” Adesua are you with someone ? Dozie asked Again and I felt feyi’s hand Crip towards my pa-nts .
” Feyi stop ….” I said and my eyes wide-ned in shock realising I had M0-ned out feyi’s name .
I covered my mouth in shock .
” So this is what you do to me ? I thought we where dating Ade ? He asked on the other end and I felt super guilty .
” Dozie it’s not like that okay …I … DOZIE ! I called but he’d caught the call.
” You should let him go. Adesua ..I mean you react to my every touch like a moth to a flame ” Feyi said and I just looked away .
” That’s because I haven’t properly gotten over you , I’d get over …” I trailed and he sat up .
” Fine …Go to the Dozie and pretend you love him …” He spat and I glared at him .

He was out of control and all over me ..the ki-ss was punishing …I could feel his anger as he hands trailed forbidden places .

Gosh if someone had told me …my bestfriend was this crazy ,I’d have denied a million years .

” Sue me then ” he said and my eyes nearly came out of their sockets ..

” Ha …she wants me to get you pregnant anyways ” he said laughing .
” What ? Pregnant ..are you trying to knock me up ? I’m not ready for …’ I was saying and. Gasped when I felt him remove it .
” Feyi ” I slapped his arm as I covered my legs immediately .
” You nee-d deliverance ….! I’m not coming to your house after this , you’re just trying by all means to knock me up !
” I want us to get married …I want you as my wife ” he said and I laughed .

His phone rang and he picked up .
” Fu-ck I’m on my way ” he said and got down from the bed .
” Feyi what’s wrong ? I asked him worriedly .
” It’s one of my patients …she nee-ds surgery immediately or . I fear we might loose her ” he said worriedly .
” Feyi calm down I’d drive you there ” I said and walked over to his wardrobe to get something .
I ended up driving him to the hospital and watched as he Rushed in the theater to save a life.

My phone rang and it was my as-sistant .
I remembered I still nee-d to go to work ..but Feyi nee-ded me , I mean he looked really worried .
.” I won’t be in the office today ” I said and cut the call as I stood outside waiting for him .

Dami had left for the office quiet early today and well his mom and her sister had also left the mansion .
I was nervous about meeting or even talking to Dami’s son .
I mean what if he thinks like his bi-tch of a mother ?
I turned the ? pancakes over and served them on the table .
” Good morning Jackie ” he said softly as he lic-ked his lower li-p nervously .

” Jackie is it fine by you if I stay here ? I mean I just want to bond with Dami …” He said and I smiled .
” Of cause Quincy and trust me I’m not a jealous stepmom ” I said and ruffled his hair.
” If you wanna see your mom …I can ” I trailed .
” No please ” he said and I realized he was still hurt about the other day .
I left him and went to pack his lunch bag .
I walked back and he smiled at me .
” C’mon do you know where your school is located ? I asked as we got to my car .
Throu-ghout our ride to his school , he told me everything about himself his favorite things and I swear I’d gotten an instant liking towards him .
He’s not just cute and smart , but a kind hearted boy .
” Thanks got giving me a ride to school Jackie ..bye ” he said and I bent so he could ki-ss both sides of my cheeks .
My phone rang and it was private investigator back in Newyork .
” You told me you’d work on what I told you last night ? I asked and he laughed .
” Patient Jackie , of cause I’ve linked up with a few of my colleagues in Nigeria and well …your hunch is right the politician …is not as pure as he looks … he’s had an history of using and dumping prominent women ..but none of them are on the media because they’ve been wiped off .
” What ! I asked shocked .
” He has a pregnant fiancee and the news was sold by a distance relative ” he added .
” I can’t believe this ,but thanks for this information .
” Can you just send me the files …on my email … thanks ” I said and he chuckled .
” Be careful around the woman dragging your fiance …she has a bad record ” he advised.
” I’ve asked my brother to send me security , if she makes the mistake of attempting to take my life …she’d end up falling into the pit she dug for me …” I said and he laughed ..

I Walked out of my house and met Richie standing outside his car with a bouquet of flowers .
“What does he want from me ? I spat frowning .
I just hated the fact that what ever he’d said to me still hurt like a f*¢k ..
” My love ” he said and ki-ssed my cheeks .
I didn’t wanna fight or argue with him , so I just walked into his car and he drove towards his place.
We got there and he went over to his room .
My phone rang and it was bervely .. I was already feeling emotional about my fight with him and immediately I picked her call … Everything just came pouring when she asked me what was wrong

” He’s angry I’m angry too ” i said and gosh I was crying badly .

I watched as Feyi walked outta the theater ..he looked a mess as he threw the gloves in the nearby bin and I heard the wailing of the patience family .

I think they lost this one. Feyi never takes it well when he losses a patient and I knew this was gonna be one of those days .

” Clinton ” I called and he refused to say a word as he got in the car.
” He’d be fine Adesua …he just .. didn’t take it well , Ryan was a close friend of ours .. and well ..he’s shaken ” Ahmed said and I felt bad for him .
” I’d just check on him ” i said and he smiled at me.
Throu-ghout our ride to his place he didn’t say a word ,infact he didn’t even say anything when we got to his place …
He just walked into his room and bolt the door .
I sighed softly and went into his kitchen to make something for the both of us .
” Feyi ….hey c’mon ” I said as I realized he’d w£t his pillow with tears .
” It’s not your fault ok. ..you’re just a doctor ,you don’t have the power of life and death …God gives life “I said ru-b-bing his shoulders .
” It hurts Ade …it hurts whenever I loss a patient and Ryan was not just a patient to me ….he…he was a good friend ” he said as he scoffed out more tears I could feel grief eating him up .
” I’m here Feyi ” I said as tears rolled outta my eyes .
” I’m here for you ” i said as I hu-gged him he w£t my ne-ck totally with his tears .
He’d finally fell asleep after I for-ced him eat something .
It was already afternoon when my phone rang making me wonder what was wrong it was Jackie .
” Hello Jackie ” i said and frowned .
” Now ? I asked checking if Feyi was still asleep .
.” Oh okay ” I said and got Down from the bed .
