“Must you really be his business p@rtner” i heard max wife lily say
I had no choice but to be max business p@rtner and be close to milly once again
After the ordeal at her house,she has been avoiding me and each time i go to her house to search for her they give me one excuse or another
So i thought of a way and its by being around lily and max,milly closest friend
“Look i know milly and lucas have a issue but lucas and i are business p@rtners and so can we plea-se make be cordial to each other”max said
“But max…..”
“Its okay lily,max is right ,they are only doing business”milly said as she drew lily to seat back
I couldnt help noticing milly and how she looked in her lovely dress ,with her hair down,i only wish she could accept me
“Common lucas lets go in”max said pu-lling me in
I was going in when i st©pped beside her
“Did you bring lisa?”i said
“No i didnt”she said without looking at me
Sadly i went in with max,if she had brou-ght lisa then i would have got the chance to talk to her
“Dont worry lucas,in due time,she will suc¢v-mb”max said as he brou-ght a bottle of whiskey towards me
“Excuse me?”
“Common we are guys and i know that your trying to woo back your lady but she is giving you a ha-rd time”he said
“Yes,your right “i said starring out at her
Lily was talking to her and she had a smile on her face,a very lovely one
“She is giving me a ha-rd time and i ha-rd ly know how to approach her”
“You see there was a time when i had almost lost lily,we decided on giving our self sometime before going to back to each other and due to my stupidity we spent a lot of time ap@rt,now what am trying to bring out in all of this is that you shouldnt give up and the more time you waste,the more you lose her,am quite sure that your sincere with her,milly had been a great help when i was searching for my wife and ever since then she has hold a p@rt of my heart,i wouldnt want anything to happen to her”max said
“Have learnt from my past mistake max ,milly is a gem i plan not to lose,so rest your mind as-sured,milly wont be hurt by me again”i said
“Thats good to hear and so now lets get down to business before my darling wife thinks otherwise”he said smiling at me
And just then i knew what to do with milly

“I dont know why max had to get him as his business p@rtner”lily said angrily
“Its okay,its business”i said
“But still…..”
“Its okay lily,lets just st©p talking about lucas and lets talk of something else”i said
“Tell me is lucas wanting something more from you”lily said suddenly
“What,as how”i said
“Does he want to have a relationsh!pwith you?”lily said
“Yes ,he wants me to go back to him”i said

“To be sincere,am quite confused ,i dont know what to decide on”i said
“Tell me,do you feel something more for him”lily said
“I Dont know,am quite confused”i said
“Love can you plea-se come here for a while”max called and she excused herself and went in

“But i dont want to”i said wanting to get up to leave when he pu-ll-ed my hand
“Look,lets do this,you accompany me to greece and lily along with max come with us”he said
“Why do you insist on me going with you to greece”i said

💭LUCAS POV 💭
I kept k!ss!ngher and God it felt so wonderful
She felt so soft and delicious,when i had k!$$£d her in the past,i hadnt really enjoyed it because then all i felt was hatred,hatred for something she never did
How could i have thrown something good away,why had i let myself be full of anger and hate towards a girl that have never done a thing to me
Well that would be thought about later as of now i want to savour this moment with milly
Am quite surprised that she hasnt pushed me away or sl@pped me or call me names
Instead she let me k!ssher and i was so willing to take the opportunity
I drew her closer and she drew close to me and k!$$£d me back
At least if she is letting me k!ssher then we are getting somewhere,i thought happily
“Milly i………oh am sorry”lily said interrupting us
She just had to come out,why!!!!i thought angrily as i held unto milly
“I will leave the two of you alone”she said giving me a muderous glare before walking back in
Why is she after me???i thought as i stared at her
“Seems like lily doesnt like me”i said
“plea-se let me go”milly said gently not wanting to stare at me
“Why?are you scared of being k!$$£d again”i said wanting to k!ssher again but she moved away
“I think its enough now “she said
“Milly i…..”
“No lucas,i dont want any of this,am not re-ady for it and am not sure if i will ever be,so plea-se just keep your hands to yourself and you can be with lisa but plea-se dont think they can ever be anything between the both of us”she said and walked past me
“You can at least try you know,lets both try to heal together and forget the past”i said as a last attempt
“Have always been able to heal on my own,i dont nee-d you lucas”she said those last words and it hurt a lot
I sat alone starring at her as she left the house
“Where is milly?have you suceeded in s£nding her away”lily said
“I didnt do a thing and st©p with your nagging”i said
“And why should i,your a threat to her and to every female out there,i wonder why she even let you get close to her child”
“Believe it or not,i have alre-ady payed fpr my sins and i want to make it up to milly”i said
“Thats true lily,lucas really wants to make it up to milly,he loves her and he wants to show it to her “max said
“Is he really sincere with his feelings”lily said
“Yes i am and Thats why i want to take her with me to greece and i nee-d your help”i said
“In what way?”lily asked suspiciously
“Lucas wants us to go with him to greece,well at least if milly is with you then she will feel free to come with me”i said
“And think of it as a sort of vacation for us,you and me alone at the beach,what do you say?”max added
“Fine,if your sure this plan of yours will work then fine,i will go with you and help you with milly”she said
At least lily have finally accept me and very soon milly will do the same
💭MILLY POV 💭
“Okay am in the restaurant,where are you?”i said into the phone
“Are you in front a door with tag on it saying pri-vate “lily said back into the phone
“I think so”i said feeling a bit wierd
I had woke up feeling confused about when lily called telling me to come to a restaurant to come see her and i did
Now she is pla-ying a sort of hide and seek with me
“Then go in,we are there waiting for you”she said and switched off the phone
I sighed and went in hoping to scream at her but i st©pped when i saw him there

💭milly pov💭
“Why.are you the one here”i said starring at him
“I will only tell you that once youve come in properly”he said
“You planned this with lily?”i said changing the t©pic
To me standing here is the only way i can keep him far
“Lets say she helped me a bit”he said
“I know lily,she wont have allowed you to come near me at all”
“Well she did after she heard me and thats what you nee-d to do milly,hear me out”he said
“So you can persuade me as you did with her”i said
“You must see that i nee-d you there with me”he said walking towards me
“But why?”
“Because your the mother of my child and am sick milly,i nee-d lisa and you there,to give me the support i nee-d “i said
I had totally forgotten about his illness,i had been thinking that he wanted me there because he wanted to get me back but it had been because of his illness
I felt a bit sad and why i dont know …
“So i will come with you along with lisa too right “i said
“Yes milly,if lisa is there and your there am sure that i will strive ha-rd to get better”he said
“Without us wont you try to get better”i said wanting to confirm something
“I would milly but as of now you both are here and i nee-d you there with me,lily along with max are coming too,if that would put your mind at ease”he said
“They are ?”
“Its going to be like a vacation for them,you dont have anything to fear with them there “he said again
“But lucas i……”
“Shhhh…….for once let her heart decide and not your head”he said
“Have done that once,cant afford to do it again”i said
“In the past i had been foolish to have caused you pain,to have R@p£d you and caused you harm but that can be repaired right,let me show you that i am de-eply sorry for everything”he said
I just stood starring at him,with his speech and all,i didnt know if i should just go with him or if i say no
I dont know how he did it but he was close to me holding my hands

That did it,it got him the answer he wanted

I couldnt deny it but i felt happy,happy that i agreed to go
I know am meant to be feeling angry but no i felt peace and knowing that kind of thing scares me alot
Feeling peace in the arms of lucas shouldnt be at all
I shouldnt feel anything for lucas again,i mustnt and i wouldnt

“Lisa come back here”i said to the two girls as they ran around the aurport
“Just let her be,afterall we are in the vip section”lily said as she scrolled throu-gh a magazine
I sat down feeling relaxed,its been quite busy throu-gh the last few days
It had been a shock to my mom to find out that i was going to greece with lucas but not to my dad and brother,i felt that those two knew something
And then i had to learn some few thinngs about the business because i wasnt only going to greece to support lucas ,i was also going because i had to take care of dad business there
And after days of preparing for the trip,here we are at the airport
“What do you think of this sarong,i was thinking of buying it and showing it off for max”lily said showing a picture in the magazines
“Its beautiful”i said
“Good,arent you going to buy one to look beautiful for lucas”she said suddenly
“Where is that coming from?”
“Common just tell me,what do you feel for lucas”she said
“Nothing ,he is just the father of my child”
“Are you sure about that milly?”she said
“Of….of course i am”i said
“Fine then,i wont ask again”she said as she continued checking out her magazine
All throu-gh the ride to greece,i sat by the end silently watching lucas pl@yand chat with max and lily
I didnt feel like talking so i decided to stay on my own
Ever since lily ask that question have also been thinking about it
“What do i feel for lucas,it certainly isnt hatred or wanting to get revenge,it certainly couldnt be pity,so what am i feeling
“You a bit worried”on hearing him beside i felt shocked
“Easy,did i scare you”?”
“Werent you just there a while ago”i said
“I was but when i saw you looking worried i c@m£ to reas-sure you”
“You dont have to worry about me,i can take care of myself”i said a bit harshly
I wanted him to go away,so i can think peacefully,with him beside me now,i cant think properly
“But since your going with me to greece,you and lisa are my t©p pirority”he said holding my hand
I would have pu-ll-ed off with lisa hadnt ran to us
“Mommy,daddy,aunt lily and uncle max are both k!ssing,wont you do the same “lisa said
I looked up to find those two k!ss!ngand my eyes went back to lucas
“So my lovely milly ,what do you say about us k!ss!ngtoo?”he said giving me a sm-irk
“Not on your life”i said haughtily and quic-kly went to the restroom
In there i breathed in gently and tried to bring myself to the way i was before
Lisa couldnt have make things worse by saying i should k!sshim
I musnt feel this way,i shouldnt,he is just the father of my child and thats it
I went back outside feeling convinced that i dont want to have anything personal to do with him.
We got to greece and we all walked out using the vip pas-sage
Never would i have thought that there would be bunch of reporters waiting for us at the entrance

“Is it true that she gave birth to your child”🚺
“Is she your hidden bride”🚺
“When is the wedding going to occur”🚹
I stood shocked starring at all of them
Lucas wra-pped his arms around me and pu-ll-ed me close,shielding him and throu-gh the rest all i could hear last was lucas saying
“Yes she is my bride to be abd our wedding would take place very soon”he said
And i stared up at him only to see him staring back at me,giving me a look that means that i should pretend with him……

💭milly pov💭
I sat in the car as he got in beside me ,i could see lisa along with max and lily getting into the other car while the press ran to them seeking for more answers
The car we were in was also crowded by the reporters who wanted to get more info
With an order from lucas,the car sped off
“Why didnt you allow lisa along with max and lily to follow us”i said
“I wanted to be alone with you ,so we can talk”he said
“Talk about what?”
“Look am sorry ,i didnt mean to say those things but if i didnt they wouldnt let us throu-gh and they would try to put words in our mouth”he said
“You should have thought of something else,why decide to lie”i said feeling so very angry
“Its the only way i could think of to get us out of there”he said trying to hold my hand but i pu-ll-ed away
“I dont want you tou-ching me”i said angrily
“Arrrrrghhhhhh…………”he said suddenly beside me,holding his head
“Whats wrong with you!”i said moving towards him
“I just felt a sharp pain”he said tou-ching his head
“Its your illness right ?”i said feeling worried
“Yes”he said stil holding his head
I keep on forgetting about his illness,he is sick and i keep on giving him problem
If something bad was to happen to him now,i wouldnt be able to forgive myself
💭lucas pov 💭
I sat in the car smiling to myself,i watched her fuss all over me
tou-ching my head every seconds,holding my hand and saying soothing things to me
I know that this method am using to have milly to myself but all is fair in love
Yes,i love milly a lot and i knew that if i didnt use this kind of trick with her,she wont want to stay
Luck was on my side when we walked out of the airport to find those reporters there
I hadnt expect them there and them being there and asking all sort of questions only made me set my plan in motion
I was going to tell people that milly and i will get married,i was planning on s£dûç!ng her and when she falls for me again i will pop the question but circu-mtances made me do it ahead of time
And if she is getting mad at me for it,i deserve it but what i wont like to deserve is if she decides to leaves without looking back
I smiled as i remebered luisa words
“If she decides to leave then use your sickness on her,faint or complain of a place hurting or just do something,all i know is you must find a way to st©p her from leaving and thats that”
I cant believe that am following my sister advise but what can i do,its the only way to calm milly
Its working because she is fussing over me and am sure that she wont want to leave because she would want to take care of me
And thats what i want,if a day should come and she should know the truth then i will tell her
But now ,am willing to do anything to keep her with me
“Tell me should i tell the driver to take us to a hospital”she said gently tou-ching my head
There are other places that i would have want her to t©uçh instead of my head
“No dont,just take me home,i will be fine”i said
“Lucas your shaking,i better take you to the hospital”she said
“No,dont!!!”i said that too quic-kly and she stared at me
“I dont want to go to any hospital,at least for today indulge me plea-se “i said
“Fine then but if something happens to you dont say that i did not try”she said angrily and i smiled
She might look angry but i could still see the worried look on her face
Well at least she is worried about me,isnt that just great,i thought
“If you really want to help,i could do with some cudd-ling”i said and she stared at me
“I mean to get the heat from your b©dy,so i will st©p my shiver”i said again
She seemed uncertain at first but she agreed and let me put my head on her shoulders,while she wra-pped her arms around me
I breathe in her scent and it was like being in heaven
How i wish i could stay this way forever,i once had this kind of affection from her but because of my stupid revenge ,i let her her suffer and i pushed the most precious thing away from my life
I only hope that she can forgive me fully and take me back into her life

“Daddy are you okay now?”lisa said as she sat on the be-d holding his hand
“Yes i am,just with enough sleep,i will be okay”he said giving her a smile
its been hours since weve arrived and instead of him to just sleep and have a rest,he kept on calling and answering calls
I wonder how he would be if he doesnt work for a while…
Holding him close in the car had did strange things to my heart
Things that i had felt before,felt for him,things that i dont want to feel for him not again
“Milly?”i turned to find the four of them starring at me
“Sorry my mind was somewhere else”i said
“I said that you should take lisa to her room,so i can rest”he said
“I hope you do rest”i said as we all got out of the room
A while later while max busied himself with work and lisa pla-yed around
Lily and i were cooking in the kitchen when i saw him dressed heading outside
“Lucas wait!!! Where are you going to?”i said
“I nee-d to leave”he said
“But your sick!!!!”
“Its my dad milly,he is dying,i nee-d to to go to him”he said
“Am coming with you,wait for me”i said st©pping him
If only i knew that my life was going to turn around,i wouldnt have followed him……….
