Next day.
Mabel’s POV
I was sitting in the sitting room with Bella. Kelvin told me he was going out early and has left.
Trays of fruits were in front of me as I chatted with Bella about home.
I seriously want to speak to mom. I’ll have to ask Kelvin about that when he gets back.
I nee-d to as-sure her that am fine and that I’ll be back for her once I deliver.
We were still chatting when a knock c@m£ at the door.
A maid rushed to the door and opened it.
My gaze focused on the door to see who it was and soon Dennis stepped in to the sitting room followed by an elderly man.
I dropped the apple with me and stood up on my feet as they approached us.
“Hey” Dennis cooed now standing in front of me.
“Hey” I replied and took my eyes to the elderly man who has been starring at me.
“This is Kelvin’s father” Dennis said referring to the elderly man.
My eyes beamed as I looked at him.
“Oh my! I’m so sorry sir” I apologized and he smiled.
“How’re you and my grandchild doing?” He asked showing all his teeth.
“We’re fine sir” I cooed.
“plea-se have your sit sir” I added beckoning on him to sit and he sat followed by Dennison.
“Hi sir” Bella beamed waving at Kelvin’s father.
“Hi young lady” he smiled back.
I looked at him feeling nervous.
I wonder why he c@m£ tho and Kelvin is not even around.
I sat down slowly hoping everything goes well.
Bella stood up immediately.
“Lemme go get you some drinks” she smiled and left.
I noticed Dennison eyes on her the whole time.
“Um..sir, how are you?” I stuttered a bit.
I mean its really weird to me. I’m talking to Kelvin’s father personally.
I don’t even know what to say to him.
“I’m okay daughter in law” he replied and I st©pped and looked at him.
“Daughter in law?” I thought and waved it out immediately.
“I’m just here to see you dear so you don’t have to feel nervous about anything and oh I’ll soon be leaving don’t want Kelvin to meet me him” he explained.
“Um..but why sir?” I asked him.
“Do me a favour by not telling him I c@m£ here alright?” he asked calmly and I nodded.
“Of course sir” I smiled but wondered why.
“Um..Den” Kelvin’s father called.
“Sir” he replied.
“Can you go get what I bought for her in the car, I think I forget it” he said to Dennis and he left to get it.
“You’re really beautiful as they say girl. Thank you for coming into my son’s life, I was beginning to think he hates all woman, thanks for coming into his life and bearing his child” he thanked.
“Um..sir its no big deal but you’re welcome anyways” I smiled.
The old man doesn’t even know anything. He looks so innocent and calm unlike Kelvin.
“Um..I think I’ll get going now. plea-se take care of him for me together with my grandson alright?” He asked and I nodded.
“I will, sir” I replied holding back the urge to ask him how he knew I am pregnant with a son.
He stood up and Dennis arrived handing me a small bag which I collected.
“Thank you sir” I thanked as he took his leave.
“Hey, who was that?” He asked and I knew he was referring to Bella.
“Oh she? She’s my friend” I replied and immediately Bella showed up but got confused because the man was no longer there and Dennis was also standing.
“Um..where is he?” She asked offering Dennis one of the drinks she brou-ght and he took it and gulped down a little bit and gave her the glas-s cu-p back.
“Hi beauty” Kelvin said to her amazing me.
She blu-shed as usual and extended her hand to him for a handshake.
“Hey handsome” she blu-shed and he took her hand but didn’t let go.
They stood starring at their selves with their hands together for few seconds until I waved my hands at their faces.
“Hello, what is going on here?” I asked starring from Dennis to Bella and they unlocked their hands.
“I’ll come back some other time” he smiled at her and left.
Bella kept looking at him as he vanished throu-gh the door.
I think she likes him but wait doesn’t he have a fiancee? Why is he then behaving like that? I thought to myself.
“Oh my gosh. That guy is so dreamy babe, who is he? What is his name? Gosh we didn’t even exchange that?” She half yelled putting down the drinks she was carrying.
“You think? Is he that handsome?” I asked also sitting down.
“Yes, he is the most handsome creature ever, plea-se tell me about him but first does he have a girlfriend?” She beamed.
“Um….no” I lied.
“Oh my! I can’t believe it, how can someone so handsome not have a girl?” She asked herself blu-shing real ha-rd .
I just shook my head and took a drink from the drinks she brou-ght.
“plea-se what is his name?” She asked after a while.
“Dennis, his name is Dennison” I replied and she placed her palms on her che-st.
“He even has such handsome names. Gosh I can’t believe this” she smiled talking to herself now.
“You like him?” I asked her.
“Of course babe, can’t you see it? The way he held my hand felt so heavenly. You can tell that I was melting inside” she said describing it with her hands.
Smiles. Silly girl, I thought and shook my head.
The door opened with Kelvin walking in.
I stood up immediately recalling that his father asked not to tell him.
“Hi” I beamed smiling.
“Hey” he smiled back and gave me a quic-k k!ss.
“Did someone come here?” He asked starring at me.
I looked at Bella and gave her an eye that says she shouldn’t talk.
“No, no one” I smiled hoping he beliefs.
“Really?” He asked taking his eyes to the drink and the gift his father gave me which was still lying on the couch.
“Ye…yes” I stuttered.
“Why are you lying?” He asked now frowning as he walked over to the couch taking the nylon up.
“Why are you lying mab?” He repeated again but I couldn’t reply him but kept my gaze low.

Mabel’s POV
“Mabel” he called again and I raised my head to look at him.
“Why are you hiding the fact that my dad and Dennis visited? Did he ask you to?” He inquired and I shook my head positively.
“Next time don’t do that and even that time Dennis visited you in the hospital you didn’t tell me. Mabel plea-se don’t try lying to me again alright?” He said more calmly and I nodded.
“Alright, I nee-d you guys to dress up. Let’s just go shopping, I’ll personal esc-rt you around” he cooed and pinched my cheek softly.
“Really?” Bella asked standing up.
“Yea, I’ll be waiting” he replied sitting down.
“Alright then, we’ll be quic-k” I said leaving the sitting room with Ella.

We c@m£ down from the car and the glas-s door to the mall was opened for us by the guards.
“Wow! This place looks amazing” Bella beamed turning around as we walked in.
I noticed people st©pped what they were doing and started starring at us.
Kelvin was smoking h0t in his dress so why won’t people stare? I thought and chuckled.
We got to the ladies section and as Kelvin had said earlier he esc-rted me throu-gh out my shopping. He made me buy only the dress he wanted me to buy.
I’m not even sure one single free dress is amongst em.
Kelvin is actually planning on spoiling me I guess.
Fast forward.

Two weeks later.
I stood in front of the mirror as I stared at myself for the last time.
I chuckled when my eyes went to my tummy. Its not big but on a careful look you’ll know that I’m pregnant.
Kelvin’s father invited me to dinner and after much talking Kelvin allowed me.
I seriously don’t know why he dislikes his father but I heard there is a reason for that.
Since Dennison was gonna show up at the dinner Bella pleaded with so to allow her come with me.
“Babe, are you not done?” Bella asked coming into the room.
“Yea, I am” I replied and picked my purse which was on the table in front of me.
I got out with her and met Kelvin at the garage.
He smiled and walked to me.
“You’re looking extremely stunning” he complemented and I blu-shed.
“Thanks” I replied suddenly feeling shy.
“So, are you coming with us?” I asked him.
“Nay, just wanted to make sure everything is okay here. The boys will be taking you in case of anything” he said showing five of his boys to me.
“Um..alright, thanks” I replied k!ss!nghis cheek.
“Ouch..you just ruined your makeup” he tea-sed and I laughed.
“You are not serious kel” I cooed as I stepped closer to the opened car door.
“Make sure you come back early alright?” He asked concern written all over his face.
“Yes, yes” Bella answered instead and got in.
I giggled and also got in and the driver brou-ght the limo to life and drove out.

We arrived there and i saw a very big mansion.
“Wow! This place looks heavenly.”
“Is this Kelvin’s father house? Gosh they are so rich” Bella exclaimed also looking around.
The place was extremely beautiful can’t just use words to describe it.
If a house here on earth is this lovely I wonder how paradise will look like because this is just too much.
We got to the door of the house and it was opened to us by a maid and we got in.
The inner side of the house is more than beautiful. I wonder how much they put into building just this, I thought as we followed the maid to the dinning room.
We got to the dinning where Kelvin’s father and Dennis were alre-ady sitted.
They were both smiling but I realized Dennis was smiling too ha-rd just because of Bella.
But its still shocking tho, doesn’t he have a fiancee or did he end things with her? Or is he a wom-anizer? I thought and shook the thoughts aside.
He doesn’t look like one. He looks like a really gentleman.
“Welcome my dear” Kelvin’s said as I took a sit.
“Thank you sir”I smiled.
“Thanks for coming dear, you really don’t no how happy you’ve made me tonight” he explained happily.
“Its my plea-sure sir, thanks for inviting me to your lovely abode” I cooed.
“Hey Den” I greeted waving at him but he seems a bit lost and of course its because of Bella.
The dinning was alre-ady set with different types of dishes and I noticed they were mostly dishes recommended to me by the doctor.
I chuckled inwardly.
This man is something else. I don’t even like those foods recommended by the doctor because they aren’t sweet. I mostly love food with a lot of sweet but what to do? I’ll have to eat it.
“Let’s eat” Kelvin father said after a while and we all started eating.

Now I’m left alone with him – Kelvin’s father.
Dennis has taken Bella to the restroom when she asked to use it.
He can easily ask a maid to do that but I no he wanted some time with her so they left.
“Thanks again for everything you’ve done for my son Mabel” he began calling my name for the first time.
“But, you see am not in good terms with my son so I nee-d you to do something for me” he explained.
I adjusted on my sit properly to listen to him.
” You want me to do something?” I asked again.
“Yes, I want you to do me a little favour and its concerning Kelvin” he revealed.
