Episode 24
Scarlet’s Pov~~
“Scarlet, there is a delivery for you.”
Lorry informed me while I was unpacking my things in our new ap@rtment. Yes, today I am officially moving in with him.
“Delivery for me? Oh okay.” I asked while thinking about what it could be.
“Well, see it’s a beautiful flower bouquet. I think it’s from your Mr. Pearce. Oh there is no note in here but it’s a pretty lovely gesture.
Don’t you think? “She asked while giving it to me and I gladly accepted it with a sweet smile.
“Oh look at you. I am so happy to see you fall in love like this.” She cooed and I giggled while hvgging her.
“Okay now. Let’s get back to our work. I nee-d to set all these things today before he comes back from work.”
“Don’t you think even you should surprise him with something special?” She wriggled her eyebrows while looking at me excitedly.
“Yeah ….actually I should.
I have never done anything for him. It’s been him, who keeps doing something or the other for me. But Lorry I don’t know what he likes!” I realized it now; I have not done a single thing for him.
“Well, I think you both should have a bold and S-xy d@t£ tonight in your ap@rtment with dim lights, soft music, a hearty dinner and ravishing h0t S-x.” She win-ked at me.
“Lorry…! Just shut up” I was so flvstered. My cheeks turned a dark shade of red.
“What? He will be damn surprised. He likes surprises. Phht…If you ask me, I’ll say just go for it. He will be on cloud nine. ”
“How do you know he like surprises?”
“Uh…come on Letty all men like surprises from their girlfriend.”
She said and rolled her eyes up and then mumbled something to herself.
“What?” I asked her while keeping my stuff inside the cu-pboard.
“Nothing…” She mumbled.
After pushing aside all the thoughts, I continued with my work.
After few minutes, again the doorbell rang. Lorry got to it and called out for me to come and see what it is.
When I entered the living area I was surprised to see bouquets of flowers were all around the place. The delivery man still kept on placing the bouquet inside.
“Hey, may I know who is delivering all these flowers to her? ” Lorry asked the delivery man and he just shrugged in response.
Our new ap@rtment is quite spacious if you see.
The whole place is homey with furnished set of sofa and chairs in the living room with a beautiful royal chandelier hanging on the t©p.
Front wall consist of T.V. and also a comfy couch is set towards the right side. The living area also includes the large balcony which is separated by a sliding glas-s door.
Then towards the left side is our be-droom with a combination of sky blue and light cream colored walls while in the middle a large kind sized be-d is placed as well as adjustable light and room temperature system is also set.
Towards the middle is his study room and towards the right side is the modern kitchen with all the amenities.
And right now if you see, this ap@rtment is totally occu-pied with bouquet of flowers everywhere.
Lorry finds it ro-mantic and now she is counting them all while I am surprised with such a gesture and was smiling like an idiot.
After an hour, we finished with our unpacking of all my things and enjoyed a hearty lunch.
Lorry had to leave for certain d@t£ which she won’t tell me hence we said our goodbyes and I was all alone in the ap@rtment.
Later in the evening, Alexander c@m£ home and was surprised to see all the flowers.
“Oh don’t you give me that surprised look. I know it’s you who have been s£nding me all these flowers during the day Alex.” I gave him a pe-ck and hvgged him ti-ghtly.
“Baby it’s not me.” He replied in a serious tone.
“You’re kidding right?”
“No. Why would I?” He was now examining the flowers.
“Alex…I thought it’s you and there was no note along with these. Then who could have delivered these to me? Or was it wrongly delivered?”
He thought for a while and then said,
” Maybe.”
He quic-kly dialed a number and was speaking on the phone with someone. After a while he got a callback, then his expression turned ha-rd and now he was very much pissed off.
After disconnecting the call, he did another call and after ten minutes few men c@m£ and started discarding all the flowers away.
“Alex, what happened?” I asked him though I was scared of him right now.
“These are s£nt by someone else. Don’t worry it was s£nt mistakenly. They will clear it all out.”
I just nodded in response.
Well, thank God after sometime Alex’s mood got better and I was in his arms all the night. We had our dinner together and then watched television.
The warmth radiating from his b©dy always made me feel safe. Then I remembered about me not surprising him with any plans. Taylor’s words c@m£ in my mind.
I looked up at him and admiringly.
“You know you can k!ssme now. I won’t mind it at all. In fact I am longing for a k!ssfrom you.” He said mischievously which made me smile.
“I had missed you so much today in the office. Oh god…” saying that he held me ti-ght, kept his face on my shoulder and his hands roamed around my back then pressed the sides of my w@!st.
His t©uçh made me m0@n and that led to a whole lot of things. We had a S-xy night!
Next day~
“My dear you are such a lucky girl. I knew there is some possibility of you two getting together. Now see, you both are the power couple and setting an example for others.”
Maddie said while looking at the pictures of the p@rty in the newspaper. We were sitting in the office canteen enjoying our break.
I was smiling while listening to her.
“Oh My, even she was pres£nt for the p@rty? ” she asked while pointing at Cherry’s picture.
“Yes.” I said in a small voice.
“Hmm…I would say just be careful. She is not a good person and I don’t un-derstand why she is back into his life.” She frowned with that thought.
“Oh Maddie, don’t worry. She is a friend now.” I said though even I am not sure if everything is okay with her being in our life.
“Whatsoever, I am happy that you are there for him and everything is taken care regarding the press as well. He has given a proper statement that he is no longer single and declared his love for you.
Oh honey, I am so happy for you.” She hvgged me and I was still smiling due to that news.
And I also remembered him asking me in the p@rty to move in with him, me saying yes to it and about our last night love session in our ap@rtment.
Maddie then pu-ll-ed me out of my thoughts by giving her blessings to me.
Our break got over and we got ourselves back to work. Firstly I had few calls to be made for arranging meetings for him.
Then I had certain do¢v-ments to be filled and two reminders to be given to him.
Suddenly I was called by him throu-gh the intercom,
“Scarlet. Cabin… Now…”
He was angry. Why?
I hurried to his cabin, after knocking his door two times I entered inside.
Strongly I was pu-ll-ed into his ha-rd che-st and he k!$$£d me with so much intensity as if his life depended on it.
I was getting all that fluttery feeling de-ep inside and I started k!ss!nghim back. We pu-ll-ed away as we were both out of breath. But he hvgged me; his head was on the nook of my n£¢k.
“I missed you!” Hearing those words made me smile and I just let out a relief breath.
“I thought something was wrong.”
“Nothing will go wrong if I have you with me.” Saying he looked at me and grinned.
I lightly punched his shoulder and rolled my eyes for him being so cheesy.
There was a soft knock on the door and he muttered a come in irritated.
“Oh sorry… Am I interrupting something?” She asked while looking at both of us.
“Yes….No….” we both replied at the same time and looked at each other, and then he turned towards her.
“What do you want Cherry?”
“I nee-d to go visit the doctor. So can I take Scarlet along with me plea-se?”
“Is everything okay?” I asked with concern to her.
“It’s just a routine checkup. Will you plea-se accompany me?” She asked with expectant eyes.
“Yeah…Okay.” I said with a small smile. I don’t know why I agreed to it. But I thought I’ll help her out.
“But I nee-d you here. I have a meeting to attend and…” Alexander turned towards me and said but I gave him a look saying “I WILL GO WITH HER”.
“Fine…”He muttered. She thanked us and waited outside.
Then he hvgged me, k!$$£d me on my forehead and said,
“Love you. Be back soon.”
“Yes and I love you too.” I gave him a pe-ck and headed out to meet Cherry.

Cherry was done with her test and now we were in a coffee shop.
“So…you have moved in with him, Right?” She asked while having her cookies.
“Uh…yes.”
“I heard he brou-ght a new condo for you near to Pearce Inc. Are you both staying there or at his parents place?”
She looked up at me and asked while I felt like we pla-ying some sort of twenty questions game.
“At the new condo… Why?” I asked just to know why she is asking me such questions.
“plea-se don’t think of me as an intruder in your lives. I was just curious, nothing else.” She smiled.
I nodded in response and had my h0t cu-p of coffee.
“Scarlet…. I just… I wanted to apologize to you for all that I said when every time we met before. I was completely shattered with the way my life was. I wanted to just …I am so sorry.
I have hurt you a lot with my words. Right now all I want is to extend my hand of friendsh!pto you. That’s the reason why I insisted you to accompany me. So will you be my friend and forgive me for what I did?”
I couldn’t believe what I heard just now from Cherry. Apologizing and extending a hand of friendsh!pto me. Are you kidding me?
But seeing her I feel she is genuinely saying all of it. She is pregnant and must be feeling awfully alone. People like her nee-d friends and admirers around them. I hope I am doing the right thing.
“Well, I never expected this. It’s okay; I forgive you but being friends…. I don’t know, maybe I can try.”
Upon hearing my words her face lit up, said a thank you and smiled in relief.
“Hey!”
I turned around to see who was it and it was none other than him.
“Hi Vince, How come you are here?” Cherry asked in surprise.
Wait do they know each other?
“Oh I was having a meeting with our Clients inside the pri-vate section of this cafe. Then I saw you two so just thought to greet you guys.”
“You both know each other?” I asked in wonder.
“Well, we met during the p@rty. He is a gentleman.” Cherry complimented him to which he thanked her.
“May I join?” He asked and Cherry said a yes to him. He took a seat next to me and ordered his coffee.
We were just having few small talks and then Cherry excused herself to go to the ladies room. So now it was just me and him.
“You looked beautiful during the p@rty.” He complimented me, I just smiled and said thank you for it.
“And thank you for helping me get my job back. It’s really a big thing for me.”
“Oh that’s fine. Besides it was because of me that you lost your job.”
“Scarlet, I wanted to ask you something. That day when I had k!$$£d you, did you feel that I had feelings for you?”
I was taken aback with what he asked me. But before I could reply to him I heard a sound.
Cli-ck Cli-ck Cli-ck…..
Damn it was the press!
Oh god this can’t be happening.
I was worried now. I am with Vince and they are gona make it a big bad news for tomorrow. Cherry is nowhere to be found. I stood up and said to vince,
“I nee-d to leave now.”
He un-derstood and I called Cherry. She c@m£ back and was calmly walking along with me and Vince to his car. But I was freaking out because if Alex got to know this he’ll be damn angry.
God help me!
Vince dropped Cherry first to her ap@rtment and then headed towards my office. I thanked him for dropping me but before I could leave he called me,
“Scarlet, nothing…. Take care!”
He flashed his charming smile and drove off.
What is wrong with him! Putting all the thoughts at the back of my mind I rushed into the office.

“What?”
He is beyond pissed. I knew it.
“What the hell was he doing there in the cafe? And how did the press know you both were there?”
He questioned and I had no idea for it.
He quic-kly contacted someone and said to take care of this press issue.
And sighed in relief saying that the news won’t be out as he has a team as-signed now for such press issues and hence they will see to it.
“I don’t like him and I don’t want him to be anywhere near to you.” He pu-ll-ed me towards his arms and hvgged me ti-ght.
“By any chance are you jealous Mr. Pearce?”
“Hell no…”
I chuckled due to his reply because I knew his answer but I like when he is like this.
And so as a reward I pu-ll-ed his face and k!$$£d him. At first he was surprised with my action because I have never initiated our k!ssbut instantly he recovered it and k!$$£d me back with full intensity.
Both of us being out of breath we pu-ll-ed back and I rested my forehead on his. Now all I hear is our heavy breath and my racing heart. But upon hearing those three words from him always skip my heartbeat and these are such memories which I always cherish with him.
” I LOVE YOU…..”
“I Love you too Alexander.” This will be my reply to him always and forever.
Alexander’s Pov~
At his office >>>>
“Baxter. Does this file contain all the information about him which I want to know?” Eyeing the brown file, I asked to Max Baxter my loyal tracker friend who is currently seated in front of me in my office cabin.
“Yes. Few things you might not like it in there just giving you a heads up bro.” He said while pushing the file towards me.
“What thefu-ck!” I yelled looking into the details and pictures in the file.
“Calm down lover boy… I know it’s shocking to know that information but I think he is no harm for your girl.”
“What do you mean? These pictures states otherwise.” I was pissed off.
“That picture is the one when she had gone along with Cherry for her checkup.” He stated.
“Max I nee-d you to put an eye on Vince D’costa. Now I nee-d details of his every damn move.” I sneered in anger.
“Got it… But….” He replied while thinking about something else.
“Is there something more to it?”
“Well, Cherry and Vince…. I think these two are planning something together. Their friendsh!pbloomed very soon into a good one and are always hanging out once in a week.
I know she is trying to get into your good books now. But I feel it’s all a facade and her intentions are not good. There is still that evil glint in her eyes sometimes. I even doubt if she is pregnant!” Max said while thinking out loud of all things which he felt.
“Why do you think they are together planning something?” I asked him.
“Well, if you see Cherry never get along with anyone unless if that person will be helpful for her in any way.
And I think she is planning something against Scarlet. Because at the p@rty she got acknowledged with Vince and from then onward he is also being quite close with Scarlet. Don’t you think…”
“They are trying to take her away from me.” I stated gritting my teeth after realizing what he was getting at.
“Exactly and now that you know who Vince is, you will have to deal with him cautiously. As you instructed, I am also trying to get a hold of that doctor who takes care of Cherry’s health checkups. I will soon know about her truth as well.”
I sat in silence for a moment, thinking about what to do next.
“For time being let Ray protect your girl while we get more information on her.”
“I was planning to do the same. But I nee-d to be more vigilant and make sure none of my family gets hurt due to her or him.”

At Scarlet’s and Alexander’s New Ap@rtment >>>>>>
“Dove… I’m home.”
As I got into our ap@rtment, I saw a teenager standing in front of me while eyeing me up and down. She had a petite figure with beautiful blonde hair, baby blue eyes and she looked eerily familiar with someone whom I know though not sure who.
“You must be the h0t b©yfri£ndof her?” She said while pointing her index f!nger at me.
“Excuse me. Who are you? What are you…” I was about to ask her but she interrupted me.
“I’m Sera. I’m Scarlet’s little sister.” She stands up and put forward her hand to greet me but instead of taking her hand in mine I envelope her in a warm brotherly hvg.
“Welcome home Sera. I’m Alexander Pearce.”
“Yeah I know! Duh…” She chuckles and then takes a seat on the couch. Taking a seat beside her I took a look at her and realized why she felt so familiar to me earlier.
Both sisters’ almost look alike.
Clearing her throat she said,
“Well, Scarlet has gone out for some grocery shopping….She will be back soon.”
I just nodded in response. I could also see that she is a bit nervous and was changing the channels one by one.
“So are you enjoying college? Being a medical student you must be having a lot to study…I suppose.” I started the conversation to make her feel comfortable.
“Yeah…But I do enjoy while studying at college except there is this one person who is a rich br@t who irritates the hell out me!” She said with an irritated look.
“Oh! Do you want me to do something about him?” I asked with concern.
“No. It’s okay. I’ll deal with him. No worries.” She said reas-suringly.
“Sera…If you nee-d any kind of help you can always ask me. Being your brother I’ll always protect you.” I said while she looked at me with a bright smile and nodded in response.
“You’re really into my sister. Aren’t you? You won’t break her heart right?” She asked me softly.
“I will never ever break her heart because she is as precious as a rare gem to me.
She is the one whom I always want to cherish because I love her to my core so rest be as-sured.” I said sincerely to her and her face lit up.
“She is the only family I have. Do take good care of her. You are a really nice human being for supporting my sister and she is so lucky to have you as her b©yfri£nd. I totally sh!pyou both!”
“Hahaha… the truth is I am the luckiest man on earth to have your sister as my girlfriend!” I said while she just g@sped with what I said.
“You’re such a perfect guy!” She stated with happiness.

“Morning Dove. I whispered into her ear while she slowly woke up next to me. Mumbling a morning she snuggled into my che-st and closed her eyes once again.
“You can take a week off as Sera is here, I know you two want to spend some time together.” I k!$$£d on t©p of her forehead while we both were lying down on our be-d.
“But there is alre-ady so much work piling up as I was not there in office for two days for shifting the ap@rtment.
Besides how will you manage everything?” She asks while looking up at me with worry.
“Oh don’t you worry. Maddie is there to help me.
You should be with Sera as family matters a lot.” I said while holding her face with both my hands and then gave her a pe-ck.
She nodded in response and pu-ll-ed me closer and places her head into crook of my shoulder. We l@yon be-d for some time and then got up to freshen up and start our day ahead.
She was getting re-ady while looking into the mirror. I slowly moved towards her and hvgged from behind.
Letting my head rest on her shoulders I admired her beauty throu-gh the mirror. Inhaling her scent always made me feel calm. I k!$$£d her side of the n£¢k and whisper into her ears,
“Dove…. close your eyes.”
She did as I said while b!tt!g her lowerl-ip. I placed a simple heart shaped diamond pendant chain around her n£¢k and clasped its end behind.
“Open your eyes.”
Looking into the mirror she said in a small voice,
“It’s beautiful.” While she placed her hand on the locket, she looked at me and me at her admiringly.
Then turning around I held her face in my hands, I gently k!$$£d her. Putting all my emotions into that one k!sswhich says I love her to eternity.
As a response she k!$$£d me back with same gentleness which made me smile and we embr@ced that small moment together, standing silently while holding each other in our arms.
After a while we moved out from our room towards the living area to see Sera setting up the breakfast for us.
“Morning Love birds!” Sera happily chirped.
“Morning Sera.”
“Well I thought I’ll prepare a hearty breakfast for you both!”
We smiled and seated to have our breakfast.
“So…what are you both planning to do today?” I ask while pouring the coffee into my cu-p.
“We are going shopping to our hearts content.” Sera exclaimed excitedly.
“Yeah…I’ve invited Estelle and Taylor as well. It will be a girl’s day out and will have lots of fun!” She informed.
“Okay. I will tell Ray to get the car for you guys and accompany you all today.” I said while checking few upd@t£s on my phone.
“What? No… It’s a girl’s day out Alex. He will get bored being with us. Estelle can drive her car so we all will be fine. “She protested.
“No. It’s not about driving the car Dove. It’s about safety. So either Ray will come along with you all or else I will set up four guards who will be constantly giving you protec-tion.
It’s your choice.” I shrugged.
Sera was just looking at both of us left to right and then stated,
“You both are so cute!”
“Fine… Ray it is then…” Scarlet grumbles and finish eating her breakfast. While I call up Ray and informs him to go along with them.
I hvg my Dove and place a k!sson her forehead and smiles at her.
“I love you. Take care. I will join you guys for dinner okay.”
She nods and then I crash myl-ips onto her. She sighs and then I turn towards Sera, gives her a sideways hvg and k!sson her forehead.
Waving a bye to them I left our ap@rtment and drove off towards my office.

At his Cabin>>>>>
“What have you got Baxter?”
“A twist….”
“Well what is it? She is pregnant for real or not?” I asked while looking at my best friend.
“Look into the file.” He pas-sed the file to me.
“I looked into the file to see what I knew from the start. I just nee-ded a confirmation on the news that’s it.
But the next thing which I heard from him made me stiffen and look at him in worry.
“Hmm…”
