Jake’s eyes turned red immediately he smelt the sweet blood. He salivated and quickly swallowed it.
Vera also smelt it. Her eyes turned light blue. She quickly stood up. Nora wasn’t exceptional. Her eyes turned orange
“fu-ck” Karl gr-unted.
“I’m not a fan of blood so I had better substain myself” He muttered.
Mason who was beside him stared at him, confusedly.
“What’s the problem?” He asked.
“I smell sweet blood” Karl replied.
“Sweet what?” He was still confused.
“I’m talking about Tessa,, the new girl”
“Yes? What happened to her”
“Her blood. Its so good” Karl said, softly and looked at him.
“fu-ck, Karl” Mason chuckled.
“What? What’s it?” Karl asked.
“Your eyes. It turned gray. I guess you are finally hungry for some blood” Mason wi-nked.
Karl wi-dened his eyes and quickly kept his head low on the desk.
“fu-ck!! no” He muttered.
Connor’s nose twitched. He was smelling the sweetest blood ever.
“What’s is- He paused after feeling his red colored eyes blink.
He saw Jake, Vera and Nora run out.
“Where are they off to?” He thought and followed then.
Mason noticed it. He gr-unted and stood up.
“Hey,,Karl. I’ll be right back” He tapped his back and ran out.
Karl couldn’t take his head up.
“Where are you going to now? Aiish! So annoying”

“It’s coming from here” Jake said and entered the toilet.
He entered and others followed.
Thankfully, nob©dy was in so they quickly shut the door.
Their eyes brightened when they saw the droplets of blood, accompanied with her hair pin.
“It’s Tessa’s” Nora said, swallowing ha-rd.
“Gosh. I really wanna taste it” Vera said.
“Keep shut and suppress your thirst for blood” Connor said.
Jake bent down and smelt the floor. His eyes wi-dened and he quickly stood up.
“It’s the face shifter” He told them.
“What!” They all shouted, except calm Connor.
“I think she took them” Jake said.
“Them? Isn’t it only? What do you mean by them??” Vera asked, shaking alre-ady, praying it isn’t who she thinks it is.
“…Tessa and Mabel”
Vera breathed heavily and her light blue eyes went off.
Mason who was about going out due to not being concerned quickly turned around when he heard Jake say Mabel.
“What… What did you just say?” He asked, coming closer to Jake.
“Yeah. You heard me right. She took them”
“So, what are we gonna do now!” Vera asked.
“Mason… is gonna teleport us there so that we can save them”
“No” Mason shook his head.
“What do you mean No! You want Mabel killed?” Vera held his collar ti-ght.
“I mean No. I can’t teleport y’all. I can only teleport two people” He said.
“What? Why?” Nora asked.
“I’m…quite sick and my powers aren’t strong so-
“Then,, two it shall be. Who’s coming with me?” Jake asked.
“Me!” Vera and Connor said, in unison.
They exchanged glances.
“Why you? Mabel is my friend! I ought to be there” Vera snapped.
Connor sighed and looked at Jake.
“Let me come with you” He said, calmly.
“Jake. Don’t let him. What can a hybrid do!” Vera said.
“Vera,, just stay back. I think Connor is quite smart-
“Aiish!” Vera screamed and walked out.
Nora shook her head and left.
“So, guys… you re-ady?” Mason asked.
Jake and Connor nodded.
“Hold my hands” He told them.
They obeyed and he started saying his magical words and vhomm… they disappeared.

“Oww” Mason gro-an ed.
He opened his eyes and to-uched his head before standing from the rocky ground. He saw Jake and Connor also standing.
“That wasn’t a safe landing” Jake uttered.
He looked around and saw they were in a open cave close to a water fall. The cave was high up in a cliff. He walked to the cliff and shivered.
“fu-ck. So scary” He muttered.
Connor was also there looking at it but he seemed fearless, unlike Jake.
“Never thought a vampire was scared of a small cliff like this” Connor said.
“Watch your mouth” Jake hissed.
“There isn’t time to fight. Let’s all find her,,, I mean them” Mason blinked.
“I’m here” They heard the face shifter’s voice say with a mockery voice.
They quickly looked and saw her by the other side. They saw Tessa and Mabel with her slee-ping.
“What did you do to them?” Jake yelled.
“The ride back here made a little dizzy and… tipsy” She chuckled.
“You… let me see your face! So that I can hit real ha-rd!” Connor said.
“She doesn’t have a face” Mason said.
“What?” Connor asked, shockingly.
“Yup. She’s faceless so she covers it with a mask” Jake said.
“What’s her powers actually?” Connor asked.
“There is absolutely nothing you know about the supernatural realm, huh?… Well, she takes the face of whom you love the most and uses it against you… happy now?” Jake said.
“Oh” Connor muttered and looked away.
“rele-ase them now… or I might do my worst” Mason roared.
“Not so fast,, petty lion. We nee-d them to wake up first. You don’t want them catching the fun… Oh spoiler,, If you cross that boundary to reach to my side,, this whole cave will crash down and we will all die” She laughed.
“fu-ck!!” Connor yelled and ran to her, not minding her chit chats.
Jake quickly pu-lled him down when the cave trembled and rocks fell down.
“You crazy?… You want us dead?” Jake yelled at him.
“Tessa. We nee-d to save her” Connor gnashed his teeth, in vexation.
“I fu-cking wanna save her too but dead people can’t save each other. I thought you were smart… You had better pu-ll yourself together!”
Mason only looked on, without muttering a word.
“Mabel,,, plea-se” He whispered.

The two girls opened their eyes and the boys screamed, joyously.
“At last” They sighed in relief.
The face shifter smiled and crossed the boundary… well,, nothing happened. She was with the boys now.
“I wanted the girls to watch this,, boys” She giggled.
The boys thought it was an opportunity to strike so they all jumped in order to take her down,, however the cave began to crumble.
“Stop!” Jake yelled and they went down.
“What’s happening?” He asked, with reddish eyes.
“Well,, boys,, you simply didn’t follow the rules. You see,, this cave is not gonna take it likely with you all of you do something nasty… If you wanna try,, try,, but you aren’t leaving till we have some fun” She laughed.
“What fun!” Connor growled.
“I’m gonna take y’all powers and destruct y’all” She replied.
Mason chuckled.
“And we are gonna watch you do that?”
“Oh no. I made the game fair. We are gonna have a swords fight. If you win,, you all leave without any more talks. But if I win,, I’ll destroy you and take your powers!”
“No big deal. Sounds fun” Jake smi-rked.
“But,,, Jake… Who do you love the most?” She asked in whisper, and brou-ght her masked face really close to his face.
School’s Roof**
“They are so annoying!” Vera stomped her feet.
Nora sighed.
“We just nee-d to have good faith. They are gonna be alright and return safe” She said.
Vera sighed and ru-bb£d her forehead. She took out a pack of cigarette and looked at Nora.
“Care for a smoke?” She asked.
Nora smiled and shook her head.
“Gave up smoking twenty years ago”
“I too gave up smoking but not seeing Mabel worries me. Stole this from my dad’s shelf. Thought he even quit” She smiled, and kept it in between her li-ps.
She was about lightening it up with her lighter when her vampire ears picked up footstep sounds.
She gr-abb£d Nora and they ran to somewhere hidden at a corner.
They took their eyes in front to see Mrs Morgan they principal making a phone call.
? Clyde?… Why aren’t you bringing in any positive result!
? Don’t worry, Ma’am. In no time,, We are gonna find her. We’ve se-nt a supernatural being to get a vampire for us. Today is even the last day him. Only then,, will the vampire brou-ght to us be able to help in finding the… unique blood.

She paused when she saw a lighter rolling towards her.
“How did this- She swallowed ha-rd.
“Someone is watching me. The person heard my conversation” She thought.
She picked the lighter and slowly walked towards where Nora and Vera hid.
“fu-ck…No,, plea-se” Vera muttered while Nora closed her eyes ti-ghtly.
