Katzy episode 10

KATZY.
Episode 10.
By Amah’s Heart.
While I quietly sip my drink, he was busy looking me over with de-sires in his eyes.
I tried to pl@yalong with it all. I flashed him a smile, igniting more fire of pas-sion in him so that he can burn.
“You are very pretty Kay.
He finally said. I maintained my smile and my only reply was “thank you doctor Silas”
“plea-se come off it, drop the title and call me Silas.
“Alright Silas. Tell me about yourself? I want to get to know you more.
He smiled, took a sip and said.
“Well… I’m a vibr@nt medical doctor like you alre-ady know. Very single and searching for a pretty damsel to complete me. pla-ying table tennis is one of my best hobbies. I love fine wristwatches and shoes. Well, I also love pretty ladies like you. What more will you like to know… ask and I will be glad to answer.
“That’s faacinating”
I said with a smile.
…”can you tell me about the Desmonds? How long have you known them and will Mr Desmond ever gets better. another thing… I’m just curious to know what type of injection do you usually give to him..
“Don’t concern yourself with the Desmonds. Most especially Mr Desmond himself…is unfortunate that he may never gets out of that wheelchair. His condition is very critical, I can’t help him beyond my powers… Even though he never likes me which is very mutual. I’m glad that you will be leaving soon to focus on your dream. As for the injection…is not to hurt him but to stabilize him. I’m not a bad doctor as you alre-ady know. Don’t be worried about him, even his wife does not care the way you do…go out there and live your life. So Kay… after here will you like to know my house?
He asked me the last question while trying to take my hands into his.
“Ooh, I would have loved to…but let’s leaves it for some other time.
He tried to talk me into going to his place but I stood my ground and did not give in.
He later went to drop me off at the Desmonds before leaving.
While I was walking back inside, Natasha c@m£ to meet me.
“Are you two an item now? You usually hang your clothes where you don’t belong. You are supposed to be looking after Mr Desmond not d@t!nghis doctor. You really don’t have shame… leaving a man on a wheelchair to go and have fun with his supposed thera-pist.
I ignored her and walked away.
After changing over, I went to check on Mr Desmond.
“How was your d@t£?
I never told him that I was going on any d@t£, I only said that I will be out for few hours.
I wondered how he got to know.
“…one of the house staff, she said her name is Ta…, I can’t remember fully. Anyway, she told me that you were out on a d@t£ with Silas…
I knew it was Natasha with the wi-de mouth that told him.
“Yes, I went on a d@t£ with doctor Silas but it was only for two hours.
He nodded without a word.
As I resumed my normal duty he said to me.
“I thought you don’t fancy Silas. Well, that was what you told me the other day… you were not interested in him. I was kinda taking back when I learnt you have gone on a d@t£ with him. He finally succeeded in getting to you.
“He didn’t succeed in getting anything, I chose to go out with him with a reason. I still don’t fancy him neither am I interested in him.
He looked up at me.
“Whoever you choose to be with or however you choose to live your life is none my business but do it with someb©dy who’s worth it. if Silas is okay by you then my words shouldn’t count . plea-se fix me a h0t cu-p of coffee with no cream.
I tried explaining to him again that going out with Silas means nothing to me but he st©pped me midway.
The following day, Mrs Desmond who wasn’t around the previous day asked me.
“Natasha told me that you were not around yesterday. You didn’t tell me that you will take a day off. Where did you go?
I can’t possibly tell her that I was on a d@t£ with her man Silas and I don’t know if she is alre-ady aware.
Natasha was just looking for a way to bring me down and I won’t let her
“I was only gone for two hours, it wasn’t the whole day. I went on a d@t£.
I didn’t mention who I went out with and she never asked.
“Alright. Always give me a pro notice before going to anywhere.
After few days, I made a call to doctor Lan the orthopedist.
I booked an appointment with him.
The only thing remaining was to convince Mr Desmond and how to get him out of the house.
Doctor Silas doesn’t mean well for him, so it was high time to start executing my plans.
I had a long talk with Mr Desmond. I tried to convince him for days but it was proving difficult.
He did not buy into my ideas.
He suggested I speak to his wife first about it but I couldn’t.
“,… she won’t agree to it. You un-derstand who your wife is. Mrs Desmond want Silas to be in charge and refused to bring another thera-pist. I’m not trying to disobey your wife… all I cared about is for you to get back on your feet but if you want to spend the rest of your life on this wheel chair then is okay…I won’t push futher. I’m taking a whole lot of risk just to see you walk again but if not okay by you then I will stick to my job here.
I continued my Job, even though I kept hoping and praying that he will agree to my plans.
He finally did after days.
Neither his wife nor doctor Silas was around.
Mr Desmond asked me what I will tell his wife if she finds out.
I told him she won’t and even if she finds out, it will be alre-ady late.
I was also planning to make sure Natasha wasn’t around.
So I made Mr Desmond s£nd her on an errand.
I called Mr Lan and he s£nt a hospital van over.
Mr Desmond was helped into the waiting car and I sat beside him in the car as it drove off to the hospital.
Mr Desmond was checked in the hospital by doctor Lan who said he seems to have a damaged lungs and nee-ds quic-k treatment.
He also said Mr Desmond will walk again with the help of a physiothera-pist
He quic-kly recommend one for us.
After the whole check up, the van drove us back home.
Immediately we got in, I saw Mrs Desmond and doctor Silas standing outside with an angry looking face.
