#Nana ‘s POV
Jay’s b©dy was freaking cold! And now I don’t know what to tell this bit-ch here.
“Just tell him about me if you don’t know what to say.” Jay said..
I rolled my eyes, remembering I don’t fv¢king nee-d to let the bit-ch know anything.
I turned to walk in and just slam the door! but Jay pu-ll-ed me back..
I flin-ched cos his hand felt too cold.
“Why’s your hand hanging Nana!” Jardel said.
I looked furiously at Jay and his eyelids belowed at me.
“I think you should just tell him about me.” He said.
I looked back at Jardel and his eyes are still wi-de open but his mouth are closed up now.
“Nana?” He called as our eyes met.
“Tell him about me.” Jay said again.
“Why!” I asked. My voice was kinda out and Jardel heard it.
“Why what?” Jardel asked.
“He might come with us to the forest.” Jay said, still holding me. My hand was freezing.
I squee-zed my hand and he un-derstood and let go of my hand.
“He’s a bit-ch. Do you know what he did to me?” I whispered.
“Tell me later. But plea-se just do this.. Do this for me.” He said.
I shut my eyes, opened them back and inhaled.
“Fine!” I said.
Then I looked at Jardel.
“You see!” I said to the stupid heart piercer who was staring stupidly at me.
Do he think i’ve become a wacko or what?
“Nana? Can you tell me what was all that $h!t?” He said.
Really? That was annoying..
“And who the hell are you to know things that got to do with me?. They ain’t your fv¢king business so get lost!” I yelled at him.
“But that wasn’t what I told you to say Nana.” Jay said.
“Get lost you too.” I said and then immediately regretted it.
“Do you mean that Nana?” Jay said with a pale look.
“Who are you talking to Nana?” Jardel asked.
I decided to tell him.. So Jay don’t vanish cos of what I said.
“His name’s Jay.” I said.
“Jay? I can’t see him. Why then?” He asked, sounding really suprised and scanning with his eyes around.
“Cos he’s a ghost.. Actually he seem to be.” I said.
“A ghost!” He wi-de-ned his eyes.
“Yeap. So can you get lost now?” I barked at him.
“No way. Nana… Are you really seeing a ghost like he’s there with you now?” He asked, pointing at me or maybe anything beside me, which is Jay.
“Yes!” I said, turned to walk in but..
“Nana… Can you show me a prove to believe this $h!t?” He asked.
I turned back to him… Glanced at Jay and he nodded.
I turned back to Jardel… He was walking towards me.
“You know I shouldn’t really be talking with you Jardel. I was alre-ady getting over you.. You said you are better off with Becca.. I don’t get why you here now?”I said as he finally got inches away from me.
I shifted back.
“Just give him the prove.” Jay said, sounding kinda impatient.
“Freak off. You don’t get it.” I yelled at him. Jay.
“Im sorry.” He said.
“Nana..” Jardel called.
“Get the flowrers.” I said to him.
He obeyed and picked the flowers and handed it to me.
“Here is the prove.” I said and handed the flowrers to Jay.
He took it and Jardel g@sped and backed away.
Almost falling.
“That!! It’s hanging in the air.” He said, pointing at the flowers.
I chuckled, so did Jay.
“He’s scared I guess.” Jay said.
“Jay is the one holding the flowers. They ain’t hanging. He’s the one who made me hang then that I alnost fell cos he saved me. You were happy I was gonna fall isn’t it?” I said.
He shook his head.
“No Nana.. No. I was alnost going to save you.” He said.
He lied!
“Liar! I never nee-ded your saving anyway and I’ll never do. You nothing but a bag of regrets!” I hurled at him.
Jay dropped the flowers and they fell to the ground.
Jardel looked at the flowers then back at me. “Nana.. im so sorry.. We nee-d to talk.” He said.
I looked at Jay and he shrugged.
“My ghost friend nee-d your help.” I said, ignoring what he just said.
“Let him in, So you’do explain better. Not here.” Jay said.
“nee-ds my help!?” Jardel asked, and looked beside me.
“Yes.. You have to help him or you get lost out of here! He’s the reason im even talking to you! You don’t deserve my time!” I growled at him.
He nodded quic-kly.
“I’ll do anything just to get you to listen to me.” He said.
Jay smiled, but I rolled my eyes.
“Do you believe about Jay now?” I asked him.
“Maybe.. Is he beside you?” He asked.
“Yeah..” I said and hissed.
I hate that im talking with this as-s-hole.
“Left or right?” He asked?
“Right.” I said.
He looked at my left.
“Hey Jay.. Are you really a reality?” He said.
I glanced at Jay and he coughed out a chuckle.
“Yeah I am.” He said weirdly.
I chuckled cos Jardel didn’t hear him.
“It’s so weird talking to nothing tho.” Jardel said and backed away.
“He answered you. He said ‘Im here’” I said.
“You the only one who sees him and hears him?” He asked.
“Yeah..” I said.
He paused for few seconds.
“He’s scary right?” He asked.
I glanced at Jay and his eyebrows are up.
He stared at me, obviously wondering what im gonna say.
“No.. He’s more than cute.” I said still looking at Jay.
He smiled a killer smile that gabe me sweet goosebu-mps.
“Thanks Nana.” He said.
I just wanna get the bit-ch, Jardel a bit jealous, I think.
Then I looked at Jardel.
I don’t un-derstand his expression. Just uncertain..
“Fine. I’ll help the ghost boy.” He said.
“I hate that he called me that.” Jay said.
“Don’t call him that!” I barked at Jardel.
He shrugged.
“Fine.” He said and smiled.
Stupid!
“Let him in.”Jay said.
“Not yet!” I snapped at him.
“Me?” Jardel asked.
“Not you!” I said.
“Jay?” He asked.
“Yeah.” I said and saw a bit jealousy on his face change.
Good!
“So can I come in?” Jardel asked.
I looked brieftly at him…
“Just cos of Jay!” I said, and turned.
“Wow.. it’s so amazing that you letting him in cos of me. Are you guys having issues?” Jay asked, following behind me.
“Don’t ask me.” I said and walked in.. He followed and then Jardel c@m£ in too in slow steps, and closed the door.
“I really hope im not gonna be tra-pped in here by the ghost guy.” Jardel said and I vexed and Jay was being affected by the ‘ghost guy’ he’s calling him.
“I told you not to call him that. His name is Jay!” I yelled at him.
He looked into my eyes, “Im sorry.” He said and then scanned around.
“Hey Jay. Im sorry for that. Not gonna happen again. Trust me.” He said, looking beside me.
“He’s there at the couch.. Not beside me.” I said pointing at the couch where Jay sat, looking at us.
He inhaled.
“Can’t believe this is actually a reality. I mean, you are seeing a ghost. And I can’t. And he’s here with us. It freaks!” He said.
I glanced at Jay.
“Tell him everything Nana.” Jay said.
I eyed him…
Im just doing this for you, cute freak.
I turned back to Jardel.
“Let’s seat.” I said and walked to another couch and sat.
Jardel stood.
Suits him!
And he kept staring occas-sionally at the couch where I pointed to him that Jay is but the funniest thing is that, Jay is currently standing beside him now.
Jay poked his ton-gue out and I chuckled.
“What’s that Nana?” Jardel asked, looking at me.
“Don’t flin-ch if I tell you Jay is beside you now.” I said, poining my f!nger at the side where he is and Jardel turned to see.
“Freaks!” He said and laughed.
He didn’t flin-ch..
Whatever.
Jay smiled, noticing my little annoyance.
Then he vanished and appeared sitting beside me.
“Man, why you beside me? Go get a seat. I can’t fv¢king see you.” Jardel said, still looking beside him.
I chuckled.
“He’s no more there.” I said.
He chuckled. “Where then?”
“Here beside me.” I said and smiled.
Jardel didn’t smile. He just moved to the couch where Jay had sat then and sat down.
“He’s really cute tho.” Jay said.
I rolled my eyes..
“Jay nee-ds our help.” I said to Jardel who now had the TV remote in his hand.
“Our? thought you said he nee-ded just my help.” He said.
“He nee-ds our help!” I said.
“Do Kiania know about him and when did you met him and how?” He asked.
Questions!
“Tell him everything Nana.” Jay said.
“Now you just shut your tra-p up Jay!” I said and saw Jardel smile.
Why’s the cra-p smiling?
“Kiki don’t know about this.. She’s still a little kid and its gonna scare her to nightmares which I really don’t want.” I said and glanced at Jay.
He was staring at myl-ips..
Yes… Why?
“Do she know about our break up. I knew you to always tell Kiki everything.” He said.
I felt my heart ache by that word ‘breakup’
“Nana don’t talk about it.” Jay said.
I un-derstood he was referring to the breakup so I waved it off..
Holding back my emotions.
“I’ll just tell you about why you’re in here.” I said.
“Let him excuse us for awhile, we nee-d to talk about us Nana.” He said.
I got so vexed up.
“If you don’t wanna help then just fv¢king get lost from my house!” I fired at him.
Jay li-cked his bottoml-ip.
“Im sorry Nana.” Jardel said.
“Jay thinks he’s not really dead… I was coming from visiting mom and dad when I saw him sitting at the middle of the high way…”
I continued as I told him everything..
That Jay nee-ds to find his b©dy and he thinks he might get back to life after that.
Told him he’s scared of going home and meeting cops.
“It’s fine.. I’ll follow you guys to the forest.” Jardel said after listening to it all..
I glanced at Jay.
He wow hisl-ips, then smiled wi-dely.
“Thankss.. What’s his name?” He asked.
“Jardel.” I said.
Jay looked at Jardel, “Thanks Jard.” He said.
Jard?
And why was he talking to him as if Jardel could see him?
Haha. Funny.
“Tell him how grateful I am.” Jay said.
“He’s grateful.” I said to Jardel.
“That wouldn’t have been the way I would have said it.” Jay said and li-cked hisl-ips.
I eyed him.
Jardel just shrugged and smiled.
“Anything for you Nana.” He said.
I hissed.
#Chapter 14
#Nana ‘s POV [Continues]
It was eleven minutes to twelve when we set out to head to the forest..
Jardel choosed to drive and I hissed twice before giving him the keys.
I yelled continously at him on how he drive too r0ûghly.
I just hate that he’s here!
Even though I wanted him back…
I love… I loved him.
But I don’t un-derstand why I don’t fv¢king want him again..
He should go on with Becca..
God! I don’t know why im stuck inbetween two misery.
A heartbreaker and A ghost!
Pedro accepted to pick Kiki if we by anyway come back too late… But that would never happen.
Though we (Jardel and I) gave him an excuse of going elsewhere not to a forest to search for a dead b©dy or rather, a half-dead b©dy.
He’do think we’ve gone nuts.
“Im not spending more than four hours in that forest.” I said.
Jay was at the back so I couldn’t see him but im sure he knows Im talking to him.
“Don’t be scared Nana.” He said from the back seat.
“Im here with you.” Jardel said.
I glared at Jardel.
What did he mean by that?
Idiot.
The drive was silence, except for my continues loud beating heart..
An hour later, Jardel pu-ll-ed to a st©p at a little track road that leads into the forest..
“This is the road I saw the highway from,” Jay said just as we saw the long narrow track road.
I had a black pu-llover with me, so I pu-ll-ed it on, packed my hair into a bun and Jardel took the tract road, ri-ding into the forest..
The forest felt so cold and I was getting scared.
Scared? Why?
Jay was still at the back and his gaze was focused out now.
“I think this forest is so scary tho.” Jardel said.
“Not quite.” I said, Even though I was dying of fright alre-ady.
“Really?” He said and looked at me.
“Yap.” I said and turn my head to look at Jay.
He has a funny smile on his face, staring at me now.
“Is he still there or he’s vanished?” Jardel asked.
“He has vanished.” I lied.
Jay raised his eyebrows..
Jardel g@sped, the chuckled.
“St©p pla-ying Nana.. You could have said it yourself if the ghostboy is no more in this car.” He said and took a quic-k glance back.
Like he would even see Jay at all.
Im the only one who sees him.
So why’s he acting like he could?
I hissed.
“Why did you lie to him?” Jay asked..
“Cos I want to!” I said it before realizing.
Jardel looked at me.
“Cos you want to?” He asked.
“Im talking to Jay.” I said.
He chuckled.
“But you said he disappeared?”
I rolled my eyes as my thought splashed back.
Jay was laughing now..
“He’s back!” I said.
Jardel began laughing.
“Nana, now you are the one ma-king me get scared.” He said.
I smiled.
We got to a little stream and Jardel pu-ll-ed to a st©p.
“We are taking the right path. Cos I met this stream too.” Jay said.
“He say we are taking the right path. cos he saw this stream.” I said to Jardel who just opened his door to go out.
I watched him go to the stream, put his hands on his w@!st to stare at the stream.
Just then, Jay appeared, sitting on the driver’s seat and looking at me.
“What if I scare him a little?” Jay asked and glanced at Jardel who was still staring at the stream.
I frowned,
“Scare him with what?” I asked.
He didn’t answer.
All he did was turn on the car and zoomed off with a laughter.
“Jay!” I yelled.
Jardel shouted and began running forward..
Jay smiled and st©pped the car and moved it back to meet Jardel.
“What the fv¢k happened?” Jardel screamed.

Jay smiled and vanished out of the driver’s seat back to the backseat.
I breathed a relief.
“Are you scared Nana?” Jay asked.
“You freaks!” I yelled at him.
Jardel got into the driver’s seat and looked at me.
“Why did you drive the car Nana?” Jardel asked.
“Im not the only one in this car. I didn’t drive the car.” I snapped.
“Who then did?” He asked.
I looked at Jay.
“Jay” I replied.
“Why?” Jardel asked.
I looked at Jay again, He had a pale face now.
“He was taking too long out there. You know how much I really nee-d to find my b©dy.” Jay said.
I looked back at Jardel.
His eyebrows are raised.

Jardel looked away and began driving..
“Why did you go out?” I asked him.
“To just look at the stream.” He said.
We drove really further and when we got to a side filled up with fallen dry leaves, Jay yelled us to st©p.
“Why?” I asked.
Jardel looked at me.
“Cos there’s swamp un-der those fallen dry leaves.” He said.
I g@sped.
“Don’t move more! There’s swamp there.” I yelled at Jardel.
He pushed the br@kes and st©pped just immediately.
“How do we cross then?” I asked.
“What?” Jardel asked.
“Didn’t you hear me?” I frowned.
“Ask the ghost boy. They say Ghosts got extra-ordinary powers. Don’t he know?” Jardel asked.
I looked at Jay.
“I’ll think of something.” Jay said.
“He’s thinking of something.” I said.
“Why ain’t I seeing this ghostboy.” Jardel said.
“St©p calling hin that Jardel.” I said.
Jay closed his eyes and after awhile, opened them back and vanished out of the car.
I saw him standing outside, in front of the car, looking at the dry leaves.
“Haven’t he thought of something?” Jardel asked and turned to look at the backseat.
“He’s no more in the car.” I said.
He looked at me instantly.
“Where??” He asked.
“Outside. He wanna do something.” I said.
“Tell him to come in. I got something to suggest.” Jardel said.
“Tell him. He hears you.” I said and rested on the headrest.
Jardel watched me for awhile.
His looks was taking too much and I concentrated on the windscreen, watching Jay.
Then I think I saw Jardel’s face getting closer to mine.
Huh?
I looked at him and he paused.
“Nana.. I.. still love you.” He said.
“What are you tryna do?” I asked, looking at him with fury.
He shook his head.
“I want you back Nana. I realized that you are the best girl in the whole world.” He said.
“You had your chance, but you messed it up. Don’t come near me you as-s-hole.” I said and pushed him away.
“Im sorry Nana.” He said and started coming close again.
bit-ch!
“JAY!!” I shouted.
Jardel flashed eyes at the windscreen.
Jay turned to look at me.
Then, the next thing, He vanished and appeared in the backseat and Jardel pu-ll-ed himself back instantly.
“What kinda f0rç£ was that? Something pu-ll-ed me back.” Jardel said and ru-bbe-d his forehead?
I looked at Jay and he smiled.
I smiled back.
His handiwork.
“So Jay any idea?” I asked him.
He shook his head.
I sighed and looked at Jardel who was still ru-bbing his forehead.
“So are you gonna tell us your suggestion?” I asked Jardel.
“None.” He said.
I glared at him.
“We just gotta take another route.” Jay said.
“Route? I can’t see any route here ap@rt from this one.” I said.
“re-ad and heard that when a ghost k!ssa human, the human turns out a ghost too.” Jardel said after awhile.
Finally he did! but his suggestion make no s-en-se.
But there is something I noticed..
Jay’s face lightened up immediately
