” Yes get the order ready for ma’am meloy’s son he’ll be here any moment from now” I said to my sales girl and showed her the list of snacks to package . When a black shiny expensive car packed outside my bakery. ” Oh my goodness madam seems like you have a rich client” she said and I turned to her. ” Focus on the other Kara ” I said and turned back to the car outside .
A pretty woman around my age came outta the car in expensive dress and glas-s heels . I wonder who advised her to wear something like that to a neighborhood like this . Their was a ? on her hair and she had shades on to avoid the sun. A Gucci bag and her phone and car keys on the other.
She walked towards the door and when her eyes met mine she smiled lovingly . ” Good morning sara , I’m Angela , Alexander’s mother” she said and I smiled brightly .
” Oh good morning madam” I said and she frowned . ” Oh c’mon you can call me Angela after all we are future in-laws ” she said and I chuckled at her enthusiasm .
She’s so enthusiastic about our kids dating that she has already considered herself Emma’s new mother inlaw.
” So what can I offer you Angela ? I asked and she smiled . ” Just soft drink , and I’ll like to have two of those ” she said pointing at the cookies on the show glas-s
I smiled at her and served her the snack and jui-ce . She ate and closed her eyes with a priceless look on her face . ” Omg this is so delicious girl I can ki-ss your hands for this ” she said and I burst out laughing.
” This is the best cookies Ive tasted in my life plus I’ve never had this flavour before” she said and I smiled .
” It’s my recipe ” I said and she looked around. ” You make such delicious cookies but people don’t even know about this place ” she said sadly.
” Well Henry and I did think of Making an advert about this place, but the bakery nee-ds renovation and we really don’t have that amount of money in our budget ” I said and sat close to her.
” How about I lend you the money ? She asked about to open her bag and I stopped her. ” No nee-d Angela , c’mon we just met each other” I said and she rolled her eyes.
‘ I have a feeling we will be best of friends . But if you don’t want money directly from me , I can link you up with some investors , this place really nee-ds to be renovated ” she said and I smiled at her kindness .

” Good morning sir ” I greeted my boss as he strolled into his office with a big smile on his face . ” Good morning Nina how was your night ? He asked and I looked at him in shock . Ever since he started dating miss Emma , I’ve seen a side of him that was long dead and buried .
He now smiles a lot , and rarely snaps . I’m so happy to see Mr Alexander this happy and cheerful .
When his wife Mrs Diana pas-sed away , I’d watch Mr North drink himself to stupor almost every night in his office . He would cry in pain and shut everyone out . Mia was the reason for his sanity because it got to a time , we all thought we were finally loosing him but he decided to give life another try with his daughter Mia as his second chance .
Fate has given him another chance at happiness,I pray nothing comes in between the both of them.
? NORA’S POV ?
What I heard Wesley say at the basketball weeks ago really hurt like hell , I couldn’t bear the fact that he thought my feelings for him where just nothing and I should get rid of them . I cried a lot that day , because I realized my love for him would always be unrequited.
I picked my big brown Teddy bear and sling bag from my locker as I looked at the hallway , I saw that everyone had left already . I better start leaving before I get extra late .
I checked my watch and I just had 15 mins before I ran completely late.
I heard noise from behind and turned to see Wesley coming towards me with a blue shirt and basketball on his hands I immediately turned around and tried Leaving but he held my hand .
” Hey Nora how’ve you been ?why haven’t you been coming for your clas-ses are you avoiding me ? He asked and I looked everywhere else but him.
” Wesley please escuse me” I said and he frowned.
” Are you seriously gonna start showing me attitude now Nora ? It doesn’t make any sense ” he said and bi glared at him.
” Why do you care Wesley Jones ? You already know why I was taking lessons for you in the first place, you know I have feelings for you . But it doesn’t make a different because it’s non of your business ” I said as tears rolled outta my eyes .
I feel so pathetic for crying over Wesley , it makes me feel how weak I am , how weak loving him has made me.
He watched me cry for a while before giving me an handkerchief.
” I won’t lie and date you because I know it would make you happy Nora , when I know I’ll still end things with you , I’m not the loving R0m-nce kinda guy Nora , and if we eventually date I’ll end up hurting you more because I believe in reality. Don’t worry I’ll be writing my final exams soon and after our final games and graduation ,you don’t have to be worried about seeing my face in this school anymore ” he said and I felt my heart hurt.
He walked away and I hu-gged my teddy ti-ght as tears continue rolling outta my eyes while I stood all alone in the hallway.
? Erik’s POV ?
Emerson wouldn’t pick my calls and no one is letting me see her . So I decided to warn Alexander by myself to stay away from my woman if he knows what’s good for him.
I traced him down to the 7 star hotel where he was having his meeting. I waited for about 2 hours before I sp-otted him coming out with his bodyguards and as-sistant.
Clad in a black Armani suit and Italian shoes , he looked like an handsome Greek god .
” Alexaander” I yelled as I matched over to him .
” You animal ” I said and his bodyguards try to attack me but he raised his hands stopping them from walking over to me.
I glared at him with pure hatred and anger , but he had no definite expression on his face . He just stared at me blankly and I can fill anger rise from the pit of my stomach.
” Erik Miller to what do I owe this unpleasant cornering of yours ” he asked in a professional tone and I glared daggers at him.
” I’ll just give you one simple warning. Stay away from Emma” I said and he just smi-rked.
” Too bad I can’t Miller ,I cherish my girlfriend a lot , and why do you even think I’ll listen to you in the first place” he said and I can’t believe midred was saying the truth .
Emma is dating this man she let this man have se-x with her ? ” You bastard I yelled and grabbed his collar and his white dress shirt to-re at the ne-ck yet he didn’t bother to pull me off he just kept sm-irking at me like a king .
While people where giving me looks like I was insane the security came and arrested me . ” You bastard …. I’ll ruin…you for …even touching Emma … I’ll fu-cking kill you ” I threatened at the top of my voice .

” And I told Calvin that I can draw the best sunflowers in the world and you are going to help me ” Mia said raising her crayons and I burst out laughing . My baby is just so cute . She looked at me and yawned and I smiled .
” Why isn’t daddy fluffs back yet I miss daddy ” she said and pout her li-ps.
She has been waiting for Alex for sometime now with some baked cookies we both made on the table , she’s so excited to have him taste them.
” Daddy ” she yelled happily and hu-gged him as he strolled in looking tired with his tie loose and yet still managed to make my heart beat crazily.
” Hey Mia , hey love ” he said and peked Mia’s forehead then my li-ps .
I noticed he was very quiet , seems it’s due to stress buh I plan on asking him later .
Mia fed him the cookies and went to bed while he went upstairs to take a shower . I took his dinner to his room and that’s when I saw his white dress shirt torn on the ne-ck .
I frowned and picked it up . I glanced at the bathroom where I could hear water running behind those close door and I know he’s bathing.
He walked outta the bathroom shirtless in just his boxers and I quickly looked away.
” Hey love ” he said and sat down on the chair while I went behind him and ran my fingers in his hair giving him an head mas-sage .
” I really nee-ded this …” He said tiredly and I chuckled .
” Told you I mas-sage like an African mas-sure , you didn’t wanna believe me ” I said and he pulled me on his lap-s .
” Alex…” I said and he raised his eyebrows teasingly .
” What happened to your dress shirt , it looked like you were involved in a fight ” I said and he lic-ked his li-ps then avoided eye contact .
‘ no love it just…it happened in the site where …” He was saying but I placed my fingers on his li-ps.
” Don’t lie to me Alex , I don’t tolerate them , the only way we can make this work, is by being honest with each other” I said and sat on both side of his lap-s while facing him and at the same time continuing my mas-sage.
” I’m sorry I just , don’t want you to worry , but Erik confronted me puts an hotel where I went for a very important meeting ” he said and I froze.
” ERik ? I hope he did nothing wrong to you love ” I said checking him and he smiled.
” Hey Erik can’t beat me up okay , and besides I can never stoop so low as him to fight in such an open place , I have self respect , and besides your mine ” he said and whispered the last part unknowingly sending cheeks down my spine .
He buried his face on my ne-ck and I m-oaned as he placed W-et ki-sses and up towards my li-ps.
” Alex promise me you’ll never hide anything from me , no matter how big , or small” I said and he ki-ssed my forehead.
” I promise Emma ” he said and placed his soft li-ps on mine . I m-oaned into the ki-ss as I ran my hands on his back then into his hair .
” Alex..” I m-oaned as I felt his hands on my thi-ghs . He ran them towards my bu-tt and immediately snapped outta of his thoughts .he bit his lower li-p se-xily.
” We should probably stop Emma ..” he said and I burst out laughing seeing the look of self control on his face .
Alex is just so cute .
