Vince’s Pov~
She is so beautiful and I can’t believe she is here with me.
Now everything will be fine. I can show her how much I love her and care for her.
Because of Alexander I never got a chance to show how much I love her. If he wouldn’t had interfered that day when I was about to propose her, then today I would have not done this to her.
I know at first she will hate me but eventually she will see it because it was all for us so that we can be together. That’s why I agreed with Cherry’s plans and kidnapped her.
I was seated on a chair next to the be-d where she was lying and soundly asleep. I brushed a strand of hair from her face and stro-ked her cheek.
I still remember our first meeting at Pearce Industries. I entered into her cabin and the moment she looked up I was mesmerized by her beauty especially her eccentric blue eyes.
She was like a fallen angel into earth. Instantly I felt a spark and right then onwards I decided that she is the one for me.
I first started out by being a friend so that she gets comfortable with me. It was fun being with her and I felt happy and content in life.
I remember that day as well, when I was supposed to go out for that family trip with Pearce Family and Scarlet. But Alexander gave me work overseas and s£nt me away for it.
During that period of time I terribly missed her. I wanted to spent time with her and all I had in mind was only her.
The days when I was away from her, I realized she is someone who have made an impact in my life.
She has taken a special place in my heart and I love her unconditionally. During the times I had spent with her I got to know that she is a humble human being with a very caring nature.
She is like a drug to me, if I don’t have her then my life will be out of control and I will go crazy.
So when I was back in NY, I headed straight to office to meet her and tell her what I feel for her.
When I saw her all I wanted to do was hold her in my arms and k!ssher s-en-seless. I exactly did that because I couldn’t st©p myself from doing it.
But that k!sscost me my job, I got fired by Alexander and blacklisted my name due to which I was not getting hired by any other reputed organization.
But what hurt me the most was that she didn’t say anything to me and never met me after that. I thought maybe, she had no feelings for me. She likes Alexander and maybe he st©pped her from meeting me.
I was not aware of them being together but still somewhere I felt like she did like me.
So I stayed away from her thinking maybe that is the right thing at that time.
Besides that I was in a very bad condition. Living in NY without a job is scary. My life turned into another angle where, from being a Project Manager I worked in Cafe and then later on joined as a bartender as well.
I worked day and night to meet my ends though my father had loads of money and power as he belonged to the mafia world.
I never wanted to be a p@rt of it. My mother always told me to do the right thing.
Do what your heart says and always do well for yourself as well as for others. That is the reason why I was struggling here to find a job and establish a reputation for myself.
After trying so much none of the companies accepted me. Hence, I decided to meet her once again. I met her in a mall co-incidentally and told her to meet me at the park.
As her number which I had been unreachable, I took help of my mafia connection and tracked her new number.
Texted her as a reminder to meet her and we met that day. I told her everything. I knew she will un-derstand and will help me get back my job. Hence, I got a new job at Harlow Industry as Project Manager and thanked her for the same.
Everything changed during Ashton Pearce’s Birthday p@rty. I met Cherry and she made me realize that I have a chance with Scarlet.
I nee-d to make her my life p@rtner by showing her how much I love her.
A light of hope appeared when I talked with Cherry.
That’s when I decided no matter what I will gr-ab this chance and express my feelings for her to win her heart. Make her Mine.
I got to know about Cherry’s story, that she loved Alexander and they were together before.
But due to a misun-derstanding they went separate ways. But now she too realized that she nee-ds him in her life. So we both planned out everything to fight for our love.
I joined my mafia family for more resources and power. Lucca was my dad’s trusted friend and second in command.
His home is a second home for me and it’s highly protected. So I decided to get Scarlet here.
Alexander will not have a chance to take her away from me. My people will kill him even if he tried.
“Alex…Alexander…”
My thoughts got interrupted by her voice. She is stirring in her sleep while calling out for Alexander.
Damn it hurts to hear his name from her. Why? Why him?
I could see she was being restless now; maybe she is having a nightmare.
I hushed her and stro-ked her hair. Covered her with blanket and she was now calmly asleep once again.
I placed a sweet k!sson her forehead and whispered in a low voice,
“I love you Scarlet. I love you so much.”
Saying that I held her hands in mine while still sitting on the chair I too fell asleep after a while.

Suddenly the hand in mine was yanked away. Startled I opened my eyes and looked up at a frightened Scarlet.
She looked fragile now and exhausted. Once when she looked at me her fear was replaced with a relief one.
“Vince….Help ME… Cherry…killed Taylor. Oh my god! Taylor.” She was trembling and crying saying that Taylor is stabbe-d and dead. Blood was all she saw.
She was getting a panic attack. I got up and held her in my arms and stro-king her hair I soothed her back saying everything is okay and Taylor is fine.
“I want to meet her. Alexander, plea-se call him. I want to go. I nee-d to be…”
“I …Um… I’m sorry Scarlet. You can’t go.” I said slowly.
“Why?” She asked confused while her tears were still running down her cheeks.
“I can’t let you go. Not this time.”
“What? What do you mean?”
Holding her face I looked into her eyes and softly and said,
“I will protect you always no matter what.
You are the light of my life, a drug to my add!çtion, an angel who captured my heart and mind.
I love you Scarlet.
For always and forever I want to make you mine. plea-se give us a chance. We will start anew and I promise I will make you happy, Princess.”
She g@sped.
“No…no…no..no.. You can’t. This is not…”
She pushed both of my hands away and looked at me in disbelief.
“Scarlet, plea-se calm down. I want you to think about us. You don’t have to say anything right away. Take your time and then give a chance for us…”
“You’re insane. I don’t know what has gotten into you but I nee-d to go.”
She gets up and takes a step forward towards the door.
But I take hold of her hands and pu-ll her onto me. Locking her in my arms in a firm grip I say,
“You are not going anywhere.”
I bend my head down onto the left crook of her n£¢k and place myl-ips on her skin. She goes stiff and re-leases an unsteady breath.
“You are Mine now.” I place a feather light k!ssthere once again.
“Mine to protect…” I k!ssher again a bit above.
“Mine to adore…” I k!ssher again on the side of her n£¢k.
“Mine to love…” I k!ssagain on the back of her ear-lobe.
Then I whisper into her ear,
“I love you Scarlet.”
I bite her ear-lobe and she shivers and pushes me away with whatever strength she had. Freeing herself from my hold, sl@ps me ha-rd across my left cheek and she dashes out from the door quic-kly.
For a moment I was stunned with her reaction and with the sl@p.
She sl@pped me. I could feel the sting on my left cheek very well. But I can’t let her sl!paway from me.
Hell no, not this time!
I sigh and follow her out.
