“I have to talked to my father, get out of the way?”Harvey yelled at the escourt who were standing the door about to announce his arrival.
They moved out of the way while he barged into the room to see his father eating.
How can he eat when some thing like this is going on.
“If you are angry and you are about to take it out on me, I suggest you leave cause I dont want my appetite being ruined” The king said
“How could you! How could you do such a thing, have lived my life waiting for my other half and when I do find her, it turns out that sneaky brother have made her his already and you! My father helped him achieve all of it!”He yelled at Him as the king dropped his cutlery to stare at him.
“Don’t make a fuss, you were not too quick in taking what’s yours ”
“How should I have known that my brother has his sight on her, how should I have known?”Harvey yelled out.
“When you get to know who your prospective bride is, you tend to take action immediately, you lost her to your brother, so just give up and let it go” the king said
“Never! How can I let it go when she will be coming here to live as his wife, I will watch her from afar while he….he”
“Then do some thing about it, stop talking and act, you want your bride back then do what you must to get her” the king said
“I certainly will do that and I hope you won’t back Louis up this time because I intend to act crazy just to get my bride back”Harvey said
“Feel free to do what ever you want to do and you can be rest as-sured, I won’t bother with you or Louis “the king said as he continued with his food.
“I hope so!”He said and turned to leave
“One more thing! I don’t want what happened this morning at your school happening again, apart from other things, we have our reputation at stake and I certainly don’t want it to get more ruined” the king said and Harvey nodded and left his room heading to his mother chambers.
“You have been like this since yesterday? Will you tell me what’s going on now?”The queen said starring at her son who looked very angry.
“That bastard! Louis took away my bride mom, he made her his knowing she was mine”he said
“Don’t tell me that the marriage they were talking about is his marriage to that girl !” The queen asked and Harvey nodded.
“She was suppose to be mine mom, she was suppose to be mine”Harvey said
“This is bad,if Louis is married, the crown goes to him, he will be the next king and you…..”
“We nee-d to do some thing, we possibly can’t let him have the crown,let’s find another bride for you or better yet let’s kill Louis new bride and then……”
“What are you saying mom? “Harvey yelled cutting her short
“Have you even been listening to me?”He asked
“Of course I have and that is why we must make sure that Louis doesnt get the throne and…..”
“It’s about the darn throne again! You never seem to think of how I feel, the only thing you think of is your darn throne!”He yelled at her

“Think what ever you want Harvey. I brou-ght you into this world just so you could get the throne, have suffered a lot, I suffered Harvey and you know it”
“I was never wanted and so the king’s mother treated me like thrash, the king himself ha-rdly sees me as a woman, am always being looked down by Louis and his sister and even when I was being treated like thrash,I never gave up, I never left, I knew that someday I will get to pay them back for what they did to me”
“You were a blessing when you came to me,I tolerated every insults from them all just for you, just for this day and yet you say I don’t think about you ?”she asked looking very angry
“Am sorry mom, I didn’t mean to say all that”He said quickly
“Then do the right thing Harvey, it’s either we kill his bride or take her from him just like he did”The queen said
“What do you suggest we do mom”He asked
“I already have some thing planned”She said giving him a smile.
The king sat in his chambers, still enjoying his food when his mother walked in.
“Wont you all let me enjoy this food in peace “He said softly
“I heard it!”She yelled at him
Heard what”He asked as he kept on eating
“I heard what you said to Harvey? How could you say that him? Instead of making matters die down, you are escalating it “She yelled at him and he stopped eating
“You finally succeeded in ruining my appetite”He said as he stood up
“Peter! for crying out loud you are deliberately putting your son’s against each other !”She yelled at him
“Putting them against each other you say ?”He said laughing out harshly.
“Yes, what you told Harvey will certainly fuel his anger? Didn’t you think of that?”She yelled at him
“Why should it bother me? Louis stole Harvey bride and so it’s only right that he tries to get her back!”
“You know what will happen, those boys have been distant enough from each other, they even hate them selves and by doing this things will get worst!”She said
“They aren’t boys mom! They are grown ups, they know right from wrong and so there is nothing I can do to stop them”he said turning to leave
“It’s because of what happened at the past right?, You are angry because of what happened”She said
“If I were, you wouldn’t be here mom”He said softly
“I know am to be blamed for what happened in the past, get back at me instead! Get me to regret what happened, punish me but don’t let those boys go throu-ghthe same thing believe me when I say that I did it for you!”She said
“Just shut up!!”He yelled at her and she stopped what ever she was about to say to stare at her son.
Never had she seen him looking this angry! She thought as she stared at him.
“Don’t you ever tell me that you did it for me and don’t ! You ever bring up the past again”He said and walked out of the room.
Gladys sighed as she watched her son walking off.
He is still bent on letting the past take over his life and now he wants it to take over his sons life too.
It will surely be deadly, it will be deadly she thought as she also walked out of the room.
“School today was quite boring, well except for what happened……Sharon are you listening to me?” Nina stopped what she was saying to at Sharon who looked a bit gloomy.
“Down to earth Sharon!”Nina said pulling her arm and Sharon turned to her
“Am sorry I was some where else ?”Sharon said as she gave her a smile.
She has been worried ever since she had left Louis at the infirmary.
Just a question had riled him up and she has been wondering ever since why he had acted that way, could it be that the fight between the two had been because of her?
“Right! Like I was saying before,I said that school today is boring apart from what happened earlier. Two brothers fighting, isn’t that great!”Nina said as she gave her a smile
“Great? What do you mean by great? They almost killed each other!”Sharon said
“They did it for you after all”Nina said and that stopped Sharon.
“What did you just say? “She asked
“I said they did it for you.from the rumours that have been going around, every one thinks that they both fought because of you”Nina said
“I don’t think so, why would they fight because of me? I doubt it”Sharon said as she Shaked her head negatively.
She had just been thinking the same thing, Louis might have a reason to fight over her but why would Harvey do that? She thought.
“I also thought the same thing but rumour has it that…..come over here”Nina said as she pulled Sharon towards her to whisper into her ear.
“Rumour has it that Louis stole you from Harvey !”Nina said softly and Sharon stared at her.
What exactly does she mean?.

“Stole me from Harvey? But I never belonged to any one of them in the first place”Sharon stated
“Well, that is just the rumour that I heard and I don’t any thing about it again”Nina said
Sharon stood for a while, trying to grasp what Nina just said.
She never got close to Harvey and neither did she belonged to him, come to think of it after being sick for a week, she woke up to be told that she will be getting married to Louis but she never knew why? Well apart from what her mother told her about her grand father having made a promise to getting her married to his grand son.
The reason given certainly doesn’t call for a marriage which leads her to some thing, her mother and every one are keeping some thing from her, when she got sick,some memory had been taken from her and she have got to recall it if she wants to solve all this puzzle.
They were still walking off when she saw Louis getting into a luxurious car while Mary got in with him too.
“Mary is really close to Louis right?”She asked
“Of course! Her being his sister is some thing that….. .”
“Sister? You mean Mary is Louis biological sister?”She asked
“Of course, didn’t you know?”Nina asked
“I…I never knew” Sharon replied not that sure of her answer any more.
Some how she felt that she already knew that Mary was Louis sister but she had forgotten.
Did she lose a part of her memory when she was sick? She thought to her self.
Mean while Louis took a seat in his chambers while Mary fussed over him wanting to make him comfortable.
“I think that’s enough now! Thanks sis you can leave as it is”he said and Mary would have refused their grand mother hadn’t walked in asking Mary to leave , so she can talk to Louis alone.
As soon as as Mary left the room, Louis stared at his grand ma seeing the worried look on her face.
“What’s wrong ?”he asked when she took so long to talk
“When will Sharon be coming to live with you?”she asked
“Does she have to do that ?”Louis asked in return
“Once two people are married, they have to live together and so you two will have to go throu-ghthe same phase, except you want people to talk about you !”She said
“Well then I guess we will have to live together but that won’t happen now? Not when Harvey is still around”he said
“Your father doesn’t think the same way, he wants Sharon to come here today!”his grand ma said
“What? But he knows what the situation is! Harvey hates me and I also …. This is bad”Louis said as he stood up forgetting the injury he had.
“Really bad,I told him but he just won’t listen,he wants her to live here with every one,even is Harvey is also here”she said
“It will be uncomfortable for us all, didn’t he think of that?”Louis sald
“Your father isn’t thinking straight right now, I suggest you talk to him and see if you can get him to change his mind “Gladys said and quickly Louis headed to his father chambers
They announced his arrival and when he was allowed to go in, Louis knelt before his dad.
“And to what do I owe this visit from you ?” The king asked softly
“I heard from grand ma that you are planning on bringing Sharon into the house to live with me, I beg you to reconsider your decision”He said
“What’s there to reconsider, she is your wife now and it’s only right that you bring her to live with you “He said
“But you know Harvey is still here, he will try to make life difficult for us, have you thought of that ?”He asked as he stared at his father
“I have but I don’t see that as a problem,she is your wife and there is nothing Harvey can do about it, so just bring her here to live with you ”
“She is now a princess, there are things for her to learn before the coronation and the minister’s are already asking to see your wife ,I can’t keep on telling them off, so she will be coming to live here with us”He said
“But dad!”
“Am not your dad when it comes to stuff like this, am the king and you must obey my order, get going, bring your wife to live with us “He said and knowing that it will be a waste of time if he kept on begging him.
“And one more thing, I told Harvey the same thing and I expect you to do the same, What happened at your school earlier shouldn’t happen again, apart from you two anger, our reputation is at stake here and we must make sure we keep it clean, do I make my self clear?”The king asked
“Yes your majesty”Louis said and left his father chambers,heading to the car which was waiting to take him to Sharon house.
Mean while Gladys went back to her son trying to get him to stop what he is trying to do.
“I thought I told you to leave!”He said
“I won’t leave, apart from being your mother, I was also the queen and I still have more rank than you “She said
“A rank which doesn’t suit you one bit”He said
“Yes,it had never suit me, I hated it when I first got married to your father, I hated the fact of being tied down to him for the rest of my life, she must have thought that way too, that was why she decided to go with your friend”Gladys said softly
“You said you hated being tied down to my father but you got to love every minute of being tied to him, you got to fall for him just as much as he fell when he got you to Mary him, it would have been the same for me and her but you just had to meddle “He yelled at his mom
“I had to meddle for your own sake! Back then, you weren’t thinking right and beside……”
“Beside nothing! The past is in the past, let’s keep it that way”He stated
“I would have only if you weren’t bringing it up again”
“If you are talking about Louis and Harvey then you should stop, I don’t see how am resurrecting the past with them at all”He said
“You certainly know what you are doing Peter, just because you couldn’t get to be with the one you love doesn’t mean you have to do the same to others,most Especially your son’s” Gladys said
“I think you should stop now, have had enough of you accusing me, it’s the law here, a wife nee-ds to be with her husband and that is why am asking Louis to bring her here and beside the minister are asking to see her already, so stop with your as-sumptions mother, not every thing is about what happened in the past”he said
“But can’t you see that Both Louis and Harvey, most especially Sharon will all suffer from this new decision of yours!”She said
“I don’t care if my decision hurt or makes any one suffer, all I care about is having that girl in the palace, I don’t our reputation being tarnished and look at the time, I think you have over stayed your time here”he said to his mother
“Are you kicking Mr out ?”she asked
“You might be the queen and might have an higher rank over me but this is my palace and am the king, so please leave”He said to his mom and went into the other room .
For a whole Gladys stood by the entrance hoping he would come back and tell her that he has changed his mind but then he never came out.
He is so bent on the past and nothing will stop him from making every one around him pay? She thought as she left his chambers heading back to her own house.
Sharon got back home to find the gate opened, it was odd though, her mother never leaves the gate open and she is suppose to be back at this time or is she? Sharon thought as she ran into the house only to see the door opened too.
Now this is getting scary? She thought as she walked in only to see that the house was all in chaos.
Things were all laying on the floor, things that could be smashed was all on the floor and they didn’t only stop down stairs, they also destroyed every thing in her mother room and also her room and there was no sign of her mom yet, she thought as she left the room in a rush heading down stairs to call the police.
But the ringing of the phone stopped her and she went to pick up the call.
“Hello!”she said into the reciever
“So you are the new bride, the new member of the Kingston family! Did you see the surprise we left for you?” A male voice said
“Did you do this? Who are you?”she asked
“Some one who hates the Kingston and now that you are a part of them, you will have to share my hate too, they make use of their guard all the time and that is why I ha-rdly ever get to them but you are new and do not have any guard around you, you will tend to be in danger, danger might even be around you even as we speak”the male said and just then she turned to see a masked man by the door holding a knife
“Judging from your silence you must have seen my gift, well I hope you enjoy it, I wonder how the crown prince will feel when he gets to know that his newly wedded wife is now gone “He said and clic-ked off the phone and immediately the masked man moved towards her intent of getting rid of her.
