Betty was sitting in Nathan’s office as they were both working on something
“Okay leave this Betty and go home, Liam should be back at any minute from” Nathan said
“Don’t worry I won’t take long, let me finish this” Betty said with a sweet smile
“Um, can you pas-s the white paper to me?” She asked as she was typing something in the l@ptĀ©p
Few of her hair strands fell over her face and she arranged them back not taking her eyes off the l@ptĀ©p screen
“Come on hand me the paper and stĀ©p smiling” she said again to Nathan who has been smiling and watching her for over a minute now
“Yunno, you’ve become something else, ion know why you just keep amusing me day by day” he smiled and Betty just made cute faces at him before resuming her work
Time flew by and it was alre-ady 3:02pm
“Liam must be home now, I haven’t made lunch yet” Betty g@sped
“Ofcourse that’s why I was telling you to stĀ©p working and go home” Nathan said and Betty pla-yfully hit his arms
“I’m ra-pping up now” she sighed as she closed the l@ptĀ©p and began packing her things
“Don’t worry my love, you’ll see me later, ion know why you miss me to much” Nathan grinned while Betty shook her head
She made to open the door but suddenly Nathan appeared behind her, he pu-ll-ed her back, ma-king her face him
“You’re forgetting something” he said huskily
“What?” She asked in a whisper
“This” with that he pressed hisl-ips ha-rd ly against hers before pu-lling away
Betty smiled and hit his nose lightly, she turned the leave but almost fall. It was because Liam was standing there still on his uniform, grinning along with Justin
“I’m sorry ma’am,I couldn’t stĀ©p him” Justin said
Betty looked at Liam and smiled
“Don’t smile, I saw you and daddy doing something, what was that!’ he asked confusedly
“What was what?” Nathan asked back with a smile

Betty hit his arm ha-rd ly before he could finish talking

“Oh we were supposed to hide it” Nathan sounded as innocent as an angel

“No, I wanna stay here” Liam pouted
“But you’re still in your uniform and you haven’t eaten lunch yet” Betty said
“Justin will get my cloth, I would bath in daddy’s office” he said
“Daddy’s office?” Betty repeated
“There’s a room and a restroom at the back, don’t act like you don’t know” he said and Nathan smiled
” Then as for lunch, I’ll get it at the cafeteria” he shurgged
” Awwn aren’t you too smart” Nathan grinned pinching his che-st
” My mom is smart my dad is smart, what do you expect” the boy said cutely. Betty smiled and carried him
” Umm Justin
” I Know and I’m going” Justin cut her off with a smile before leaving
” Let’s go shower, comeon mom” Liam ran to the bathroom with full speed
” Liam I told you not to run didn’t i” Betty complained as she ran after him with Nathan grinning

It was alre-ady evening, the dark breezy with only mixture of red, blue, yellow and white blurry light of some pas-sing cars and street light
The glas-s door of a restaurant opened and Regina c@mĀ£ out with Evan, they were both holding hands and giggling among themselves
Just as they were about to take a next step forward, Evan suddenly stĀ©pped and frowned
Regina eyes followed his direction and it was Jasmine, she was standing opposite them with a guilty look on her face
Three of them were quite for a while, just staring at each other and their eyes were saying let’s settle down and have some talk

A silent quite restaurant, the only sound was that of the piano and people eating with their cutleries
Regina and Evan was sitting together while Jasmine was sitting opposite them with her head faced down
” So do you have anything to say?” Regina asked and Jasmine looked up at her
” I just wanna apologize, I can’t believe I learnt my mistake the ha-rd way, I’m really really sorry for everything I’ve done to everyone, especially you. You did nothing but love me and I treated you so badly, I’m-
“Save it, he doesn’t love you anymore as you can see he have his rightfully sugar pie with him now so save it” Regina cut her off
Jasmine smiled faintly. “I know and I’m happy that he finally moved on from a bad woman like me, I just wanna apologize and nothing more, plea-se forgive me” she cried softly
“Jasmine” Evan calls softly, taking her hands
Regina felt really angry with the scene so she excused herself
“When you’re done meet me outside” she shouted before leaving
Evan just chuckled and continue
“Look I’m happy you’ve learnt your lesson, I forgive you okay but another person nee-ds it more, you don’t have to worry about breaking my heart it’s alre-ady fixed by my one and only sugar pie” he smiled
Jasmine smiled too. “Thanks, I think you should go after her” she added
“Yeah, umm so talk to Nathan and Betty, show them that you’ve really changed okay” Evan said and Jasmine smiled and nodded
“Okay I’ll be leaving now, good night” Evan stood up and ran outside while Jasmine just smiled and sighed

“Regina wait up” Evan laughed as he was running after her
He’s feeling so amused that his girl can be the jealous type too
“What if you’re interested in her then go, I’m not stĀ©pping you” she yelled
Evan finally meet up with her and hvgged her from behind still laughing
“She was one of my old friend, yes I liked her before but someone else has taken over” he whispered in her ears
Regina smiled a little but regained her composure
“Let go of me, I’m still very mad at you” she huffed
“Come on sugar pie” he pouted as he k!$$Ā£d her nĀ£Ā¢k and ear-lobe ma-king her giggle
“StĀ©p it tickles” she laughed
“Forgive me” he pouted
“Fine you stupid jĀ£rk” she said as she turned to him
“A k!ssplea-se” she pouted herl-ips ma-king him smiled
He pu-ll-ed her closer and took herl-ips in, they both k!$$Ā£d pas-sionately outside the cool breezy road, not caring if anyone would be pas-sing by

NEXT DAY**
It was alre-ady 4pm, it was a h0t afternoon. Jasmine just c@mĀ£ down from a cab that stĀ©pped at Nathan mansion
She’s no longer rich so looking at the giant gate was surprising to her, she sighed and knocked on the gate
It opens revea-ling rolls of guards, Hawking at her weirdly

Jasmine knocked on the door, it’s been long she’s been to a hvge and beautiful place like this so she was feeling kinda nervous
She just live in a small house now, if you’re wondering how she earns a living well, she goes around looking for job to do at big companies but they don’t accept her cause of her criminal records and strong attitude
Having no choice she has to scoop so low that is to start working at a mini restaurant but cause of her wrong attitude she got kicked out yesterday
She sighed as she c@mĀ£ back to earth, she was about to knock the door again but it opened revea-ling Justin
Jasmine hand froze in mid air, staring at those de-ep blue eyes that held no warmth except hatred for her
Justin sighed quitely, he made to close the door on her but Jasmine pushed it back open
“plea-se Justin I nee-d to see Betty” she pleaded
“Why? Cause you’re broke and helpless now, that’s how you are cunning bi*ch listen just leave before I push you out myself” Justin said coldly as he made to close the door again, she held it
“plea-se Justin, it’s not like that I truly wanna apologize” she pleaded, her eyes were getting teary alre-ady
“Listen to me, you can’t get anything from ma’am Betty, I get it she bailed you out but that doesn’t mean you two can be close buddy, just leave now” Justin said harshly
A tear dropped from Jasmine’s eyes as she opened her mouth to say something but Betty appeared from behind

Justin glared at Jasmine before leaving

Betty stared at nothing for a while before blinking
“Is that Jasmine and did she just apologized??” she asked herself before sighing and going back upstairs
Liam is still eating at the dinning once he sighted his mom he smiled
“Mom who’s that?” He asked
“Oh it’s nothing,come on eat up” Betty smiled and Liam just shurgged and faced him food

Liam is busy chatting with to guys in the clas-sroom when Jerry walked in
“Liam, what you people talking bout?” Jerry asked as he sat with them
“I’m teaching them something I learnt from my mom and dad” Liam replied

The remaining two boys were listening with great interest

Evelyn just finished her clas-s, she took her phone and called up Jasmine
“Yes hello, was-sup sis” Jasmine sounded odd
“Sis what’s wrong have you been crying?” Evelyn asked
“No sis why would I cry, tell me why you called and plea-se focus more on your studies and stĀ©p worrying about me, you’re in your final year for crying out loud” Jasmine scolded
“Sis I know you’re not fine, it’s not the right time to scold me and mind you that I’m not a baby anymore, so don’t feel scared to ask me for something” Evelyn said angrily
“Okay fine I’m not fine okay, I’m as broke as hell, I miss my old life back” Jasmine finally confessed
“Then I’ll see what I can do” Evelyn said

Evelyn alre-ady hanged up
“Babe” Freddy called,he had been leaning by his locker and listening to her conversation
“Freddy” Evelyn rushed to hvg him ti-ght

“Let’s go gr-ab something to eat, clas-s has been so stressful today” Freddy said as he took her hands

Four guys could be seen sitting outside and smoking
“What club next?” Frank asked a guy with dre-ad
“Patrick’s club, h0t bit-ches are everywhere there” Adain laughed
“Roger say something you’re quiet why?” The third guy Fabio asked
“Any club that fvĀ¢k bit-ches” Roger replied
“Let’s cheers to that” Frank shouted
“Welcome back my dear Evelyn as you can see I’m back for you, you successfully ruined my life with that stupid ch!pmunk bĀ©yfriĀ£ndof yours, all because of you my parents disowned me, I’m now a drop out an idiot, who just smoke drink and fvĀ¢k bit-ches” he thought as a tear drop fell from his eyes
“Roger still on that chick of three years back. Move on” Fabio said
“It’s not easy to do so,she ruined my life, now she’s schooling hoping for a better future but look at me” Roger spat angrily
“You caused it, if you haven’t gone physical violence on her like I warned you then all this wouldn’t have happened” Frank said
“You’re talking because you still have a life” Roger said with a bitter smile
“You guys should have stayed away from that girl at the first place” Adain said
“Yea I once asked her out and she snubbe-d me so I decided to teach her a lesson why placing her on a bet with Roger, successfully she fell for him, he was supposed to take her flower as instructed but he started using physical violence on her” Frank said
“Shut the fvĀ¢k up, I’ll get my revenge no matter what you guys say” Roger snapped as he stood up
“Roger” Frank stood up too
“Just forget it, you might get yourself into more trouble” Frank added
“My life is alre-ady a mess, no parent, no loved ones so ion care anymore” with that Roger left their sight
