I sighed.
Is she angry with me?
I just don’t want Daniel to join the study group.
Am not even comfortable with kaima but I care less about that.
But Daniel?
It is obvious he likes Sophie.
I know he only want to join the study group just to get closer to Sophie.
I don’t think I can allow that.

But I can’t tell Sophie he likes her.
I will just try to apologise to her.
I stare at her gate and drove off.

I drove back home and sat on the couch.
I picked up my phone and dial her number.
It rang severely but she didn’t pick it.
I sighed ruffling my hair.
She is still Angry with me.
I got upset when she said yes to Daniel while I said no, I was expecting her to go with my no but she said yes instead.
I know she is just trying to help but her way of helping people is getting too much.
I just don’t want her hurt.
I will still have keep an eye on kaima
I don’t trust her yet.
I dial her number again but she still didn’t pick it up.
“Sophie, plea-se am sorry okay, just talk to me” I s£nt her text.
I waited for reply but didn’t see any.
” Sophie, just pick up your phone, I nee-d you to talk to me” I s£nt her the text.
I waited for her reply she didn’t reply.
I continue calling her but she is not picking.
I sighed and drop my phone.

My phone rang.
I was happy thinking it’s Sophie but it is Jeremy
I hissed dropped the phone and walked up to my room.

I woke up this morning and dressed up for school.
My phone beeped.
It’s a message from Andrew.
I didn’t bother to re-ad it.
I have been ignoring his calls since yesterday.
I know he wants to say sorry but I really don’t want to talk to him.
How can he not talk to me because of Daniel?
Even I won’t talk to him either.
I got out of my room and met my parents eating at the dinning.
” Good morning mum” I greeted mum with a pe-ck on her cheek.
” Good morning soph” she smiled.
I move over to dad.
” Good morning Dad” I greeted him with a pe-ck on his cheeks too.
He smiled.
” Good morning, hope my princess sle-pt well?
” Yes dad” I said sitting down.
” Sophie is something wrong? Mum asked.
I looked at her.
” No mum, why do you ask? I asked.
” Your face says something else” she said.
” Like what mum? I asked.
” Did you sleep last night at all? She asked

” Darling let her be she sle-pt well” dad said.
Mum nodded her head.
They both finished their meal and stood up.
” See you later princess” dad said
” Dad when am I getting the driver? I asked.
” Ohhh…soon princess” he said.
I smiled.
” Thanks Dad”
” Take care Sophie” mum said.
” Alright mum” I said.
I watched them as they walked out.
It’s true I don’t know why I couldn’t sleep last night.
Andrew never left my thoughts
I couldn’t st©p thinking about him.
But is it obvious that I didn’t sleep last night.
I sighed and serve myself my breakfast.
My phone beeped.
It’s a message from Andrew.
He is waiting for me outside.
I finished my meal and cleared the dishes into the kitchen.
I took my bag and walked out of the house.
I got of the gate and saw Andrew standing beside his car.
Our eyes met.
I looked away and got into his car.
He got in and drove off.
” Sophie” he called driving.
” Are you still angry with me? He asked.
I kept quiet.
” For how long will you be angry with me? He asked.
” Am sorry okay? He said.
I looked away
He sighed.
He drove into the school.
I got out of his car and walked away into my clas-s.
I saw Anna.
Our eyes met but I looked away and walked pas-sed her.

My eyes met with Sophie.
She walked pas-sed me walking into the clas-s.
Where is Andrew? I thought.
I saw him coming.
He walked pas-sed me without sparing me a glance.
I looked at him.
He sat down beside Sophie.
Sophie didn’t even smile or look at him like she Normally do.
Is something going on between the both of them?
Are they not speaking to each other?

Finally it’s lunch break.
I stood up.
Kaima walked into our clas-s.
” Hi Sophie” she smiled
” Hey kaima” Sophie f0rç£ a smile.
” Hi Andrew” she said.
He ignored her.
He stared at Sophie for a while and walked out of the clas-s.
I decided to follow him.
Since he is not in a good term with Sophie this is my chance to win him over.
I smiled and ran after him
” Andrew” I called running after him
He didn’t turn to look at who is called him.
” Andrew” I yelled.
He st©pped and turned.
I smiled and stood at his front.
” What do you want? He asked in-serting his hand in his pocket.
” How are you doing? I asked.
He looked at me without saying anything.
” If you don’t… mind…can we have..lunch together? I asked.
He sm-irked at me.
” Andrew will you plea-se?
He stared at me for a while and walked away.
I watched him walk away.
I sighed.
I walked into the cafeteria to get my lunch.
I bu-mped into Sophie and kaima.
” Hey watch it” kaima said.
I looked at her then Sophie.
” For how long will you keep doing this? Sophie asked.
I arched my brow.
” What are you talking about?
” For how will you keep running after what’s is mine?
I looked at her.
It is obvious she is talking about Andrew.
” Stay away from him Anna, no matter how you try, he can never be yours and do you know why? She asked.
” He is mine, only mine” she said.
I looked at her.
” The next time I see you talking to him believe me Anna I won’t spare you” she said and walked away.
I stare at her as she walked away with kaima.
I walked into the clas-s and sat down.

Sophie has refused to say a word to me ever since we got to school.
It hurts me to see her ignore me.
Talking to her makes me feel happy.
Hearing her voice put a smile on my face.
I missed her today.
I missed the way she calls my name.
I missed her smile and laughter.
Today without her makes me feel empty.
For how long will she continue to ignore me?
All because of Daniel?
” Hey man” Henry said looking at me.
” You’ve been quiet, what’s up” Jeremy said.
“Is something wrong? Daniel asked.
” Nothing, am good” I said.
I stood up.
Sophie will have to talk to me whether she likes it or not.
I can’t take it anymore.
I walked to the clas-s and saw her sitting down with her books in her hand.
“Sophie” I called.
She looked at me then looked away.
” Won’t you say anything? I asked.
She stood up trying to walk away.
I drew her back to me.
We stare at each other.
I placed myl-ips on hers.
She stiffened and wi-de-ned her eyes in shock.

She tried to move away but I held her to myself.
She stared at me speechless.
She ran out of the clas-s.
I smiled and followed her ignoring everyone’s stare.
“Sophie” I called running after her.
” Go away Andrew I don’t want to see you” she yelled running.
I smiled.
I caught her and carried her.

I laughed.
” Put me down Andrew” she said.
” Not until you decide to talk to me” I said.

” Sophie”
” Okay put me down i will talk to you” she yelled.
I laughed and put her down.
She frowned at me
I smiled.

She tried running away but I caught her.
She laughed.
” Sophie”
” Okay okay”
I nodded my head.
” Why did you do that Andrew?
” Do what? I arched my brow.
” In the clas-s, why did you,? She asked.
I smiled.
” The kss?
She nodded her head.
” I did that because you refuse to talk to me” I said.
She looked at me.
” But you shouldn’t have done that not in the pres£nce of everyone” she said.
” Why?
” Andrew”
“Don’t tell me, you didn’t enjoy the kss”
She looked away.
” You know if you want I can kss you again, no one is watching” I said taking a step closer to her.
She moved backward.
I started moving closer to her until her back hit the wall.
She shut her eyes.
” Should I? I asked staring at her.
She didn’t say anything.
” I guess your silence means yes” I said about to kss her.
” Andrew” she yelled and opened her eyes.
She pushed me off.
I laughed.
She turned at her back at me with her hands on her cheek.
” Sophie” I called.
I moved to her front and held her cheeks so she could look at me.
” Am sorry Sophie” I said staring at her.
” Am sorry Sophie I didn’t mean not to talk to you, I was just upset..” I said.
She kept quiet staring at me.
” plea-se Sophie, talk to me, don’t ignore me, forgive me and don’t be angry with me” I said.

” I can’t ba-re to see you ignore me, I missed you so much today even though I could see you but it seems like you are far from me because you are not talking to me” I said.
” Sophie, you can punish me okay? But plea-se don’t ever punish me by not talking to me..it makes me go crazy.. plea-se Sophie.”
” Why are you not saying anything? I asked staring at her.
She looked at me as tears welled up in her eyes.
” Sophie” I called and cleaned her eyes with my thumb.
She smiled.
” Andrew, am sorry” she said and hvgged me.
I smiled and hvgged her back.
She broke the hvg and cleaned her face.
” Andrew, it hurts me not to talk to you..I just wanted to pay you back..I wanted you to feel how I felt when you ignored me Andrew..am sorry Andrew” she said staring me.
I smiled.
” It’s okay Sophie and am also sorry I caused it” I said.
She nodded her head.
” Promise me Sophie that no matter what happen, you will never st©p talking to me” I said holding her hand.
She smiled and held my hand.
” I promise you Andrew, I will never ignore you, no matter what happen I will always talk to you” she said.
” Thanks you Sophie” I said.
She smiled and nodded her head.
We stare at each other.
I kssed her forehead.
She hvgged me and ti-ghtly.
I smiled.
” Let’s go” I said.
I held her hand walking back into the clas-s.
We got there the clas-s is empty.
Everyone has left.
I packed her books into her bag.
She smiled.
I carried her bag walking out of the clas-s.
” Sophie” we heard someone call.
We turned to see kaima walking towards us.
” Kaima” Sophie said when she got to us.
” Where were you Sophie? Have been looking for you” she said.
” Sorry about that kaima” she said.
” It’s okay” she smiled.
” Let’s go” Sophie said.
” Okay”
We all got into the car and drove off.
We got home and c@m£ out of the car.
” I will carry it” Sophie said referring to her bag that is with me.
I shook my head negatively and walked in with her bag.
We got inside and sat down.
“Are you hungry? I asked Sophie.
She looked at me and smiled.
She looked at Kaima then nodded her head.
” Be right back” I win-ked at her and walked away.

We sat down waiting for Andrew.
” Sophie, take a look at this” kaima said showing me at her phone.

She smiled nodding her head.

She smiled.
” It’s all over the school” she said.

I sighed.
” Sophie, is everything alright? Kaima asked
I nodded my head.

” Kaima” I called cutting her off.
She laughed.
” Look at your cheeks Sophie, they are red” she said.

I looked at her.
” At times I wished I never live my life the way I lived it..I wished I never join the K-girls..I did lots of wrongs..I sle-pt with guys just for fun and fame..just to be well known in the school..I abused my fellow girls just like I did to you.. I regretted everything I did” she said sadly.
I felt sad for her.
I held her shoulder

” Yeah” she nodded her head.
” Do you like Daniel? I asked.
She was quiet for a while.
I stare at her expecting an answer.
She smiled.
” Yes Sophie, I like Daniel”
” Really?
” Yeah, I don’t know how it started but I have feelings for Daniel..I like him so much” she said smiling.
It’s obvious she really like Daniel.
” But he doesn’t like me back..he hates me so much…why won’t he? Who will want to fall in love with a girl who have nothing to offer but S-x, who has spent her life uselessly” she said sadly
” Don’t say that kaima”

” Daniel might also like you” I said.
” Daniel likes someone else” she said.

” Why? Tell me, I will talk to the girl, who knows Daniel might like you too but only pretending because of the girl, but if you tell me her name, I will talk to her then she will leave Daniel alone and Daniel will be yours” I said.
She stared at me not saying anything.
