“Mare”Nina called in surprise immediately her gaze lands on me.
“Surprise?”I sm-irks.
“Tell me it what I am thinking”She grinned staring at my luggage.
“Sure it is”I chuckled.
“Omg”She pu-ll me into a warmly hvg and I couldn’t control my laughter.
It seems she really miss me as much as I thought she would in this kind of a situation. I think she is better off as a friend except from the fact good people are born in an evil family.
“I can’t wait to eat your french toast I keep burning the bre-ads”she pouted pu-lling away.
“You should add the fact you almost burn down the kitchen too”Liam tea-sed.
“Shut up j£rk”She threw him a pillow but he caught it.
“I wonder why I get punish for saying the truth”Liam continue to tease her continuously.
“Just shut up!”She grit.
“Welcome back Mare”John approach me.
“Thanks”I replied but instead he pu-ll me to an unexpected hvg and his hand wra-p round my w@!st.
This isn’t actually right after all I just end my relationsh!pbut my ex brother isn’t going to be my next target and that will only makes me look like a gold digger or does he know I break up with Bryan and think it an opportunity to flir-t with me.
“That will be fine”I withdraw from him and he doesn’t seems satisfied but I see no reason he would hvg me that way when he literally had been avoiding me all week and ma-king me feel like a bad person in the front of others.
“Welcome punk”Jennifer Muttered loudly and I scoff. There is no point fighting with her anymore, I now know why she does all the things that makes everyone thinks she is evil. Poor girl is a victim of circu-mtances.
“Thanks you bit-ch”I replied and she scoff whilst a smile tugged on myl-ips.
“Where is B….”I press myl-ips together because I don’t even want to mention his name at all.
“Come let me help you unpack”Nina slide her hands in mine and we both head to my room.
“So tell me what made you change your mind in returning back to the house?”Nina asks as I unpack my box.
“Just feel like coming”I shrug.
“That is a big lie obviously”
“Nothing”I replied.
“So why didn’t Bryan tell anyone you are coming I would have definitely prepare the best meal ever”
“Awwwn, that will be so lovely but we break up”
“What?!”She yelled.
“I don’t want to attra-ct anyone attention and I am sure you are aware his room is opposite mine”I added.
“What happened? you both are so good in school this morning”She exasperated.
“I guess things are just meant to happen”I shrugs.
“No I nee-d to know what happened, you guys are the best couples ever so hearing this is very disappointing”She pouted.
“I don’t want to deal with him, he doesn’t even un-derstand me anymore all we do is fight and argue over matters that is meant to be important to me but instead he jeopardize with it”I sniff trying ha-rd not to cry.
“Mare are you okay?”She asks.
“I don’t know! I don’t even know if I am okay with all this or not”I wipe my blur eye.
“It fine dear”She walk up to me and wra-p her arm round me.
“It not fine, my heart is heavy and I nee-d someone to talk to”I allow the tears roll my down my eye finally.
“You know I will always be there for you, Why don’t you just talk to me?”She pat my back.
“I know”
“If it about Bryan I don’t mind helping you chatised him”
“No it isn’t nee-ded”I pu-ll back and use my hand to wipe my tears.
“You are okay?”She asks and I nod my head like a child.
“Things will definitely work out and you can talk to me”She repeated, I look at her for a while before I sit on the be-d with an heavy sigh.
“I don’t know if you are p@rt of this too but I don’t care anymore all I want is my mother”I stated.
“What do you mean? Did you say she is dead and my mom confirmed it”She questioned.
“It all a lie”tears roll down my cheek.
“What?!”
“If you are really interested in knowing the truth why don’t you sit and listen to me”I offered, she sit beside me on the be-d and I held my hand in his.
“I don’t know what happened but recently someone had been stalking and that is everything started, I……..” I explain everything her but didn’t mention her mom because I don’t want her to feel bad and at least their help was useful in my life.
“You mean Bryan father wants something you don’t have from you”She asks with eye wi-de-ned.
“Exactly my point”I nail it.
“This tough so this is the reason behind your break up?”She asks and I nod.
“Wow I always knew that guy is useless, so he is supporting is father in his evil act or what because I don’t un-derstand”
“Not actually in that way just that he just…”
“It fine”She pat my back, I pu-ll away again wiping my tears.
“I think I know what you nee-d”She sm-irk and I arched my brow.
“What?”
“There is popular jock throwing up a p@rty down the street what about we go? It isn’t p@rt of my plans though because no one is accompanying but now that you are here, it going to fun”She jump up and I end up laughing.
“Yeah I wanna see you smile baby”She dance childishly and I laugh more.
“St©p!!”I said in between my laughter but she didn’t st©p.
“Comm’n, get dress up we are leaving by 8pm exactly I nee-d to get those j£rks jealous for ditching me and of course to wipe that old-fashioned guy off your mind”She giggles as she head to the door.
Bryan was never am old-fashioned so whatever information she is trying to communicate I don’t un-derstand but I definitely a p@rty where I can drink to clear off my mind atleast I am not un-derstand is control anymore and can drink as much as I want as long as I know the way back home, I scoff at my own thought of getting lost.
“Don’t disappoint me”She warned.
“Sure!”I gave a thumbs up.
“Nina”I called back as she is about to open the door.
“Yes”
“Actually if you were in Bryan shoe and your mom is behind it all are e going to support me or just act like the j£rk did?”I asks, I hope for a good answer because I can’t keep the truth from her forever.
“I will definitely be behind my best friend because I don’t spare anyone that messes with my friend but definitely my mom can’t do such”She replied.
“Yeah sure”I replied awkwardly laughing and she arched her brows at me.
“Nevermind”I hit my hand on my l@ps, it actually hurts.
“You are acting weird but let me give you a break”She said.
“Sure”She walk out of my room closing the door behind her.
That was really awkward and I’m so nervous about it but will she really support me if I tell her too and not over react like Bryan did. Where the heck is he? I haven’t seen him since I step into house.
As much as the urge to go knock on his door and tell him to stay with me, explaining more to him I will never do it because he is the one who end things with him and not me, It hurts so much😥.
I finish unpacking the boxes and was getting my bathe shower to go take an evening shower for the p@rty before my door swings open.
“Where are your manners”I yelled before I look at up and see Bryan staring at me.
“What are you doing here?”he questioned.
“It non of your business and for your information I am not your girlfriend so next time you knock I might be n-ked”I scold.
“And let me remind you I have seen it all”he replied and I scoff.
“Get out of my room”I yelled.
“I will if you fv¢king tell me what you are doing here after I warn you to stay away from me”he point his f!nger at me.
“Now you are showing the real you but let me give you this piece of advice stay away from me and you didn’t bring me here in the first place”I roll my eye.
“What?! I had always been real with you and I have never been this real and opened to any of my exes you change me and shouldn’t be complaining”
“Get out”I seethed as I approach him but st©pped when I almost got to him.
“Gosh, you reek of alcohol”I pin my noise.
“That doesn’t answer my question”
“Have you been drinking?”I ignore his question.
“I nee-d you to leave!!”he said.
“Like it your father house”I f0rç£fully push him out and close the door angrily locking it.

I didn’t mean to hurt him with my words but I was pushed to wall and I said too much. I want to apologise to him and let go off my pride but I can’t, at least for now I nee-d to meet my mother because Fred confirm she is still alive.
After a while, my tears had st©pped falling. My b©dy felt numbs and exhausted that I didn’t move. It wasn’t until I remember Nina had invite me to accompany her to a p@rty. I decide to get up and dress up for the p@rty before she barged into my room and see me sitting on the floor crying because of Bryan.
I know she hates Bryan no matter how ha-rd I try to convince her he isn’t what she think of him.
I quic-kly rush back to the bathroom to bathe and get re-ady. I dry my hair up and straighten into mix of curly and normal. I apply a light makeup and redl-ipstick since it will perfectly match the black dress.
I put on the dress, it reveals a bit of my cle-avageand st©p before my knees ex-posing my th!gh a bit. It will a night to dance away probably I might not make it to school tomorrow because I am preparing myself to let go off my worries tonight.
After, I stride out of the room and luckily for me Nina is alre-ady dressed up at the living room re tou-ching her make up and that brou-ght a disgust face on Liam.
“Are you really going to that p@rty with that?”Liam asks, obviously jealous.
“You are asking for the umpteenth time and my answer remain the same for your information”She roll her eye and I chuckled.
“I’m re-ady”I made my pres£nce known in the living room.
“Wow babe you look so gorgeous right now”Nina blew me a k!ssand I smile.
“Thanks”I smile.
“I am very sure those guys will be dancing round you once you get to the p@rty”She added.
“And I am very sure Bryan will break their hands before they l@yit on you”Liam said sarcastically but no one laughs.
“Just shut up”Nina push him.
“It fine”I muttered.
“What is going on here?”Liam asks.
“Obviously they aren’t together anymore but someone is blind to notice it”Jennifer scoff, I frown at her remark but replace it with a fake smile.
“Oh! wow”Liam manage to say.
“Let go”Nina walk up to me and slide his hand in mine.
“No way I am going to allow my girlfriend go to a p@rty looking this h0t without me around so I am coming with you and definitely driving you both back home myself”
“That cute”I chuckled.
“No! I don’t want you around me at the p@rty”Nina defends.
“In your dream”he gr-ab his car key and walk ahead of us.
“Why is he always everywhere”Nina pouted.
“Because he loves you”I replied as we follow him.
“Are you sure?”
“I will never say something I don’t know about”I replied and she smile.
“You are such a darling”She snuggle close to me.
She is lovely and always kind to me, I never thought I will be this close to her after she decorated our dorm all pink.
“Comm’n get in the car”Liam open the front door for Nina while I go sit at back. Sincerely, at that point I miss Bryan….Gosh! Mare st©p thinking about him and be yourself. He literally hate me now because he thinks I am lying about his father deeds.
“Wow”I muttered as Liam drive into the house, it just a small sto-rey but it so beautiful and the dim light outside the house is kinda funny, is it there for the p@rty or he literally decorate the house like that.
“Comm’n let get p@rty”Nina screamed but instead Liam pu-ll her close and k!ssher. I alight from the car immediately to give them their privacy. I can’t just stand there and wait for the two to make out so I head into the p@rty.
The loud ban-ging music and noise coming from the all looking adult people in the p@rty discourage me immediately I walk in but ignore it when I sight few of our clas-smates in there too and they seems to get along with the adult.
I made my way to the crowd trying my best not to be sp@ñk in the as-s because I know what adult are capable of doing especially those hor-nydog that attend p@rties just to l@ywith their prey.
“Hi babe”a guy said to me by I didn’t even wait to reply and made my way to the bar right at the other side of the living room. Whosoever is hosting this p@rty must be so dumb to have invited people like this for p@rty.
“One sh0t”I said to bartender, I am not use to the names of drinks so I just order anything and he starts to mix and pas-s me a sh0t.
“What is it?”I shout because the music blaring is more loud than anything in the house.
“Try it you will like it”he replied raising his voice.
I look at for a while before I chvg it down.
“OMG”I drop the glas-s and made a disgust face.
“How was it?”he asks.
“A…..mazingly good”I screamed now dancing to the music.
“I told you”he sm-irk, while I sway my b©dy feeling the beat.
“I think you nee-d more”he wi-nk and I nod my head positively. In swift I alre-ady take five sh0t and surprisingly I starts to feel the p@rty more than ever forgetting the fact I c@m£ here alone because Nina might not find me soon and someone might take advantage of me.
“Hey baby girl”a guy walk up to me.
“Hi baby boy”I screamed laughing crazily as I dance.
“I like you”he said coming close and dancing with me.
“I like you too”I laugh, I wasn’t in control of myself anymore but I don’t plan on st©pping anytime soon because I love everything here right now.
“You are such a great dancer”he compliment after dancing with him for a while.
“Thanks”I replied.
“Wanna str!p?”he asks.
“Huh?”
“Come with me”he pu-ll my hand and drag me throu-gh the crowd.
When an half dressed waitress walked by me, I quic-kly latched two sh0t glas-ses before continuing to walk. My head leaned back with the drink pressed against myl-ips as I swallowed it in one go. Then, I did the same thing with the other.
My mind felt hazy, but I was loving every second of it. The music was drumming throu-ghout my b©dy which only made the experience even better.
Suddenly, I bu-mped into a che-st. It was very ha-rd and it seemed to make me feel little.
“Sweetheart!”The che-st asked,
“Let go man”the guy I am following try to shove the Mr. che-st away but he pu-ll me back.
The che-st’s hands moved down to cu-p my chin before bringing my face up to meet the familiar eyes of Bryan. Then, my eyes followed his f!nger as he wiped something off myl-ips.
“How much did you drink”he asks.
“I said backoff man”the guy yelled angrily feeling frustrated, I am not even concerned about that but instead did Bryan just call me sweetheart or I was hallucinating?.
“Alcohol?” He questioned. I smiled at him, showing the biggest smile I could muster before dropping the sh0t glas-ses.
“I said back off man!”the man yelled but Bryan pu-ll me away from the man and all I did is smile foolishly because I am drun!kand out of control.
“Why should I? when all I see is you trying to take advantage of a drun!kgirl”Bryan defends.
“And how those that makes us different because you are trying to take her away when she doesn’t even know you”the guy replied.
“Back off!”he yelled.
“No you let go and find your girl elsewhere”the guy yelled back.
Bryan look back to look at me who won’t st©p smiling foolishly before he turn back to the guy.
“She is my girlfriend and I want you to stay away!!”he yelled angrily.
“That quite funny because if you are trying her b©yfri£ndthen you won’t have leave her side in the front place”I pout watching the two exchange words until Bryan lands a punch on the guy and everyone attention turns to us.
“I said you should stay away from my woman!”Bryan yelled.
“You j£rk”the guy lands another punch on him and I staggered a bit because I lost hold of Bryan.
I watch guys trying to separate them while I just stand there still dancing to the beat and ignore the two beat up each other.
“Bryan st©p!”I turn as saw Liam pu-ll him away from the strange guy.
“fuc-k off”Nina yelled to the guy and he t©uçh his injuredl-ips before walking away.
“What the hell happened are you okay”Nina ran to me and I laugh.
“Yeah I am fine, I love this p@rty”I screamed happily
For the first time I love myself for been me and not the weak Mare.
