“Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh……….”Sharon yelled out as the man came after her with a knife in his hand..
She dogde the first try by moving to the other side of the room but that didn’t stop him from coming again.
He tried to cut her again but she moved away quickly again but he managed to tear a bit of her flesh,her upper arm.
“Come here! You little fly!”The man said ready to kill her.
On hearing his determined voice, Sharon ran up the stairs, taking it two at a time and some times three at a time.
She got to her room and locked the door breaking the key in its hole.
She stared at her cut arm to see it pouring out blood bit by bit.
It might be a small cut but she had a lot of blood, blood which were now staining the white shirt of her uniform.
She had totally forgotten about the man wanting to kill until she heard his foot steps on the stairs.
Getting scared, Sharon began pushing things by the door to hold it.
While pushing a chair to hold the door, the crazy man out side stick his hand in to the wooden door, the knife In his hands nearly hit Sharon.
Seeing this Sharon fell back on the floor feeling scared for her life and also wishing that some one will come to her aid.
Her bag was down stairs and there was no way to communicate her.their house is a two story building which seemed very high,if she even try to jump down from the window,she will be signing her own death, she thought as she stared at the broken door which the crazy man was still sticking his knife in like a crazy fellow.
Will this be the end for her? She didn’t get to tell her mom good bye, she still hadn’t accomplish her goal in life and she still hasn’t filled her most greatest wish, Se still haven’t met the love of her life, a promise she had made to her self when she and her friend were in high school.
She has to fulfill all of this before she died, she thought as she was brou-ght back to reality when she heard a sound by the door.
He was sticking his hand throu-ghthe door again but instead he began hitting the door trying to get in and also making the things she had put there move away.
When he finally got to open the door, she was crying already. Crying for her life which she didn’t get to fulfil.
She closed her eyes while waiting for the inevitable pain of the knife but it didn’t come instead she heard some one voice, a familiar voice which kept on calling her.
She opened her eyes to see Louis starring down at her, still looking bruised from his fight with Harvey earlier and also he…..he looked worried.
“Are you okay? Answer me Sharon!”Louis called as he stared at her bloody arm
Sharon stayed quiet in his arms whole he fussed over her.
“This won’t do! I will have to get you to the doctor, any one! Is any……”Louis stopped when Sharon hu-gged him ti-ght.
He stared at the slim figure which held him ti-ghtly.
“I was so scared….I was so scared”she said as she kept on crying in his arms.
Louis held her ti-ghtly too, he knew how she felt too when he had had walked into the house with the guards to see it all disheveled, he had been scared, scared that some thing had happened to her.
And when he saw the bastard who wanted to kill her stabbing the door like a mad man, he went to him, hitting him ha-rd on the floor, the guards who came with him took charge of the man while he opened the door to find Sharon wounded and on the floor.
“Your highness, the police have arrived”One of the guards said interrupting the both of them.
“Let them in and make sure they do their job on the house and every where else and most importantly let them get that man out of here and make sure they question him”he said.
“Yes your highness”The guard replied and walked off with two more guards
Louis stood up with Sharon still crying in his arms and carried her into his arms,holding her ti-ght in his arms.
“I….I can walk”she managed to say softly
“You are still in shock, just hold onto me”Louis said as he stared at her.
She held him ti-ght burying her face in his arms while two guards accompany them out of the house to the car.
When the two of them were settled in the car, Sharon who had stopped crying turned to stare at Louis
“Where are we going to?”she asked
“To the palace”He replied as he kept on starring at bloody arm
“But…..”
“You are I’ll right now and the only place meant for you is at the palace, there you will be watched over and taken care of “Louis said cutting off her word.
She layed back, wincing when she remembered that she had been cut by that crazy masked man.
She felt Louis unbu-ttoning her sleeves and she turned to stare at him
“What are you doing ?”she asked starring at him
“I want to get a close look at your injury “He said as he held her hand when she would have pulled away.
He began to pull the sleeves up until he got to where she had been cut
“Judging from the way it looks, it’s really de-ep”He said starring at the wound and then he stared at the driver
“Hurry up and get to the palace on time, My wife nee-ds to be seen by a doctor”He said to the driver and then he kept on examining her wound, he didn’t notice the way Sharon was starring at him.
This is the first time he would refer to her as his wife ? She thought and she couldn’t the thrill she felt in hearing him calling her that.
She was still starring at him when he looked up to stare at her too, for a while they both stared at each other, lost in each other eyes only the jolting of the car and the driver calling out to them that brou-ght them back to reality.
Some guards had been positioned by the door and while they came to open the door, some went to Sharon wanting to help her into the palace but louis got to them on time and carried her in his arms again.
“I can walk in by my self”Sharon said softly
“Like I said before, you are ill and still in shock, so just hold onto me”He said as he carried her past the guards,maids and also the medical team who were already waiting for them by the door.
She was about to relax when she noticed some people up stairs starring at the two of them.
She recognise the king and Gladys, Nick grand ma and also a woman who stood beside the king starring at them.
Some how seeing the three of them over there made her feel scared, some thing which Louis didn’t miss seeing.
“Don’t worry, I will take care of you and also protect you”Louis said as if he could read her thoughts.
She turned to stare at him and the determined look on his face told her that he meant what he just and if only he knew how much that word meant to her, she thought as she rested in his arms more comfortably.
“In my life, have seen a lot of brides entering into her husband home In a lot of ways but never this one”The Queen said beside the king along and also Gladys.
“Your majesty….your tea is here”the escourt announced
“Let them in!”The queen said as she walked to the table to get one cu-p of tea for her self
“The new bride really know how to get a lot of people attention”she added after sipping her tea
“Attention? You call being attacked and almost killed getting attention ?”Gladys asked as she turned to stare at the queen.
“Of course! Why make such a fuss when it’s just a mere cut”the queen said again.
“The poor girl was almost killed and ……”
“But she didn’t die right! She made it and now have every one worrying over her”the queen said cutting Gladys off
“Right! How can I forget how inconsiderate you are! You will never think of others but your self, I wouldn’t be surprise of some one told me that you were the one behind……”
“That’s enough mom!” The king spoke up for the first time
“But…..”
“Enough you too!”He said to his wife cutting her off
“I nee-d to talk to the queen for a while, can you please excuse us”He said to his mom who gave him an angry look before leaving the balcony.
Gladys kept walking, heading to the palace little hospital, it had been done there for the use of the royal family.
She stood by the door telling the escourt not to announce her arrival.
She was about to go in when she heard Louis conversation with the doctor.
“I nee-d to go and get the blood my self”The doctor said
“You don’t have to, if Sharon will nee-d any blood, she will have to take mine”Louis said
“But never have we commoners taken the blood of the royal family” the doctor said
“Sharon is not a commoner, she is my wife and also a royal as you say, forget about the blood you are going to get and help me give my wife blood, her life is very important to me” Louis said as they walked further into the room.
Gladys stood by the door, feeling shocked and scared.
“Her life is very important to me”
Louis words kept on coming back to her and she held her che-st in pain.
No! It can’t happen.it certainly can’t happen again, she thought as she held her che-st.

“Okay this silence is choking me ready, will you just tell me what you have to tell me your majesty!”The queen asked as she stared at her husband who was enjoying his own cu-p of tea.
“I thought you would never speak”he said having a smile on his face
“You find this situation amusing, you really are some thing your majesty!” She said as she put down her cu-p of tea in an inelegant way.
“I didn’t ask to talk to you just to hear you whining and……”
“Whining? You call this whining! He knew, he knew that She belonged to Harvey and yet he stole her away and what did his majesty do about that, he helped his favourite son and even got them married in secret”She yelled at him
“Bring down your voice”He said steely and that calmed her down a bit.
“Where is Harvey right now?”he asked
“Went to stay in town with his friends” she replied
“Call him and tell him to come back home, he will have to welcome the new royal member”He said
“Did I hear you right your majesty?”She asked
“You heard me perfectly.Bring Harvey home, we will be having a family dinner and she will be welcomed like it should be “He said as he stood up to leave.
“What are you trying to gain here? Are you trying to see the two boys kill each other?”The queen asked
“Of course not! How will you say that to me! After all am their father “He said
“A father who isn’t seeing reason at all, Louis took away Harvey other half and instead if doing some thing, you are helping him do more harm, how cruel can you be your majesty” the queen asked totally vexed
“This is not me being cruel, it’s me being reasonable, see you at the dinner my dearest queen and make sure Harvey show up, if he doesn’t, you will facing my anger “He said and walked out of the balcony leaving the queen angry and more hateful.
“Sharon!”Louis called as he walked into the room which she was being treated.
The doctors had checked on her and they did the necessary things required to a wound , she was now dressed in a beautiful gown which complimented her skin but what still puzzles her is that they are still keeping her here and she wondered why.
She doesn’t want to stay in the palace, seeing the faces of those people earlier made her feel strange, staying here certainly makes her feel very bad and the earlier she tells Louis that she wants to leave, the better for every one, she thought as she was back to reality by Louis who was calling her.
He walked in and seeing him again made her Remember the cool way he handled the situation earlier.
Other girls who faint over him will certainly have loved him more if what had happened to her happened to them with Louis around to help, they would have loved him more , she thought as she stared at him being accompanied in by the doctor.
“How are you ?”He asked having that charming smile on his face again.
Some thing she rarely sees, she thought as she kept on gawking at him.
“Fine! I think I am ….or I am”She said feeling a bit unsure of her health
“Well you are better but not fully recovered, you still have to get some blood into that system of yours”he said
“Blood?”She asked
“You lost a lot of blood before you got here and so you will nee-d more blood”The doctor said this time.
“Will I be injected because I hate injection and……what?”she asked when the two men kept on starring at her
“Have you forgotten that you are one of us, you don’t nee-d to be Injected at all, you only nee-d to bite some one and then you get your lost blood back, you are a vampire after all”The doctor said
Louis noticed the way she stiffened when she heard the word vampire and he knew that it would be some thing difficult for her to do.
Just a month ago she was still a human and now having to do all this is some thing that is very new to her.
“Why don’t you leave us alone”He said to the doctor who had first hesitated but when he saw the look on the crown prince face,he bowed softly and left the room
“Hey. What’s wrong?”He asked softly and Sharon stared at him.
She didn’t realise that the doctor had left and that she and Louis were the only one around.
“Nothing! I just….I just don’t like seeing my self as …as a….” She stopped
“You don’t have to say it, I also don’t like seeing my self that way but then I am what I am and there is no denying it”
“But I wasn’t this when I was born, I wasn’t like this, I was a perfect human but all that changed when I got to this town, I don’t even remember how I became one”she said and thought of what he did that day.
If only she could remember, what will she do? He thought you himself for a while.
“You don’t have to trouble your self over being a vampire, you are who you are Sharon and no one will ever change it”he said softly and that made her look at him.
They stared at each other for a while and when she began feeling some strange s-ns¶tion, she looked away.
“You said some thing about me having to take blood, from what I know and watch about them, they…..bite people just to do that”she said softly
“Yes. We do bite people but not that much, we only bite those who are tend to be a threat to Berline town, we aren’t like those things you watch on TV, they lie some times”he said softly and she smiled
“So now that we have moved over a phase, why don’t we move over the second one”Louis said softly
“Which is?”she asked starring at him
He stood up and unbu-tton his shirt, just enough to show a bit of his throat.
Seeing Sharon look away made him smile, such an innocent, he thought as he moved towards her again.
“Bite me!”He said softly
“What?”
“You nee-d blood and mine is the only that can be of help right now,others tend to drink from humans or animals, Dont get me wrong when I say human, i mean the evil ones, ones that tend to do bad and since you are now from a royal family, you can’t drink from an animal, it’s forbidden to us and since there is no human available at the moment, I think I will be enough”he said
“But I can’t! I still can’t do it “she said as she moved away from him
“Of course, you are weak and you nee-d blood and besides what are husband and wife for?”He said softly
“Am not in the mood to joke Louis”She said softly
“Let me do this! I will willingly give you my blood when and wherever “he said and she felt that s-ns¶tion again.
It’s best that she just take what he is offering and leave immediately, the more she stay s around Louis, the more she will lose her senses.
“So?”Louis asked pointing at his ne-ck.
“Fi…fin…fine”she stammered and he laughed before moving towards her so she could seek access to his throat.
She moved towards him and bite into his skin, having a feel of her vampire powers.
She loved it,she thought as she kept on drinking his blood, breathing his scent and and enjoying every piece of him
“What are you doing !!!”Gladys voice broke the two of them apart.
Sharon with her mouth still covered with blood stared at the old lady and Louis who was surprised by his grand mother behaviour stared at her too.
“What are you two doing?”she asked again
“Am giving her blood”Louis said
“You fool! Come here”she yelled at him pulling him by his hand and taking him our side.
On seeing the two Royals, the escourt around them excused them.
“Whats wrong grand ma?”Louis asked
“You are not suppose to do that Louis, why the hell did you give her your blood ?”She yelled at him
“She nee-ded it grand ma? “He said
“Tell me some thing, are you having any R0m-ntic feeling for that girl?”She asked
“Why do you ask?” Louis asked in return
“Just answer me ?”She yelled at him
“Grand ma”he said starring at the strange woman in front of him, why is she acting this way,he thought to him self .
