“Just shake it off Gwen, you don’t care about them or anything” Gwyneth tried talking to herself but it was useless
It kept hitting her over and over again, why did her heart decide to beat for someone as heartless as him??
She couldn’t help but cry. A car stĀ©pped at her front and Regina got down with a hvge yellow umbrella
“Gwyneth, get it” she said
Gwyneth just looked at her with teary eyes
“Come on just get it, it’s pouring heavily” Regina said and Gwyneth slowly entered
“Why do you look like that, what did br@dford say?” Regina asked
Gwyneth chuckled dryly and looked at Regina
“He said, I’m to dumb for his liking” she answer with a smile
“That jĀ£rk” Regina cursed, she looked at Gwyneth and she could tell something else was bugging her
“Gwyneth, tell me” Regina said softly when she noticed Gwyneth hiccu-ping silently
“It’s Xavier isn’t it?” Regina asked, when Gwyneth didn’t talk Regina sighed
“We agreed to forget him right?” Regina said
“I know but it’s ha-rd , earlier I saw him with Jasmine, they were chatting happily, he looked so comfortable with her but if it’s me” she bur-st out crying
“Come on Gwen, he’s missing a lot, it’s his loss not yours” Regina cooed as she hvgged her ti-ght
“When you love someone you should be happy right, when tell me why mine is different, why does mine hurt?, Is it because I’m dumb and childish” Gwyneth asked in amidst tears
“plea-se don’t say that, there’s someone out there that’ll cherish this baby behavior of yours but maybe it’s not him, don’t curse yourself plea-se he’s not worth it” Regina said
Gwyneth nodded and cleaned her tears

Regina nodded and started the engine

“StĀ©p that’s my house, thanks for the ride” Jasmine said, she made to open the door but Xavier held her hand

“But I know you, Xavier the greatest wom-anizer all what he’s good at is to get into women’s p@n-ts, he didn’t dare approach me cause I used to be obsessed with Nathan, now and I’ve given up, he wants to get into my p@n-ts” Jasmine said

Hisl-ips crashed on hers before she could finish, she tried pushing him but he pinned her to the car and continued devouring herl-ips, he stĀ©pped only when they were both breathless

NATHAN’S MANSION**
“I’m home” Diana announced
“Granny” Liam rushed to hvg her

“Is that a good morning?” Diana asked

“Where’s Regina and Betty?” She asked

“Well go call her and tell her that granny is here” Liam ordered
“Who are you bossing?” Nathan sm-irked
“But tell your fiance that I’m angry with her, she knows I’m coming today and she’s slee-ping” Diana huffed
“I tried waking her but she shouted at me, ion have strength for her drama this morning” Nathan said tiredly
“No problem I’ll go see her, but I’m hungry do something” Diana said, climbing up the stairs
“Liam hunny, go tell the maids to prepare breakfast alre-ady” Nathan said to him
“Okay so what would you do then?” Liam asked, crossing his arms
Nathan looked at him in amusement
“Are you questioning me?” He asked and Liam shurrged
“Better do what I ask of you boy, don’t face my early morning wrath” Nathan said as he ruffled the boys hair
Liam pouted and then ran to the kitchen

Diana got to Betty’s room and met her slee-ping, she stood there for life fifteen minutes but no movement from Betty, sighing she moves to tap her
“Hmmm, Nathan leave me” Betty gro-an ed
“It’s me not Nathan, fvĀ¢king wake up” Diana yelled
“Mom” she called
“No dad, get up” Diana snapped
Betty sat up immediately and sighed
“Are you okay?” Diana asked
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me lately, I feel somehow” Betty said
“How?” Diana asked
“Tired, hungry, vomiting, stressful” Betty said with a pout
Diana sighed and cu-mpped Betty’s cheeks
“Darling you’re expecting your second child”
“I’m pregnant?” Betty repeated with wi-den eyes
“Yeah, go buy a test kit if you don’t believe me” Diana sm-irked
Betty was still looking shocked when the door cracked opened and Nathan entered, looking somehow
“Mom are you sure of what you just said” he asked
“I’m a woman and I can detects things like this, hey congrats” she smiled
“Wait here you two, I’ll be right back” Nathan smiled and next thing he rushed out
“Where are you going?” Liam asked but Nathan didn’t respond, he just kept running
Liam got scared and chased after him while the maids watched in awe

“No Liam let’s go upstairs” Justin said
“No I wanna follow daddy” Liam started crying
Betty rushed down in fright when she heard Liam scream
“What’s wrong baby” she asked as she pu-ll-ed him for a hvg

Betty looked at Justin who just shurgged
“Well daddy is coming back okay” Betty cooed
Liam kept crying, he refused to go inside till Nathan got back, he stepped out of his car with a white pharmacy nylon
“What’s wrong my boy?” He asked when he saw Liam crying
“I thought you left” Liam said sniffing
“No daddy went to buy something, I won’t ever leave you” Nathan said
Liam looked at Nathan’s hand and smiled
“Is that for me? He asked
Before Nathan could talk, Liam gr@bbĀ£d the nylon from him and ran upstairs
“Liam come back here” Nathan chased after the boy
“What, isn’t it you that said you left to buy me this” Liam said

Liam sm-irked and rushed to Justin and Nathan sighed of relief
“Betty come on” he whisper and Betty c@mĀ£ to him, he took her hand and they both rushed upstairs
“Nathan some of this are fake this days” Betty was talking but Nathan kept pushing her to the restroom
“Just check it, I bought plenty” he said
Betty sighed and went to the restroom, few mins later she opened the door and stretched it to him before closing the door back
“What did it say?” He asked as he checked it out
“Two lines” he murmured

“Betty open the door or I’ll break it down” Nathan said, trying to control his happiness
Slowly Betty opened the door and next thing she was dragged to his strong arms
“Betty you don’t know how happy I am, thank you, thank you so much” Nathan said in tears, hvgging her even ti-ghter
“I promise I’ll stay right here, I won’t ever leave, I won’t go anywhere, I promise” he said and then pu-ll-ed away from the hvg, he fell on his knees and began showering her tummy with happy k!sses ma-king Betty giggle ha-rder
He pu-ll-ed away and rose up. “I love you” he said happily
“I love you too” Betty smiled
Nathan pu-ll-ed her for a de-ep k!ssbut the door opened and angry Liam barged in allowing them to pu-ll away
“Dad you lied, you didn’t buy me anything” he spat
Both Betty and Nathan sighed of relief
“I’ll take us to a nice restaurant, I’ll treat you with whatever you want how about that?” Nathan asked
“Deal” Liam shook hands with him and ran out of the room
“So cute” Nathan smiled
“Like me” Betty smiled too and Nathan pushed pinched her cheeks

ONE WEEK LATER**
LILLIAN’S WEDDING ROPES**
Diana and Betty were in their dark shades and they stepped down from the car and entered the wedding ropes boutique
Diana suggests that Betty should get married before her baby bu-mp starts showing
So in a month time Nathan and Betty will be getting married and they would perform it at the backyard. At least the backyard is good enough for the event
“Okay miss come this way” the woman that would measure Betty said
“Umm, make it bigger than her, so the dress would fit in a month time” Diana said while Betty rolled her eyes looking at a book of designs
“I think I like this style, not to simple, not to lousy. It’s perfect” Betty said and the woman smiled
Few mins later, Betty c@mĀ£ out of the measurement room
“Come back later for your dress” the woman said
“Later as in?”
“Next week, it’ll be re-ady by next week” the woman smiled, Betty nodded her head in agreement
“Let’s go” Diana took her hands and they both went out

Charles kept on looking at the pregnancy kit in surprised
“She actually got pregnant” Charles said
“Yeah, I’m so happy I thought she’ll never conceive again, the doc said her chances were low” Nathan said
“Men this good news, you’re now a father of two. Come here, give me a hvg” Charles smiled as he spre-ad his arms wi-de while Nathan eyed him and scoffed
“Betty go get Cindy pregnant”
“Seriously?? Come let me tell you a secret” Charles whispered and Nathan brou-ght his face closer
“Cindy and I are getting there soon” he laughed while Nathan rolled his eyes
“Seriously when will you two get married” Nathan said
“When I propose and fix the d@tĀ£” Charles said
“Whatever” Nathan rolled his eyes
“Do you wanna here a gist?” Charles asked and Nathan nodded
“Xavier is in love with Jasmine” Charles said

ONE MONTH LATER**
The backyard was greatly decorated, the chairs arranged were enough, Betty is still in her room with Cindy and the rest
Charles is talking to the priest, some people were sitting like doctor Winston, his wife, son and his friends
Liam is with Jerry and other kids, Xavier is busy looking at Jasmine while Nathan just stepped in with his mom, he was dressed in a neat black suit, when Liam saw him, he rushed to hvg him
“Dad what about mom?” He asked
“Mom would be out soon” Nathan smiled
“You look handsome,I know you got in from me” Liam grinned and Nathan just chuckled
“Brother in law” that was Freddy coming in with Evelyn
“Freddy, I’m glad you c@mĀ£” Nathan shook hands with him
“Uncle” Liam hvgged Freddy and Freddy lifted him up
“Aunty beauty” he waved at Evelyn and she k!$$Ā£d his cheeks
“I wanna do mine” he pouted
Evelyn smiled and turned her cheek and Liam pe-cked her
“What about me?” Freddy pretended to be angry
“Dad said it’s for only girls” Liam replied

“You talk to much” Freddy chuckled and put him down

BETTY’S ROOM**
The girls alre-ady dressed Betty in the not to simple not to lousy go-wn, Gwyneth helped Betty with her makeup and hair style after she was done she beckoned Betty to check herself in the mirror
The makeup was not to flashy, the hair was wavy and down, very loved it
“Thanks” she smiled
“Sure, now let’s get to meet hubby” Gwyneth smiled
“So the four of you decided to accompany me, how sweet” Betty smiled
“Hey, our backyard our rule” Cindy said and the whole girls bur-st out laughing
“Come on it’s time let’s go” Betty smiled
“Look who’s eager, to meet hubby” Regina tea-sed
“Let’s go” Gwyneth said as they all hold hand with Betty at the middle
“Let’s go” Betty smiled and they all left the room
