Tessa walked into her hu-ge room and slammed her body on the bed with a thud.
“Uff!” She inhaled de-eply, as her eyes locked with the white ceilings up there.
“Tessa??” A voice called from outside.
“Yes, Mr Ora?” Tessa answered.
“You didn’t drink and waste yourself today again, did you?” He asked, close to her door.
Tessa inhaled.
“I just took a little bit”
“And thats what you normally say. Please, give up drinking. Too much ain’t good for your health even if you are an immortal” The voice came again.
“You do complain and get worried a lot, do you… Anyways,, Goodnight, Mr Ora. I would love to have a good sleep now” Tessa said.
“Goodnight, Tessa” His voice was fading away.
Tessa turned her face over and closed her eyes.
She smiled now that Mr Ora was getting used to her.
He was the Head of the rescue team and her last wish to him was for him to adopt her as his daughter.
Left with no option and even frightened to death,, he answered and requested for the papers which he would sign in court to make Tessa his child.
He was a divorcee. His wife had flee away from the town down to another country entirely.
The reason she did so because of the abject poverty they suffered and lived in.
She couldn’t take it any longer and ran away. He had no child and no family.
Now, Mr Ora was stupendously rich. He had everything he nee-ded in his beck and call.
He got his wealth from the government and people when he rescued a little baby and its other from a burning house.
He was awarded and rewarded. That was how he suddenly became rich and even became the head of the rescue team.
The government always gifted him every month with loads of money for his good deeds and love.
Soon, of course when Tessa began to live with him. They became close and looked for one another.
Tessa thoughts of those things before she unexpectedly dozed off on the bed.
37 YEARS LATER, BEAUTIFUL SEOUL, KOREA**
“Kumbe!!(Cheers!!)” Vera gushed and clic-ked her gl@$$ against Tessa’s,, who chuckled strongly before gulping down its content.
“Why wasn’t soju founded out sooner” Tessa smiled, as she poured another gl@$$.
“It tastes so good” Vera said.
Tessa nodded, and made loud ‘Krrr’ sound.
“We are the only ones now,,, huh” Tessa sniffed, as she chu-gged the whole gl@$$.
“Mr Ora is late and… I’m alone again” She muttered.
“Don’t worry. I’m here for you” Vera snickered.
“As if! You started another new and ti-ght job remember” Tessa rolled her eyes.
Vera chuckled, and supported her jaw on her hand, while her elbow rested on the table. She looked really drunk.
“What of Connor?” Vera asked, shaking her head.
“Aish!” Tessa uttered, and stood up, staggering.
She hit her both hands loudly on the table and pointed at Vera.
“Hey!!! Why do you keep asking me of your brother whenever you are drunk. We both know he moved to the U.K!” She yelled.
“Ah,,,, Really? Sorry,,, I keep forgetting” Vera belched.
Tessa shook her head and sat down back.
“I’m not surprised. You do that every time you waste yourself”
“Tessa?”
“What? What??” Tessa opened her eyes wi-dely, drinking another gl@$$ of soju.
” About Bianca. What do you think??She’s a fake goddess,, Scam,, huh?” Vera muttered.
“I…don’t know” Tessa replied.
“I mean it has been 30…No,,, 30 + 7 Fu-cking years! 37 years!! Why aren’t they here? Or aren’t they born yet!! I Fu-cking want their love so that our immortality can be broken. I’m tired of watching my loved ones and my friends getting old and dying” Vera said.
Tessa sighed.
“I too,,, I really wanna human. Its quite frustrating to be an immortal”
Vera sniffed.
“Laura is now 55 years. Karl is not an immortal anymore thanks to Bianca who asked him to take a kizz from Laura. It broke the enchantment. Those two are one quite of a lovey dovey human couple”
“Clef and Tyga are also one quite R0m-ntic niggars! They keep disturbing my YouTube with their videos! Poof!!” Vera added.
Laura only giggled, and sipped her soju slowly.
“Hey,,, Tessa. Do you want us to become lesbians? I want love too!” Vera shouted, pouting.
“Are you crazy!” Tessa eyed her.
“Aiish! You just made my appetite for soju drain down now” She added.
Vera giggled, noisily in a drunken manner.
“By the way,,, Tessa?” Vera called.
Tessa only looked at her.
“Why did you choose Jake? Why didnt you choose any of your sisters that day?” Vera asked.
Tess blinked and looked down.
“I… couldn’t tell him thank you. I…couldn’t tell him I love you too. My sisters,,, I see them almost everyday. All I have to do is to take their pictures and look at it throu-ghout the whole day but Jake-
She paused and tears flowed down her eyes.
“Jake,,, I don’t have anything to make remember him. I didn’t even see my baby for last time before he died. Why won’t I choose him? Why??”
“It really breaks my heart whenever I remember he ended up dying cause he wanted to take a hit for Connor so that he would leave me. Its annoying”
Vera sighed, and consoled her.
“Its fine…”
Tessa sniffed, wiped her tears and looked at her.
“What of you? Why didn’t you choose your friends? Why Lucas?”
“Nora isn’t my friend anymore. She’s a bad egg. As for Mabel, I wouldn’t bear to look at her face if she came back”
“Besides, she was the one who turned Jake that way. It’s not her fault but still,,, I just couldn’t choose any of them. I have a lot of their pictures at home but None of Lucas,,, just like Jake”
Tessa sighed.
“And also,,, I choose Lucas cause we only kizzed once. We nee-d to kizz a lot before we both die as humans” Vera said and Tessa laughed.
“I’m still waiting for Jake anyways” She said.
“Lucas too” Vera added, and they both smiled, sipping soju.
“Tomorrow is gonna be hell. I ought to stop drinking, go home and have a nice sleep” Vera said, standing up.
“You are leaving early? Why is tomorrow hell?” Tessa asked.
“My boss is coming tomorrow to inspect our project and if I don’t do well,,, Its over. Geez,,, I’m scared. I hope he’s scary as others gosspied about”
“I’m gonna be seeing him tomorrow for the first time in my 3 months of work so I nee-d to leave a good impression. Wish me luck” Vera winked.
“Good luck, Vee!” Tessa waved with a smile.
“Thanks Tess” Vera said, and finally left.
Tessa chuckled, and drank the last bottle, paid off and left with her exotic black sports car.
THE NEXT MORNING,, CAMIL’S COMPANY**
“Sh!t,,, I’m Fu-cking late! Just take a look at the foolish lady that wanna p@$$ in her project to her boss and impress whoever he is!” Vera said, as she ran into the company.
The company was a big and a beautiful one. Its walls and floor sparkled and everywhere and everything in it are damn expensive.
“Oh no!” Vera yelped as she watched the elevator door closing.
“No! Please,,, wait!” She shouted, and quickly jumped in.
Unluckily for her, Her left foot hit the metal down the elevator so she slid in and landed on someone body.
Her face hit straight on the person’s che-st.
“I’m sorry” She muttered, and let out a nervous chuckle.
She tried to let her head go from the stranger’s che-st but her hair was stuck on his bu-tton.
“What to do!” She screeched.
“I’m so late. I will be definitely fired” She added.
“Can you let go?” She finally heard the stranger’s voice.
“I’m really sorry about the inconvenience but I can’t”
“Excuse me??”
“My hair,,, its stuck on your bu-tton..Please,,, can you just take off your bu-tton,,, first? Please,,, I’m Fu-cking late for a project work”
The stranger scoffed and pulled his bu-tton.
“Oww!” Vera mo-an ed.
Vera then tried to let go but she was still stuck.
“What to do?? I really really nee-d to go! Please,,, ehmm…Ahjussi (Older man),,, Can you help cut off your bu-tton?”
“What? Ahjussi? Do I look like an old man to you” He asked, angrily.
“I’m sorry but I actually didn’t see your face, so I thought-
“Forget it. What about my voice? Does it sound old?”
“Eh? No…but please, this isn’t that time to be exchanging words. Please,,, cut your bu-tton off”
“Are you crazy?? Why would I? Cut your hair instead! This bu-tton is pure gold! I can buy the whole company with just this bu-tton so I’m definitely-
“You talk too much!!” She screamed, and took off his jacktet.
The elevator opened instantly and she ran off with his jacket over her head and face.
“Hey!! Come back!! I’m gonna sue you!! Hey!!!” He shouted.
“I’m sorry” She said, and finally left.
Vera had successful cut off the bu-tton in the ladies restroom. She was holding the shirt as she walked down.
“Aiish! How does he expect me not to cut the bu-tton? My precious hair? Does he think he’s Lucas or what” She hissed and trashed it away.
“Hey,,, Vera!” She heard someone call.

She turned to see a coworker.
“Oh,,, Hi, Faye?” She waved.
Faye only smiled.
“Did you hear?” She whispered.
“Huh? Hear? Hear what?” Vera asked.
“The boss is here-
“Fu-ck! I gotta go! I’m late!!”
“Wait,,, Also,,, The boss jacket is missing”
“Eh??”
“Someone took it from him and ran off”
“What!!!”

“Come in” Vera heard the cold voice, after she knocked.
She shivered and entered the room after opening the door.
Her boss had canceled his schedule in looking at people’s project thanks to her handwork.
“I’m so dead” She muttered, clutching the jacket ti-ghtly.
“I’m surely gonna get fired!” She sighed.
He was facing the window with his arms crossed.
The instant he turned to her, Vera quickly looked down, making a very low bow.
She certainly couldn’t face him. She was scared and nervous.
“I’m sorry sir. I deserve to be fired. I know but please,,, forgive me..I promise never to attempt such. I also apologize for calling you an ahjussi and running off with your jacket. Please,,, Have mercy” She rushed her words while pa-nting.
She noticed he was now really close to her. She swallowed ha-rd, as his hand grabbed her chin and made her face look up at him.
Vera blinked once when her eyes fell on his face. The jacket and bu-tton fell down her hand.
They shared a hot gaze for about 10 minutes until Vera broke the silence with a stammer…
“Lu…Lu…cas?” She stammered helplessly with tears on her eyes.
He looked de-eply at her.
“I guess that was my old name” He whispered.
“Eh?” She was puzzled.
“Bianca made me come back. I met her in the realm of the dead. She reincarnated me. However, I own a new identity. I’m Lewis now. Lewis Parker. I’m not a twin either” He smiled.
The tears finally ran down Vera’s eyes.
“You…remember me?” She asked.
He smiled, and nodded.
“Why not? Bianca didn’t wipe my memories. She did pay a penalty for releasing me unexpectedly without permission. She lost 2 of her powers and titles cause of it”
He sighed and wiped her tears, and carried her around his body.
“Don’t cry. You ought to be smiling”
Vera nodded, and smiled.
“I’ve missed you so much. Searching far and near but I couldn’t find you. Now,, You are here with me… I’m so relieved, Vera” Lewis cooed.
Vera chuckled.
He care-ss her face and sat her down on his desk.
She interlocked her legs around his wa-ist immediately.
“I missed you so much,,, Ah… I’m sorry about your Jacket and your golden bu-tton. You can cut my hair off anytime you want,, so-
Lewis suddenly kizzed her li-p, gently which shut her up.
She hiccu-pp-ed nervously, and gawked at him.
“You talk too much” He smiled brightly, expo-sing his white set of teeth.
“We should be breaking your immortality and not talking” He said.
“Wait,,, the door…It isn’t closed. What if someone barges in”
“They wouldn’t dare” He snarled.
“Just in case” She rolled her eyes.
“Let me use my powers for the last time. Its been so long so let me flex them before your kizz takes it away” She said, and looked at the lock.
Her eyes flic-kered blue and the door locked immediately and she looked back at Lewis.
Entangling her hands around his broad shoulders, with his hands sitting on her thi-ghs,,, They beamed at each other faces with love.
“You can break it now” She whispered.
“My plea-sure” He smiled, and went to her li-ps.
He kizzed her li-ps softly for a while and the moment he felt the perfect pa-rting between Vera’s li-ps, He dived his tougue into her mouth, and Vera caught it, savoring onto it like it was her favorite meal.
His ne-ck slowly went a bit lower and he began to nimble on her lower li-p. Vera me out a slow and short mo-an when she fit his gentle bite on her li-p.
They heard knocks on the door but they ignored it. They didn’t stop. It was probably his secretary, Mr Finn.
After few minutes, They broke it and shared an intense stare, while their hot breaths fell on their faces.
“Oh,,, That was Fu-cking nice, Lucas and Le..wis” She smiled.
He laughed.
“You can call me whatever you wish. I’m still the same”
She smiled.
“kizz me again,,, and this time- She took his hand, which was still on her lap, into her black skirt.
Lewis wide-ned his eyes.
“Do it right. It’s been 37 years” She completed and let a mo-an when she felt his hands going down into her.
She went back to his li-ps, kizzing him affectionately while her hands care-ss his smooth fair cheeks.
