“What are you doing?? What are we doing here???” She yelled stupefied.
“I’ll handle this.” Ryan said showing up.
He gr@bb£d ju-icy ‘s wrist and made her face him instantly.
He looked into her eyeba-lls trying to compel her but it wasn’t working on her.
“What are you doing?” She asked fli-ckering her eyelashes.
Ryan was astound to hear her say that. She wasn’t supposed to ask him that or even do anything that shows her resistance.
“Sit down.” He said giving another sh0t at compelling her but it also proved fruitless.
“I don’t want to sit down, I demand an explanation. How did I get here? What are you all doing here as well??” She asked infuriated with the funny things he was doing with his eyes.
“And you, why did you bite her n£¢k? You have blood all over you for peace sake. What are you? A vampire???” She asked Spike ma-king them flin-ch in amazement.
She knew what they were.
“This is a nightmare.” Spike muttered slowly wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
“We nee-d to go, now!” Ryan said and Julian and Darrell heard him with their ability to hear conversations far away.

“Drive slow plea-se.” ju-icy couldn’t help but say to the driver since he was moving in such a rush.
“Keep going fast.” Spike compelled him and he kept moving in a haste.
Ryan glared at ju-icy wishing he could compel her to jump into an ocean and drown.
She has been talking too much since they left the club and kept demanding for an explanation so Spike had to tell her what they were and what they do on most nights.
Everything is just scre-wed up and Ryan never expected this to happen.
“No wonder I’ve not been having enough sleep, it’s purely because four vampires kidnapped me to going places with them. You guys are so selfish.” She bluntly said recollecting what she had discovered.
“Are you not scared that we can murder you and make no one find out about this?” Julian asked her from the second row seat in the family van car.
“I have a stubborn spirit, kill me and you’ll regret it for the rest of your life, pu.nks” She confidently replied and Darrell smiled at her bold voice.
“You are going to keep this a secret, right?” Spike asked clenching his first slowly.
Ryan felt it and he glanced at him wondering if he wanted to kill her in case if she said ‘No’.
“Don’t ask me that. How do you expect me to keep quiet about this bad acts. You’re taking people out in the middle of the night without their approval—”
“ju-icy , it is not a request. You’ll have to keep your mouth shut. You have to. We never chose to be vampires. You nee-d to help us so we can survive, alright? Imagine the whole school knowing that we are vampires and they attempt to kill us. You know we are harmless, right?” Darrell said calmly and ju-icy happened to calm down from the tension.
“Fine. I’ll think about it. We are alre-ady at school. Just stay away from me. This is a whole lot to take in in one night.” She mumbled as the car st©pped before the school gate.
As she walked slowly to the girl’s dorm, she wondered why Ryan has been quiet all along. He must be very shocked and could be having a stro-ke, she concluded.
Ryan didn’t go with them to the girl’s dorm since his d@t£ can do just fine without him.
He still doesn’t trust her though. He still have to find something that would make her agree to keep the secret no matter what.
He can definitely handle that…

NEXT DAY • MORNING
ju-icy j£rked up from her be-d like she had experienced a bad dream the previous night but instead, it was about the vampire boys she figured out.
It wasn’t really a dream.
She met vampires last night!
Astrid ran to her be-d excitedly.
“ju-icy !! Have you heard? Guess what i heard this morning??” She asked twirling around in her bogus night dress.
She is stunned for a moment but closes up her austere expression.
“What? I’m just waking up. I haven’t heard…” She replied and Astrid frowned.
“You are always outd@t£d bestie! Well, I heard that a new principal is resuming work today. He’s also the wealthy son of a rich man and also very cute! I just can’t believe it!! A young h0t principal… Oh heavens!!” She announced in escalation.
“Goodness. What if he’s married and here you are being too giggly all of a sudden.” ju-icy uttered rolling her eyes.

Ryan left the dorm earlier than his friends and was taking a stroll around the school. His hands were in his pockets and his hoodie covering his head.
“That girl is so annoying.” He muttered with his eyes fixed on the ground.
“Ryan…I’m here.” A voice said ma-king him look around curiously.
He finally saw the person beckoning him, it was Maddy dressed in a red fitted suit.
If it wasn’t for her herl-ips, she wouldn’t have recognized her.
“Maddy? What are you doing here and why are you dressed so professional??” He asked with scorn.
“Why do you look so surprised? Didn’t I tell you about my new job, well, it doesn’t matter – I’m here to stay. See you at the as-sembly.” She replied and win-ked at him before walking away.

I would like to apologize for the del@yof the story. The exams caused it to be extended so much and I’m finding it very ha-rd continuing because the zeal is no longer there but I’ll do all I can to finish the book despite lots of people ditchimg the story.
Personally, I wish I can delete the previous chapters and begin a new book but unfortunately, most of you claimed to still continue the book. I’ll honor the comments and write the book but you have to pl@yyour p@rt by being active with comments and likes. I nee-d to know that I’m not alone on this and those who commented are actually re-ady to support me. If I pick up a regular posting pace and the encouragement is too poor, I’ll have to st©p no matter what.

“Maddy! St©p, right now. What the he.ck are you here for?” He hurled his words and she st©pped walking.
“Just be happy that I’m here.” She muttered and continued her exit.
Ryan was confronted by his friends the moment he entered the dorm and met them getting re-ady for the as-sembly.
“Why do you look sick?” Spike asked him first and he sighed.
“Maddy is here. As the new principal’s as-sistant. I don’t know what she’s up to but we can’t b!ow our cover.” He replied sitting on Darrel’s be-d.
The rest of the boys glanced at each other not knowing what to say.
“It won’t hurt if we got rid of her. She’s a pest. Here to ruin us more. She’s not satisfied with the incident in the woods.” Spike pointed out with a malicious grin.
“We can’t attack her until we see shat her recent moves are gonna be. She might not mean too bad but once she does something funny, we can figure out what to do.” Justin suggested leaving Spike irritated. He has always been the violent member of the group.
“I figured out how we can deal with ju-icy .” Ryan spoke up and they exchanged stares.
“Who is ju-icy ?” A chorus question popped up immediately.
“She is the one that wasn’t affected last night. The only person that knows our secret in this whole school.” He said whispering that the boys could hear him clearly because of their vampire ability but the other ordinary boys around couldn’t get a letter.
“I found out a lot about here. So, here’s the plan. I’m sure she won’t keep her mouth shut for long so let’s befriend her and make her feel casual with us but we’ll take any chances we get to be alone with her close friend, Astrid. We will take nu.de ph0tos of her and threaten ju-icy with it. If she says something about us, we upload everything for the whole world to see. Done deal?” He asked after a pause and they agreed immediately.
“I will handle Maddy’s case. I’ll keep closer eye on that craz.y woman. Her motives can’t be hidden for long, I’m sure.” Spike said but Ryan was too tired to object to it.
They all agreed before they heard the bells ring loudly.
“Great, let’s go meet the new so called principal.” Justin said and they prepared together.

ju-icy , Astrid and Heather were done getting re-ady and headed for the as-sembly.
“A new principal definitely means new problems.” Heather said rolling her eyes.
“What do you mean by that?” Astrid asked squinting her eyes.
“We are alre-ady used to the old principal and now, someone new shows up, re-ady to change things. And who the he.ll would buy such a school that is so isolated?—”
“Okay, that’s enough Heather. You know what can happen if someone hears you talking about this. It’s pure gossip. Let’s just get to the as-sembly first.” ju-icy cut her off bluntly.
There was a few seconds of silence when someone dropped his hand on ju-icy ‘s shoulder. In shock, she flin-ched looking at her side to see one of the guys from last night. She could remember his name too – Darrell.
“Hi ju-icy .” He greeted with a friendly smile that made his dimples emerge.
“Why don’t we walk you ladies to the as-sembly?” Another voice c@m£ from behind Astrid and it was Spike.
The girls were dumbstruck to see the four boys around them and walking with them.
“Where the shreck did they appear from?” ju-icy whispered not knowing the boys heard her loud and clear.
Ryan was walking along but not close to them. He had his hands in his pockets and his head facing the ground.
She noticed this and frowned at how distant he always was…annoying!
“I’m gonna deal with you later, you never told me these h0t guys were your friends.” Astrid whispered pinching on her skin a little.
“Ouch.” She mumbled out and she saw the they were now in front of the hall.
Other students were trooping in in excitement. At a little distance, Bella, the school sweetheart was observing how the guys she was admiring were with girls she never actually noticed.
It stirred so much anger in her but there was nothing she could do at that point.
“Gosh! I forgot my inhaler!” ju-icy yelled almost getting on the first step.
Ryan lifted his eyebrow to look at her.
“What? How did we forget that?? Come on, let’s go…” Astrid offered but she st©pped them.
“We’ve come too far. You nee-d to go in. I’ll be back shortly. Won’t take time…” ju-icy rushed her words before running off.
The rest entered the hall including Ryan but just when there was no attention towards him, he zoomed out of the hall heading for the girl’s dorm.
