I can’t believe that Sonia is the one looking so unkempt and famished.
I used because of Adanna and took her to the nearest restaurant and bought food that we both ate as breakfast.
“Now, you have eaten and can talk right?
What brou-ght you in my house?” I asked and she started fumbling her f!ngers.
“Who is she baby?”Adanna asked.
“She is my ex-wife, the same person that labelled my impotent and even kept frustrating my life till she succeeded in ma-king me the worst enemy to her parents” I complained and i noticed a shock on Adanna’s look but she swallowed ha-rd and shook her head.
“I know that time like this will come, no woman will like to loss a man of your calibal and personality” Adanna said and Sonia nodded and that irritated me so bad.
Why am I seeing everything she is doing so offensive this time.
“Thank God you are here my friend, help me beg my husband to accept me back pls” Sonia begged with her two kneels on the ground.
I wanted to talk but i waited to hear what Adanna will say first.
“Excuse me, I should beg him to accept you back as his second wife or what because am now his first wife and he is all i have?” Adanna asked and i wished to give her a h0t k!ssfor the well reply but i wasn’t myself.
“Listen woman!….”I yelled but Adanna shut me up politely.
“C’mon baby, it’s not right time for you to talk pls.
This is between me and her okay?
She messed up and must not blame anyb©dy about that” Adanna blamed her further.
“I accepts the blame ma’am, I don’t care been the second or the concubine pls.
I don’t want to loss him” Sonia cried and i couldn’t bear it anymore than to leave them there and go out of the restaurant.

Am now a stranger to Michael, the person that have begged me for years is now running from me.
Michael left the restaurant, I thought that the lady will follow him but she stayed back.
“Don’t worry, he won’t go without me” she said with much confidence.
“Pls can you help me and plead him to accept me back even as his concubine” I pleaded.
“Nothing goes for nothing dear.
You said that you adopted a child without his notice right?
I will like to know the background of that child, you have to show me where you adopted him from” she demanded and that wasn’t a problem.
I agreed.

I c@mÂŁ out of the restaurant and sat outside so angrily.
What is Sonia’s mission because am sure she never changed?
How can she leave me in just two months and c@mÂŁ back now begging me to accept her back?
Am I gonna accept her as my wife or my friend? She said that am impotent, how can she come back to an impotent man?
These were roaming in my mind till they c@mÂŁ out discussing.
“Let’s go honnie”Adanna said and i cleared my throat to say something but Adanna asked me to keep mute.
What type of game are these two women pla-ying with my mind?
We drove off, Adanna was the one driving while I sat at the front with her, Sonia had the back seat alone.
“Where are you going?” I asked her as she kept going to the direction of my house.
“Let’s drop her” she replied.
Drop her?
Where is she intending to drop Sonia nah?
“Where?”I asked looking so wired and sad.
“Baby, can you just swallow your anger and follow my lead?”she said with her usual charming t©uçh on my che-st that always drives me crazy.
I kept calm and decided to be wise to aviod been blamed or been used by women.
We arrived my house and Sonia c@mÂŁ out still fegecting.
“Don’t panic babe, we will be back let’s check on something pls” Adanna said and revised the car to the exit.
Where did she think that we are going now?
“What did you discuss with that woman?”I asked and broke the long silent.
“Nothing, I just demand to know about the child she adopted and many more” she replied.

Okay, let’s continue with the game of mind.
“Can we go and visit him in his school as u said now?” She asked and i smiled lightly.
“No, I don’t want to face my son’s interrogations this morning pls.
Am not looking good and he must insist to know why” I replied.
“So….?”
“The visit is cancelled till I know why Sonia is here and all you discussed with her” I replied so angrily.
“What I discussed with her?
Baby don’t transfer your aggressive mood to me pls.
I have told you what we discuseed or what else do you want to hear from me” Adanna asked looking so provoked.
“No visiting of my son because he will know that am not in good mood and am not re-ady for his interrogations” I replied and we diverted to work.

I kept calm thinking on what would be Sonia’s reason to return to Enugu state.
One mind thought me to call her mum or dad but i thought otherwise since they have been backing her up that she is innocent and am the devil.
I nee-ded to clear my conscience before getting married to Adanna but i must know why Sonia is in my house first.
“Hey baby! You have been so calm since we c@m£ to work.
I know that you still nee-d Sonia right?
Don’t worry, I lost my first lover and i survived it,I will still survive this pls be happy darling” Adanna accused my mind and brou-ght me back from my thinking.
What the hell is she talking about?
“nee-d who?”I asked looking so disappointed with Adanna for accusing me a such.
“Sonia ofcourse, I think we will be discussing the way forward but you are here thinking your life out” she added and win-ked her eyes stylishly.
“Hmmm, yes I nee-d her and even her demonic accusations” I responded ironically and she smiled.
“Am just teasing you baby, can we have lunch now?”she asked blinking her S-xy eyebrows.
“Now?
It’s ba-rely 3hours we ate nah”I protested and she smiled.
“I nee-d to eat something to know what is happening to me pls” she added holding her head with her palm.
“Happening to you?
How?”I asked with concern.
“Am feeling slight headache and fever but I’m trying to hide it from you but am really dying inside” she said and I wi-de-ned my eyes open.
“Don’t tell me that you are serious because we sle-pt together last night and woke up together this morning but you didn’t complain anything” I asked looking so worried.
I took her to the restaurant and demanded for one plate of food because I wasn’t feeling any hungry but before the waiter could bring the food she vomited and ran out of the restaurant.
Gosh! What is happening to her?
I took her to the hospital and they ran some malaria test on her and demanded to test for pregnancy after showing that she doesn’t malaria.
“I know she is not pregnant but go ahead pls” I replied and they preceded on the test.
We were waiting for the result patiently when the doctor c@mÂŁ back with a smiling face.
“Congratulations sir! she is two weeks gone!” The doctor said handing the result to me.
What?
She is two weeks gone seriously?
So, Adanna has proved them wrong that am no impotent or someone is responsible for the pregnancy

They dropped at home and drove out, though the lady gave me all i nee-ded which are the keys to all the rooms in the house but i nee-d to know what my journey will yield.
I stayed in the sitting room till noon and i saw no shadow of them, hunger was pricing me seriously. I then dashed to the kitchen and made jaloff rice and was about eating the food when they drove in.
Michael was looking so healthy unlike that morning, he look so happy.
“Hey good afternoon”the lady greeted even before I could talk.
“Welcome ma’am, good afternoon sir”I greeted Michael who was busy dragging her hand like his lost wife and he ignored me.
“She is greeting you honey”the lady reminded him and he turned to me with less concern.
“Thanks” he replied.
Gosh! This is not Michael I know, I wish I met the one I thought it is Michael not this monster.

I was over joyed and was like carrying Adanna with my hands without her legs tou-ching the ground when we were coming back home.
She wanted to drive but i declined, I want to drive her carefully.
I could see the surprise look in her face but i don’t care what she was having in mind, the only thing that might drain my joy was one statement, “baby, you are not the person responsible for this my pregnancy” but God forbid!
We met Sonia in the sitting room about to eat, I don’t want to know respond to her greeting but Adanna never let me be.
“What do you have for us babe?”Adanna asked again as we were about entering the room.
“Jallof rice ma’am”Sonia responded and Adanna turned immediately.
I know jaloff rice as the worst foe to Adanna, how come she is now dying for it.
“Baby, let’s go and eat pls” Adanna protested and i saw many impossibilities in eating that trash Sonia made and called food.
“No,you can go and eat pls” I said and tried to leave but she dragged me back.
“Come and feed me nah, am so weak to eat by myself” she urged again and i left with no option than to do just that.
Adanna don’t like jallof and it still baffles me why she insisted on eating that trash called rice cooked by that lady.
I kept straight face while feeding her because I don’t nee-d any interaction with Sonia.
