daughters like this.
Isabel had been the bit-chy one amongst the two his mistress daughters.
I doubt if she will recognise me,After all we only met once.
“Wow this villa is so beautiful”Jennifer said as she ate the cake and drank her orange jui-ce
“Have only heard of it,I never knew that it would be this beautiful”Mary added as she also drank her orange jui-ce
Dave,James,Mary,Jennifer and I all sat down talking and eating out Refreshment
My mind was preoccu-pied about seeing My dad that I didn’t hear what they were saying
“Isn’t that right Alexia”James said and i stared at them lost
“You haven’t been listening right?”Jennifer asked
“Sorry I was just thinking,Tell me again”I said
“I said that don’t you think Nick should Join us “James said
“Join us?”I asked
“If course,we are his band and he is over there with his girlfriend chatting”James said pointing and i turned to stare at them.
“Why don’t we just call him here”Mary asked
“I don’t…….”
“You guys should just eat and st©p talking about Nick,He is spending some time with his girlfriend so let’s leave him alone”Dave said finishing what I had to say.
“Well I doubt that will happen because he is heading our way,”James said and we all turned to see him walking towards us
quic-kly I stood up “I nee-d to visit the ladies,I will be back soon”I said and I ran off.
My mind was occu-pied on ways to avoid Brian,I didn’t notice that I was heading the wrong way.
It wasn’t until I heard Isabel voice that I st©pped
“If you are looking for the ladies This is not the right way but………”She st©pped when she stared at me properly
“Alexia!”She called and when I didn’t answer she walked towards me
“I can’t believe that it’s you,How come you are here,did you come to talk to dad, do you want to come back and crawl for his love”She asked smiling
“I didn’t come here for that,Am p@rt of the success high student”I replied
“What? I heard that success high was only for rich students,How come you are there or don’t tell me that your mother married a rich old fool to squander all his money”She said acidly
“Like your mother with my father”I said
“So you are still angry about that? Your mother didn’t know how to plea-se my dad,So my mom filled up that place for her”
“By stealing some one else husband” I said
“She didn’t steal him,He chose her,He preferred her over your mom and if you c@m£ back here hoping to get some thing out of him ,I suggest you leave”She said
“I couldn’t care less about any one of you,I only c@m£ because of our school trip and nothing else and while am here stay away from me”I said and turned to leave but she c@m£ to obstruct my path
“Tell me how you have been living for the past 10 years,I doubt your mother would have been able to s£nd you to success high If she wasnt slee-ping arou…….”She couldn’t finish her word because I sl@pped her
“Insult me all you want but leave my mom out of it”I said
“You bit-ch!”She said raising her hand to sl@p me but Nick held it before it t©uçhed me
“Nick ! ” She said as she recognised him
“I suggest you leave here right now and get lost”He said
“But!”
“You heard him right! Get lost before we both do some thing to you”Dave said as they both stood in front of me

ALEXIA POV
“So what are you going to do,Are you going to leave willingly or f0rç£fully?”Dave asked breaking the sudden silence
“Let go of me first!”She said to Nick and he did let her go
“Wow,I never thought that The two hunks in success high will be your guard”She said starring at me
“They don’t have to guard me,When it comes to you,I can defend myself”I replied
“This is not over though! I will make sure I…….”She couldn’t finish her word because Dave dragged her off
I stood watching her being pu-ll-ed off by Dave, These past few years hasn’t made her change,I wonder how their father will be too,I thought to myself
“Are you okay?”Nick asked and I stared at him,I had totally forgot that he was here with me
“Yes,I am”I replied starring at him
“are you sure?”He asked as he held my cheek
“Yes I am,You don’t have to……”I said moving away from him
“You really are bent on avoiding me right?”He asked
“Am I avoiding you?”I asked
“You know you are and you that that alone drives me crazy”He said holding my hand
“I really didn’t notice and besides shouldn’t you be with your girlfriend?”I asked as I pu-ll-ed my hand away
“St©p talking about Stella each time we are both having a conversation”
“But it’s a must that we talk about her,She is the one in your life,Your girlfriend,So plea-se Nick let’s just end this conversation here”I said and quic-kly walked off.
I made it to the rest room and luckily there was no one there.
I stood starring at the mirror breathing in de-eply
Just then the door opened and Stella walked in with her friends
She had a smile on her face but on seeing me the smile vanished
“Out of all the place,Why did I have to run into you here?”She asked starring at me angrily
“If you are worried about seeing me here,I will leave”I said moving past her but she st©pped me by holding my hand
“I will only say this once Alexia,Leave my boy friend alone,I don’t know what you have done to have Dave wra-pped around your f!ngersbut I won’t let that happen with my Nick”She said
“If you are that scared,Then I suggest that you keep a close eyes on him”I replied and her hold ti-ghtned
“I mean it Alexia,Nick belongs to me and I won’t let a thing like you take him from me”She said
Pushing off her hand I turned to stare at her “Why! Do I smell fear in you or you are that desperate not to lose Nick”I asked
“Don’t mess with me!”She warned
“No! You and Nick shouldn’t mess with me,I have no intention of taking Nick from you and plea-se do a good job by keeping him close to you,I have a ha-rd time trying to get him off my back”I said and gave her a cruel smile before walking out of the rest room.
I didn’t mean what I said but I wanted to hurt Stella,Wanted to make her feel uneasy about her darling boy friend.
If only Nick will show me in some manner or in a big way that he really loves me,Then I might start to believe him.
I was so de-ep in thought that I didn’t notice Dave until he st©pped me by putting an arm around me
“Where did you go to?”He asked
“Well I was in the rest room”I replied
“I was quite worried,I had had a ha-rd getting that Isabel off my back”He said
“Oh! Did she insult you or she …….”
“Nothing of the sort ,She wouldn’t dare after all am the well loved Dave,You know that every one loves me”He said
“Let me guess,Isabel is also amongst those who loves you right!”
“Well not really and if she does then I don’t nee-d her love or any one else,I want a certain girl love and I hope that some day I can get it”He said looking at me seriously
“Shouldn’t we go back to the others,They might be wondering why we are taking long”I said quic-kly moving out of his hold
NICK POV
“hello once again to you all,I am mark,Your host for the program that will be taking place in this villa,Just to give you a heads up, Ap@rt from the school competition that will be taking place,There will also be a lot of fun games that we will p@rticipate in” A man who Stood on the stage said to us all.
I wasnt quite listening because I was watching Alexia and the others
She was chatting with Mary and Jennifer,Seems like the ordeal with Isabel is now well forgotten.
“Hey! What do you keep staring at,Just focus”Stella said ma-king me to look at her
“Have I told you that you look so hand some today”Stella said wra-pping her arm around mine
” You haven’t and I hope you don’t”I said gently
The time has come for me to break it off with Stella,I was reluctant to do so because I didn’t want to break her heart or cause her pain,After all I pursued her and made her fall me but I can’t chose to stay with some one I don’t love while I lose the one I love,I thought as I starred at Alexia again.
This time she was talking Dave and he was telling her some thing that made her smile
I felt so jealous and angry,One thing i am sure of is that Alexia feels some thing for me though she tries to tell me other wise and pushes me away but if am not careful I might just lose it all to Dave.
“Why don’t we all do some thing intertesting guys”Mark our host said
“We pick ourselves in five pairs each “He added and quic-kly every one began to pick each other
I wanted to go Alexia but Stella firm hold on me st©pped me
I ended up being paired with Stella and her friends and when I looked at Alexia and the rest,They had also formed a group
“Now two pairs of group will face each other, A line had been made in the hall, The group that manages to pu-ll the other over the line wins” He said
I didn’t feel like p@rticipating but I had to and I wouldn’t let Dave take all the credit,I thought.
ALEXIA POV
While the other group did theirs,It finally got to our turn and luck had to have it that it will surely be Nick and Stella group that we compete with.
Nick got in the front,Like wise Dave,I stood behind Dave while the rest piled behind me
I held onto Dave w@!st reluctantly but he took my hand and wra-pped it around him properly
“If we must win,You have to hold properly” He said and I nodded
Once the game instructor asked us to start,We began to pu-ll,It was a strong battle and we pu-ll-ed for a while,I kept on wondering who might win.
I didn’t know how it happen, Maybe it was a fall back from us or a sl!pfrom Dave, All I knew was that we dragged past the line by Nick team .
We all stumbled on the floor and when I say we all,I Also mean Nick team members
I knew that I didn’t fall on the floor because the thing I was laying on wasn’t the ground but some one itself
I looked up only to see that it was Nick,I had fallen on Nick……..
