And the Armies we’re the one staring at me.

I raise my head again and our eyes met.

We were coming out of the principal’s office when a girl bu-mped into me.
I really want to scold her but her words held me back.
“Why is there so many bad luck in Korea” she said
She looked up and was shocked to see me.
“Are you a new student? I asked her.
“Yes, I am” she replied still bowing down.
“Stand straight ” I said to her.
She looked up bit still her face are not directed to mine.
“Jun, my legs are aching me” Suger the last born said.
You can’t blame him, he was my favorite I can’t refuse him.
“See me in my office ” I said to her before walking away.
I want to know the reason why she said that.

Oh my , did I just talked with THE ARMIES?
The leader even talk to me.
Am I dreaming? Taylor wake up.
Aah, this is confusing.
I went into the principal’s office and submit my forms.
He gave me a map to find my clas-s.
I searched and searched, the school is just too big, I continuously find myself where have been before.
Agboola?
A girl pas-s by and I rush to her.
“Excuse me” I said running to meet her.
“Can you plea-se show me the clas-s draw in this map? I asked
She took me to a clas-s before st©pping at the entrance.
“Here it is, it’s my clas-s too and be careful the owner of this school also stays in this clas-s
sometimes ” she said before walking away.
Huh?
Staying in the same clas-s with those idols, this will be ha-rd for me.
I went inside the clas-s and all eyes were on me.
I bowed my head in a greeting manner.
I scanned around the clas-s and found an empty seat at the middle of the clas-s.
I went and sat on it.
A teacher c@m£ inside the clas-s and saw me.
“Seems like we have a new face among us” she said
“Come out and introduce yourself ” she said.
I stood up from my seat and walk quietly to where the teacher is.
“Hi, my name is Taylor Kim, half American and half Korean, schooled at beacon hills high school
California “I said.
“Oh she c@m£ from America? A student asked.
“Okay ms Kim, welcome to Juner high”she said
“Thank you, plea-se I love to be addressed as Ty” I said before walk-in back to my seat.
Few minutes later, I remembered that the armies leader said I should meet him.
I asked for his office and I was directed there.
I went to the office and stood in front of it, I don’t know how to open the glas-s door.
Suddenly the door opened by itself.
I went in and stood in front of him.
Truth be told he is so handsome, but my hatred for boys didn’t allowed me to see that.
“Tell me about yourself “he said.
“Huh, me? I asked
“You know me don’t you? He asked
“I do” I said

None of the students should know that i’m a mother of one.
“Welcome to juner high ” he said handing me a PC l@pt©p.
“Thank you” I said before walking back to the clas-s.
I entered the clas-s and sat on my seat.
Then some girls about four of them c@m£ to me.
“Hey, give your respect ” the h0ttest of them said.
The whole clas-s turned there attention on me.
O my, miso have noticed her
She won’t last here
Another scene to witness after a long time The students keep saying all sort of ru-bbish.
“Miso let her be” the girl I met earlier said coming nearer.
“What nons-en-se, look at this commoner talking when miso is” the miso of a girl said.
“Who do you think you are” I asked her
“The beauty of this school ” she said proudly
I looked at her and shake my head.
“You are too ugly to be the queen ” I said and the clas-s roar in laughter.
“Gboo ra gu? She asked
“If you don’t mind, i’m busy can you shift”I asked.
She hurriedly left my seat, not after glaring at me.
The school time ends and I went home.
I picked up Ava from school and help her with her studies.
“Mom, I saw daddy today”she said in a funny tone.
“Daddy? I asked
“Yes, he c@m£ to pick another girl from school and left me there” she said with a sad voice
“Don’t worry baby, your daddy is not around for now, when he comes back he will surely pick you
everyday from school”I said convincingly.
“What is daddy name “she asked taking me unaware.

“What’s dad name? She asked as I was so shocked to answer her.
“Baby, why are you asking? You nee-d some rest okay, sleep and I will buy you caramel ” I said
forcing myself to smile.
How can she be so smart?
Avala will soon make an issue out of this when she come of age.
I nee-d to find a solution to this.
If only I had been myself at beacon hills, if only my mouth is kept shut.
I won’t be in this condition.
Mummy I can’t sleep, come sing me a lullaby ” Ava said
“Okay honey, which one do you want? I asked
“Come daddy daddy ” she said
Every word coming out of my daughter’s mouth is now about daddy.
I don’t know what triggered her into asking of her father like this.
“Mom, can you tell me little about daddy? I want to tell my friends too” she said
“Daddy is a business man, he is nice, you look more like him honey” I said cu-pping up her face.
“Really mom, who is more prettier then ” she asked smiling
“You of course, my angel is so beautiful “I said tickling her.
“Oh mom, it tickles “she said laughing ha-rd .
“Okay honey, go to sleep now”I said and went out of the room.

Taylor Kim, the sadness in her eyes is so clear.
What could have happened to her in the past.
She looks sad and frustrated.
I don’t know why the thought of that girl keeps pla-ying in my head.
I went outside the balcony.
I have a friend teaching there in beacon hills, I nee-d to know why she left America for Korea.
“Hi Jay “I greeted.
“Jun, it has been long” he said
“Yea, I nee-d your help”I said.
“Okay”
“I have a new student in my school and she’s from america, your former student can you tell me more about her? I asked
“What’s her name? Jay asked
“Taylor Kim “I said
“Hyung, let’s go to club” Suger said interrupting my call.
“Suger, wait a little bit huh” I said
“I want to go now” he said
“Jay, I will call you back” I said disconnecting the call.

Suger and his childish behavior.
“Can we leave it till tomorrow? I asked him.
“No, I want to go now” he said whining.
I made to work suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my heart.
“Wre gi de(what is it) ” suger asked.
My mouth was so heavy for me to talk.
“Cancel it for tonight suger” I said holding my che-st.
It’s five years alre-ady.
This sickness is back.
I went back to my room and call doctor Lee.
“It’s five years alre-ady Jun, this is the medium my medicines can hold, you nee-d treatments Jun”
doctor Lee said.
“I don’t want to die”
“Then we nee-d to find the person ” doctor Lee said
I don’t want to hear anymore.
I will soon die anyways.

Getting to school the next day, I tried to concentrate on what’s going on but no, my mind keep drifting to the question Avala asked me last night.
Who is asking her this questions?
For a girl of her age that, it means someone asked her about it before.
I nee-d to be careful, for the mean time I will stay here in Korea I don’t want the students to know that I’m a mother.
Just then ‘the armies’ c@m£ inside the clas-s.
Everywhere bec@m£ silent since suger is around.
Jun sat besides me, he doesn’t look good.
is he sick?
It’s weird I’m concerned about him.
I just care because he’s the owner of this school, if anything happens to him this school is gone too.
He doesn’t even have a child yet.
He keeps holding his che-st on intervals.
He is very sick, but which sickness is that?
I couldn’t concentrate, the thought of Jun filled my mind.
Why am I even thinking of him?
I looked at him and I can see tears in his eyes.

I know almost every member of this clas-s, their family and everything concerning them.

I nee-d to find out that thing she’s hiding, that thing that makes her leave america and come to Korea, I must find out.

Doctor Lee told me that I have just three months to stay in this world.
If I want a donor, it would have been found since, but no, I don’t want someone who will donate
his/her kidney to me for the sake of money.
I want someone who will do it because she wants to, because I am me.
The pains is getting stronger day by day.
Doctor Lee’s drugs ain’t doing anything
The boys does not even know about my sickness, they don’t have any idea that I’m sick.
I also don’t want them to find out.
The school day ends and I was coming out of the school with the boys.
The boys entered the limousine, while I went to my car.
Just then my phone ranged, I looked at the caller and it was Jay.
“Hello Jay” I greeted.
“Jun, about our discussion yesterday, you said her name is Taylor Kim? He asked
“Yes, Taylor Kim ” I said.
“Well I know her, hope she haven’t caused any problems in your school” he asked.
“No, tell me about her.
“She is a very stubborn girl here in beacon hills, unfortunately for her she was R@p£d and she quit
school, I heard she had a baby girl “Jay said.
“R@p£d? I asked not sure of my ears.
“Yes, and she have a daughter of about three years old now” Jay said.
“Okay, thanks” I said disconnecting the call.
Taylor have a child?
Is that why she is always quite?
I saw her coming out of the school and jail a cab.
I entered my car and followed the cab.
Within some minutes the cab pu-ll-ed up in front of a school.
She c@m£ down from the cab and went inside the school, shortly she c@m£ out with a very
beautiful girl.
I c@m£ down from my car and immediately Taylor saw me she hide her daughter behind her.
“What are you doing here” she asked nervously.
“We have to talk” I said to her.
Her daughter looked at me and frowned
“What’s your name? She asked
“June, but call me Jun” I replied.
“Daddy! She shouted running towards me, I bent down to her size and she hvgged me ti-ght.
I don’t know why she’s calling me her father but I guess she nee-ds me.
I looked at Taylor and she was crying profusely.
“Daddy, you won’t leave me again right? She asked
“I won’t leave you my princess ” I said and carried her up.
We left for her house, after Ava has fallen asleep she drew me out of the house.
“What do you think you’re doing? She asked angrily.
“What am I doing? I asked innocently.
“St©p giving her false hopes, st©p pretending to be her dad it makes me look pathetic, plea-se I’m
begging you, I don’t Care how you found out but plea-se, don’t do this again ” she said slamming the
door behind her.
I just want to help, I know she’s sad, I know its not easy to raise a child alone.
I just……. Just want to help her.

I tried slee-ping but sleep just refused to come at the moment.
I stood up from my be-d pacing around the room.
The thought of what transpired between me and Jun pla-yback in my memory.
I regret what I did, I shouldn’t have pushed him away, it was all my fault.
He wanna help but I embarras-sed him instead.
That I hate guys doesn’t mean I should embarras-s him like that.
I don’t know how to face him anymore.
I don’t know what next to do.
I went back to my be-d lying down, suddenly Ava woke up.
“Daddy, daddy” she called.
“Ava darling, why are you awake at this hour? I asked
“Where is daddy? She asked
“Erm……. Erm daddy went to buy you caramel” I lied.
“Go back to sleep, daddy won’t be happy to see you awake at this hour ” I said and she oblige.
I also went back to my be-d and sleep.

Why can’t she give me a chance, or am I rushing it?
The few months that I have left, I want to spend it with happiness.

Her daughter likes me, I will be close to her.
I will keep seeing her without Taylor’s cons£nt.
When she called me ‘daddy’ I wish I’m her father.
I wish she’s my daughter.
But Taylor, she’s not helping matters.
She doesn’t want to see me behind her nor her daughter.
This is the first time i’m being rejected.

I got home and met suger sitting on a couch in the sitting room, he saw me and stood up immediately.
“Hyung, where are you coming from? I called your number countless time but you weren’t picking
up ” he said visibly sad.

“Really? And you didn’t pick my call, not even to text me” he said
“Am sorry” I said climbing the stairs to my room.
I know suger is angry with me, I just have to give him some space.
I opened my room door and went in, I changed into my night robe and sleep on the be-d.
I will be meeting with my lawyer tomorrow morning.

Taylor went to school and sit down waiting for Jun to come.
The clas-s begins still Jun was no where around school.
Taylor went to suger and ask him about Jun.
Suger, being an arrogant j£rk he is, snubbe-d her.
Taylor went back to her seat feeling sad.
Miso went and stand in front of the clas-s, looking intently at Taylor.
“Guys, I found out something amusing in this clas-s ” she said
“Which is? The students asked in accord.
“Taylor” she said and the students s£nd there gazes on Taylor.
“What? Taylor asked angrily.
“She have a child” Miso broke the news.
“What! The students exclaimed standing up.
“She hide it from everyone, that’s the reason she c@m£ back from America, she’s nothing but a
cheap pr©st!tût£” Miso said
h0t tears rushed down Taylor’s face.
The BOTS stood up from there seats and held to there pri-vate clas-s.
The students charged on Taylor, throwing all sorts of things on her, calling her names, pouring her
jui-ce and water.
Taylor fell on the ground looking so dirty, she was crying profusely.
“You cheap liar, you hide your child away from the world, are you trying to deny it? Miso asked.
They keep throwing words on her.
“St©p! A voice said.
They all turned and froze at the sp©t.
“What the hell are you guys doing ” Jun yelled.
“Why all this mess? Jun asked
“Oppa, she is a liar, she deceived all of us, she’s a mother ” Miso said
“And so? Jun asked to the surprise of the student.
They all kept quiet.
“The child is mine” he said to the surprise of the students.
Taylor looked at him in shock.
