Scarlet’s Pov~~
As I entered office today morning the first person I saw was Maddie.
Maddie is back from London. She had had been there to visit her new born granddaughter and now she is back after a month.
(Note: Madeleine is the s£nior most employees who worked as an as-sistant to Alexander’s father during when he was the CEO of Pearce Industries.)
“Maddie I am so glad to see you back.” I happily said and hvgged her with all smiles.
“Oh dear it’s just been two days. I missed you and everyone so much.”
She replied with a beaming smile.
“Oh my god I missed you too!”
“For now, we’ll just get back to work and we will talk about everything later on. Also, I heard about you and Alex and I am so happy for both you. We nee-d to talk about that too.” She said and looked very excited to know about our relationsh!p.
I blu-shed upon hearing that. Well I just nodded at her as a reply and we went towards our respective cabins.
At noon I remembered that I had to meet Vince at the park. But I will have to inform Alex before I leave.
“Sir may I come in.” I knocked at his door and asked permission to enter.
He gave me permission and I entered inside. Actually, I am feeling damn nervous because I am going to lie to him.
I made myself calm down first and then took a de-ep breath and asked him,
“Umm…Sir, I will be going out with Lorry for lunch today. She nee-ded to talk about something very important. So I will be late to come back for work. Will that be okay?”
He st©pped re-ading his do¢v-ment and looked up at me. He looked straight to my eyes and then with a warm smile said,
“Hmm…, so no lunch with me today huh!
Okay I will be fine by myself but I will miss you Dove and plea-se don’t call me sir.”
He stood up, c@m£ forward towards me and then gently pu-ll-ed me in his arms. I giggled and put both my hands around his n£¢k. I could feel his warmth radiating across his b©dy.
He looked at me with so much love and I felt so good to be with him.
I am so sorry Alex for lying to you but if I tell you the truth, you will never allow me to meet Vince.
I thought to myself.
Alex gave me a k!sson my forehead and then asked me with concern,
“What’s the matter Dove? Is everything ok?”
“Yes. I am fine.”
I gave him a pe-ck and quic-kly left office.

At The Park~~
There were very few people right now inside the park. I was trying to look for Vince but I couldn’t find him.
Maybe he is late or he must have forgotten about our meeting.
Suddenly I got a text message.
It’s him.
“plea-se come to the waterfall statue. I am waiting here.”
-Vince
I walked towards the left side of the garden; waterfall statue was located towards the far left corner. But I couldn’t find him.
“Hey!” I turned towards my right and there he was standing un-der a tree.
I walked towards him and saw that he had a smile on his face.
“I thought you might not come to meet me. Thank you for coming.”
“Yeah… So…What is that you wanted to talk about? How did you get my new number?” I asked him and he gestured me to sit down un-der the tree with him.
Leaving a bit space between, I sat down next to him and it was a fine sp©t.
“Scarlet…I got it from Taylor and I wanted to say, that day at the office I didn’t mean to hurt you or take advantage of you.
Besides, I was not aware that you were in a relationsh!pwith Mr. Pearce. I am so sorry for what I did. But I really liked you and still do.
But I guess…I never really had a chance with you. You are really a wonderful person and I respect you a lot but I don’t deserve to be punished in this way anymore.
I don’t deserve to live like this. I am tired of my state and that is the reason why I am here to tell you that plea-se forgive me and let me have my job back.”
“I…I am sorry what? What do you mean?” I asked him as I couldn’t un-derstand as to what he said right now. I was puzzled.
“Look… No one is re-ady to hire me anymore due to Mr. Pearce. He has a respectable position everywhere and has blacklisted my name. Blacklisted by him means no employer will hire me in the organization no matter what.
I am doomed and I have worked really ha-rd to be who I am. Just because I showed interest in you and declared my feelings for you it affected my whole career.”
“I…I umm…I was not aware of it. I am sorry. So what are you doing now?” I asked him and I was taken aback with his revelation.
“I am currently juggling with two jobs, one in the morning at a cafe and another one at night at a bar. It’s too difficult to live here without a job and I have no option. But I want to have my job back because it’s my life. So plea-se….”
“I was not aware of all this… Vince. I am so sorry for everything. I’ll speak with Alex regarding your job. Give me some time okay? Don’t worry everything will be good for you.” I as-sured him and he sighed in relief.
I have to talk to Alex about this. I don’t want anyone to be unhappy because of me or loose job and be in such a terrible condition. Poor Vince…
“Yeah well, it’s great to see you again.”
I smiled and said,
“Yeah and I am sorry for all this. But
…”
He interrupted me and said,
“Scarlet, you don’t have to apologize.”
I nodded in response.
“I…I think I should leave now.” I stood up and said bye to him and headed back at work.

At Office~
“I nee-d to talk to you.” I said and entered his cabin.
“Okay. Is everything alright?” He stood in front of me while holding me around my w@!st.
“Alex…..It’s about Vince.” His expression changed from soft to ha-rd and his hold around my w@!st ti-ght£ñed as well.
“What about him?” He asked in a very serious tone.
“Why did you blacklist his name? He is not able to get job anywhere. He….”
“How did you get to know that? Who told you this?” He interrupted and asked me very angrily.
“Alex he worked very ha-rd to get into that position which he had and now he is working two times to meet his nee-ds. That’s not fair.” I was trying to explain it to him but he was getting angrier by every pas-sing minute.
“You met him.” He stated by pu-lling me closer to him.
“I…Yes but……” I said and before I could complete my s£ntence he r0ûghly pushed me towards the wall.
Held my hands on each sides and said,
“Why didn’t you inform me? He could have harmed you. Why don’t you un-derstand? Damn you are so ….”
“I am so what?
Alex I am fine. Look, I don’t want anyone to be in such a terrible state because of me. plea-se Alex… he deserves his job, don’t ruin his life like this.”
He nodded in response and his forehead was on mine, his eyes were closed. When he opened his eyes I saw a different emotion all together.
He was calm now and he gave me a gentle k!ss. My heart fluttered inside and I felt like I am in a different world right now.
Alexander’s Pov~~
“Morning…” She greeted me with a warm smile.
“Morning Dove.”
“Your coffee…
I have kept few do¢v-ments for proof re-ading in your right draw.” She gestured towards the draw.
“Okay so we have a lot of work today.
Firstly, I got a call from an important client. They are from Chicago and have a new project for us which are really hvge.
A meeting is fixed on Friday with them in one of our h0tel i.e. h0tel Paradise. plea-se make a note of it.”
“Ok done.”
“We nee-d to call a meeting today with all the head of the dep@rtments to discuss all issues and concerns if they have any. Keep the meeting at eleven.”
“Okay.”
“Are there any other meetings for today?” I asked her while checking few important work details on my phone.
“No Sir.”
“Ok. Good.”
She made a few notes in her dairy and then asked me,
“Have you got any gift for Ashton yet?”
“No. Have you?” I asked her, she nodded in response and then I remembered she had gone out for shopping with Estelle that day.
“What did you get for him?” I asked with curiosity.
She smiled and said,
“Oh it’s just a simple gift. You will see it later in the evening.”
“Oh come on, just tell me now.”
“No… Now if you may plea-se excuse me. We have a lot of work to do today.”
That being said she win-ked at me and left my cabin. Damn her.
After all the meetings and proof re-adings and few other works I decided to think about Ashton’s gift.
Thinking of all the possible things that he like, I finally got a perfect gift for him. Oh he’ll just love it.
While at lunch time I was with Dove and Ray at the Reney’s.
We were in between a conversation regarding Ashton’s Birthday and right then I got a call from Cherry.
Cherry: “Hi Alexi!
I wanted to ask you something. Can I?”
Alex: “Yes.”
Cherry: “Can I come for the Birthday p@rty in the evening? I want to feel good and be around people. Feel normal. You know…rather than sitting inside a four walled room.”
Alex: “But… “(She interrupted me)
Cherry: “I know there will be press and they might make a hvge hype about us.
But we will give a statement that we are friends now and everything is good between us. Most importantly I want to feel normal and happy. plea-se Alex.”
Alex: “Ok.”
Cherry: “Aww…Thank you. plea-se do come to pick me up. I am so excited!
See you in the evening bye.”
I ended the call.
“Who was it?” Ray and Scarlet both asked together at the same time. They both looked at each other and then looked at me for my reply.
“Cherry.” I replied with a calm tone.
“What does she want now?” He asked.
“Well, she wants to attend today’s p@rty and I gave her permission for it.”
“What! Why? Are you out of your mind?” He asked me angrily.
“Ray, I’ll take care of everything nothing to worry much.”
Dove was quiet and she was just looking at me. I don’t know what she might be thinking now about Cherry and then me saying yes to her for the p@rty etc.
But I hope she trusts me enough that she doesn’t have to think otherwise. Lunch was done and we headed back to office.
We had a busy work schedule today so somehow we managed to wra-p up our work and headed home to get re-ady for the evening p@rty.
I was planning to get a dress for my Dove but she told me that she has alre-ady got one from Estelle.
I am actually looking forward to see her in the p@rty. She looks so beautiful in a dress and I always admire her beauty. I am so damn lucky to have her.

Everyone sang as Ashton was cutting his birthday cake. The twins were grinning while standing along with Estelle and Ashton.
My parents stood there happily towards their right while me and Scarlet stood towards their left. Ph0tos were taken of our memorable moments.
Guests were still gathering around and wishing birthday boy. Ray, Taylor, Derek, Cherry as well as Mr. and Mrs. Hope were also standing along with us.
Media crews were strictly restricted for access inside house and as expected there were gossips going around about everyone.
Discussions about Cherry were also going on. I had alre-ady re-leased a statement yesterday itself regarding our relationsh!p.
It clearly mentioned that we have forgiven each other and moving on in our lives by staying friends.
Well for media it was a h0t t©pic and they’ve been super excited for today’s p@rty to get more ex-posure on the story.
Cherry was being nice with everyone in my family. Since my families are forgiving types they welcomed her and made her feel comfortable. It was time for slow dancing for couples.
The twins brou-ght Estelle and Ashton at the center of the floor and soft music started to fill in the whole room.
After few minutes couples started to gather around in the center but the sp©t light was on Ashton & Estelle while the twins were slow dancing towards their right side.
Cherry c@m£ and requested me to dance with her; I was a bit hesitant because I wanted to dance first with my Love. But before I could say No to her, she pu-ll-ed me towards the center area where everyone was slow dancing.
One by one everyone joined us with their respective p@rtners in the center, Ray with Taylor and Derek with one of the guest.
Then from my peripheral vision I saw Vince asking Scarlet and they both joined.
I immediately excused myself from Cherry and gave her hand to Derek. Derek and Cherry danced together while I went to get my girl.
I tapped on Vince’s shoulder, they both looked at me.
I took her hand and pu-ll-ed her onto me. Step by step, we started dancing together.
“Are you jealous?” She asked while looking at me with raised eyebrows.
“Of course not…” I said calmly.
She smiled at my reply because she knows me very well. Yes I am jealous. I cannot help it.
All of them were very happy and enjoyed our p@rty. I could also see that my world is perfect now. There is nothing more than this that I want to wish for now.
I have my family and I have my Dove in my arms. I looked into her pretty eyes and then at her luscious redl-ips. I k!$$£d her gently and she smiled while k!ss!ngme back.
“I want you to move in with me in my house.”
“Alex…I…”
“I miss you so much and its better you stay with me in my house at least I know that you’re safe and ….I…
I Love you!
I love you Dove. plea-se listen to me and stay with me.”
“I love you too.” She replied with a bright smile and all her cheeks turned red. My god, this feeling is so crazy.
I am so happy right now. We k!$$£d once again.
Then suddenly her face showed some concern and she looked at me.
“What about Lorry? She’ll be alone in the ap@rtment.”
She asked.
“I have alre-ady discussed it with Taylor; she will be staying with her parents from now on. They are our neighbors as well so you can meet her anytime.”
“Okay.”
Perfect. That’s what I felt like right now.
I k!$$£d her forehead then she rested her head on my che-st, arms around my n£¢k while I held her around the w@!st and we moved along the slow music while taking small steps accordingly.
My world is in my arms and I want to make her happy all her life.
“Love you Scarlet.”
Cherry’s Pov~~~
At the p@rty,
Alexi gave my hand to Derek and walked towards that bit-ch.
That bit-ch always pu-lls him like a magnet towards her.
Why?
What is it that she has which I don’t have?
O God! Why am I comparing myself with her? Cherry you are more beautiful, more capable and more deserving than her. And you will make him realize all of these qualities of you sooner.
Then I saw them k!ss!ngeach other.
I couldn’t take it, a pang of jealousy hit me but right then I noticed a person standing a bit far away behind them with an expression which matched mine.
My question is who is that tall guy, he was with Scarlet a few minutes back and they were dancing together?
There is something about him. The way he looks at her…..
Definitely there is something.
Oh yes!!!!!! There is something between them. If not, then I will ensure that something do happen between them.
I nee-d to find out about that guy. Ditching Derek I moved towards the tall guy. He was still standing there and staring at Scarlet & Alexi.
Boldly I stood in front of him and asked him with a smile,
“Hey, can I have a dance with you?”
“Oh sure…” He said and gently took hold of my hand and moved towards the center floor. Bingo.
We started moving in sync and then I asked him first,
“What is your name?”
“Vince D’costa. You are?”
“Cherry.”
He smiled.
“Well, are you an employee of Pearce Industry?”
“I am an ex-employee and currently working at Harlow Industry.”
We had small talks at first and then gradually I got to know what I wanted to know. He harbors some sweet fluttery feelings for that bit-ch.
I mean come on…..even this guy is un-der her spell. What kind of a magic spell does she apply on them all? Oh my, is she a witch and a bit-ch both?
Witchy-bit-ch!
Well, this Vince guy can be a very helpful person to get my Alexi back.
Cherry you nee-d to make a full proof plan.
I smiled and laughed along with him and now we are kind of good friends.
We st©pped dancing and walked towards the garden area. Both of us sat on the bench and admired the lightings around us.
“Vince…if you don’t mind can I ask you something? He nodded in response for me to continue.
“Why didn’t you try ha-rder?” I turned towards him and asked.
“What do you mean?” He asked me confused.
“I mean ….what you did was not a crime. You just had confessed your feelings for Scarlet and she just had to reply a yes or a no. But before she could answer you, Alexi landed a punch on you.
So there might be a possibility that she had liking towards you at that time. Don’t you think? “I asked him curiously.
“Maybe… But now things are different and she is with Alexander.” He said thoughtfully.
“But even if she is with Alexi currently, I know for the fact that they have not confessed their feelings to each other yet.
So maybe she isn’t sure about him…..so maybe you still have a chance to show your true feelings to her and win her heart.
I am just saying…..you know!” I said my thoughts out loud to him. He looked at me for a moment and then realized what I meant.
A small smile crept across his face and then said,
“I actually never thought about it this way. You just have given me a small hope that maybe I still have a chance with her.
I can show her how much I love her, Thank you Cherry. It’s really nice meeting you.”
I was more than happy now, as my plan has worked out.
I just wanted to make him realize that he still have chance so that he take Scarlet away from Alexi and that’s when I can show how much I love my Alexi, win back his heart and make him mine. Forever…..
“You are welcome.” I uttered to him and gave him a wi-de smile.
I mentally stated,
From now on everything is going to be interesting.
Alexi, Baby you are going to be mine!
