♡Mrs Dayo♡
I never believed that my husband will ever say no to any of my de-sires, though I failed him first but he should consider my tears.
That his statements reminded me of my past and how I got married to him, I never believed that i will be his wife but his mother kept encouraging me that nothing good comes easy.
With the help of his mum we conquered his father who vowed that his son won’t stoop so low to marry a commoner like me.
It was just like a dream the day his father called me and blessed me with tears,”u are the best for my son and he has proven it, never let him down. Go ahead and make good home with my son”he said and I bec@m£ the happiest woman ever.
All those memories c@m£ back to me and I felt more guilt of rejecting Vera at the first place.
We got to the hospital and met Vera, her parents, one man that was there the other day we c@m£ she introduced to us as Mr Ben and my son Robert who was kneeling down with tears.
“What’s happening here pls?”my husband asked as we stepped inside the hospital with our securities.
“Dad! plea-se have mercy on me, I can’t live with Vera and my kids”Robert cried but Dayo gave order to his securities to take him out of the hospital.
The drove him away like an outcast, I felt for him because i contributed for what is happening to him.

Love is irresistible, u can hide every other thing but not when love is involved.
Robert was ordered out by his father, he cried like a kid and i felt for him, tears rushed down my cheeks. Robert maltreated me yes, but we can’t tell our heart whom to love and when to love.
I tried hiding my feelings from them but my heart was bleeding on pain, I stood up with tears to plead on his behalf but my dad warned me to be careful if i still want him as my father.
s£nator Dayo, his wife and Mr Ben esc-rted me and my kids to my parents’ new house with their securities, I felt bossy ones in my life.
I was served and was drove around like a s£nator’s daughter, the serene never st©pped till we arrived my parent’s house.
“Vera u made me proud and i will never let u down! This kids here are mine and i will be taking good care of them.
The other car there (pointing at CR-V model Toyota) is for u and ny children here”s£nator Dayo said giving me the car key.
My mouth was filled with gratitude and praises to Dayo, his wife was ashamed of herself as she kept mopping like a moron.

♡Vera♡
After two months
Living without seeing Robert is never easy for me, I don’t know how he got my number but he calls me often and on crying for forgiveness. I always told him that i don’t have anything against him, just that i want to be alone and enjoy my single motherhood with peace of mind.
“I know I have done what u never thought I will ever do to u but recall the first love we both have for each other. Vera I still nee-d u in my life” he kept pleading but my answers remained the same. “I don’t think it will ever be possible”.
When he noticed that I have made up my mind to move on with my life he changed the t©pic to seeing me. He kept asking me when he will come to see me and to have my destination address, I refused at first place but later gave him the address because it never easy for me.
♡Robert♡
I was chased like an outcast out of the hospital, I cried bitterly because I was left with nothing but the house and the car I was driving. My kids, companies and my wife were deprived from me. I went to Vera’s room one afternoon and saw her pack of phone, I equally saw her sim pack and copied her phone number from there and started calling her.
Vera is not re-ady to forgive me but i won’t live without her, how can i allow another man to take over what belongs to me?
I tried to get her mother’s number and convinced her with many promises of change.
She promised to speek to Vera but she never get back to me with a positive answer, I would have like to speek with her father but am afraid of that man.
The day finally c@m£, Vera accepted that i should come over to their house, I planned on how to surprise her but c@m£ up with a plan of buying gift for her father instead.
I reached their house and met two security men outside the gate, they st©pped me there till they confirmed with Vera to allow me in.
I know my dad was the person behind all those plans but i didn’t blamed him.
Vera later allowed me in when I spent more than an hour outside the gate waiting for her replies.
I went in and met that man she called Ben in the hospital again de-eply discussing with her. Showing my envious nature implies that i don’t want to stay in that house because she will just throw me out.
I was about leaving when I called my driver to bring the surprise and he did.
“Dad, to show u my sincere apology and humility, I offer u this car for u to accept me again as ur own son”I said as i gave him the key

♡s£nator Dayo♡
My wife never sleep, her cries t©uçhed me, though she disappointed me but she remains my wife and to make a peaceful home, we have to be considerate.
I decided to call Mr Okoro (Vera’s father) so that we can discuss on how to reunite those children of ours but his call woke me the next day. He told me how Robert has been coming to their house and pleading to them to forgive and accept him back, I asked him what his take is and he said that he has forgiven him.
“He equally bought a car for me and promised to pay for all the hatred he had harboured on Vera and anyone” Mr Okoro said from the other end of the phone.
I was overwhelmed with joy but didn’t want my joy to be visible with my wife because she caused it all, she supported that son of hers and that was why he kept adamant in loving Vera at the first place.
“It’s okay Mr Okoro, we will come by next week so we can discuss closely”I replied and hung the call.
I promised My wife that i will see what I can do about that, it limited her disturbances to me but never st©pped her from reminding me of my promise, she calls Vera almost steady.
I bec@m£ convinced that they have changed, I called Vera and we discussed like father and daughter.

I was dying silently for Robert, I was waiting for a day dad will forgive him and it finally c@m£, he called me one night and started with his usual proverbs.
He said many things and ended up asking me to accept Robert back since he has realise his mistakes. I kept calm for a while before smiling happily.
“I still love him dad and watching these kids reminds me of him because they copied him in everything”I said with joy.
“They are coming tomorrow to ask for ur hands in marriage and perform all the marriage rite as required by the tradition” he said and I chuckled with joy.
“Really?” I asked happily.
“Yeah, s£nator called me”he added.
He called me also but he didn’t tell me anything about that, well I can’t wait to be Robert’s wife forever. The joy carried me to Mr Ben, I explained everything to him and he was happy about that, Ben never planned marrying me, all he wanted was the best for me and I do want the best for him too.
The owner of the car he was driving has seized it and i made him (Ben) my personal driver, s£nator Dayo is paying him and am also supporting him with the little I could.
I s£nt his two daughters back to school and pays their school fees.

♡Robert♡
I was like shouting for joy when my dad called me that he has accepted my apologies but on one condition, I was re-ady to take any conditions to make sure that Vera is mine.
“Dad, just mention what it will take and i will go for it”I as-sured him.
“Good, I know that Vera loves u even when u were maltreating her, she always talks about u and will accept u anytime I ask her to do so but are u going to love her like ur wife?” He asked and i smiled, is that the condition?
“Dad,loving Vera is my primary duty from the day I realised my mistakes, so that won’t be a problem”I answered with boldness.
“I do trust u before but not anymore Robert, my lawyer will be at Vera’s place with us tomorrow, do have a great day”he added and hung the call.
Why is this man ma-king the whole things look like am still the Robert that maltreated Vera?
Am now a changed person for crying out loud.
I didn’t wait for the next day, I called Vera more than ten times before the day, we talk and laughed together, Vera really loves me and i messed it up with my callous attitude.

My twins were 3minths gone, they were looking so cute and mature like 6months children. They remains my joy and the fruit of all my suffering, I always remember them and smile with tears of joy.
I tried and rented and ap@rtment for Mr Ben, I bought new car for him so he car focus on his own family and st©p been dependent on anyone.
He bec@m£ our family friends, my mum wished he was my husband and same to my father, yes, I started liking Mr Ben but i still love Robert.
The day finally c@m£, everyb©dy were seated, s£nator Dayo’s lawyer was with us and many other friends of his, Robert c@m£ with his friend Val.
I knew Val back in the village when the c@m£ for their service, he was Robert’s closest friend, I recognized him because of his funny jokes. I like Val but never knew he was living in Enugu state.
The marriage rite was done according to our tradition, everything went smoothly and peacefully.
After the marriage rite, the tradition wedding and white wedding were scheduled.
“Here is my lawyer Barr. Jacob”s£nator Dayo introduced his lawyer to us.
“Thank u all, am here to pres£nt and re-ad the will of Hon. s£n. Alex Dayo as he instructed”the barrister said and the whole arena bec@m£ calm like a grave yard.
How can he say his will while he is still alive?
Robert was still, Mrs Dayo was mopping like a moron while I was confused

♡Author’s POV♡
It pays to do good to someone because good thing must locate u too, whatsoever a man sow that he shall reap.
s£nator Dayo directed all his wills to his grand children saying that what belongs to them belongs to their father (Robert) and mother (Vera). Many people thought he did the wrong thing till he explained his reasons, “I can’t afford leaving these kids in a low life because Robert might change at any giving time. Am directing all my possessions to them because they can never deny their father but their father might deny them because of what he did to Vera earlier” he stated.

I was the happiest woman ever lived in the world, Robert was excited by his father’s decision and that made every other persons so proud of him (Robert).
“My greatest regard is going to my father who taught me how to love again, he trained me though I saw it as maltreatment but i learnt my lessons from that, I won’t forget my amiable wife whom God blessed with beauty and stainless heart, Vera I will never love u less. Val is the best friend anyone will ever wish to have, he never st©pped advising me to take Vera as my wife, thanks my brother from another mother. Mum, (reffering to his mum) u deceived me even when u wanted the best for me, I love u so much mum, u stood by my side when we realised our mistakes and fought with me to have what belongs to us.
I won’t leave my in-laws behind, they are such golden hearted in-law anyone can pray to have, as u accept me back, I will never let u all down”Robert said with tears streaming down his eyes.
“That’s m y son talking!”s£nator Dayo shouted proudly.
“I love u all and won’t st©p been the best wife to my wonderful husband here, he….”I wasn’t able to complete my statement, tears interupted and i hvgged Robert so ti-ghtly.
There was an applaud as if they planned the hvg, I felt the heartbeat of the guy that stole my heart right from the first sight in my village.
I never let Robert regret ever marrying me nor treats his mum bad because of her rejection, NO! I made sure that she regretted all her actions back then by proving her wrong with my good character.
Robert was called back to his office as a manager while my son remain the CEO of both companies.
We lived happily as one and had no regret in our marriage.
