EPILOGUE
ANDREA POV
Done with my morning exercise, I jog back home.
As soon as I walk in,I saw Mary being consoled by mom..
“What’s wrong?”I asked as I stared at them.
“Max was just here a while ago, he c@mĀ£ to say good bye,he is leaving today”my mom said softly.
“Oh! I hope he gets there safely “I said as I began to head to my room
“Really Mom! Until when will you keep on being like this?”Mary said
“What do you mean?”I asked
“You love dad and you know that just one word from you, he will stay here but instead you keep shut and let your pride take over, don’t you want to be happy?”she asked with tears in her eyes
“You don’t know a thing Mary, so don’t bu-tt in “I said icingly
“I know okay, I know a lot to know that you will regret not doing a thing, you love dad and he loves you too but you two don’t want to admit it, I hate seeing you alone mom, so plea-se do the right thing and go after the man you love”she said and just then some one rung the bell
My mom went to see who it was and she c@mĀ£ back in to tell us that it was Jack
“Jack is here, so quit it with Max, I don’t want to have any issue with him”I said
“You don’t love him mom, you love dad and if he leaves you will regret it”She said and walked off angrily
“Should I let Jack in?”my mom asked and I nodded
“Let him in mom”I said and she went off to let him in.
“I won’t regret it,I won’t”I muttered softly.

“You look with drawn Andrea,what’s going on ?” Jack asked as we sat in the luxurious restaurant having break fast
“Nothing”I said giving him a smile
“There is some thing bothering you Andrea and I would like it if you tell me”he said
“It’s nothing ,I mean it, let’s just have break fast and go watch that movie “I said giving him a smile not wanting him to worry.
“I heard that Max is leaving today, he is taking the 11am flight to be precise”he began softly
“Mary alre-ady told me that”I said not wanting to talk about Max
“Then why are you here with me?”he asked
“What?”I replied
“Why are you here when he will be getting on that flight soon”he said
“What are you saying Jack”
“What am saying is that you should go after the man you love, if you are thinking of me, you don’t have to, I will be fine, you shouldn’t lose him for the second time” he said
“Jack!”I called softly
“Go Andrea,if you leave now, you will make it to the airport to stĀ©p him”he said giving me a smile and then he took my hand and k!$$Ā£d it softly
“What about you?”I asked
“Seeing you happy will make me happy and besides Mary is right, you will regret it of he leaves, so go Andrea, go and stĀ©p the man you love”he said
“You heard it all?”I asked as I stared at him
“That doesn’t matter right now, what matter is that in a few hours time, Max will be leaving, So go now Andrea,make a move before I change my mind”he said and quic-kly I got up heading out of the restaurant but then I stĀ©pped and ran back to Jack giving him a hvg
“Thank you Jack! Thank you for every thing, you will forever be in my heart”I said and then ran out of the restaurant, hailing a taxi and telling it to go to the air port.
Mary and Jack are both right? I love Max and I don’t think I can ever let him go,not again.
As soon as the taxi stĀ©pped,I ran into the air port.
They were a lot of people and it will be ha-rd to find him, I thought as I looked throu-gh my purse, searching for my phone but it wasn’t there.
Seems like I forgot it at home, where can I get a phone here,I thought.
Just then I saw the announcing room and immediately I head there,feeling very desperate.
“Can I help you miss”the announcer asked when I got there
“plea-se the flight to the states will be leaving soon and the man that I love is there, plea-se can you lend me your phone to call him”I asked
“Am but I can’t help you with that, we don’t bring our phone to the place of work”she said
“Then can you do some thing else for me,I beg you”I added when she hesitated a bit
“I have to tell him not to leave, he nee-ds to know how much I love him”I begged
“Fine then, I will help you”she said and began to call out Max name using the speaker.
“Andrea Blake is here asking you not to leave, she says she loves you and that she regrets not stĀ©pping you the first time”The lady kept on saying while I stood by the door ,crying and waiting for him to show not caring if people were starring at me
“She is crying and waiting for you Max,so if you are hearing this,plea-se come, she really loves you and doesn’t want you to leave”the lady said this with out my instruction.
I stood out side checking my watch when she walked towards me
“Am sorry but the flight has just taken off”she said
“No! No!”I said as I ran towards the boarding gate but the security men stĀ©pped me
“You still can’t go miss and the plane has taken off alre-ady “one of them said and slowly I walked back to the large window by the air port starring at the plane which was alre-ady heading to its destination.
I sat on the chair crying ha-rd , I just lost him! I just lost him! I kept on thinking.
I sat there starring at nothing in p@rticular and when I checked my watch to see that it was late, I stood up to leave the air port
The taxi took me home and I got out of the car heading into the house.
“Where have you been Andrea ? You left your phone at home and ……..”
“Not now mom! I just don’t feel like talking”I said as I sat on the chair burying my face in my hand
“Mom! Like seriously where have you been and……..”Mary stĀ©pped when she saw me crying.
“What’s wrong ?”She asked
“You are right when you say that I will regret it, I went to the air port to stĀ©p him from leaving but I was too late, the plane took and I didn’t get a chance to tell him how much I love him “I said crying
“Andrea you…..”
“He left mom, he left for the second time and I had the chance to stĀ©p him this time but I let my pride get in the way, I let the love of my life leave, he is gone mom,he has left me”I said not giving my mom a chance to talk
“It’s okay Mom, dad……”
“You said I will regret it, you said I will regret it Mary and you are right! Am alre-ady regretting it”I said
“You have nothing to regret because I never left”Max said and I turned to see him walking out of the rest room

“I think it’s our cue to leave” my mother whispered and they walked out of the house.
“Don’t ever leave me Max, I can’t live with out you, I just can’t bear it if you leave me again”I said as I held him ti-ght
“I won’t! I also can’t live with out you Andrea, I didn’t leave because I want to be with you, I love you so much”he said
“I love you too, so very much “I said feeling so happy and contented that he is here with me .
A YEAR LATER
“Why don’t you three just sing us a song” Max father yelled at Mary ,Daniel and James who stood together listening to some music.
After the re-lease of Daniel and Mary song, we all decided to take a vacation together.
I along with Max, Mary and my mother. Rose along with Jack, Daniel, James and his girlfriend Sandra and also lastly Max parents.
“That’s right! Just sing some thing for us, liven the atmosphere a bit “Rose called out and together the three of them began to sing .
I stood at a distance watching all them, every one looked happy not worried about the past or the future, just enjoying the presĀ£nt.
I stared at Max to see talking to his dad, am glad that he has made up with his dad though his dad apology c@mĀ£ late,I still forgave him.
A year have gone by and we all are still together, especially Max and I, our love for each other keeps on growing strong.
This is the kind of life have always dreamt of, a full of happiness and joy.
“Come with me “Cade said pu-lling me out of the house.
“Where are we going?”I asked
“It’s a secret”he said as he took me towards a car.
“Happy anniversary my love”he said softly and felt so over whelmed with joy.
“Happy anniversary too”I said giving him a k!ss
“Thanks for being in my life Max, thanks for loving me just as much as I love”I said
“You are welcome my lady, just don’t ever leave me, stay with me till am old and grey”He said and I gave him a k!ss.
