**CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT**

” Miss!, Miss” the attendant called, shaking her unconscious b©dy but got no answer
“Call an ambulance” another attendant said behind her
An ambulance c@m£ in a jiffy and she was carried away in it
She was admitted in an hospital and the attendant by the name Bora stayed with her throu-ghout
Her foot was treated and her n£¢k too..

Richa-rd went straight to the beach with Stacey and they really had a nice time
Stacey wasted no time in wearing her ex-posing bikini but Richa-rd doesn’t seem to like it
“Hey why that face* She said
” The bikini, it’s too ex-posing” he replied simply
“Oh, that?, But everyone wears it these days” she replied
“I’m d@t!ngStacey, not everyone” he replied
” But Richa-rd …
“Ok , I’m not interested in this outing again, I’m going back home” he said
Everything about her, he finds it unappealing and awkward, uncomfortable too
And also, that face kept appearing in his memory so much that it disturbs
He’s beginning to have a slight headache…
“Why?, You suggested we come to the beach right?” Stacey said
” And I’m saying right now that…I’m having headache” he replied, holding his head
“Oh my God, you’re having an High temperature!” Stacey exclaimed, feeling his forehead with the back of her palm
His temp is h0t
“Let’s go home” he said and led the way to the car
But few meters away from the car, he fell when the headache bec@m£ unbearable, he fainted
“Richa-rd !, Richa-rd !, Richa-rd wake up!” Stacey shouted but no answer
She managed to carry him into the car and she drove to the nearest hospital…
Some tests were run before he got admitted
*He’s having retrograde amnesia right?” The doctor said
” Amnesia?, I never knew” she replied
“Now you know miss, he’s having retrograde amnesia and with the look of things, it won’t take long before he regains his memory, that’s the reason for the headache you said he complained about” the doctor said
Stacey sat beside him in the ward and held his hand
“So you have amnesia?, And you never told me” she said sadly
” Just wake up soon” she said

Snow opened her eyes and without trying to know where she is, she stood up from the be-d
“The doctor said you can’t walk with your foot for all of today, else the pains will return in folds, so plea-se l@yon the be-d quietly” Bora said
” The attendant?” Snow said
“Yes, I’m Bora” she replied
” You brou-ght me here”
” Yes, you pas-sed out” Bora replied
” Thanks Bora, but if I stay in Busan for an hour more, I might die, I nee-d to go back to Seoul” she replied , limping out ,
” But your foot…
“I can withstand the pain, thanks Bora” she replied and continued limping out
She met her car outside
“I brou-ght it here” Bora said
“Thanks,I really appreciate, I hope we meet again” she said and entered the car
She drove out of Busan, crying throu-ghout her drive
It hurts to see that you’ve been forgotten, it hurts a lot!
She got home late and met her family waiting in the living room
“Snow how’s he!” Pink said first
“Daughter,did you meet him?” Evelyn asked impatiently
Snow looked at Gabriel hurtfully
” Your plans to ruin me succeeded, call back your search squad” she said simply
” Why?” Evelyn asked
She let out her tears
” I saw him, Griffin’s university in Busan but……he has another girl now, I’ve been forgotten” she said with a teary face
” Madam Ella gave me some amount of money back then, she told me to give it back, the money you gave her for the boutique, it’s in your room” Pink said
” Sure, she must have been disappointed” Snow replied
” And …. Due to the words you said to Richa-rd back then, he got into an accident, a bad one” Pinky said
Snow cried more
” That’s enough reason for him to hate me, I won’t disturb him but…I just hope I won’t die or go mad cos…. without him,. I’m useless” she said and went upstairs
” Gabriel what are you gonna do?, Gabriel how are you gonna fix this, bring back my daughter, she’s lost, just fix all these will you?” Evelyn said
Gabriel sat dejectedly on the couch, thinking of ways to fix things…

Busan**
Ella entered Richa-rd ‘s ward and met him on the be-d with Stacey beside him
“My world!” She screamed and hvgged him on the be-d
” What happened Stacey?”
” He complained of headache and the next thing I saw is that he fainted” she replied
” My precious Richa-rd , nothing is happening right?” Ella said worriedly
” So he has amnesia” Stacey said
Ella heaved heavily
“Yes, he lost his memory after an accident in Seoul” she replied
” Oh, I see” Stacey replied
“What did the doctor say?” Ella asked
“That he’ll be regaining his memory back soon” Stacey replied
“What!* Ella exclaimed
“It’s the best” Drake said, entering the ward
“It’s not the best Drake, absolutely not the best” Ella said fearfully
Drake faced Stacey
” If you love your heart, break up with him first before he does, cos when he regains his memory, he’ll surely not listen to anyone” he said
” Drake plea-se” Ella said
” What do you mean” Stacey said
“He has a girlfriend… and have you ever heard about mad, crazy, insane, immense love?, Undying love?, Everlasting love ?, That’s what the true definition of their love is, back off plea-se, it’s for your own good” Drake said
” Drake shut up!!” Ella shouted
“I won’t shut up mummy!, I un-derstand you’re trying to protect this family but it’s getting a little bit too much mum, why do you have to f0rç£ him to d@t£ Stacey when you know that even in his amnesia state, he still sees Snow’s face” Drake said
Ella stood, watching him
First time he has ever talked back at her
“Drake do you know how much tears I shed when he had the accident?, Do you know how heartbroken and sad I was?, Drake you know nothing!” Ella said
” And I was sad and heartbroken too!, I cried a lot too mum, not only you so mum, st©p this!” He shouted, tears coming out of his eyes
He ran out of the ward afterwards
Ella sat on a stool and cried
Stacey looked on in awe, trying to put the shattered conversation together maybe she’ll get something…

Snow stared at the only bottle of Nobles wine left in her wardrobe and smiled
“I hope I die after drinking this, life is ugly and miserable without him” she thought
She stared at her phone on the be-dstand
She got it and stared at their pictures for long
“No matter what happens, you’ll always be the apple of my eye, you’ll always be my world and my baby, I love you very much Richa-rd , I’m glad you’re happy with another girl but sad at the same time that I lost you…I’m sorry I won’t be seeing you again, except if we meet in the afterlife” she said and k!$$£d him from the phone
She dropped it and took the wine
She opened it and gulped it all down her throat at a go
She doesn’t have to wait much, the headache and stomachache started badly
And when the bleeding started, her nose, ears, mouth did the job, she layed in her own pool of blood and lost consciousness…

“She’s not coming out still” Evelyn said to Pink who’s sitting at Snow’s doorstep
” Yes, and I’m scared, I’m thinking she’s slee-ping cos I can’t hear anything but can Snow sleep at a time like this?” Pinky said
“get the spare key in the basement” Evelyn said
” I even forgot that” Pinky said and ran to get it
She brou-ght it and what they saw after opening the door almost took air away from their lungs
“Snow!!!!” Evelyn screamed
Pink fainted immediately

The interns and doctors of The White’s family hospital are all running in and out of the emergency ward, two lives are at state
Two daughters of the White’s family
Snow lost much blood alre-ady and she has been given much shocks but she’s not responding
Same with Pinky, she seems lifeless
Evelyn can’t be consoled
Gabriel cried bitterly too
This is just too bitter a pill to swallow..
“God plea-se, save my daughters, save Snow save Pink, I beg you, Lord have mercy on me” Evelyn prayed
” I promise to set things straight if only you can give back my daughters, I promise to do anything to bring the two brothers back, I promise to make things right” Gabriel said in tears
The emergency room door opened and the doctors c@m£ out one by one
“It’s miraculous but thankfully they’re both back, though they’re both not stable yet but they’re back” one of the doctors said
“ma, sir, if eventually Snow wakes up, make sure she won’t take even a sip of the wine plea-se, a sip of the wine will kill her now, I’m serious, that’s why I’m saying this right now, her condition is serious a bit..but she’ll be fine” the other doctor said
“Pink fainted as a result of big shock though it seems she’ll wake soon but keep her away from shocks, it’s lethal to her health” the first doctor said…
” Yes doctor, thanks very much, I’m very grateful” Evelyn replied
“I nee-d to get to Busan” Gabriel said
” For?’
“I caused all this so I should be the one to correct it” he said and left….

Drake entered Richa-rd ‘s ward and carefully put the drawing un-der his blanket
He wrote some things in it though
Ella went home to actually bring him a change of clothes
He sighed after successfully putting it un-der his blanket
“I hope you remember, it’ll really help” he said before leaving the ward

Richa-rd woke up like someone in a trance, he actually saw the face in his dreams again and more surprisingly, the drawing of her is right beside him on his be-d but something is written on it..
*She’s Snow White, your baby that you’re madly in love with, the one who jilted you for Ace… don’t you remember her now?*
“Snow White, Snow White, snow White” that name echoed in his head
He looked at the picture again and held his head
*If you leave me, I’ll drink Nobles wine and bleed to death” a voice said
He held his head ti-ghter
” Just trust me, I love you very much baby” that same voice said
“My head” he said, standing up
He bent on his knees as the rush of memories c@m£ back
It c@m£ all at once
Tears escaped his eyes
“Snow!!!” He screamed hurtfully, remembering everything
Ella entered that same time
“Richa-rd , Richa-rd ”
He stood
“Why didn’t you tell me who she is when I drew her face” he said
” Richa-rd …
“Mum why did you lie to me!”
“You got back your memory?”
“Mum why didn’t you tell me she’s Snow, why?” He said again
“Richa-rd listen to your mum and…
He started heading out of the ward
“I’m going back to Seoul” he said
“Richa-rd if I am your mother, you can’t go there!, You once choose that girl over me and now you want to do that again?, Richa-rd do you even see me as your mother?” She said
” Mum I love her, even if she did all that, I still love her insanely, mum…
“Richa-rd plea-se, can’t we just live happily here?, Richa-rd plea-se” Ella begged
” Mum…
” Just do this for your mum plea-se, I don’t want anything bad to happen to you” she said
He bent down and let out more tears
” Snow ” he muttered amidst the tears…
