The Following Week…
A lot has happened in the previous week. Alice went for the job interview and luckily, she pas-sed. She was given a post of secretary in Phili-p’s company. She was more than happy when she eventually started working.
No one attend the Walter’s church again. How the issue got leaked was unknown. But everyone vacated the church immediately they got to know about Phili-p’s deeds.
Cindy had packed her belongings from Emmanuel’s house and now living in her big mansion with her gate keeper and cleaner.
Samuel surprised her firstly by hiring some people to furnish Cindy’s baby room for her. Cindy was speechless ’cause she hasn’t even thought of that. Then, the hospital beside her hospital turned out to be Samuel’s hospital. Everyone was wowed!
“how’d they build hospital beside themselves even without telling each other? truly, their destiny was made together. ” people commented.
Samuel has also packed to his new bought house not far from Cindy’s mansion. Both (Cindy and Samuel) of them have st©pped working in the hospital where they worked before so that they’d be able to monitor their own.
And they’ve promised themselves to work together on the two hospitals… they took the two hospitals as one.
Cindy have served Samuel a divorce paper too and now she’s a free woman.
Lawyer James tried a lot in saving Emmanuel. ‘Cause he’d be s£nt to thirty years imprisonment. After everything, he was freed but lost his job in the bank and still battling with his company debts.
Jenny flee immediately the judge pronounce his judgement.
“I can’t stay with a wretch man.” was her last statement to him before leaving.
Ann’s birthday was so glamorous and was fun filled. John and Lizzy was planning on taking their relationsh!pto the next step and she’s looking forward to it.
The PATERNITY TEST RESULT showed that Phil!pwasn’t the father of Cindy’s unborn baby. This caused confusion in everyone’s heart as they kept on wondering why it was so.
When Fred gave Cindy the test result in his office, she was glad it wasn’t Phil!pbut at the same time in a confused state of mind.
She told Phil!pto leave ’cause he was there with her.
“thanks goodness you ain’t the father of my baby, I’d have charge you court…you know my dad is a lawyer, right? but never in your life will you cross my lane. I never wish to see you again!” she said.
Phil!pcouldn’t utter any word, he just left Fred’s office quietly still not believing that he isn’t the owner of the baby. He then called Thomas to let him know of the test.
The next thing Thomas did was to call Mimi and threatened her that she’d speak out the truth or he expo-se her.
Mimi was so scared to the bone and the thought of her career coming to an end gives her creeps. She made up her mind to tell Fred the truth.
Fred told Cindy to take heart that he’d get to the root of the matter and find her the father of her unborn child.
She left his office in mixed feelings. Fred called Mimi the second Cindy took her leave. Mimi cane in immediately.
“who did this IVF and how did this mistake occur?” he asked coldly.
” the previous fertility doctor was the one here when it was done.” she answered.
“then I have to call her…’cause this is a costly mistake.” Fred said and made to do that when Mimi went on her knees.
She thought about the threats and the fact that the previous doctor knew nothing about it…
“it’d be better like this than Thomas ex-posing me publicly ” she thought.
“are you okay?” Fred asked
“no doctor. I have a confession to make.” she said.
“what confession?” he asked.
“plea-se promise me you’ll not expo-se me thereby ma-king my career come to an end?” she asked
“I promise, go on.” he answered
Mimi started her explanation from how Thomas gave her money to carry out IVF and how Samuel and Alice do come for IVF and all… .
“…..when I was carrying out the IVF in the Laboratory, I made a hvge mistake.” she said
“what mistake?” he asked getting more interest.
“I make use of Mr Bas-sey’s sp-erm instead of Mr Walter’s own…I have did the experiment before realizing..and it’s irreversible.” she said
” so, what are you saying in one word?” he asked
” Mr Bas-sey is the owner of the baby in Mrs James wo-mb ” she explained…. in tears.
Fred stood up with f0rç£, took his car key and left the office.

Emmanuel was now staying in his mother’s house, ’cause he sold his mansion to pay p@rt of the debt. he’s sold all of his properties too buT it still seems as if the debt is going higher day after day.
He thought of doctor Lawrence advices and he was regretting ever letting Cindy go. He’s a bachelor again. The person he abandoned his wife for (Jenny) was nowhere to be found now. He’s now left alone.
“I am really sorry Cindy.” he muttered where he was lying down.

.Dammie was also with her mum together with Emmanuel. George was pla-ying his roles on her pregnancy as promised but de-ep down, she really wanna marry George. Everyday of her life was also in regret ’cause the person she so much loathe (Cindy) was doing so well and have now bec@m£ so popular especially after she opened her hospital.

Fred drove to Ellen’s h0tel to let her know of Mimi’s confession. Ellen jumped up in joy after listening to him.
“wow!!! I am so happy! ” Ellen screamed.
“how do you think they’ll both take it?” he asked.
“they’ll be happy of course. those two are close you know. so it’d be easy for them to get along well. They’re compatible. ” Ellen said.
” I’m not sure… let’s call Samuel. ” Fred suggested.
” yeah… let him know he’s a father in embryo. ” Ellen gushed.
” I’m so happy… this is unexpected! ” she added.

It was in the evening. Both Samuel and Cindy were in silence. They’re in Samuel’s living room. Samuel had called her over to his place after he heard from Fred and Ellen.
Cindy couldn’t believe her ears. Samuel was in mixed feelings. They don’t know exactly how to react to the matter on ground.
“say something, Cindy.” Samuel said after a long time silent.
“what’d I say?” she asked finding her voice.
Samuel stood up and went to her on the couch she was sitted on.
“It’s fine. Even I, I’m surprised too. I didn’t expect such a thing but it’s the truth and we have to deal with it.” Samuel said and ca-ressed her left cheek gently.
“I know it’s too sudden and unexpected. But we can’t go anything. No one is to be blamed. You can’t be blamed and I can’t be blamed either. All we have to do is, let’s embr@ce it for the sake of the unborn child. ” he added softly.
Cindy stared at him for some seconds and smiled. She pu-ll-ed him into a warm hvg, smiling and crying at a time.
After some minutes, they dis£ngaged and Samuel wiped her tears.
” I’m glad. I’m so glad you’re the father of the baby I’m carrying. God’s so merciful. I don’t know how it happens… but it’s really for our good.
“Yeah… you’re right . Thank you for agreeing to this.”
“who am I not to?” she said.
they stared at each other smiling like couples in love.
“you’re beautiful.” he said in smiles
“even in this state? I’m getting bigger you know?” she pouted
“and that’s what I love most. ‘ he said and she laughed.
” Life is unpredictable for real. Universe really wants us together forever. ” Sam said
” Sam… ” Cindy called.
“yes? ” he answered.
“Do you accept this baby as yours?” She asked quietly, with so much uncertainty in her eyes.
Samuell-ips stretched into a wi-de grin.
“Of course Cindy. From the very first day I wanted to keep you close to myself, I accepted the child as mine. You don’t know how happy I am to know that this child is mine. I couldn’t really experience my heart felt happiness because of the awkward way we got to know about me being the father. I’m happy Cindy and I accept being the father.” Samuelsmiled.
“Oh…” Cindy sighed in relief and smiled.
“Thank you Sam.” She hvgged him lightly.
And you’re welcome love.” He smiled and k!$$£d her lightly on herl-ips. She blu-shed lightly and hit him gently on his che-st.
“Tomorrow, we’d go check the S-x of the child so we can start buying the baby clothes.” Samuel said with a smile while she nodded her head.
“Let’s go to the dinning room, your food is getting cold.” Samuel pouted and carried her up.
“Hey, put me down!” Cindy giggled.
Samuel quic-kly pe-cked her cheek and still carrying her, he left the living room.

“Congratulations, you’re having a set of twins. One male, the other female.” The sonogra-pher smiled at Samuel and Cindy after the scan. Well, the sonogra-pher, miss Rachel had told them to look at the scan as the foetus moved.
Cindy was overwhelmed with happiness and happiness was an un-derstatement for Samuel as he felt really happy.
Cindy eyes watered as stared at her baby.
“Thank you so much love.” Samuel smiled and k!$$£d her cheeks. She smiled in between her tears as she looked at him lovingly.

Samuel and Cindy shopped for all kinds of boys and girls stuffs – even the ones that wasn’t really important. Samuel was just grinning as he pushed the trolley while Cindy walked happily beside him, swinging her hands enthusiastically.
After they had bought more than enough, Samuel paid for the items and the cashier couldn’t st©p staring admiringly at them.
“You’re really one hell of a fine couple. I’m sure your child is gonna look just as cute. You look good together.” The cashier beamed at them.
“Thank you.” Samuel and Cindy smiled at her.
“Thanks for your patronage.” The cashier smiled at them as they left the shopping mall.

Samuel spoon fed Cindy. She felt so loved. These past few days after knowing the truth, Samuel had increase the way he used to shower his love on her. Now, he seemed to take care of her more.
Cindy couldn’t deny that she had fallen helplessly in love with him – who wouldn’t fall in love with a good person like Samuel?

“Hey, you zoned out. What were you thinking of?” Samuel asked softly as he placed the meatba-lls in her mouth.
She smiled and nodded her head negatively, “nothing.”
“Okay.” He smiled lightly – knowing not to pressure her to speak as she will, when she wants to.
“Let’s quic-kly eat so we can go take our bath and go to be-d.” He said. She nodded her head.

Cindy’s parents were so happy after hearing how everything went.
Mrs Sophia was the happiest knowing her son’s expecting a set of twins.

John and Lizzy got married and they started living their life happily. Their honeymoon was fun filled and John made Lizzy screamed out her lungs in be-d.
Fred proposed to Ellen and she happily said yes. The proposal was a beautiful one as Fred used Cindy to make Ellen jealous. it was such a nice proposal and Ellen said big YES at the end. They’re planning their wedding in earnest.

Cindy jumped up, quite afraid as the door opened. She had just finished taking her bath and she was just wra-pped in her white towel.
Samuel had just walked in at the wrong time. It would actually be the first time he would be seeing her almost nûd£.
She felt nervous and suddenly n-ked un-der his scrutinizing gaze.
Samuel didn’t know how it happened but he found himself so close to Cindy.
She was we-t as little droplets of water from her hair was rolling down to her ba-re n£¢k.
“Gosh Cindy! You look gorgeous.” Samuel gro-an ed, with de-sire in his voice.
He hvgged her from behind, his arms around her tummy and his mouth on her n£¢k.
Cindy shivered at the close proximity.
She felt a tingling s-en-sation and it felt all new to her.
Samuel su-cked in the hollows of her n£¢k and squee-zed her left bo-ob , earning a slight m0@n from Cindy.
She was too s-en-sitive and she couldn’t deny the fact that she enjoyed it. She liked his t©uçh on her.
He turned her around to face him, her bo-ob s pressed against his ha-rd but broad che-st.
He k!$$£d her n£¢k, she shuddered and sighed.
He took herl-ips in his and k!$$£d her ravenously. She k!$$£d him back, not knowing when she wra-pped her arms around his n£¢k.
“I want you Cindy. I want to make love to you. Are you re-ady?” Samuel gro-an ed with so much de-sire in his voice and eyes.
Cindy nodded her head shyly. “Yes. I want you too .” She spoke softly but shyly.
Samuel smiled. Then, slowly, he moved his hand to the ti-p of her towel and loos£ned the knot. Her towel fell loosely on the floor, leaving her in her birthday suit.
Gently like he was afraid to hurt her, Samuel carried Cindy and la-id her on the be-d.
