Chapter 27: ANNA’S PLANS

He held her w@!st, his jaw rested on one shoulder. ” You look troubled. Tell me, what troubles you, my love?”
She exhaled heavily. ” Nothing.” She turned to look at him, forcing herself to smile. ” I am fine.” She lied.
” You do not look fine to me, there is something you are not telling me.”
” I don’t feel safe anymore.” She said, bitterly.
” Why would you say that?” He questioned.
” Because I am scared, Riguez. I am scared..”
” Scared of what?”
” Every thing. Nothing feels safe anymore, ” shooks her head. “especially to me.”
” This is… I don’t un-derstand. ”
She sniffed. ” Do you love me?” She asked instead.
” Of course, I do love you. I really do with all my heart.”
” What if I can’t have you forever despite our love for each other? Will you still remember me?”
” I will not answer that if you refuse to tell me what is going on. Enya, I am your husband and I deserve to know everything that bothers you.
I deserve to know what is and yet to happen because I chose to be with you and no one else.”
” Mother s£nt me a letter this morning, she said Arwen has gone missing for a week now. No one knows where she is but I think she isn’t missing.
Someone who knows she writes to me about Anna must have taken her un-der custody. ”
” You suspect some one? ” He asked and she nodded her head. ” Who? ”
” My sister, Anna.”
Riguez walked to sit on on one of the chairs, his hand ru-bbing his eyes. ” I thought this was over, why is she still after you?”
” I don’t know.” She walked to sit on a different seat, just close to his. ” No wonder why Arwen never wrote back to me since the day after our wedding.”
Sighed. ” I knew some thing was wrong. I once had a dream of Anna, she looked evil and… I don’t know. ”
” I must meet with your parents first by tomorrow, I nee-d to have this discussed with them. Are they aware of this alre-ady? ”
” I think so. But I doubt Arwen must have told them. Do you think it is safe leaving tomorrow? ”
” Do you suggest I leave today? Maybe tonight? ” He asked.
” No. No, that is not what I meant. ”
” When do you want me to go? ”
” Anytime. I… I’m just too scared, that’s all. ”
” Don’t worry, my love, no one is taking me from you. ”

~ AT THE OLD HUT ~

Anna had finished ma-king the black portion, dropping it in a cu-p.
She mixed it with the water, turning it vigorously with her first f!nger. She poured it all into her mouth at once, gulping it.
She waited for a minute or so to react in her b©dy, then she stared at herself at the mirror.
She looked different, changed, bearing the same look as Enya that one could ha-rd ly know who is who.
She moved her f!ngerson her face, loving the new look she beared. ” I’m coming home, my love. I’m coming home to have you to myself. ”
She bur-sted into a loud laughter.
She applied a little makeup on her face, changing to the same exact cloth Enya was putting on.
She waited until it was nightfall, then she made her way to the castle.

~ PENDAMOUR ~

King Neheb had just received the letter from Lord Rodriguez. With the letter being s£nt to him, he knew things had turned out pretty bad.
But to his surprise, Lord Rodriguez only s£nt the letter to inform him that he was coming to Pendamour by tomorrow.
Despite that, he still doubts every thing was alright. Some thing must have conspired to him coming over.
” What did it say?” Lady Moreen asked.
” He will be coming to Pendamour by tomorrow. I think Anna had invaded the castle. ”
” This is getting serious than it should be. Why would Anna want to create chaos between our families? Why would she have such an evil mindset for her sister all because of a man? ”
” I believed Anna to be such an innocent girl. She with Arwen… they were my favorite daughters. I did loved Enya but, ”
” I un-derstand. Enya might not be… I don’t know but I think I have always preferred her to the others. Though she is the desperate type of person, but she does that for a reason.
Maybe somehow she must have met with him in the past who knows. ”
” Why would you say that? ”
” A day after Enya quitted from the test, I showed your grand mother’s history. She felt desperate to know more, and I am very certain it was the reason she always sneaks out of the castle.
So, whatever reason Anna had for planing evil against her sister, then I think it’s something that has a lot to do with Lord Rodriguez’s love. ”
” What do you suggest we do about this? ” He thought.
” Despite Anna turning evil, she is still our daughter. First, we must find the witch who convinced her to this. ”
” What makes you think we can still find her after Arwen has reported her to us? She is a witch, Moreen, she is long gone to nowhere. ”
” I will leave to Brok by sun set. ” Arwen ch!pped in as she walked into the meeting hall.
” No, Arwen, you are going nowhere. I can’t risk losing you for the second time. ”
” Then will you love to risk Enya too? ” She queried. ” Right now, Anna is at Brok and we don’t know what she is up to.
If I go to Brok, I can convince Lord Rodriguez to her plans. ”
” There is no nee-d for that. ” Lady Moreen said.
” What? But why? ”
” Because he is journeying to Pendamour tomorrow morning. Maybe you should wait until then, we can all have this discussed and planned. ” She explained.
” Very well, if you say so. ”

Chapter 28: ERASED MEMORIES.

Enya sat by her window, staring out at nowhere. She had finished taking her bath, little water from her hair dropped to her back.
She misses Riguez. He had gone to Pendamour to meet with her parents for the case at hand.
She was likewise terrified of his safety, if Anna would hurt him even before he gets there.
She was beginning to wonder if she was the only one with a sister like this.
It would have been safer if she had a brother and Arwen, none of this would have been happening.
She folded her hair to one side, squee-zing out the little water contained in it.
She brou-ght her cream from her wardrobe, applying a little on it. Then she brushed her hair with her tooth comb, dressing it in a french style.
She ru-bbe-d herl-ipstick and a little powder, spending about three minutes of her time staring at herself at the mirror.
Within this three minutes, she thought of Riguez’s safety. She wasn’t comfortable, her heart troubled and beating ha-rd against her che-st.
Who is Anna after now? Her or… her husband??
” Joana?” She called, and quic-kly Joana was in.
” Yes, My Lady. ” She said with a bow.
” Let’s take a walk, I am feeling unease in here. ”
” Okay. ” They left the room, and out of the castle for a walk. ” Is there a problem, My Lady?” Joana started.
” Do you think there is?” Enya asked back.
” I do not know. But with the way things seems to be going on, I think there is. ”
Enya looked at her for a while.” I wish there isn’t… at all.”
” Is it so serious?” She asked.
” Yes.”
” Would you mind talking about it?” She inquired, ” You don’t have to if you don’t want to. ”
” If I betray you because you’re just a mere and pathetic slave who would do nothing but follow orders and then, I took the most important thing away from you… If you had the chance, what will you do to me? ”
“I wouldn’t mind pointing a sword on your n£¢k. I’d kill you.”
” Very smart of you. I would do the same if I were you. ” Exhaled heavily. ” My sister, she’s after me. Anytime from today, she’ll have me and there’s no running from it. I just have to be re-ady for whatever it is. ”
” Why is she after you? ” Joanna asked, inquisitively.
” Why do you think someone will be after someone like me?”
” Your throne?” She guessed.
” And why would you think someone would desperately want the throne? ”
” To be with the King? ”
Enya gently nodded her head. ” To be with His Majesty. ”
” But you are alre-ady married to His Majesty, what would she still want him for? ”
” Everything a woman would want in a man, ” looks at her, ” his love. ” She completed.
” What do you think of doing? ”
” I don’t know. I hope father will come up with a good decision on how to st©p her. ”
” Is that why His Majesty left the castle, to talk with your family? ”
She only nodded her head, saying nothing.
” I’m sorry this is happening to you. It’s only but a week of your marriage and all these is happening. I wish you can find peace with your life… this shouldn’t be happening. ” Shook her head.
” You don’t have to be worried about me, it is my burden I should carry alone. ”
” You are my queen and mistress, I have every right it takes to worry about you. All you have to do is to be careful, do not trust anyone not even me.
Even if she doesn’t enter the castle, then she will use one of us against you. And let’s just hope she doesn’t visit magic, or things will get a lot complicated.”
” She alre-ady has, that is why I seem more scared than I should. ”
” When I was little, my mother always told me the only thing strong enough to over come evil was love. Whatever kind of love it is, as far as it is real and true, nothing can stand against it.
You do love his majesty, don’t you? ” She asked, Enya nods. ” Then you have no reason to fear. For even if her plans must work, it won’t be for long. There is always a time for good to take over, and only patience can make this work ”
” I also trust His Majesty’s love for you, very soon you will be having a child, all these will turn out to be a history to tell. ”
Enya felt a bit relieved at Joana’s words, she never expected to be this relaxed.
“ The only thing strong enough to over come evil was love. There is always a time for good to take over, and only patience can make this work ”
The words kept consoling her the more. “ For even if her plans must work, it won’t be for long.”
” Thank you, Joana, for the encouragement. You do not know how happy I am for your words. I feel free and relieved now. ” She thanked.
” It’s nothing. I have promised myself to be there for Her Majesty, guess I’m ma-king up that promise now. ”

She enters the castle when no one knew, and straight to the kitchen she met the chief cook who was ma-king meal for lunch.
” Ma’am,” she faked her voice to Enya’s, trying as much as possible to wear the same smile as Enya. ” I was told this herb was good to maintain a delicate skin, I will love to have it in my drink this noon. ”
” Yes, My Lady. ” Said the cook, taking it from her hand. ” I’ll do as you have said.
” Thank you. ” She left the castle, a victorious smile pla-yed on herl-ips.
” This is only the beginning.” She sm-irked evilly, ma-king her way out of the castle.

” Oh, I feel hungry,” Enya sat as soon as they reached the castle. ” and tasty too.”
” I will request for your lunch as soon as possible.”
” Meet me at the dinning room, I will be waiting there.”
” Yes, ma’am.” Joanna left to the kitchen while Anna left to the dinning, waiting patiently for Joana to show up.
” Your lunch is re-ady, My Lady.” She said, dropping it in the table. ” And your water too.” Pouring some water into her golden cu-p.
After Enya had finished eating, she felt weak rather. ” I thought foods were supposed to give strength and not to weaken the b©dy, I feel damn weak. I think I nee-d some sleep.”
Joana cleared the table, and Enya left to her room. Throwing herself on her be-d, she immediately dozed off to sleep.
Joana watched from her magic water, laughing endlessly at her victory.
Now Enya is asleep, she will have the chance to do what she wants to do.
But not so fast, her b©dy still in the castle might create chaos. She made some incarnations, transferring her b©dy to the old hut she stays and her b©dy to the castle, pretending to be asleep.
Now her plans are perfect, winning Lord Rodriguez’s love was the next.
