I c@m£ back from that my consultant place and met Michael and Nelson pla-ying as usual.

“Good evening mum” Nelson greeted and i waved at him.

“Good evening sir” I greeted Michael but i can’t tell if he responded or not because i left immediately.

“How was the journey sis” Vivian asked as i entered the kitchen.

“It was good, we will go for DNA test tomorrow to be sure as the lady advised me” I replied and she nodded.

“But sis, I like that little boy oh, he is so smart and i wish he is your biological son or will even be Michael’s after the test” Vivian said.

“Wait! If he happens to be Michael’s, I will accept the responsibility of taking care of him?” I asked looking so disappointed with her.

“Yes nah, after all he is your husband and for your child to be like his father is nothing bad I think” I said further.

“U think and not me and never be me.
I rather take care of a stranger’s child than taking caring of any child that he-goat get outside.
I can’t” I said in conclusion before Nelson c@m£ in.

“Mum, dad said that he wanna see you” he said and I paid less concern on that.

“Tell him that am coming” I replied after some seconds of silent.

I was on phone with Adanna when Sonia c@m£ to answer my call after waiting for her for more than an hour.

“Seems you are busy maybe when you are done” she said as she noticed that I was on call and wanted to go back but i ended the call.

I don’t think that the same Sonia I gave my heart is the same person taking me for granted now.

She sat down looking so unhappy which I wasn’t re-ady to know what her worry was all about because she won’t tell me.

“I called you here for an important discussion and i will be glad if you can give me what I want pls” I paused and she cleared her throat.
“Do you like as this marriage is going or you wish we are living better?”I continued and she smiled.

“Is that for me or you are still talking on phone?” She asked mockingly.

“Everything am saying now are for you and i can remember that you are once my wife if you are not now and i deserve some respect Sonia” I reminded her but she sm-irked.

“Michael, I loved you but not anymore, I started hating you right from the day you cheated on me! You sle-pt with Sophia and has the mind to explain how it happened to me.
I pretended to love you because I want her to loss you and that is what I have done Michael” she blasted and pinched me so ha-rd

Episode 56

So, she don’t love me?
Why did she deceived me that she love and want me if she is for revenge?

Sonia forgot that she lost her own vir-ginity to her ex-b©yfri£ndbut that’s not what matters in any relationsh!p.

“I am here to pay you in hundreds folds of what you did to me.
To hell with you and love!!” She yelled and left me.

I was bothered because I don’t want Nelson nor Vivian to hear what we were discussing, though she might have been telling Vivian the other side of the story but i don’t want her to witness how our peaceful marriage has turned into.
Nelson is still small and should be brou-ght up in a peaceful family, no child from broke home makes good citizen and that is why I keeps Nelson off our discussion.

Michael don’t know what’s coming up to him, after this DNA test he will become my past if the result didn’t go well for his own good.

I convinced him(Michael) to follow us to the hospital and he agreed thinking that things might get better if he agrees to everything I said.

“Am almost late at work but i have to go since that will make you happy” he said and i rolled my eyes in ‘whatever’style.

“Congrats sir, this little boy here is your child” the doctor said congratulating Michael whom looked so shocked.

“Is it a plan or what?” He asked laughing sarcastically.

“Plan?
We don’t joke with these type of things sir, he is yours” the doctor added and i shrunk.

“Now, who is the mother because I don’t have any other woman other than this woman here” he defended further.

“Look young man, I know it, this is one of your children because am sure that you have many of them out there” I yelled and left the doctor’s office.

Nelson who was sitting in the reception stood up to follow me but i gave him a glared look that made him sat back.

I can’t tolerate this anymore, how would Michael cheats and cheats everyday because am so tolerant?

I c@m£back home and started packing my belongings.

“What is happening sister?
How is the test?” Vivian asked looking so disappointed.

“Nothing. ….”I replied after starring at her with teary eyes.

“Don’t tell me that u are leaving here because u may regret it later” she said and I sm-irked.

“Regret?
I regretted everything even the first day I married that wom-anizer called Michael.
He is my past and am leaving for good pls” I concluded and continued with my packing.

I don’t care if I regret it or not! !!

Episode 57

“Sir, calm down I will advise you to take it easy pls” the doctor advised.

“But how come of this pls?
I never cheated on my wife since we got married, why am I seeing this as a plan?”I cried.

“It’s not a plan sir but i can equally advise you to see another doctor for you to be sure.
Have a nice day sir” he said and dismissed me.

I left the office with courage because having a child is not a taboo just that i don’t know how come of the child.

“Dad! What is it?” That was Nelson’s voice and i chuckled because I thought he has left with Sonia.

“Why don’t you go with your mother?” I asked him.

“She left me here” he replied.

“Okay, let’s go”I said trying to hold my shock.

“You are not looking good dad, what is the problem?” He continued asking me as we are in the car going home.

“Nothing, am not well but it is just a slight headache and doctor has given me some medicine for that” i lied but the unbelievable look on his face told me that he wasn’t convinced yet.

“Okay but it seems like the headache started not quite look because you don’t look like this as we were coming here” he said again but i increa-sed the volume of the music I was pla-ying in the car.

We got home and met the abs£nt of Sonia, Vivian was sitting so moody in the sitting room.

“She is gone….”Vivian said and i paid less concern to what she said.

“Gone?
And who are you talking about?”I asked heading to my room.

“Sonia, she has gone to her parent’s house”she added and i smiled.

That’s her headache, after all she caused it all, she planted this because am sure that I don’t have a child.

I hurried to work and left Nelson and Vivian at home.
I never wished to go to work but staying at home will be reminding me of what happened, I better save the mood and go to my office and see many faces.

“Michael, she declined right?” Adanna asked but i didn’t comprehend what she was talking about.

“Declined?
What?” I asked.

“She declined your request of bringing in another woman”she asked and i smiled.

“She is now my ex-wife dear” I replied.

“Why?
You wouldn’t have let her go nah, I handled a similar situation yesterday and we sorted it out why is your own becoming heavy sir?” She asked and i smile.

“She doesn’t love me, even when she claimed that she does” I replied.

“I will help you get her if you want her back”she said.

“Adanna why can’t you marry me and make me feel like a man?

Episode 58

“Why can’t u say yes to my proposal and rescue my soul Adanna?”I asked and she chuckled because it showed on her face.

“Accept you as what pls?” She asked looking so uncomfortable.

“I know that you may be afraid of causing a problem to my family but the truth is that the problem started before I met you.
And I met you because of the problem, will you marry me?” I asked again and she rolled her eyes.

“Baby…I mean sir….” she tried to give an excuse but i interupted her.

“All I want is your help, just say yes and make me feel loved at all pls” I continued begging her and I noticed tears streaming down her eyes.

“I wished to remain single forever but meeting you has been changing many things in my life.
I have been seeing myself doing what I thought that i won’t do in my life. I love you Michael and i wish you know that” she said and I pinched myself to be sure that am not dreaming.

“What do you say?” I asked her again to be sure.

“I said yes and i mean it baby” she said with tears and threw herself on me.

“I love you and i won’t let anything st©p me from seeing your parents next week”I said and noticed a sudden change in her mood immediately I mentioned her parents.

I took my leave and reached my father’s house on time.

My mum noticed the look on my face and started putting words on my mouth.

“He has divorced you!” She shouted.

“I left him” I replied and my dad c@m£ out with a walking stick.
I never know that my dad walks with walking stick because he was so strong the last time i saw him.

“What happened my daughter” he asked.

“I have leave Michael and that is the end of me and him” I said and my dad fell down immediately and went to coma.

We took him to the hospital immediately, my mum was busy showing all sorts of insults to me accusing me the cause of my dad’s predic@m£nts.

I never dreamt of such as i was going back home.

“Your father got paralyzed since he heard that you are the cause of your childlessness in your marriage and you are now back to eliminate him” she accused me.

“Mum but!…” I tried defending myself but she couldn’t listen to me.

“Spare me that your c0ckand bull story, if your father dies I won’t forgive you in this life” she cried even as we were alre-ady in the hospital.
