I dropped Melinda at their home but she refuses to come down, God plea-se save me from this girl. The next thing i know, she’s hvgging me ti-ght, what am i gonna do?
I hope Audrey doesn’t see us like this, arrrrgh, why do i even care if she sees us like this? Melinda is right, i should make her my girlfriend, she deserves to be. I mean surely, i like her a lot.
She’s cool and fun to be with, the whole school even thinks we’re a thing so why not just make it official?
“Melly” i called.
“plea-se just let me stay like this” she mumbles.
“I. Have. A. Request” i said breaking my words, okay George why the hell are you nervous?
She looked up at me unsure of what to say, “Which is?”
“i know it’s not the best place, or time but will you say yes?”
Great you Idiot! Your pick up line is awful. You’re so unro-mantic.
“say yes to what?” she asked with curiosity.
“Melinda McCoy, will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?” i said and breath out slowly.
Her expression changed, her eyes beamed with joy as a big smile formed across her face,
“are you for real?” she asked.
“yeah”
“OMG! Yes, of course i’ll be your girlfriend George!” she said hvgging me. Girls and their drama, Melinda is quite a drama queen though.
“Great! Good, am so glad” i said.
“So am i”
“so, would you like us to celebr@te our ‘thing’ today?”
“really?”
“yes, i was thinking of taking you out” i answered.
“sure! When?” she asked.
“six on the dot”
“Okay! I’ll be re-ady!” she said happily, and immediately gave me a warm k!ss.
“ummm…Okay” i mumbled.
She got down from the car and blew me a k!sswhich i returned, so much drama for today.
I watched her go inside the house, she keeps looking back and smiling, i would also smile back.
Immediately she’s out of sight, i drove out and i met her again.
She’s looking so beautiful in the blue bu-m shorts, white armless t©p and white sneakers.
Relax George, you’ve got a girlfriend now, st©p drooling.
She waves at me with a smile and i waved back till i got to where she is.

Once we get home, i run to my room and jump on my be-d using the pillow to cover my head.
Today is so not a good day, it’s events keep repla-ying in my head. Diana is heretic, Summer is a witch, that means am also a witch? Argggh!
I nee-d to go out and clear my head!
I quic-kly rushed into the bathroom, had a rush shower, then dressed up.
I wore a white armless t©p, blue bu-m shorts and white sneakers.
I took my phone and some money and headed out, i met Mark in the living room watching T.V.
“whoa! You’re looking so sweet tweeny, what’s the occasion?” he asked.
I rolled my eyes, “whatever, am just going out to clear my head”
“wow! That’s great! Are you finally thinking of having a b©yfri£nd?” he tea-sed and i raised my middle f!nger.
“fv¢k you” i said and went out.
So, where exactly am i going to? I was about walking when i saw a car coming towards me. Oh it’s George, the cute guy from school. I waved at him and he waved back, then he st©pped in front of me.
“hey” he said.
“ummm…hi” i replied.
“going somewhere?”
“yeah… I mean not really…i just wanna… Tour… Clear my head… And…I don’t even know where am going” i stuttered nervously. Why am i even nervous, he’s just a regular guy.
He arched a brow, “Okay? Mind if we tour together?”
Is he asking me out? No he isn’t, he’s just… Am such an idiot.
“yeah thanks”
He opened the door and i got in, then he started to drive away to God knows where.
We kept stealing glances at each other, i don’t know why i agreed to follow him but i actually like it though.
He drove around a lot of places, L.A is quite beautiful. Lots of things and places to explore.
He finally st©pped in front of a big flower garden, “so we are here”
“here we are” i replied.
We got down and he held my hand again, those bu-tterflies, i felt them again. How is he ma-king me feel this way?
We saw a table with two chairs surrounded by flowers. This place is second paradise.
“so, do you like it?”
“it’s beautiful” i said dreamily.
He pu-ll-ed out a chair for me and i sat down, then he did the same and stared intently at me.
“My grandmother owns this place, i come here when am confused about things and wanna clear me head” he said.
“wow, thanks, you do know what is wrong with me” i said and he smiled.
He held my hands again and my heart moved fast, what is he doing to me?.
“i have never brou-ght a girl here before but i feel you’re a special girl, that’s why i brou-ght you here” he said and i turned to tomato stew because of my blu-shing.
“so, to ease your confusion, would you like to share?”
“you won’t wanna hear”
“i would like to bear” he said and we both laugh at the rhymes.
He stared at me, more like a ro-mantic or admiring gaze, i blu-shed and looked away but he brou-ght my face back to him.
Next thing, he started bringing his face foward and i couldn’t make a move.

I don’t know why i brou-ght her here but i like it, she’s very beautiful and special.
I moved close to her and i saw the Curiosity in her eyes, i really wanna k!ssher lovelyl-ips but i can’t. I see a piece of thre-ad on her head, i slowly re-moved it and pu-ll-ed back.

Phew!
What a relief! I was beginning to think things, you’re such a moron Audrey. He only tried to help me re-move the little thre-ad on my head.
I guess the thre-ad c@m£ from my clothes.
“So, would you like to see a movie?” he asked.
“ummm… but not today, maybe some other time cos I’ve got a lot of homework to do” i replied even though I’d love to go.
“yeah right” he hit his head, “I’ve got a d@t£ today by six”
Now i can’t express how i feel, i feel like saying yes to watch a movie but i guess am too late. I wonder who his d@t£ is, Melinda?
“it’s Melinda right” i said.
“yeah, we made our relationsh!pa ‘thing’ today” he said and i felt a little jealous.
Why am i jealous? I don’t like boys so he can do whatever he wants.
“Okay” i mumbled, “we should get going now”
“so soon?” he asked like he’s not expecting me to go home.
“yeah… I mean, I’ve got homework…. And chores….. And stories to re-ad… And you know…Stuff” i lied.
“Okay?” he said in a tone of ‘i don’t believe you’, well he’s right, I’m thinking of leaving because i feel…. ummm… JEALOUS.
He stood up and took my hands, argggh… am feeling those bu-tterflies again.
I don’t un-derstand this feeling anymore, i better ask mom.

I feel so bored and tired, no girlfriends yet.
A message popped up on the screen of my phone, wow just when i said am bored.
“hey handsome, it’s pearl, could
we see and you know hangout?”
I replied with a smile, i like this girl.
“Sure pretty, text me your address
and i’ll come pick you up”
She replied
“am at Melinda’s house”
Great! She’s even so close.
“Be there in a minute”
She replied
“Sure <3 :-*”
I giggled and went upstairs, such a funny girl.
I got to my room, picked my car keys, but then i remembered mom seized my credit card a week ago because of too much spending.
Argggh…what do i do?
Right! She always has money kept in her drawer, yes, i am going to her room.
I slowly opened the door and went in, she had our pictures all over the room.
I quic-kly pu-ll-ed the drawers and found some dollars in the last one, what a relief.
I was about to go when i saw something beside the picture frame on the be-dside table.
Chemo pills.
Why would mom keep Chemo pills in the house? Aaah, am just exaggerating.
Maybe it’s for a patient, i dropped it back and went out of the room. This day just got better.

Pearl is super excited, i wonder what’s with her today. Even my sister is acting weird, she cooked for me today and am still in shock.
Just then the doorbell rang and i went to open it,Oh it’s Mark.
“hey” he said with a smile that can melt hearts.
“ummm… hi…. come in” i stuttered nervously.
“I actually c@m£ to pick Pearl up, could you plea-se help me call her?” he said and i felt a sting of jealousy.
“Okay” i said a little disappointed and left to call her.
“Pearl! Someone’s asking for you!” i shouted and fell on the couch.
“HE’S HERE!” I heard her shout.
She c@m£ running down, “Coming!” she said and went to the door.
I can’t stay here, am going to my room.

I took Pearl to a park since that’s where she wanted us to go first. I guess she’s a girl who loves this kinds of things.
I just can’t st©p thinking of those Chemo pills, no matter how ha-rd i try, something doesn’t feel right.
“hey handsome” a voice said and i looked up to see a beautiful and S-xy blonde looking at me se-ductively.
“ummm…hi” i said uncomfortable.
“Am Cas-sidy” she introduced bringing her hand for a handshake.
“Mark” i said with a fake smile.
“I know you, you’re the new h0ttie in school”
“wow… That’s comforting” i said.
“Are you alone?”
“He’s with me” Pearl said from behind holding a tub of ice-cream.
“I didn’t ask you” Cas-sidy yanked.
“Well you know now so shoo away bit-ch” Pearl yelled.
“see you later handsome” she win-ked at me, eyes Pearl and left se-ductively.
I look at Pearl and i see….Jealousy.
Girls, i haven’t even asked her out yet and she’s been over possessive. I am not the type to fall in love but i do treat them the right way. I just want a girlfriend and Nothing more, i guess Audrey and i are having a ha-rd time falling in love.
I really like Pearl a lot, she suits my personality.
“Can we go to the movies?” i asked.
“No” she replied looking away.
“c’mon Pretty, don’t be like this” i begged.
“A bar” she said.
“A bar it is” i said and she smiled.
I held her hand to the car and i saw her really blu-shing as people stared at us like we’re a couple.

I just can’t wait for mom to come back, speaking of mom, she’s been acting strange lately. Like she’s hiding something.
I wonder what it is.
Speaking of which, where is my annoying brother? I took my phone and dialled his number but it’s going to voicemail.
I jumped on my be-d in frustration.
So frustrating.
I have powers, my heart beats fast for someone’s b©yfri£nd… Arrrrgh! Why did i have to come here?

The potion will be completed soon enough, all i have to do is get close to her and pour it in her drink.
She will lose her memory and only remember me as her husband, then we can go away together.
Rosella was very ambitious, she left me and moved on. She forgot about me but marriage is for better and worse.
But it’s all good now, she will only do whatever i want which also means getting the life ring.

“George asked me out”i said happily.
“what? You’re a thing now?”
“Yes, you should be happy for me”
She shook her head, “this is not good”
“What do you mean?” i asked.
“well…”
The doorbell rang.
“he’s here, we’re going to talk later” i said and went out.
“have fun!” i heard her shout.
“sure i will” i shouted back and opened the door to reveal my prince charming looking so h0t with a charming smile.
“you look beautiful” he said and i blu-shed.
“You look charming too” i said.
“shall we?”
“we shall” i said and he took my hand and led me to the car.

It’s a bright Tuesday morning, i can’t really believe am going back to that school.
Yesterday i complained to mom but she said i should manage there for a year before i can change. She even called principal McCoy, and guess what? She pretends like nothing happened.
It’s so frustrating that i have to go back to that school full of witches and wizards and heretics and vampires and whatever.
Okay am exaggerating but it’s true, who knows if I’ll even meet a werewolf today.
“come down alre-ady” i heard my annoying twin say.
“fv¢k you” i say raising my middle f!nger.
“no swearing in my house”
“sorry mom” i apologize and stick out my ton-gue at him.
“so how was your d@t£ yesterday?” Mark teases and mom’s eyes wi-den.
She rushes to me with joy, “oh my dear daughter, am so glad you’re finally accepting someone in your heart”
I look over at Mark who is laughing ha-rd , mom i wish its true but it’s not.
“thanks mom” i decide to pl@yalong.
“so we’ll see later mom” i k!ssher cheeks and run out before she says anything else.
I enter the car and see Melinda and Summer drive past us.
Mark enters the car and drives us to school. School is pretty crowded and busy, everyone is looking at something on their phones, i wonder what it is.
I get down, enter the hallway and go to my locker, whatever it is they are looking at or talking about i don’t care.
“I can’t believe he made their relationsh!pofficial, i always knew those two are meant for each other” a girl pas-sing by says.
“Yes, it’s the trending news now, Melinda and George, the school’s latest and cutest couple” another girl adds.
I swear i don’t un-derstand how i feel right now, is it supposed to have an effect on me? I mean what do i care right? They’re really meant for each other, i have no business with that. I close my locker after taking my English notebook and head to clas-s.
“Audrey” i heard someone call and i turn around to see Diana waving at me with her usual friendly smile.
“hi Diana” i say silently.
“are you okay?” she asks and i nod with a small smile.
We walk to clas-s in silence, suddenly someone pops in front of us. It’s Sebastian, the shy nerd from yesterday. So why is he in our way? Diana doesn’t look like she likes his pres£nce, he is acting strange too.
“hi” he says shyly.
“hello” i reply while Diana scoffs and walksaaway.
“sorry about her” i apologize.
He shrugs, “it’s okay, I’m used to it”
“so…what can i do you for?”
“i… Was thinking maybe…we could be friends…but you might not cos not everyone wanna be friends with me” he stutters nervously.
I feel sorry for him, must be ha-rd when everyone hates you, it’s like the world is against you, then you feel like ‘what the use of living like a corpse?’.
“Sure Sebastian, we can be friends” i say with a smile and he grins wi-dely revea-ling his dimples. “so can we go to clas-s now?”
“yes, yes, this way” he gestures with his hands like a gentleman and i chuckle.
I enter the clas-s and find Melinda sitting on George’s l@ps, okay why is my heart beating like this? What’s with the anger?
I clench my fists and the next thing, Melinda is soa-ked we-t, while George is dry.
Oops! Did i just do that?
“OMG! WHO DID THIS?!” She yells and run out. I can’t believe i just did that to her, Diana and Summer are laughing. I really wanna laugh but guilt is killing me so i control myself. George doesn’t look happy, he’s quite embarras-sed i can tell.
Soon enough, the English teacher comes in, finally something i can do in peace.

What the hell happened? Who has the guts to do this to me? I am soa-ked in water and Nothing happened to George. This magic is too strong, who has the power to do this? I wave my hand and some sparks appeared, i direct it to my clothes and it changes to a nightwear.
Argggh! I do it again and it changes into a masquerade go-wn, i look so ugly. I try it the third time and it changes to my uniform, dry but stained with bu-tter cream.
I’m going to have to manage this till i find out who did this to me and deal with him or her. I wash my hands and walk out of the restroom only to bu-mp into this stupid nerd again.
“hey! You again! Don’t you have eyes?!” i snap at him. He waves his hands and i become dumb immediately.
Omg! He’s a wizard too! Why didn’t i think of this? I try to talk but i can’t and he laughs at me.
“What? The almighty Queen Melinda can’t talk?” he says and i nod, what can i do?
My magic isn’t even stable or working.
“Look, i c@m£ here with a proposal. I know who hurt you and that she’s after your b©yfri£nd. But i can help”
What is he tryna say? Tell me this isn’t one of those movies where two people who loves the other people team up to separatethem.
“You jjust help me get my wife back and George will be yours” he says.
I don’t like this idea but i will do anything for George so i nod and he smiles and re-leases me. I cough ha-rd , “sorry dear”
“whatever” i yank.
“Tomorrow, meet me here for the plan” he says and leave. Idiot! I wonder who his wife is, whoever she is after my b©yfri£nd, will not pity her ..
