“Jennifer!” he called and pu-ll-ed me into his arms. I just hvgged him, I was too weak from crying
“search around for him” he ordered the cops and carried me out bridal style
“did he hurt you?” he asked and I just sniffled without saying anything but praying silently in my heart that they don’t find him.

Two puzzles solved. K has been found and I know who TY is. My greatest problem.
Last night, Jennifer denied seeing Regan at the p@rty or being with him. She said she left the p@rty herself to go see him but he wasn’t at home.
I remembered the kind of panic that arou-sedwhen Jennifer went missing last night. Lugard was so scared, he thought the event of 18 years ago was repeating itself.
Someone said they saw a girl leaving Avenue Montaigne last night with a guy and my instincts told me it was Jennifer and Regan.
I called the cops and we went to the address I received yesterday but I don’t un-derstand why Jennifer is lying to save Regan.
Does she know who he is?
“Detective!”
Tessy again. I sighed and let her in
“we found Drake”
“Bring him in”
She left and returned shortly with Drake who was handcuffed.
“sit” I gestured and he sat on the chair opposite me
“you may excuse us now, thank you” I told Tessy and she left
“welcome back Drake” I sm-irked “so why did you tamper with the record?”
“I didn’t” he snapped
“you know me right? I’ve got lot of things to do that I don’t pl@ygames so tell me why you ran away”
“I didn’t run away, I got a call that mother was sick so I had to hurry home. It was an emergency”
I scoffed “you fled to Jamaica Drake and your mum is a citizen of Egypt, she lives there”
“she was taken to Jamaica when her illness got worse”
“we both know that you’re lying Drake” I stated “whoever paid you to do this isn’t worth dying for is it?”
He was silent
“we’ve worked together for years and you know me more than anyone else so start talking now before it’s too late”
He stared at me thoughtfully then said “it was Keith”
“who?”
“Keith Stein, she paid me to wipe out her voice from the record”
“Do you have the real record?”
“yes”
“You disappointed me Drake”
“Am so sorry”
“where’s the record?”
“In my house, I can go get it”
I re-leased him and let him go so he can get the real record.
Drake left my office and snuck to the lot then placed a call to Keith.

“you really thought I was a fool to let you go? It seems like working with you all these years didn’t teach you anything about me” I said then turned to the officers “lock him up”

I was so scared after Drake called. He is so stupid to open up after the amount I paid him. I ran out of the mansion and got into my car.
I nee-d to leave Canada ASAP.
I ordered the gate keeper to open the gate and he did then I drove out. I sped off into the road without minding how busy it was.
I glanced at my side mirror, the cops were chasing me.
“$h!t!” I crossed a red light in a hurry that I didn’t see a fast approaching truck. Before I could step on the br@ke, I lost control and ran into the truck.

“She’s dead” a police doctor confirmed after examining Keith’s corpse that was lying on the road side. They placed her corpse on a stretcher and carried it into an ambulance.
“she was trying to be smart” The police doctor said
“unlucky for her, she was too fast to meet her death” I said then added “Lugard would be heart broken”

Third puzzle solved.
I sat in my office writing down my cases.
TY has been known but not yet found.
Kaylan has been found and alive.
Nathan’s killer has been found but dead.
Now I had to find Cyrus, Bexter’s killer, the killer of The Knowles and Tyson. I arranged my things properly and headed for Bexter’s house.
2 HOURS LATER
I took down the final note I gathered in his libr@ry. I still haven’t found the book the murderer of The Knowles was mentioned but with what I found, Tyson had a pri-vate teacher named Gwen who taught him after school. She was also Kaylan’s teacher in school.
On the day of the murder, she had gone to check on Tyson so she had seen the murderer. Bexter didn’t mention the murderer but he wrote down the address of the lady. He had tried questioning her but she wasn’t remembering anything.
This is getting more complicated.
I left the libr@ry and drove to the address I copied from Bexter’s journal. I arrived at an old building that looked deserted. I began to wonder if someone really lived there.
I got down from my car and walked to the front door. I knocked softly cause I feared the door would pu-ll if I knocked ha-rd . The door flung open and a woman appeared on the doorway.
“Good afternoon ma’am” I greeted politely
“what are you doing here? Did you miss your way?” she asked immediately then shouted “Faith, come see our visitor”
“Holy Mary!” the other woman g@sped on seeing me then made the sign of the cross “what are you doing here? We’ve never had a richly dressed visitor before except for debtors”
These women are loquacious
“How may we help you?” the first woman finally asked
“Am looking for a woman called Gwen”
They exchanged confused glances then looked at me
“We don’t know her but come in we can’t let a visitor like you leave like that” They both dragged me in and shut the door
“What do we offer you?”
This is gonna be easier than I thought and difficult than I thought.
◌●♡⋆♡TYSON♡⋆♡●⑅◌
I finished mapping out a strategy to meet with Cyrus. I was staying at the penthouse, that was the safest place I could think of.
I had a quic-k shower then got dressed and tucked my gun into my belt. When I was done, I picked my phone and saw a text from someone but the person’s identity was hidden. I opened the message and it re-ad,
If you want to see Jennifer again, come to the Lake and don’t ever think of informing the police.
I slid my phone into my pocket and ran out. In everything I had left, Jennifer was the most important.
In less than ten minutes, I got to the lake and sighted her near the water. She was blindfolded with her hands tied up to a tree. She had her back to me but looking at her, I recognized her.
“Jennifer!” I ran towards her but Cyrus stepped out with a gun and st©pped me
“Not so fast Regan”
“let her go”
“of course I will” he sm-irked and cli-cked his f!ngersthen two men c@m£ out and untied Jennifer. She fell to the ground and they untied the blindfold. I g@sped at who I saw.
“Joanna!”
“you care about Jennifer a lot, so bad” Cyrus laughed wickedly
“This is a set up”
“of course it is and your Joanna was behind it all” he bur-st into laughter
I stated at Joanna in rage “you tricked me” then I pu-ll-ed out my gun to shoot her but Cyrus knocked it out.
“Not so fast TY” he huffed “who ever thought that the great TY would be at my mercy”
I clenched my fists and punched him, s£nding him flying to the ground. I made to punch him again but his men pu-ll-ed me back. Then I looked around and I was surrounded by members of The Spidax, all pointing their guns at me.
“you’re lucky I want to pl@ysome games with you else you would had been lying dead by now”
I struggled to free myself but their grip was ti-ght.
“save your strength for the game” he said then ordered his men “take him out”
“You’ll pay for this Joanna” I snarled as they dragged me out
“It’s so unfortunate that you won’t live to make her pay” Cyrus said and bur-st into laughter
“plea-se don’t kill him” I heard Joanna plead with Cyrus “Do anything but don’t kill him”
“I’ll decide that when I get the girl. Our pretty Kaylan”

I la-id on my be-d crying all day. I couldn’t get up from the be-d and my stomach was grumbling cause I haven’t eaten all day. My phone beeped and I quic-kly went for it. I smiled throu-gh my tears as I opened the message. It was from Regan and it simply stated,
Meet me at the lake, we nee-d to talk.
I jumped down from the be-d happily and dashed out of my room. Lugard wasn’t in so it wasn’t difficult ordering the gate keeper to let me out. I boarded a cab and drove to the Lake. When I got to the Lake, there was no one around. The place was deserted and there was no sign of Regan.
I called him on the phone but he wasn’t answering. Next, a man walked out with a gun from my right and another walked out from my left.
I got scared as I asked “What do you want?”
“we’re here to take you to Regan” the first guy tell and I recognized him as the guy who killed nanny kidnapped me.
“Surprise? do you recognize me?ĺ he bur-st into an outrageous laughter “Romeo and Juliet you’re going to die like them”
He signalled the other guy and be tied my hands and blindfolded me. I didn’t bother struggling cause it was hopeless, I just let them drag me to wherever it was they were taking me.

“I’ve been having dreams lately about the past but the vision isn’t clear” Faith said
“Try remembering how you lost your memory” I said
She held her head like she was in pain “all I remember is a man” she said
“can you recognize him?”
she thought for a while then let out her breath slowly “am sorry but I can’t”
“Now let me help you” I adjusted on my seat “you went to see the kid you taught pri-vately and you bu-mped into man….”
“He was with two men and I heard a gunsh0t so I hid to see what was happening. A woman was lying dead on the floor with a bullet in her head” she completed then thought for a while “I can’t remember anything else”
“You have to try, this is the only way you have to help me” I said persuasively “what happened after then?”
“Another man was kneeling and pleading but he also sh0t him”
“who was the killer?”
Her eyes shone in fear “Lugard”
I was thrown aback “Think again” I said in disbelief
“Lugard sh0t The Knowles, I heard Charles pleading with him to spare his son and take the company”
“Are you sure or you’re missing memories?”
“am sure”
“Then what happened after then?”
“When the woman was sh0t, I heard Tyson scream then Lugard ordered his men to find the boy. I got scared and tried running but I pushed a vase down and it made a loud noise. Lugard got alert then sh0t Charles and c@m£ after me.
I took to my heels, I was alre-ady at the gateway when a bullet was sh0t in the back of my head. I rolled outside and that is all I remember.
Next, I woke up and found Naomi beside me. I couldn’t remember anything again” Faith narrated
“I was pas-sing by the hat when I saw her lying in the pool of her own blood then I brou-ght her here when I was sure there was a chance of survival but when she woke up, she couldn’t remember anything again” Naomi narrated
“do you have any evidence that Lugard is the killer?” I asked
“He sl@pped the table in Charles’ sitting room you can get his f!nger prints” Faith replied
“it’s not a solid evidence” I dismissed her suggestion
“I’ll be back” Naomi got up and went inside then returned shortly with a pistol wra-pped in a handkerchief.
“when I found her, I saw this in the flower bush beside where she la-id and I took it hoping she would be able to locate whoever sh0t her. This must be the murder weapon”
I took it carefully to make sure I don’t t©uçh the gun with my ba-re hands then I opened the gun and studied the bullets
“This is a 45 Acp hollow point bullet it’s worth $ 3,000 US and it takes someone as wealthy as Lugard to afford it” I wra-pped up the gun and threw it into my bag
“Thanks a lot” I added then got up and left

I drove to the FBI headquarters to submit my findings then I got the judge to sign an arrest warrant for Lugard.
Fourth puzzle solved.
Now who killed Bexter and who is Tyson?
There is every possibility that Lugard killed Bexter cause he didn’t want Bexter to reveal his secret.
This is so difficult.
I have known Lugard for so many years and took him as my father, arresting him is not going to be easy adding to the fact that he lost Keith today. he’s going to die of heart break but the law has to be obeyed.
He is a killer.
I couldn’t make up my mind to arrest Lugard so I called Sergeant hvgo to take up the arrest while I waited in my office. Joanna knocked on the door and barged in immediately without waiting for my response.
“Joanna”
“I nee-d your help detective” she sobbe-d
“what’s wrong?”
she wiped her tears and began calmly “I was the one who s£nt you a message yesterday about Regan being TY”
“is that true?”
“yes”
“how did you find out?”
“we live together, his real name is Tyson Knowles”
“Tyson? Regan is Tyson?”
“yes, that’s how he c@m£ up with the name TY, from Tyson”
“Then why did he change his name?”
“cause Lugard was after his life and Tyson also wanted to avenge his parents death. If Lugard knew he was Tyson, he wouldn’t be able to seek his revenge. But I betrayed Tyson cause I loved him but he loved Jennifer”
“what did you do?”
“I gave you information about him and also helped The Spidax to set him up”
“who are The Spidax?”
“a criminal gang led by Cyrus”
“Cyrus!” I g@sped in shock “Tyson and Cyrus were pla-ymates when they were kids”
“I don’t know but all I know is that Cyrus kills un-der the mask of TY so everyone thinks Tyson is the real criminal”
“How did you know this?”
“Cyrus told me, he has Tyson and Jennifer and he’s going to kill them”
“what?”
“you have to save them we don’t have time”

Tyson was tied with his two hands up to the roof and he was covered in his own blood. He was hung in the air as Cyrus tortured him with a wh!p.
“Do you remember the games we used to pl@ywhen we were kids?” Cyrus asked and wh!pped Regan then he gro-an ed out in pain “you’d always win me” he wh!pped Regan “I want you to win me now”
He turned to his men “untie him”
They untied Tyson and he dropped to his knees– on all fours as a matter of fact.
“Fight me Tyson” Cyrus said and punched Regan
Regan got up but he wasn’t seeing clearly cause his blood covered his eyes, ma-king his vision blur.
“can’t you see me?” Cyrus mocked and punched him on his stomach. Regan gro-an ed and spat out blood.
“Regan!” Jennifer cried out as Storm pu-ll-ed her by her hair into the room
“Jennifer!” Regan staggered back to his feet and made to punch Cyrus but missed it
“perfect timing” Cyrus sm-irked then kicked Regan on his face s£nding him falling down
“no” Jennifer screamed in tears
“shut up” Storm snarled and sl@pped Jennifer “get me a wh!p” she ordered to no one in p@rticular and one of the men gave her a wh!p.
She twisted the end around her palm and flogged Jennifer who let out a loud cry. Regan got up but the sweat and blood in his eyes didn’t let him see.
“Jennifer!” he called groping about blindly
“think about yourself” Cyrus snorted and punched him
“Regan! No!” Jennifer screamed and Storm wh!pped her. Cyrus took a chain and tied it around Regan’s n£¢k.
“Get me a bomb” he ordered and tattoo handed him a time bomb “it’s gonna blast in 15 minutes” Cyrus laughed that sardonic laugh of his as he tied the bomb to Regan’s n£¢k. Regan was alre-ady weak and couldn’t move.
“Don’t! plea-se!” Jennifer pleaded and Storm hit her with a club. Jennifer fell to the wall and hit her head on the wall. Storm walked up to her and hit her with the club continuously to make sure she does.
“They won’t make it” Cyrus said staring at Jennifer’s almost lifeless b©dy. Her breathing was getting slow and she was lying in the pool of her own blood.
“we’ve got thirteen minutes to leave here, let’s go” Storm said and they all ran out.
