“Then,,, What of my sister? How will she- Laura paused and inhaled ha-rd.
“She’s so damn weak and Fu-cking sick” She added.
“She nee-ds to try to survive and to do that,,, She nee-ds to rise up. Everyone would have done the same. Your sister isn’t even complaining so why do I nee-d to hear this from you?” Tessa queried.
“Ahh,,, So,, Now… You think you are the leader cause you thought of a plan! Who knows who will die later! And do remember, That when someone dies,,, you are the cause. You ought to carry the cross!” Laura shouted,, pointing a finger at her.
Tessa sighed.
“Why should it be fault? You all better guard your life well cause I have no hand in it. Stay alive!” She blurted, and walked away.
“Laura… Enough. I’m fine. I can try” Lia said, and slowly stood up.
“Can you move down the window?” Laura asked, facing her worriedly.
Lia nodded with a pale face, which had a weak smile.
“You sure?” Laura asked.
“I am” Lia finally said.
Laura breathed heavily
“If you say so…”
“Let’s move then” Tessa said, as she took down the three curtains from the different windows.
She began to twist and bundle the curtains together, till it was long and firm.
“This will do” Tessa said, as she measured it by placing it on the floor, trying to check the height.
“Sure. It’s long enough” Kristen nodded.
“And ti-ght too” Clef added, nodding his head, while checking it out.
“So, who is gonna go first?” Renee asked.
Everyone exchanged meaningful stares with each other.
“I’ll go first” Kristen volunteered.
“You will be fine, right?” Tessa asked.
Kristen nodded with a smile.
“When, I get down,,, I’ll keep the zombies away,, with my bow and arrow just in case”
Tessa smiled as well.
“So, Tessa? What’s the plan again?” Renee asked.
“Are you scared about it?” Tessa asked.
“Who? Me? No…Not… Not at all. Geez,,, Why should I be?” Renee scoffed, stylishly.
“Okay, Uhmm…So,, You’ll take this iPhone and place it on record at the laser bulb free yard. Then, you scream like a real banshee you are,, on the voice record for few seconds”
“Afterwards, You pla-y the record and keep it down. Flee away from the yard and meet us right outside. Immediately, the zombies hear the loud screaming voice coming from the phone. They will all run into the yard”
“They will gather around the phone and while the ‘screams’ are keeping them busy, the helicopter will fly in and we will enter fast. When we do, the rescue team will throw down the bomb which we blow the school and the zombies down”
“Including the witch and her daughter” Renee chuckled.
“Yeah. Thanks to you,,, We will all escape. Your powers paid off seriously” Tessa beamed.
Renee nodded.
“Those zombies are innocent though. It’s not really their fault they changed to zombies” Vera said.
“Its not. But we have no cure for it” Tessa said.
“Yeah. We have no cure so all the zombies ought to be terminated” Vera chuckled, and looked at Doris.
Vera took her eyes away.
“Tessa? You’ve called the rescue team that we are ready to move?” Kristen asked, balancing the tied-up curtains downwards from the window rail where it was knotted.
Tessa nodded.
“I asked them to give us just 30 minutes”
“30 minutes? Isn’t it too much?” Kristen asked.
“15 minutes would have been better” She added.
“I know right but I just thought the zombies which will be trying to move into the yard will slow us down. You don’t know how many they are” Tessa said.
“Yes, I can see them for here. They are up to a million” Kristen gasped, watching the field,, throu-ghthe window.
“I’m going down now” Kristen said, and held the curtain firmly.
Soon, she went out, and began to move down. The others moved to the window watching.
“Unnie! Watch out!” Tessa warned, after seeing two zombies moving to where Kristen was headed.
They were waiting for her to land before bi-ting her.
“Fu-ck” Kristen muttered, and froze right there.
“You know what?? Just… just come back up. Let’s take the barricade. I think taking the window is risky” Doris was sobbing.
“I’m fine” Kristen swallowed ha-rd.
“The barricade is no different from this”
“You are right but- Unnie!!! Watch your feet, pleaseeee! Don’t dare put down down!” Doris begged, with a loud voice since the two zombies were now stretching their hands to grab her feet.
“Hold on” Lia came forward.
She brou-ght out her pistol and targeted it towards Kristen.
“Wait,,, Wha…at if I get sh…shot?” Kristen stammered, in fear.
“You won’t. Can you tilt your body a bit to the left?” Lia said, sternly.
“Okay,,, Okay,,, Uhm… Hold on. Here, Here,,, I go… Okay!” Kristen said.
Lia sighed, and made two shots.
They all saw the two zombies fall down flat.
“Are they dead?” Kristen couldn’t look down.
“Yeah” Laura responded.
“You sure?” Tessa asked.
“Do zombies pretend like they are dead?” Lia scoffed, weakly.
Tessa sighed, and showed Kristen a thumbs up.
“They are out” She said.
Kristen heaved, and finally went down.
“Doris,,, You go” Tessa said.
Doris nodded, and slowly moved down holding the rope like her life depended on it.
Kristen helped in taking down the zombies, who were coming close.
Vera moved afterwards but she was pretty fast. Bianca followed, Then Laura.
“Unnie. Come down now” Laura shouted, cu-pping her palms close to her mouth.
“Yes,,, you should” Tessa nodded.
Lia sighed, and went down slowly. Laura caught her.
“You okay?” Laura asked.
Forcing a smile, Lia nodded.
Soon, Clef went down.
“One of you should go before me” Tessa said.
Connor and Jake exchanged ha-rd glares and scoffed.
“You go first!” They told each other.
Tessa sighed, and rolled her eyes.
“Who am I kidding?” She scoffed, and went down, climbing downwards briskly.
“What?” The boys muttered in surprise,, seeing the way she had left them suddenly and quickly.
“You coming or what!” Tessa yelled at them, after her safe landing.
“Aiish” The boys muttered.

Lia struggled to walk while Kristen and Clef helped in taking the zombies down with their weapons.
They were ending to the backyard.
Laura saw Lia during her struggle and went to her. She held her close.
“You will be fine” Laura whispered and Lia nodded.
They stopped at the two pillar which stood left and right with a few distance away from each other. The pillars were almost close to each other.
They were the first thing you would see before entering throu-gh, and then,,, the backyard will come into view.
“Renee??” Tessa inhaled ha-rd.
“Yeah?” Renee whispered.
“You ready?” Tessa asked.
Renee breathed de-eply.
“I was born ready”
“Hurry. Few zombies are on their way” Kristen said, while continuously shooting her arrows.
Clef was also shooting bullets from his sniper rifle.
Tessa inhaled again before handing the iPhone which Renee took, slowly trying to hiding her trembling hand.
“We will make sure no zombies come in” Tessa said.
“And you know exactly what to do when you come across one in there” Connor added.
Renee nodded.
“You know what to do when done?” Jake asked.
“Yeah,,, I run” Renee answered.
Jake nodded.
“Go in. We’ll keep watch”
Renee nodded, and went in. She saw just three zombies. She quickly pressed the start icon on the recording bu-tton and screamed so loud.
“Fu-ck! My ears!!” Jake Gr0-ned, and closed his both ears. Everyone did the same.
Despite that, the voice was still Fu-cking loud. Everywhere vibr@ted. Their ears even bled a little.
Renee stopped, and also stopped the recording. She saw the zombies had already flew away and landed rou-ghly on the ground due to the effect of her loud scream.
They seemed quite unconscious, as they laid on the sandy ground.

“Renee! Out now! pla-y the recording and run out now!!! Please! They are all coming!!” Tessa yelled.
Everyone looked at the front and saw thousands of zombies rushing towards them. The ground was shaking vehemently.
“Renee!!!” Doris screamed.
“Fu-ck it” Lia muttered.
“Everyone, We really nee-d to get out of here and quick!! Now!!!” Kristen shouted.
Soon, Renee pla-yed the recording by touching the pla-y icon on the IPhone screen with her vibr@ting finger.
“I ain’t leaving without Renee!” Tessa said. firmly breathing ha-rd.
“They are coming and Renee isn’t listening! What do you want us to do!!” Laura screamed, angrily.
Tessa glared at her.
“We Fight. We Save Her”
“You. Are. Insane!” Vera blurted, in rage.
