📞Coral?
A thick voice came from the other side to her phone.
Coral sighed and stood up from the b£d, where she had been sitting. She looked back at the other ringing phone which happened to be May’s. She tapped May briefly before walking out.
📞 What do you want? I told you never and ever to call me again!
Coral almost yelled but retained herself.
📞 Just give me a chance okay? Let me come into your life. I know you have no place to stay. I can help you.
Coral breathed heavily before replying.
📞 You are insane, Evans. Are you nuts? You want me to come into your life after what you did to me? Should I remind you?
📞 What?
Evans voice was low now.
📞 You are married. So, act like a married man! You goal right now is to have a happy marriage and make smart kids not chase around with their ex…
📞 What? What did you say?
He laughed.
📞 This is my final warning! If you call me again. I won’t take it slightly with you. I’m gonna make sure I ruin your fu-cking life. It’s gonna be even since you ruined mine as well
Evans gulped and quickly cut the call. Coral inhaled de-eply and took her phone down. She was breathing fast and she looked like a scared cat.
“Damn it. Why does he have to give me an heart attack this late?” Coral thought silently.
She slowly walked into the room and still met May still slee-ping. She looked at her ringing phone on the table and scoffed.
“What’s wrong with her? I thought I woke her before leaving. She really enjoys slee-ping, huh? Won’t she pick her phone or what? Huh…It’s even her mum calling” Coral shook her head.
She kept her phone close to May’s phone and sle-pt close to her. She tapped her again and May reacted by turning to the other side.
“May, you nee-d to wake up” Coral said.
“What…what do you want?” May muttered, un-der her sleep.
“Your mum is calling-
“Leave me alone, plea-se. Lemme sleep” Her voice muttered out.
“She’s really a sleepy kind of person. I mean, take a look at her” Coral thought and chuckled.
Afterwards, She sle-pt.
The Next Morning, 6am***
“Wakey, Wakey Everyone. Let’s start cooking!” Raymond announced throu-gh the inner speakers.
Coral was the first to wake up. She woke May woke but she only woke up after minutes of calling and tapping.
“It’s time to work, let’s go” Coral said.
“Yippee! Can’t believe I’m a worker now” May smiled.
“Good luck” Coral wi-nked.
“By the way, who told you I work here now?” May asked.
Coral chuckled.
“Ray walked in here this morning to wake you up. He explained you were now working here. However, I told him to leave,, that I would wake you”
“Oh,, okay” May nodded.
“And…also, we have another worker, a colleague, apparently”
“Who’s that?”
Coral smiled.
“Ryder”
“What?!”
Raymond & Ryder’s Room***
Ryder opened his eyes and looked around. He noticed the unusual heaviness on his leg and he looked down.
He noticed that he had a bandage and a wood for support added to his leg. He also noticed a paper tucked in the bandage.
Ryder smiled and took it out. He opened the message and re-ad it.
*Rest till you get better. Your leg nee-ds to be in good shape before you start working for me. Call me incase you nee-d anything*
Ryder chuckled.
“What’s wrong with this guy? Acting so unusual and nice all of the sudden. Anyways, it feels good”

“For now, May. You don’t nee-d to cook because you know nothing Italian crusines. All you nee-d to do is to serve customers, okay?” Raymond said.
May smiled and nodded.
“Don’t worry, I will”
“You just have to learn when its time”
“There wouldn’t be a problem”
“Anyone here! We wanna order!!” A voice said aloud from outside.
“Guess we have an order. You can take it from here” Raymond said.
May smiled brightly and nodded. She walked out of him and went to where she was called.
Raymond gave a small smile and went to the pot where the the broth was boiling.
“Ray?” He heard Coral call from behind.
He smiled warmly before turning.
“Yes?” He answered.
Coral looked around and faced him again.
“I thought Ryder was around. I also thought he was gonna work with us”
“Huh? Ryder?…Ah…yeah. Uhm…Ryder’s not quite well. So, he isn’t gonna start with us. He’s gonna start as soon as he gets better”
“Wait. It’s his leg, right?” Coral asked.
Raymond nodded.
“Yeah…but how did you know?”
Coral looked down and sighed de-eply.
“I noticed he was hurt. When May pushed him then, he fell with great for-ce and ha-rdness that his leg began to hurt. He just didn’t want May to know. So, he hid it from her”
“Oh goodness. You don’t have to worry. He’s gonna be fine”
May who was about entering the kitchen after serving the customers heard their conversation.
“Oh no…Ryder” She g@sped, and closed her surprised opened mouth with her palm.
“What have i done now?” She thought and ran upstairs.

Ryder was eating chips from its pack when he heard a knock. He tilted his ne-ck like he would see the person if he did so.
“Come in” He finally said.
May inhaled and exhaled de-eply before walking in. She saw Ryder on the b£d with his bandaged leg.
Ryder quickly put his leg down to avoid her gaze from reaching it. However, it was too late. She had seen it alre-ady.
“Owww” Ryder whimpered when he hid his leg.
May looked down sadly and walked up to him. She slowly took his leg and la-id it back on the b£d. She sat down close to him on the b£d as well.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” She almost sobb£d.
“About?”
“Stop acting clueless. I did that to you”
“Is that why you wanna cry? I’m fine, okay”
“Stop acting strong”
“Okay…Okay…I won’t. But still, don’t act weak in front of me. I don’t wanna be the bad guy”
“I’m….sorry” May muttered.
“…It’s fine. I’m gonna get better” Ryder smiled.
May sniffed and Ryder pu-lled her closer. He quickly hu-gged her. He broke the hu-g and looked into her eyes.
“What was that for?” She whispered.
“I deserve a hu-g,, don’t you think so?” Ryder smiled.
“What?”
“I’m your hu-gger, have you forgotten?”
“My…hu-gger?…Hold on,, are you that teddy? the hu-ge bear who hu-gged me, and even consoled me. You bought a hu-ge lolli-pop for me as well”
Ryder nodded.
“I can see you never forgot about me. It’s a relief”
“Like seriously? Is that person you? It means you have been following since that time-
Ryder coughed.
“You had better leave now. Go work. Remember you got things to cover up with money. And my 140 million dollars is also a p@rt”
May scoffed and stood up.
“You thought I forgot, didn’t you? It’s 120 million dollars! And don’t worry, I’m gonna pay all of it”
Ryder chuckled and gave her a thumbs up. May smiled but let out a sighed afterwards.
“Anyways, I’m really sorry. Hope I’ve been forgiven?”
“Even before you asked, I’ve forgiven you”
“That’s a relief. Anyways, get well soon. I’m off”
Ryder nodded. May waved to him and walked out.
“Such a cutie” He whispered, and smiled brightly.
“She really reminds me of her… They even have the same name, May” He thought.
Night Fall***
“So, everyone” Raymond said to all the workers and his employers.
“We have new ones with us and I hope you can treat me warmly and evenly. She’s May and there’s one upstairs. He’s Ryder”
“Oh…That handsome chef from that day?” One of the waitress said.
“Huh….yeah. Anyways, Let’s give help and as-sist them. I don’t want anyone giving them a cold shoulder, is that clear?”
“Yes sir!” They all shouted.
“Also, everyone knows Coral, right?” Raymond said.
They all nodded.
“She’s also p@rt of us” Raymond said.
“We know that!” They said, in unison.
“Okay. Meeting is over. You can all go. Have a nice night”
“You too, boss!!”
They all bowed and left.
Raymond smiled, folded his arms and turned to Coral and May.
“Let’s go upstairs. There’s something I wanna say to all of us…four of us” He said.
“Where are we meeting?” Coral asked.
“My room…I and Ryder’s room, rather. Anyways, follow me” Raymond replied.
Coral followed while May scoffed loudly. Raymond heard this and turned back to see her standing down, instead of following him.
“What are you doing? Let’s go” Raymond said.
Suddenly, May’s phone rang before she could even reply. She took it out from her jean trou-sers and looked at its screen. She sighed de-eply and looked back at them.
“You guys can go. I’m gonna be right up. Firstly, I gotta pick this call” She said.
They nodded and went upstairs. May sighed de-eply, and walked outside. She picked the call after few seconds and placed the phone close to her ear.
