Wise men say * You never know the value or importance of something until you’ve lost it* Every since Linda left, I never for once felt any pressure… I thought I was over her and I thought that I would in time find someone else… But boy was I wrong…
A Month pas-sed since Linda left the house and Everything changed around the house, It wasn’t as tidy as it was when Linda was in the house and I began to feel bored and empty… Though I hated to admit it.. But I missed Linda alre-ady.
But I tried to block her out of my mind by keeping myself busy with work and going out to special events and p@rty but still nothing changed, I was feeling the same, empty and bored.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, People outside and on social media began to jeer and mock me for d@t!nga pr*stitute especially people like Funke .. I ignored them completely to show them as if I didn’t care.. But de-ep down I was hurt and angry.
As the days went by, I stayed at house drowning my self in bottles of beer 🍺.. I couldn’t go out and do my usual stuff… Cecilia and my mother handled the company and as for the film issue, I told the directors that I was sick and I nee-ded time to recu-perate. I tried all I could to forget Linda but the funny thing is.. I keep seeing her in my mind.. The moments we had kept flashing in my mind, I was going stir crazy.. I couldn’t sleep well because of this.. I had to take slee-ping drugs to f0rç£ myself to sleep.
Out of my friends and acquaintances who knew my relationsh!pwith Linda, only a few felt sorry for me.. Those people were Faruk and Hermione… You may be surprised , well don’t be.. You all may be expecting my sister to feel sympathy for me.. But no.. In fact she was happy that Linda and I split.. When I cursed those mocking me for d@t!ngLinda.. Cecilia would just laugh.. I wanted to thrash her but it wasn’t her fault that I’m in this mess.
One afternoon, I was at home, when I was visited by Faruk.. He was shocked to see the state I was in… All messed up and out of shape..

Faruk left the house and I was soon alone.. After a while, I decided to turn on the flat screen and entertain myself.. But tht didn’t work out cause I was busy switching from one channel to another.. There was nothing fun to watch so I switched off the damn screen and went back to my room. As I was climbing the stairs.. I heard a knock on the door, I had to go back down and open the door to see who was disturbing me and as I opened the door, I found out it was Hermione.

Hermione walked into the house staring at the place, she took her sit.. There was nothing in the house, so I decided to ask if she wanted anything.

Hermione ➡ Tony.. You deserve everything that’s happening to you.. And I think you know what I’m talking about.. I don’t see why you should be angry.. If i were the one in Linda’s shoes.. I would have kept my mouth shut and deny all those things people said about me.. Come on man.. She confessed.. At least that’s something.. She must have been that courageous to tell you about her secret.. You see the problem with you men is.. You’re too selfish… You can do whatever you want.. And nob©dy says a thing, in fact you’re been seen as champions but when a woman does something.. Hell will broke loose. That’s when everyone will start talking.. Look.. Let me ask you.. Between Linda and Funke? Which one do you love the most?

Hermione left the house.. She was right about one thing though.. I nee-ded a bath cause I was smelly.
Minutes later, I was in the toilet enjoying a nice h0t shower 🚿.. I washed myself thor0ûghly and after that, I shaved my scattered beard.
I later c@m£ out feeling good and refreshed.. As I dried myself up and wore some nice clothes.. I decided to tidy the house.. Its a good thing Linda showed me some few house cleaning ti-ps, I wasn’t that good but I managed.. I swept the house, moped it and got rid of all the trash in dustbin..
A while later, Cecilia returned.. Like I said before Cecilia had developed this nas-ty habit of using Linda to mock me.. As she entered the house, she noticed how clean the house was but then the bit-ch started usual bull$h!t.

And besides it’s not like Linda had a choice, Her brother was on the verge of dying and she had nob©dy else to help her.. And you know life in this country is.. She had to do something to save her brother’s life even if it meant becoming a pr*stitute.

You continued your pl@ybut she still resisted. Somehow in some way.. He won her over.. And then BAM! it happened.. You were in love with her.. And the good p@rt about your relationsh!pwas Linda was influencing your habits, The pl@yboy, Casanova tony was now a humble gentleman.. And it was all thanks to Linda.. But now that you’ve heard her secret.. You don’t love her anymore.. What kind of man are you? You’re not kid, Tony.. You’re a grown man.. If you really loved her, you would have un-derstood the situation she was in.. She didn’t last long in her former job anyway.. She only stayed there for a couple of months and then she quit when she got this job.. All she wanted to do was to get money and save her brother.. Tell me Tony? If you were broke and mom was so sick she was going to die.. What would you do if you had no other options left? Picture yourself in that situation and compare It with Linda’s situation and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Besides you have no right to be mad over Linda.. Cause you too have used a lot of women.. Have you ever for once sat down and think about what they might feel?
I know you still love her.. Whether you admit it or not.. All I can say is you should go and talk things out with her before it’s too late.. She’s the woman of you.. And you know I’m right.. So man up and go claim your woman back before someone comes and claim her.

Cecilia sure said a lot of things that hit me ha-rd and it made me begin to wonder if I made the right move .. Maybe I was too harsh on Linda, can’t say it’s her fault though… I was just too angry to think things throu-gh… I could remember those awful things I said to her… How stupid I was to call her a gold digger… I’m sure I’m on her No. 1 list of the people she loathes.. I just hope it’s not to late to fix things.

A month had past since my split with Tony and Life wasn’t a bowl of cherry anymore and I was back right where I started… But this wasn’t the case at first.. The day I split up with Tony.. I returned everything he had given me.. The Cars, clothes and jewelries.. Everything.. I even wanted to give him the money 💰 he gave me but Cecilia insisted I use it to do something useful with it.. I didn’t heed her words cause I wasn’t going to use the money of some idiot who called me a gold digger.. I don’t care if I’m broke again, at least I have to maintain my pride as well.
So in the end.. I gave some of the money to Regina, I donated some to community service and then I gave the rest to homeless children.. At least they nee-d the money more than I do.
As the days pas-sed, I was in Regina’s house doing nothing.. I couldn’t go out not when people are busy talking about me and Tony.. But as I got bored, I decided to get off my a** and get some work…
I applied as a waitress at one exclusive restaurant.. Thanks to my natural charm and beauty, the manager hired me without interview.. The pay wasn’t much but at least I could take care of myself and my brother..
The day I started working in the restaurant.. It was quite disturbing because the customers soon realized who I was… Most of the customers especially the women hated me so much because their d@t£s were staring at me as I served them… But I ignored them all and paid attention to my work… As the days followed the restaurant was soon filled and packed with customers especially the male customers who bombarded the restaurant hoping to get a chance to get between my legs.. They must be crazy if they think I’m going to give them that opportunity.
The manager Mr. Yakubu was plea-sed with the progress and he gave me a raise.. I thanked him so much and dedicated myself to my job.
One interesting about this job is that you see different characters of people.. You’ll see the fakers, the losers, the winners, and the weird ones.. Among the weird ones.. There is one fair attrac-tive lady, that always sits and eats alone, she also orders the same thing which was chicken pepper soup. She doesn’t talk or say much, she just sits down, consume her pepper soup, pays and leaves. I couldn’t help but wonder about her.. Her features and appearance were so radical but h0t.. She had a tattoo on the side of her n£¢k and she always puts on black clothes and she had this habit of pla-ying with knifes.. Out of curiosity, I decided to approach and know more about her.. Maybe she’s in some kind of trouble.
One evening, I was done with my shift and was about to go home, when I sp©tted this lady… She was standing alone outside on the road.. She had a gloomy expression on her face. So I approached her to get acquainted.

Lily and I walked for minutes, and there still was no taxi.. The streets were getting dark and there were ha-rd ly people on the road. I however was getting worried.. The streets were dangerous at night and one has to be careful of r@p£ from street thvgs.. As if lily was re-ading my mind, she asked if everything was okay.

Linda ➡ Yeah.. Its just that I don’t like staying out late on the streets at night.

Before I knew what was happening.. Lily gr@bb£d hold of me and covered my face with a white rag…. There was something on the rag that smelled way too strong, I struggled to break free but Lily was strong as a bull.. Before long, I pas-sed out and fainted.
A bit later, I was woken by a splash of cold water.. I woke up abruptly, looking at my surroundings wondering where I was, but my vision was blurry and my head was paining me.. I had to calm myself so I could get control over my s-en-ses, after a while, I was beginning to see things clearly and as I looked up, I saw Lily sitting in front of me.. She was eating an apple 🍎 while she stared at me. I tried to break loose but I was tired hand and foot.. Out of desperation, I asked her where I was.

While I was battling all this thoughts in my head.. Lily approached me, pu-lling out two daggers from her back, she gr@bb£d my hair pu-lling her hair backwards, she placed the sharp blade on my n£¢k, looking straight into my eyes.. I couldn’t believe this was the end for me! What would Regina or my brother react if they saw my corpse and my throat open.. In that moment, I closed my eyes and prayed to God to save me, so I could see my brother and Regina one more time.. even if I’m going to die later on.
