Kim nana (Crazy)
“Who’s that?” Dad asked from behind and started coming close but at that time, the police were alre-ady walking into the house.
There was a woman with them – a woman who didn’t seem to be a police cause she looked different from them.
“Officers” dad called and st©pped walking as they were alre-ady in the house.
He was startled. And so were the rest of us.
“Is there a problem?”
“She’s the one!!” The different woman among them said raucously, pointing at the step thing – Rebecca.
Huh?
Dad also turned and looked at her, then back at the police.
“Uh…officers, I’d really appreciate it if you could tell me what’s going on” dad said, asking the curios question.
“Actually Mr Gabriel , we have an arrest warrant for your wife here – Mrs Rebecca. She’s been convicted for the murder of Kira Soo-yin.” One of the policemen replied, arousing a wild g@sp in the room.
What?
I turned and looked at the Rebecca who was putting on a ghostly face.
“I…I don’t un-derstand. What are you talking about?” She scoffed, batting her ugly lashes.
“don’t even try to lie about it, bit-ch!” The woman with the police said.
“Kira didn’t trust you enough to meet up with you pri-vately and she asked me to accompany her there.
“I was hiding by the window and had a clean record of your conversation with her and how you stabbe-d her!! You were scared because she knew your dirty secret; because she knew your pathetic son – Mal-chin – doesn’t belong to Gabriel. She knew he belonged to her brother who you killed because of the same reason. You’re evil, Rebecca – taking lives all because of a man’s wealth. You should be ashamed of yourself”.
The entire room was crowded with a de-ep silence as a eyes revolved around Rebecca.
Hold on; is this for real?
Dad turned in shock and also looked at her.
“Rebecca?” He called agaped, his voice coming out weak.
“Tell me she’s lying”.
“I have the video Mr Gabriel, In case you’ll be nee-ding it” the woman with the police said.
“I didn’t do it” Rebecca shook her head in a whimper.
By this time, one of the policemen were alre-ady bringing out a handcuff.
“plea-se ma’am Rebecca, we’d suggest you remain silent cause anything you say will be used against you in the court of law” the police man said as he reached for her issues.
“No…” She tried to resist.
“I didn’t do it. I didn’t kill anyone. Gabriel plea-se, do something. Don’t let them take me away. plea-se” she cried but the police was alre-ady locking the handcuffs around her hands.
“You’re unbelievable” I muttered, my hand on my w@!st.
“Gabriel plea-se…don’t believe them. I didn’t do it. plea-se” she kept on crying while the police led her out of the house.
Dad was too stunned to move.
Oh my God! I thought such things only happened in movies? I can’t believe this.

Gabriel’s Pov:
I closed the door weakly and silently and went to sit on the be-d.
But instead, I sat on the floor without knowing.
My right hand on my che-st.
The fear of what had just happened repla-yed in my head and danced in front of my very eyes.

Rebecca? She lied to me along? She’s a murderer?
No; it can’t be
I ran my f!ngersinto my hair and let out my agony in a muffled breath. I couldn’t bear to re-lease the tears.
No; I couldn’t.
How’s this possible? How could this happen??
She deceived me! Made me break up with Ha-nuel.
Twenty years ago, she showed up with Mal-chin and told me he was my son. I believed her; thought she was right. Thought I had a son.
She misled me and made me had issues with Ha-nuel. She made me destroy my family and all along, I had no idea she was lying. She was no one to me.
I covered my face with my palms and whimpered.

Less than 24 hours in this mansion and I’m alre-ady seeing hell.
I stood in the sitting room with *mum* and the rest of my sisters as they all talked about the previous drama.
“But mum” Kim ji called in her tender voice.
“Don’t you think we should wait a little longer? We…We nee-d to talk dad”.
“Talk to him about what, Kim?” Mum snapped at her.
“What exactly do we have to talk about? Whatever happened between him and his wife is his family business and not ours”.
“But he’s also our dad” nana said.
“He’s in a difficult situation right now. Don’t you think we should be there for him?”
“Aigo! What has gotten into you? So, do you prefer staying with him or coming along with me, huh?” Mum asked and they both looked at each other.
“But mum…”
Immediately, my phone beeped and I checked to see it was a text message.
Mum and the rest were still talking.

The message re-ad.
I checked the s£nder and discovered it was….Josh.
No.
I g@sped and looked at it in shock.
No; this is not possible.
I looked at mum and my sisters and they were still arguing.
Then, his call c@m£ in immediately.
I shivered with the phone in my hand but tried as much as possible not to let it obvious.
“Um…excuse me” I said, referring to no one in p@rticular and quic-kly rushed outside.
I got out to the pas-sage and ruffled my hair before picking the call.
Oh my God!

I heard his cold voice.
My breath wavered as I sought of what to say, but couldn’t.
📞And here I was, thinking you were in danger, while I had no idea you were enjoying your sweet family reunion”
He sm-irked but still left me speechless.
📞Your new friend -Jeremy – took out time to explain everything to me; although it wasn’t easy getting him to talk.
Oh my God! What has he done with Jeremy?
📞Did you really think you could run away from me, Mi cha? Huh?
📞You have just 30 seconds to come out of the house and meet me in the black car parked outside the gate. 30 seconds, Mi cha, else, I’ll make sure I b!ow off Jeremy’s br@in, right before I kill your parents and sisters. The boys are alre-ady awaiting my orders. Come out in 30 seconds or lose everything. Your time starts now”.

I tried to call but he ended the call alre-ady.

Mi cha (Cold-hearted)
I ran my f!ngersinto my hair and felt like running mad.
No! This is not happening.
Oh, God! No;
I looked at my phone – my thirty seconds was counting and I knew Josh; he was good at carrying out his threats.
What do I do?
Immediately, I went into my phone’s settings and re-moved it from unlocking mood.
Meaning, anyone could access it even without my f!ngerprints.
Then, I kept the phone on the floor and started rushing towards the gate.
Oh, God! I knew this was never going to be over. I knew Josh was going to come back for.me
Oh, damn! I knew it.
I panicked as I opened the gate and went out and there I found the black car like he said.
I halted a little before proceeding towards it, my heart racing so fast.
Oh, Josh! He’s the only guy who’s always made me feel this way.
I got closer to the car and was about knocking on it when I felt someone hold me from behind. I tried to struggle with it, but they placed a napkin over my nose and I felt myself pas-sing out immediately.
Kim nana (Crazy)
Aigo! How do we come to an agreement now? We’ve been arguing for a long time now.
“So, how long do we nee-d to stay here?” Mum asked tiredly.
“Just long enough for us to talk with dad. Come on , mum. We just nee-d to speak with him” Kim ji replied and mum sighed and sat on the couch.
Hold on;
“Where’s Mi cha?” I asked, realizing she’s been gone for too long alre-ady.
Mum and Kim ji also turned to look at me.
“Yeah – that’s true. Where’s she? She had gone out to make a call, right?” Mum asked and started walking out while Kim ji and I followed behind.
We got out to the balcony but couldn’t find any trace of her.
“Her phone” Kim ji called and bent to pick her phone from the floor.
Huh?
“She dropped her phone?”. I asked and collected the phone from her, taking a look at it.
It was unlocked. And a text message was displa-yed on the screen.
I checked the s£nder and it was a message from Josh!!!

“Oh my God!!” I exclaimed.
“What is it?” Mum asked and rushed to me, taking the phone from me.
My eyes wi-de-ned in shock.

Immediately, I started running away like a mad lady.
I ran as fast as I could and rushed out of the gate.

“Jeremy!!!” I skrie-ked and ran to his unconscious b©dy on the floor.

Kim ji and mum c@m£ running out as well.
“Nana!” Mum called, abacked.
“He’s been sh0t! He’s wounded. plea-se get the car, mum! plea-se” I cried as I hvgged Jeremy to myself.

I opened my eyes slowly and found myself on the be-d.
That same be-d – in that same room.
No; don’t tell me I’m back here again.
I sat up and looked around. I wasn’t mistaken! This is the same room. I was back here in the institute.
Oh, damn it!
I left the be-d and tried opening the door, but it was locked.

I can’t believe this is happening. I thought I could escape – escape from everything. But I was mistaken.
I tried opening the door again but the same thing happened and I hit my head and went to sit on the be-d.
Why do I have to be the unlucky twin? Why does it have to be me?
I ruffled my hair as I sat on the be-d and not long after, the door opened with Josh coming in.
My heart gave a might leap as I sprang on feet and moved back in fear.
He had a litted cigarette with him.
“You’re awake” he said and smoked from it while I gulped nervously.
“I’m glad you’re okay, Mi cha. I had been scared Dragon and his boys were gonna hurt you. Really, I’m glad you’re fine
“But when you escaped, I was expecting my girl to run into my arms and give me a welcome hvg. But instead, she left me like a fool and ran to her newly found family. What was your reason, Mi cha. How did you even find them?” He asked and I made a fist with my hand.
“Its a…its a long story” I replied and looked up at him.
“Josh…I don’t wanna be here anymore. I…I want to go back to my family. I want to be with them, plea-se”.
He chuckled and smoked from his stick again and slowly, he started coming towards me.
I moved backwards as he c@m£ close, ma-king my heart leap.
Damn it! I knew I was in trouble alre-ady
“You want to go to your family?” He asked, still coming close to me.
I kept moving back till I got to the wall and couldn’t move anymore.

“The same family that abandoned you?” He asked.
“They didn’t abandon me” I replied.
“My mother explained everything to me and…it was just a misfortune, Josh! She didn’t lose me on purpose”.
He scoffed and li-cked hisl-ips.
“Let me ask you a question,Mi cha; if the police gets to know who you are and they question you; are you going to expo-se us? Will you sell us out?” He asked and my eyes fli-ckered.
Immediately, he sl@pped me and made me fall on the be-d.

I turned to look at him and he climbe-d ont©p of me and placed the burning cigarette on my n£¢k.
“Noooo!!!” I screamed in agony as I felt the cigarette burn my skin.
‘No! plea-se!” I whimpered and he threw the cigarette away.
“You really want to leave?” He asked as he pinned my hands to the be-d.
“Shouldn’t it be clear enough, Mi cha? You can never run away from me cause you’re mine!” He growled into my face as I winced.
I tried pushing him away, but he pinned me down and sl@pped me with the back of his palm, ma-king myl-ips bleed.
“plea-se, just st©p it” I whimpered and he punched my tummy ha-rd .
“Argh!!”, I gr-unted in pains.
Oh God!
He held my hair and turned me on the be-d, ma-king me lie on my tummy.
No; he can’t do this.
Not again.
“Josh plea-se, don’t.” I whimpered but he ignored and lifted my dress,taking my p*nt down as well.
“No…” I wept more.
He held me with one hand and used the other to Zi-p down his trou-ser.
Then, I felt him come into me from behind.
“No!!” I cried out as he started thrû-sting ha-rder into me – like he’s always done.
