“Who are these people Liam?” Gwyneth asked
“My friends, meet Jerry, Blake, Linda and Suga” Liam said and they all waved at her
“Okay why are they here?” She asked
“We wanna do our home work together, don’t worry we’ll go to the dinning, you can keep on watching your movie” Liam said
Gwyneth then watched all of them pack themselves to the dinning table
“Your phone is ringing” Linda shouted , Gwyneth rushed to carry her phone
“Regina what’s up” she asked when she picked the call
“Girl, Xavier is awake, better come to the hospital” Regina said
“What difference would it make, I’m not coming” Gwyneth mumbled
“Come on Gwyneth, don’t be like this just come” Regina said and hanged up
“Childrens pack your bags, we have some where to go” Gwyneth shouted with a sigh

WINSTON HOSPITAL**
“Daddy” Jerry shouted as he rushed to hvg doctor Winston
“Are you selling Childers?” Charles asked when Gwyneth stepped in
“I wish I call sell them” she replied
“Uncle Xavier” Liam shouted as he rushed throu-gh where Xavier was lying
“You’re awake, I thought you’ll sleep for three years like Daddy” Liam said
“You want me to?” Xavier chuckled
“Nope, no way” Liam shook his head
Xavier smiled, his eyes searched everywhere looking for someone
“Won’t you say hi?” Regina said to Gwyneth
“Ion want anymore rejections so I better not cross my lane” Gwyneth said
“It doesn’t matter if you’re rejected, just tell him hi and anyhow” Regina said, pushing Gwyneth over there
“Woah pushy” Gwyneth scoffed and entered Xavier ward
When he saw her he looked side ways
“I just wanna say that I’m happy you didn’t die and to tell you welcome back” she smiled but he said nothing
In a split second she saw him smiling, she thought it was her but she was wrong. It was Jasmine who was behind her
“Okay then” Gwyneth said and left
“Why in a rush?” Regina asked
“I told you he’s not happy to see me right?, I just keep on embarras-sing myself and this would be the last time, I promise” Gwyneth said and left

PARIS, DAYS LATER**
Nathan kept on doing a vedio call with Xavier, Betty got tired and went to sleep inside
After many minutes Nathan c@m£ to the room, he sighed when he saw fast asleep he then went to shower and joined her in be-d
Betty wiggled from her sleep
“Nathan?” She called sleepily
“Yes hunny, it’s me” he k!$$£d her forehead
“So you’re done calling your husband?” She asked

“Yeah you kept on talking to him and forgot about me” she pouted

“Leave me” Betty scoffed and looked elsewhere

“You’re on your own, better sleep cause this is our last night here” Betty scoffed
Then it dawned on Nathan that they had spent two weeks together alre-ady
“So fast, no no” he grumbled while Betty chuckled at his behavior

Evelyn c@m£ out of her dorm with a smile
“What’s up babe?” Tara asked, coming out of the cafeteria with Gavin
“Nothing, it’s just good news for Freddy by the way, where is he?” Evelyn asked
“At the field with Leo” Tara replied
“Okay, gotta run” Evelyn waved as she ran out

“Pssst” she called out to Freddy, who was pla-ying ball with some boys
Freddy st©pped and turned to her. “BRB” he said to the boys as he rushed over to her
“What’s up babe, you can’t hvg me I’m sweating” he said when Evelyn was about to hvg him
Evelyn rolled her eyes, she took his hand and walked a bit front
“I just talked with my parents, I’ve been telling them about you and finally they wanna meet you” she said
“Really..’ Freddy scratched the back of his n£¢k nervously
“Come on Freddy, they are celeb but they are cool trust me” Evelyn pouted as she swinged his arms
“Calm down babe, I’m Freddy the one and only guy that captured your heart. I can capture theirs too” he said confidently

“I’m smelling jealousy” Evelyn tea-sed

The boys began shouting Freddy’s name, Freddy then smiled and pe-cked herl-ips

Evening**
Nathan and Betty arrived back , they went straight to Evan mansion
“Mummy and daddy are back” Liam shouted in excitement when Nathan stepped in with Betty
“I’ve missed you so much” Betty hvgged him ti-ght
“Come here kiddo” Nathan also hvgged him ti-ght
“Thanks y’all for watching over him for us, I’m really grateful” Betty said to Regina, Evan and Gwyneth who is lying on the couch
“It’s nothing, this boy is amazing, I’ll miss him” Regina said
“Well I won’t” Gwyneth shouted from the couch
“But I would” Liam said as he rushed to hvg her
All of them chorused an ‘awwwwn’ which Gwyneth couldn’t resist so she hvgged him back
“Take care champ” Evan ru-bbe-d his shoulders as they were leaving
Gwyneth went straight to her room and was about to l@yon her be-d but her phone began ringing
It was an unknown number, she picked it
“Are you the daughter of Mrs Tamaya Jones?” The person asked
“Yes any problem?” She asked
“Your mother just pas-sed away” the person said
The phone sli-pped of Gwyneth hand immediately

“Anyways, we miss you man” Nathan smiled too
“Thanks umm, sorry bout the commotion I displa-yed at your wedding” Xavier said
“Hey no qualms, now get to work” Nathan said pla-yfully earning a chuckle from Xavier
“Hey let’s go to your office” Charles said, wra-pping his Xavier as they both left

CITTY’S PASTRIES**
“Cindy are they any bre-ads, re-ady yet” Jasmine shouted from the show glas-s
“Yeap coming” Cindy said, bring bunches of bre-ads, she dropped them in the large truck and cleaned her sweat
“That’s completely 300 bre-ads?” The man said
“Just shut up and s£nd those money” Jasmine hushed him
He gave her an uncertain look before doing a transfer and leaving
“Jasmine come with me” Cindy said, walking into the kitchen

“Well, it’s been a blast here for a while now and surprisingly you’re doing very well and-

“Well your salary for this month increa-sed, I think it’s because several companies comes here to order pastries” Cindy said
“Really that’s good news, can I have my money now” Jasmine smiled

It was getting dark, Jasmine is watching the plates and bowls in the kitchen while Cindy is packing up. A car st©pped at the front of the bakery and Xavier got down
“Good evening Cindy” he smiled
“Jasmine is the in the kitchen, feel free” Cindy win-ked
Xavier nodded and went to the kitchen
“Jas” he called
“Xavier, what you’re here today” Jasmine g@sped
“Don’t tell me you forgot about going on a d@t£ with me” Xavier said
Jasmine face palmed herself and quic-kly dried her hands, thankfully she has just finished watching the plates
“You’re to persistence, let’s go” she said as she took Xavier’s hand
“Cindy I’ll be leaving now” she shouted before leaving with him

Before they went to the restaurant, Xavier took Jasmine to a boutique where she had to change her cloth
They then got to the ro-mantic restaurant, Xavier booked for a ro-mantic table outside, decorated with candles and flowers, everything just looked special
Jasmine was busy eating in silence while Xavier was thinking of things he’d say, he kept stealing glances at her every now and then
“St©p looking talk, tell me what you called me here for?” Jasmine said
“Well it’s about us” he spoke
Jasmine dropped her cutleries and looked at him sternly
“You see Xavier, there’s no us, they’ll never be an us. Ion know how to tell you this gently but I really don’t like you that way, I’m happy I’ve moved on from Nathan and I’m interested in someone else” she said
“Justin?” Xavier asked painfully
“Yes him” Jasmine replied
“But he’s just a b©dy guard, why him. He can’t make you happy like I can” Xavier said tearing up alre-ady
“I don’t care who or what he is, the point is that I love him and he loves me too. We alre-ady agreed to take things slow and listen I wanna put all my best in this. I hope you can un-derstand, I’m sorry” Jasmine said
There was moment of silence before she stood up and left Xavier shading uncontrollable tears

Xavier got home and walked silently to his room
“Man what’s up?” Charles asked as he stood up from the couch he was laying on
“You look so down, talk to me” Charles said
Xavier looked at him as tears poured from his eyes
“She rejected me, what do I do now” he cried
“Come on men, sit down” Charles pu-ll-ed him to sit
“Don’t look like this just because of a woman” Charles said
“How do you expect me to feel, I loved her and she told me she doesn’t love me that she loved a b©dy guard, a fv¢king b©dy guard” Xavier said in tears
“I can’t take this, this pain is too much to bear” he added
“Really, then what you can’t take, don’t do it for others” Charles said
“Meaning?” Xavier asked wipping his tears
“I heard Gwyneth once told you that she liked you and how was your response, very harsh. Did you ever care or thought about how she felt” Charles said
“I thought she was pla-ying, she never take anything serious remember?” Xavier tried defending
“She wasn’t pla-ying, you hurt her really bad, she cried day and night, she doesn’t ear well. Worse Jasmine let you down smoothly and you’re crying what about her?” Charles said

“I bet you didn’t know she gave you her blood when you were in critical condition, but you woke up and still Jasmine, how did she felt too” Charles said
Xavier opened his mouth but no words could come out
“Yeah better ponder on that” Charles said before leaving

NATHAN MANSION**
Nathan is arranging the be-d cover while Betty is creaming her face, they were talking about Tamaya’s death
“I know she ruined our relationsh!pbut I still feel sad, I mean Lisa, Gwyneth and Evan would be devistated especially Lisa” Betty said
“Yeah but, do you know it’s money that killed her, she tried stealing from a dangerous mafia leader but unfortunately she got cought, I heard they R@p£d her more than five times before killing her” Nathan said
“I seriously don’t un-derstand why that woman act like she doesn’t have money, she’s too young to die like that” Betty said sadly
“Mom dad” Liam rushed to their room with his big kungfu panda toy
“I’m slee-ping with you both today” he said and jumped on the be-d
“Can’t you see I just arranged that” Nathan hissed but it made Liam stick his ton-gue out at him
Betty didn’t mind she just l@ybeside him and hvgged him
“If you aren’t happy dad then go sleep in my room” Liam said
“Roll over” Nathan scoffed and l@ydown too
Liam smiled brightly and hvgged the both of them ti-ght. The boy is surely troublesome

Next day**
Xavier had thought about everything and that was when he realized that he had been a big time j£rk
He decided that today he would go to Gwyneth to apologize. His car st©pped at Evan’s mansion and it was alre-ady 12:00 in the afternoon
He knocked and knocked on the door before it finally opened and Regina can come out, giving him a flat look
“Regina, it’s Gwyn inside?” He asked
“So now you remember who Gwyneth is” Regina scoffed
“plea-se I nee-d to talk with her, I know I’ve been a j£rk but plea-se just call her plea-se” he pleaded
“Chances are rare you had plenty of chance but you misused them, now it’s to late” Regina said
“What. What do you mean?” Xavier asked, feeling scared alre-ady
“Gwyneth just left the country this morning, and she’s not coming back anytime soon” Regina said
