Nora stood up weakly. She had heard the loud growling and fast moving foot steps sounds, running rou-ghly.
“Huh? What’s going on?” She Gr0-ned.
She had a splitting headache and tou-ched her forehead.
She sighed de-eply and peeked throu-ghthe door.
“Oh my gosh!” She exclaimed as she watched lots and lots of zombies running past her door, trying to go down.
“What’s happening? Why are they leaving? What’s with the screams?” Nora thought.
Soe verywhere was free, not until another short zombie walked past the door slowly.
She looked again and no zombies was to be found. That place in pa-rticular was so quiet.
Nora opened the door fully and walked out.

“What? You wanna leave her then??” Tessa asked, furiously.
“Then, does she wanna sleep there! Does she wanna die?” Vera asked, curtly.
“Or maybe you are to blind to see the thousands of zombies coming to our side!” She added.
Tessa sighed and turned back.
“Renee? Where are you, please”

Renee looked around. The phone was still on her hand, and it was still making the loud scream.
“If I keep the phone down. They might damage it when they come in. I had better keep it where their hands won’t be able to reach” Renee thought.
She looked and saw the three zombies who were on the ground, cracking their bones. They wanted to get up. Seems their consciousness were wearing off.
She breathed in de-eply, looked around, and quickly jumped on the pillar. As soon as she did so, The zombies stood up on their feet.
They quickly ran to her.
“Aiish!” She muttered, and climbed the pillar the more.
The zombies wanted to go near the sound, plus the smell of fresh blood coming from Renee salivated them.
She was also hearing the others screaming her name, saying more zombies were coming.
Renee gr-unted and placed the phone onto the pillar roof. She looked down to see the zombies stretching their hands, waiting for her down.
The zombies decided to climb up but due to their normal lack of stamina, they couldn’t take any more climbs and they slide back down.
She looked at the three stubborn zombies and screamed at them. The scream brou-ght out high winds which flew them away to the other side.
It was her moment. She got down and ran as her legs could carry her.
But,, the coming zombies were near already. In front of her, a few distance away were about 25 zombies.
More and more were on their way.
“Dammit” She muttered, and slowly walked backwards. She looked back briefly and caught a glimpse of the zombies rising back on their feet.
“If I scream now, It will move them back and there won’t be enough time to gather the zombies back in. I nee-d another plan to escape-
“Renee!” Someone shouted.
She was about to look when a zombie grabbed her hand. She screamed, and its body flew away like feather due to its effect.
“Fu-ck! They will keep going out if I keep screaming. I must do something, fast!” She thought.
“Renee! Where are you!!” The voice was coming near.
Renee was about to talk but fear consumed her when she saw two zombies open its mouth wi-dely to bite her. They were close to her, facing her directly.
She wide-ned her eyes, when suddenly and miraculously, arrows flew into their heads, from the back.
Renee saw it protruding from the front.
“Gosh!” She gasped, when their blood splattered on her face.
She saw Kristen at the pillar side,, the moment the zombies fell dead.
Kristen shoot the others and the ones behind Renee.
“What have you been doing? We’ve been waiting! Let’s go! More are coming!” Kristen said, coming close to her.
She took Renee’s hand and they both ran out. They didn’t see the others close by. They were a bit far, hiding behind a wall, close to the school gate.
A lot of zombies were moving towards the duo, Renee and Kristen.
“Unnie!!” Doris And Tessa shouted, from where they hid.
“Renee!” Tessa added.
Kristen gave them a slight nod. She then looked at Renee.
“For now, don’t scream. If you do, the zombies might come closer to us instead of going into the yard” Kristen advised.
“I know” Renee nodded.
“Just stay close to me. I’ll keep us safe” Kristen said, balancing her arrow into her bow.
They walked slowly, and Kristen started shooting, bringing new arrows out from her bag.
A zombie suddenly ran madly towards them. It took Kristen by surprise and her arrow got past it.
It jumped and landed on Renee who had swiftly hu-gged Kristen ti-ghtly.
“R…Re…nee?” Kristen stuttered.
“No…No…You…shouldn’t do this to us, please! I beg of you!!” She screamed.
“No! Renee!!” Many shouted, in tears.
“Unnie… Thank you for coming. I…just wanted to save you too” Renee gasped, with blood coming from her mouth.
Seconds later, She fell.
“Please, run” She added.
Kristen took few steps away and looked at the zombies now feasting on Renee.
Kristen coughed, sobbing.
“I’m…sorry. I mean,,, you were our savior. How-
“Please, Unnie. Run” Renee interrupted her.
Kristen nodded, in tears, muttered a thank you, and began shooting aggressively while her legs ran fast, almost avoiding the ground.
She finally got to the others. They were crying so bad.
“Oh goodness… Unnie, We feel so bad. Renee,,, she- Tessa paused, and broke down in tears.
Kristen inhaled and hu-gged her.
They soon disengaged and watched the zombies running into the backyard from where the screaming phone was.
“12 more minutes and the rescue team will be here” Doris said.
Vera looked at Doris. She wondered why Doris wasn’t saying anything about her being infected. If the rescue team finally rescued them, Doris might infect the outsiders.
Vera sighed and shook her head.
“I wonder why I ain’t talking. I guess she is too cute and pitiful. Tsk tsk” She clic-ked her tongue in thoughts.
“What if we see the others?” Laura asked, softly.
“Others?” Lia looked at her.
“Like who?” She added.
Everyone was staring at Laura who had a moody and really sad expression on her face.
“What if we see Lucas, Mabel and others running in. How will we react?” She asked, painfully letting a tear run down her eyes.
Vera blinked her red eyes. She was about to cry but held it in. She sniffed and looked away.
“What else? We will just have to ignore them or do you wanna get bitten?” Vera asked, coldly.
Laura scoffed.
“As if it’s that easy”
“Well,,, sorry to say but it’s pretty really easy for me” Vera retorted.
“Let’s not argue. This isn’t the time” Clef said.
They all nodded.
“What the- Vera paused and swallowed ha-rd.
“What is it again?” Tessa asked, looking at her.
Everyone were also looking at Vera.
“Look” Vera whispered, and pointed a trembling finger to where the zombies were headed.
They all looked front to see the Mrs Morgan and Celia going into the yard.
Mrs Morgan had the helmet on her head. No zombie tou-ched both of them.
“What a stupid helmet” Karl scoffed.
“Hold on,,, what are they doing in there though?” He quickly asked.
“I…don’t know. What the hell is she up to?” Jake muttered with the others still watching.
Afterwards, Mrs Morgan came out with Celia and the zombies followed from behind.
“Those annoying- aiish!” Mrs Morgan complained, aloud
“Wait,,, why? Why…is the iPhone with her daughter??” Tessa asked.
“Throw that noisy motherFu-cker!” Mrs Morgan screamed, in rage at Celia who bowed in fear.
“No! Fu-ck!!” Clef half yelled.
Celia threw the iPhone away and it broke into pieces. The record stopped and the zombies became quiet.
“At last. Geez, They nearly made me regret turning them to zombies. Such noisy creatures” Mrs Morgan uttered.
She laughed evily.
“Okay, I guess I have the zombies here now at my command. Hmm,,, Sweet Blood! Where are you? Come on! Come to mama!!!! It time to deal with you! Don’t do this and just give up! I promise not to hurt anyone!!!”
Kristen narrowed her eyes.
“It’s her” She whispered.
“What?” Tessa muttered.
Kristen took an arrow and balanced it on her bow.
“I said its her! The girl… She was the mad zombie who killed mother”
Tessa inhaled and Doris gasped.
“Unnie” They whispered softly.
“Don’t stop me” Kristen said, with her shooting red gl@$$y eyes.
“Unnie! Please,,, No! Don’t!!” Tessa yelled, as she saw Kristen run out to face both mother and daughter.
Nora was watching from the school’s hu-ge door, where she stood.
No zombies were in, They were all outside,,, so as she thought….
