“come on baby, we are gonna run late if you continue with this sluggish attitude of yours!”I rasp at Robyn who suddenly found it difficult to pu-ll those three sto-rey building heels she wanna wear
“not like we are going for a p@rty or something”I added and she paused wearing a pretentious frown
“the last time I checked Davis,we arefu-cking going for a meeting on your fathers movie industry’s anniversary”she rolled her eyes at me before resuming pu-lling the shoes over her feet
“it’s just a meeting on how we are gonna carry out the anniversary Robyn!
we just wanna prepare the company’s budget for the anniversary which is still months away!
I still don’t get why your stressing yourself with those shoes
you can make do with a flat shoe plea-se”I said and made to help out with the shoes when she sl@pped my hands off
“you see the reason why I don’t wanna go with you in the first place, your sure gonna leave me to myself when we get there
I don’t wanna get bored to death with all those company stuffs and anniversary whatever!
so….your gonna walk throu-gh that door alone for the meeting”she said and began shoving the heels aside
“hold on baby,are you joking or something”I asked and she yawned heavily
“this isn’t a joke Davis, am suddenly feeling sleepy”she said and I felt my head spinning
like seriously?
she just woke up few minutes ago and I had to sit my as-s down and while away the time so she could get re-ady for us to leave together and here she is,saying she isn’t going with me again!

it’s just for three hours
we won’t stay long, I promise you”I coped squ-atting towards her were she had sat on the be-d
“help me with the Zi-pper Davis
plea-se!” she pleaded and that was when it nudge at me that she’s being serious
I slowly took my hands to the Zi-pper, bringing it down slowly and steadily
“so what are you honnabe doing alone in the house?
you promised to come with me at first, why the sudden change of mind?”I asked c@r£ss!ngher smooth and flawless face with her thumbs
“I really would have loved to attend the meeting with you Davis, but I suddenly felt weak and all i wanna do this minute is….. eat and eat then sleep till your back”she replied pouting her prettyl-ips S-xily
“don’t you think you nee-d to see a doctor baby, you’ve been acting weird of recent!
ranging from too much eating to complaints, crying at unnecessary things and most time you puke every perfect morning
don’t you think your falling sick?”I asked watching her pu-ll the pretty ball go-wn she had wore off, revea-ling a tiny hand blouse and a bu-mshort
“well, I don’t see myself falling sick”she said climbing up the be-d
gawwwd!
she really wants to sleep?
“what should I get you on my way back?”I asked stealing a glance at my wrist watch
“I would appreciate it if you get me strawberry pizza,cakes, milkshakes and cookies”she said Andi nodded standing up from my squ-atting position
“get me chocolates too!
maybe you can add ice cream to it if you find any and plea-se Davis,get me fruit salad on your way back
I really nee-d it”she added and I nodded giving her a light pe-ck before picking up my briefcase
am alre-ady 15minutes late for the meeting alre-ady
“Davis!”she called and I took my attention back to her
“yes honey!”I urged her to go on with whatever she wanna say
“can you plea-se add French fries to it, if you see any?
and maybe you can add pepperoni to it if you see one”she said and I stared at her for a brief moment
a little smile tug at the corner of myl-ips
this pretty wife of mine won’t seize to amaze me
“yeah honey!
I will buy them all and even more!
how about adding a pretty banquet of flowers to it?”I asked knowing she love flowers
“oh! no!
I can’t eat flowers!
I nee-d something eatable am always famished”she cooed using a baby tone and I kept mute
“alright then,am on my way to the meeting honey!
and don’t forget to pu-ll a call across to the kitchen maids if you feel hungry”I said and she nodded placing her head gently on the pillow while I covered her up with the duvet, picked up my briefcase and began running down the stairs
can’t wait to get done with this meeting
am missing my wife alre-ady!!

you s£nt for me”I said bowing slightly
he puff out thick clouds of smoke from his pipe before motioning for me to take a seat which I did
“have gat another job for you Charles, and as usual
you know how it’s been done”boss said and I nodded attentively
“you are deligent in carrying out any as-signment given to you
that’s why I wanna trust this job in your care”the boss said and I nodded attentively
“you are to eliminate this target,kill without mercy!
it’s a big job and you would be nee-ding some of the boys to carry it out”the boss said and I smiled
Ifu-cking love risky adventures!

“am always re-ady sir”I said and he let out a throaty laughter smoking from his pipe
“what time am I suppose to strike sir and who’s the target?”I asked and he turned serious immediately
“like I said Charles,it’s a very big as-signment
and the lady who wants this job,doesn’t want us to reveal her identity
so therefore,I can’t tell you”the boss said and I nodded
“she wants the elimination of one of her husband’s children and she’s paying hvge for that”he said and puff out smoke from his mouth and nostrils
“the time for you to strike is few weeks from now
according to our spy,the anniversary is coming up in few months time and that’s the time you nee-d to strike”the boss said and I nodded
“sir! can I atleast get a picture of my target?”I asked and he relaxed on his office chair, swivelling it around
“he’s someone everyb©dy knows”he said handing me the picture of an handsome young man
“hold on, isn’t this……..”

….At Texas largest movie industry-Anniversary day…….9:24am

we slowly alighted from the car and Davis gave me a hand as we alighted from the car
the driver parked the car properly while the securities covered us up immediately
this is gonna be my first time seeing the much talk about Texas largest movie industry which belongs to Davis father,Mr hvggins and today marks the 15th year of it’s existence
everywhere looked super beautiful and radiant as Davis and I walked down the aisle towards our reserved seat
i caught sight of Mr hvggins and his three wives, Mrs hvggins wore same matching clothes with her husband while the other wives wore entirely different clothes
melodious tune were being pla-yed from the back ground
everyb©dy sat on a magnificent table, in two’s and three’s
we got to our reserved table and we both sat down while the waitress or perhaps caterals kept moving to and fro with different drinks and dishes
my eyes locked with Mrs hvggins and she gave me a warm smile which i returned
different artists c@m£ on stage and began entertaining the audience
ma-king the atmosphere,more colourful
“hey!baby
are you okay?”Davis asked his hands on a wine bottle
“yeah am fine!”i replied nonchalantly
i love p@rtying but this one doesn’t seems to catch my fancy
all i just wanna do is to go back home
i really wasn’t relaxed
Davis pop open the wine and decanted some of it into a glas-s cu-p and hand it over to me while he decanted another for himself
i kept on staring at the glas-s cu-p without tou-ching it
i really don’t know what’s wrong with me but i just don’t feel comfortable being here
“hey babe!
what’s wrong?
don’t you like it?”he asked and i heaved a sigh
“Davis”i called and he placed a hand on his chin, staring keenly at me
“can we just go back home plea-se?”I asked and he giggled
“seriously?
you got to be kidding me wify!
we just got in here
we haven’t even spend up to 15minutes here!
dad’s gonna be disappointed and embarras-sed if i bail out of the p@rty
besides my pres£nce here is urgently nee-ded”he said and i rolled my eyes at him,taking a sip from the glas-s

this really taste good
i gulp it down in a sec and Davis decanted yet another glas-s for me
Davis was busy with his phone while i kept on s£nding those crazy friends of mine tones of messages but got no reply
seems they both are faraway from their phones
we were half way into the p@rty when avlady walked up to us, or should i say Davis!
she looked damn beautiful and h0t but she looks more or less a slut,considering the pretty go-wn she had wore which had some fancy tearings on it
ma-king it revea-ling and i could see some p@rt of her bo-ob s which were visible in the go-wn
she walked up to Davis, giving him a pe-ck on his cheeks
“woah!
see who we have here”she added flinging her hair in a fashion way
“what do you want?”Davis asked and…..what the hell!!, she sat on the table, sitting face him
hold on,i really don’t get what she’s up to!
who the hell is she???
“get off the table Jemima!
all eyes are on us”Davis said inaudibly yet so authoritatively
“whatever Davis!
they can stare for all i care, I don’t own thier eyes you know”she said letting out a brief laughter
“by the way Davis, your looking S-xy as ever”she said and i could swear i hadn’t heard her
i tapped the table in an angry manner, ma-king her turn her attention towards me
“can you plea-se get off the table plea-se”i said abr@sively and she raised her nose up in a sneer

who are you plea-se?”she asked and i smiled warmly
“i should be asking you that pretty!
now get off before i shove you myself “i ordered and she slowly turned towards Davis
“that’s my wife Jemima!
and you’ve gat to respect her”he said to her and her eyes shone
she got off the table immediately and embr@ced me though i didn’t reciprocate it
“it’s good to see you Mrs Davis!
you are pretty”she complimented and I smiled

“you never told me you would be coming with her Davis”she turned towards Davis
“there’s no point telling you about it, you should know that “Davis said
his eyes still fixed on his phones
“alright then!
it was nice meeting you, have gat something i wanna check out
see ya” she waved and walked out even before i could reply her
the looks on her face…..i really don’t know,but i could tell she’s not happy
the reason behind it,I really don’t know
Mr hvggins rose up immediately the priest gave the opening prayer
he went on stage and got hold of a mic
“Good day ladies and gentle men!
i really wanna thank you all for honouring my invitation and for joining this industry for her 15th year Anniversary
As you all know, D.H movie industry is the largest in Texas and it’s surrounding environs
as such, i would like to appeal to staffs, stakeholders and nonstaffs to keep up the good work!
As far as D.H is concern, we are for the best only and if we can continue working together like we’ve all been doing, the sky is going to be our limit”Mr hvggins ended his speech admists cheers and a standing ovation
the p@rty had begun proper and i made sure i eat almost everything that comes my way
“stay ti-ght baby!
am gonna be back in a jiffy”Davis said and i paused with the wine glas-s halfway to my mouth
“where are you heading to baby!
i can’t stay alone”i pouted and he smiled pu-lling my cheeks tenderly
“i will be back soon,just wanna see a friend or two”
i promise I won’t stay long”he said and gave me a pe-ck before dashing off with his securities all around him
i place an ice in my wine glas-s and kept on sipping slowly
“hello dearie”i heard a voice and turned towards the owner, only to see that young lady with another lady whose dressing wasn’t different from hers
“hi
plea-se what’s the name again?”i asked cheerfully and she smiled too
“Jemima!”she voice out
“meet my friend Amanda,Amanda meet Davis wife”she introduced and i turned towards the young lady, taking her hands in an hand shake
“you looked more beautiful than Jemima had describe-d you, am honoured to meet you”she said said excitedly and we all giggled
“it’s nice having you guys around you know,
we might end up being good friends”i said and they both glance at each other
“oh! yeah!”they both chorused simultaneously
it’s kinda looks suspicious tho!
“are you both okay?”i asked concernly
“oh! yes we are”Jemima quic-kly replied bringing out a cu-p of ice cream from her bag

i really nee-d this”i excitedly snatched it from her pla-yfully
“can i have it?”i asked when she didn’t react
“yeah! yeah!
you can”she replied smiling and i began eating it right away
i caught sight of them smiling at each other
well,whatever it is, is their business and not mine
