“What are you saying david”my mom said starring at me
“Her getting pregnant is not because she sle-pt with a b©yfri£ndof hers,its a lie we cooked up ,the real truth is that milly was R@p£d by her brother”david said spilling everything
“Is this true milly”my mother said
“Yes mom,its the truth”i said and she c@m£ to hvg me
“My poor baby,you must have suffered all by yourself”she saud crying
“I nee-d to tell you that luc……?”
“Just leave,leave luisa and never comeback “david said pu-lling her by the arms as he walked with her to the entrance
A while later we all sat in the living room and while david explained everything to my dad,i kept on thinking about what luisa said
Lucas is dying,i still cant believe that a man as virile as lucas has cancer
But what would Luisa gain in lying to me
“He must go to jail”my mother said suddenly bringing me back to reality
“No mom,plea-se,lets not bring up the past,let it stay the way it is”i said
“But he committed a crime against you,he is a beast for even laying a hand on you “my mother said while my dad and david kept quiet
“No mom plea-se dont,i dont want to bring up the past and if this goes out,people will know and they would stare at me with pity most especially lisa,she would be looked at as a child of r@p£ and i dont want that,so plea-se lets leave it like that”i said
“But he just cant go scot free for it”david said
“Believe me when i say this lucas too has suffered for it”i remebered luisa words
“Lucas have also suffered”i said
“Seems like that luisa has br@inwashed your head “david said
“She didnt br@inwash my head,she just told me some things that he went throu-gh too,lucas is dying “i said and they all starred at me
“Dying?”david said
“That was what luisa c@m£ to tell me,he has cancer “i said
“Thats a big punishment”my mother said
“And its a terrible one,i want lucas to pay for what he did to me but i cant go as far as to wish death upon him,no matter what he is lisa dad”i said
“What are you planning on doing now”my father spoke for the first time
“Luisa told me that he is going back to greece tomorow and his only wisb is for him to be with his daughter,so i was thinking that i let her see him”i said
“You really have a good heart milly”my dad said urging me to come hvg him
I stood up and went to hvg him
“your kind ,strong and good,i hope that lucas guy have finally learnt his mistake “my dad said
“He has learnt it”i said really hoping that he has learnt his mistake
Unknown to us all,dad had his own plan in mind

“What!!!!!”
“I just had to okay,she wouldnt let you see the child “luisa said
“And does that now mean that you should lie,we are talking about death for crying out loud”i said Angrily
“Thats is the only thing that could pop into my head and when i told her that you were dying,you should have seen her face,am pretty sure that she would bring lisa to see you”luisa said somehow giving me a little hope
Though i didnt like the way luisa lied about me dying and having a cancer
But she suceeded in getting milly to at least feel a bit compas-sion for me
“from what i noticed about milly,she is a very charming and kind girl while her brother is the big headed one ,he keeps on meddling in milly business”she said looking angry
“Its because he had once failed her,he had left her on her own and i had used the opportunity to get close to her so that i can..i can….”
“Its okay lucas,it doesnt matter anymore,what matters now is that you are genuinely asking for forgiveness and am sure that someday milly will forgive you and am also sure that before you leave for greece she would let you see lisa”she said patting my shoulders
At least something good will come out of luisa lie,i just hope that she lets me see lisa,lisa my child,i thought to myself happily
?MILLY POV ?
“Are you sure about this milly,once you take lisa to him there would be no turning back”david said as we parked right in front of lucas new home
“Am sure david,the man is dying and he would be leaving to greece,he wont see lisa,with just the little time they have,they can at least meet each other”i said
“Fine then,i will be here waiting,once he tries anything call for me”he said
“I will call on you”i said holding lisa hand as we got out of the car
Breathing de-eply i walked towards the house
“Mommy where are we going?”lisa said
“Youve always wanted to see your dad right?”i said to her
“Is my daddy here?”
“Yes lisa,your dad is here”i said
“Yipeee!!!!”she said happily
Just then the door opened and i saw lucas standing by the doorstep starring at us
“Is he my daddy” lisa said
“Yes lisa,he is,go to him”i said giving her a go ahead
She ran to lucas who was alre-ady waiting for her with his arms opened wi-de
He carried her into his arms holding her ti-ghtly
I felt t©uçhed watching the two holding each other,had i really been cruel by leaving with his child,i thought
“Mommy told me your my daddy,are you really?”lisa said
“Yes i am”lucas said k!ss!ngher forehead and she giggled
He starred at me and gave me a smile,a smile i couldnt return because i felt like crying,crying for lucas who is sick and also for seeing the father and daughter renuion
“She really c@m£ “luisa said coming out of the house
“Yes she did,you said milly would and she did bring my child to me”he said starring at me
Luisa ran straight into my arms to hvg me
“Thank you milly,thank you”she said as she re-leased me
“There is really no nee-d to thank me”i said
“You doing this only shows that your a good person milly”luisa said
“Is david with you”she said again and i nodded
“Have got to get him to forgive me,am off “she said as she ran off to him
Lucas with lisa walked towards me
“I never really expect this from you “he said
“Am not that cruel lucas”i said
“Yes i know that milly,if there is any hatred in you then its all my fault,i brou-ght it out in you the day i…the day i…..”
“Its okay lucas you dont have to say it”i said
And suddenly he pu-ll-ed me into a very ti-ght hvg
“Am sorry milly,very sorry,”he said as he burried his head on my shoulders
For the first time in a while,i find myself not pushing him away but instead i found myself patting him gently on the back and finally letting go,its time i forgive and forget
To be able to live a good life i had to put the past behind me and that is what am going to do
“I forgive you lucas”……….

?LUCAS POV ?
“Daddy write out your name for me”lisa said as she sat on my l@ps eating the desert the maid had brou-ght for her
“What do you plan on doing with it”i said
“To frame it and put it in my room”she said starring at me and i had to laugh to that
She is just so cute and adorable and she is my child,my daughter,i thought feeling very proud
“Common daddy come write out your name “she said again
Just hearing her call me daddy made me feel so proud
I got on the floor and wrote out my name,she bent down with it ad started copying out
I never would have thought that milly would bring the kid but she did and she even forgave me
I thought that when i had hvgged her a while back she would have pushed me away but she didnt
I starred at the balcony and saw her standing there,she had given lisa and i some space,so we could get to know each other well enough
She has a big heart,i know for one that what i did to her would have cost some people to be in jail but she didnt s£nd me to jail,she forgave me when i nee-ded her forgiveness,how i really admire her,i thought i went to her
The wind was b!owing her hair and i stood for a while starring at her pushing back her hair,she had changed from the milly i knew years ago and i wouldnt deny that she is much prettier…..
She turned suddenly catching me starring at her,i quic-kly went to meet her
“Is lisa pla-ying on her own “she said
“Well she seems to be learning how to write my name ,she intends on framing it and putting it in her room”i said and she smiled,a smile i missed seeing
“Thats lisa for you”she said

“Tell me what are you doing about your illness,cant there be a solution “she said
Ah the sickness thing ,i have to think of something
“Luisa told you that i was leaving right?”i said
“Yes,your going back to greece”she said
“Well am going there to start my treatment,i never really wanted to go for the treatment but for my daughter i will,she nee-ds me as much as i nee-d her”i said starring at lisa
“Would you be bringing her over to greece to see me “i said
“I dont know,am not sure”she said
“But why?”
“Geeece is a far away place “i said
“If your worried about your ticket and all,i will always pay for it,just plea-se bring lisa to see me”i said
Just then the door opened a smiling luisa and david walked in
“Urrrgh lucas,i will like to talk to you”david said
“What is it about david”milly said walking ahead of me and i couldnt miss watching the way her h!ps swayed
Whats wrong with me,i had alre-ady ruined her life once and doing so again would only make me a bastard,i must not want milly,she will only be the mother of my child and thats final
“Its just a conversation between us guys,so just stay here with luisa,we will be back soon”david said and i followed david to the car
“What do you want to talk about”i said
“Not me but my dad,he wants to talk to you “he said and soon the driver drove off
“Why does he want to talk to me”i said
“I dont know,he just wants to talk to you”david said
The driver drove into a restaurant and we both went in
David led me to a table where his dad was alre-ady sitted
I greeted the man and we both sat down
“Lucas martinelli right”the old man said and i nodded
“You must be wondering why i called you here”he said
“Yes i do”
” i heard about what you did to my daughter “he said and i stared at david who gave me a look before starring away
“Well if you have heard then yoir free to put me behind bars,i would gladly surrender”i said
“Milly doesnt want that,she doesnt want you in jail,we all want you to be in jail but she doesnt want her child to see her dad in jail but what i want to know now is how you can resto-re back my daughter honour,afterall you were doing the same for your sister”he said
I thought about what he said for a long time and the only thing that could come into mind was one thing
I starred up at the two men and said
“Marriage”
“You must be crazy right”david said
“St©p david,no insults,by marrying milly would that give her back her honour”he said
“It wouldn’t really give her that but once am married to her i could easily resto-re back the things i took from her”i said
“This is utter stupidity dad,would you let a ra-pist marry your daughter”david said
“I said no insults here david,at least he has know his mistake and he has asked for her forgiveness,now its all left for you to persuade her to marry you and give my daughter the happiness she deserves “he said to me
“I would try my best to make her accept me but first i nee-d to go to greece and do something there”he said
“And would that be to check on your health?”he said
“Yes”i lied again starring at him ,until when would this lie keep on growing
“Thats good,if you are to marry my daughter you must try to get cured,milly can even go with you”he said
“Really ?”
“Well it will all depend on milly,if she will go with you”he said
“Then i would persuade her,i will make sure she follows me to greece”i said feeling happy
I would make milly my wife,her father has alre-ady given me the go ahead,its only left for me to woo her back andi hope i do it right this time

“they’ve been gone a long time now,are you sure you dont know where theyve gone to”i said
“I dont and you should st©p worrying”luisa said
Just then i looked throu-gh the window and i saw the car coming back
“They are here”i said as i went outside
Lucas c@m£ out of the car first and he was looking at me in a strange way
He got to me and pu-ll-ed my hand starring right into my face
“Milly would you go with me to greece?”he said starring at me
