“Really? An idea!!” Jake exclaimed.
“Yeah” Tessa smiled.
“As usual. That’s my girlfriend for you” Jake said and made a loud sma-ck with his tongue, and Tessa chuckled.
“Hmm…Hmm” Kristen cleared her throat dramatically.
Tessa looked at her and Kristen raised her right eye brow up.
“So, the plan?” Kristen shrugged her shoulders.
Tessa looked around and saw Vera still on the window, with her eyes down.
“Vera?” Tessa called.
“We nee-d you here…” She added.
“I can hear you from here” Vera sniffed.
Connor sighed, and walked to her. He bent his ne-ck and saw tears in her eyes.
“Hey…Hey…It’s alright. I’m here” He whispered, wiping it off with his big thumb.
Vera closed her eyes ti-ghtly and held his thumb, quickly.
“Promise me you won’t die” She quivered.
“I promise, I won’t” He replied.
“And thats what you all say..I miss him so much…Lucas,,, I just-
“Vera, breathe…just breathe” Connor whispered.
Vera did so and her tears ran down. She wiped it away, and opened her eyes.
“You okay?” He asked.
Vera swallowed.
“I guess”
“Go. We are all waiting for you” He said.
Vera nodded, and walked away. When she did, Connor looked down the window, narrowed his eyes, and inspected for some minutes before he finally joined the rest.

“Firstly, Unnie. I nee-d your phone” Tessa said.
“My phone? Is using a phone pa-rt of the plan?” Kristen asked.
Tessa nodded.
“What to do? I forgot my phone at the cartel. Clef also left his, I guess. And we all lost Lia’s phone”
“Fu-ck” Tessa grumbled.
“You…really really nee-d a phone for us to get out of here?” Laura asked, quietly.
“Yeah” Tessa whispered.
Laura swallowed ha-rd, and looked down. She lic-ked her dry li-ps, and drew out the IPhone from her un-derwear.
She walked to Tessa and placed it on her hand.
“Huh? How did you get this?” Tessa asked, and everyone looked at Laura in surprise.
“You gonna use it or not?” Laura asked, with a glare.
“Sure,,, Sure,,, I will. Thank you” Tessa smiled.
Laura strolled her hair down with her palm and walked back to her space.
“I guess the phone is not yours. You don’t use iPhone” Doris told Laura but she only looked away.
“Hmm…Laura?” Tessa called.
Laura looked at her.
“I think the phone you gave me uses it p@$$word. Seems it’ll be quite ha-rd to-
“77899” Laura said.
“Huh?”
“You said you wanted the p@$$word?”
Everyone looked at Laura again though she seemed not to care.
“Uh….Oh…Yeah. Yeah. 7.7.8.9.9….Its unlocked!” Tessa smiled.
“So, what the first thing now? We have a phone” Jake asked.
“Hold on. Doris?” Tessa called.
“Yes?” She replied.
“Here,,, your bag”
“It’s okay. You can keep it” Doris smiled.
Tessa nodded.
‘Hmm,,, Okay?”
Vera looked at Doris and her eyes went to her leg. She saw the sock she was tying on her leg, and a small red vein was popping away from it.
Vera looked thorou-ghly and gasped lowly.
“The Fu-ck” She whispered.

“So, Firstly,,, We really nee-d to leave here” Tessa said.
“Leave here? Hello? We planned to take the helmet from Mrs Morgan first… Isn’t that better??” Laura said.
“Its not as easy as you think. Her office is still miles away. We just nee-d to forget about that if we all want to remain alive and well,,, and leave here,,, fast”
“Don’t tell me you are thinking of going to that zombie battle field!” Laura half yelled.
“Yes. We are going to the school field” Tessa nodded.
“What!!” Everyone shouted.
“Hey? Do you have a death wish?? Are you crazy! You could get us all killed there at that sp-ot! The field is way worst. The zombies there are uncountable!” Vera shouted.
“Ssshhh” Tessa warned.
“What did you just sa-
“Ssshhh!”
“Are you asking me to keep shut right n-
“Sshh!! Stop screaming. The zombies hate noisy environment” Tessa winked.
“Wh…at?” Vera stammered.
“Yeah,,, Tessa is right. I told her after noticing that” Kristen said.
Vera glanced at Doris and swallowed ha-rd. She looked at Tessa with a glare.
“Whatever” She whispered so low.
“I can’t hear you” Tessa giggled, with mockery in her voice.
Vera sque-ezed her face.
“Aiish. Fu-ck you” She whispered, and went farther from them.
“So annoying. Does she even know why that zombie left Doris? She’s a zombie… she’s turning to one” She sighed.
“So, How do we get to the field? You said you had an idea” Connor told Tessa, who nodded.
“We will be nee-ding three things” Tessa showed three of her fingers.
“What are those?” Renee asked.
“A phone, The backyard without the bulb,, and you” Tessa winked.
“What? Me?” Renee was surprised.
“Yeah” Tessa nodded.
“Do continue. I love where you are heading” Connor smiled.
Tessa smiled at him too.
“We are going to leave this room to achieve all th-
“And how are we gonna do that? Oh,, I guess the boys are gonna build another barricade?” Vera rolled her eyes.
“I guess” Tessa sighed.
“And thats how I got scratched. Because of the barricade” Doris thought, sadly.
“Huh…Tessa?” Doris called.
“Yes??” Tessa answered.
“Uhmm…I have a suggestion”
“Good. Let’s hear it” Tessa smiled.
“While building the barricade. Please,,, this time,,, let’s ensure the beneath isn’t exp-osed like the last one” Doris said.
“Good idea” Tessa smiled.
“Oh,,, so,,, that’s how she got the scratched. Oh goodness, I wonder who will change into a zombie next after she suddenly changes right here” Vera shook her head.
“So, we building a barricade now?” Jake asked.
“Wait, I have another suggestion” Connor said, smartly.
“Let’s hear it then” Jake folded his arms, looking at him.
Connor looked back at him, scoffed, and turned his eyes to Tessa with a smiling face. Jake only scoffed.
“So,,, what’s the suggestion?” Tessa asked.
Connor walked to her slowly, and suddenly carried her on his arms, in a princess manner.
“Wh…at are… yyouu doo…ing?” She stammered, nervously.
“Guy! The Fu-ck!” Jake yelled, and held his shirt ti-ghtly, from behind.
Connor looked back and his eyes met with an angry bird like Jake.
“Keep. The. Girl. Back. Down. NOW!” Jake yelled.
“I’m not done yet. Please, excuse me” Connor said, and shook Jake’s hand off his shirt.
Jake snarled, and followed him, watching him closely.
“Tell me,,, Connor. www…hat…are youuu trrryying to do?” Tessa couldn’t stop stammering.
Connor went to the window, and took her body, outside,,, throu-ghthe window.
She was now entirely out of the room and was hanging in mid air, outside.
“What are you doing, Connor!!” Jake yelled, growling.
“Hey!!! Have you gone pyscho!” Kristen thun-dered.
“Are you trying to get my sister killed!” Doris roared.
“Bring me back up now!!! Aiishhh!!!” Tessa screamed, trembling in fear.
Connor quickly brou-ght her in and dropped her down. They looked at each other for a while.
Connor saw her red eyes. It was we-t. She was shaking. Tessa was really scared, no doubt.
“How dare you!” Tessa shouted, and landed a hot and loud slap across his cheek.
His moved to the left and developed instant redness.
Connor sighed and looked at her
“What was that? What kind of stunt were you trying to pull back there! Were you trying to get me killed!” She shouted, and tears ran down her eyes.
“Move!” She added, and hit her shoulder on his body, before walking past him.
“I guess we won’t be taking the window after all” Tessa heard him calmly say.
She slowly turned.
“What?”
Connor turned to face her.
“You are afraid of heights so I guess we won’t be taking the window. I wanted to suggest we go via the window. It quite better cause we won’t meet a lot of zombies on the way,,, unlike the barricade”
Tessa scoffed.
“And you decided to have me killed! Its so annoying! Its not that I’m scared but you caught me off guard. Never ever do that on me next time. Its a warning” She wide-ned her eyes, hissed, and walked to a desk.
She sat down on it, touch her che-st, and inhaled de-eply. She was so scared. Her thumping heart could give justice to that.
“Oh goodness” She Mo-aned, and kept her head down on the desk. She began to cry.
“I think she nee-ds a time alone. Let her cool off” Kristen sighed, and walked to another side.
Everyone separated immediately.
Jake was about moving to her but Connor held him.
“You heard the sister. Tessa nee-ds to cool off” Connor said, calmly.
Jake clenched his fist ti-ghtly and gritted his eye ha-rd. He was Fu-cking furious judging from his red and gl@$$y eyes.
“You….@$$h*le!!!” Jake roared, and punched Connor heavily.
He pushed Connor to the ground, stayed on top on him and continued throwing heavy punches at him.
Karl and Clef quickly pulled Jake up to prevent him from wounding Connor.
Everyone stood up. Tessa just raised her head, and watched without doing anything. She kept sniffing.
Jake struggled to break free but Karl and Clef weren’t budging.
“Oops” Vera chuckled, as they saw Connor stand up.
He gr-unted, and tou-ched his li-p. He looked at his hand and saw blood. His face had bruises and cut.
Connor walked close to Jake who was breathing heavily, while un-der Karl and Clef’s hold.
“MotherFu-cker!” Jake spat.
“Keep away from my woman” He warned, this time, whispering.
Connor chuckled, and brou-ght his wounded face close to Jake.
“And is there a reason why I should do that?” He asked, whispering.
“Wh…at?” Jake stuttered, shaking his head.
“I can’t…” Connor said.
“Huh!!”
“Besides, I said I won’t leave her till you pay me back”
“What do you mean?”
“I’ve said this before or did you suddenly forget? Ah,,, you aren’t a vampire for now anymore so it i suppose it can happen..That why it pays to be smart naturally” Connor winked.
“What are you trying to say!” Jake gr-unted, lowly, still pa-nting.
Connor smiled.
“Pay me back for taking the hit. Or have you really forgotten, how you nearly su-ck ed your woman’s blood, and I used my hand as cover. You bit me in the process-
“Aiish!!” Jake yelled, and broke from the ti-ght grip.
He pounced on Connor again but this time, Connor didn’t give him any chance. He pulled Jake down, and placed heavy punches on his face.
Tessa finally got on her feet.
She scoffed aloud and they all looked at her. She walked to the window, and p@$$ed the fighting boys
“Behaving like kids won’t get us anywhere. Let’s get on with the plan. We are moving throu-ghthe window” Tessa said, and looked down.
Of course, Everyome were very surprised.
