Jimi watched her remove her wig, infact he has been watching her all day, from the church to reception, they stood so close to each other at the church and still he couldn’t take his eyes off her
It’s been six months and the feelings didn’t change, it didn’t die down , it didn’t fade away it just blossomed
Time slowed down the moment she walked into that church and he was standing right in front of her
Being Phili-ps best man allowed them to run into each other several times but even when she was up and about his eyes trailed along with her,
The wedding ceremony ended and they moved to the hotel. In the lounge the groomsmen and bridesmaids gathered to have a miniature after after party
Phili-p stood up to pop the icy bottle of champagne
“This is to my beautiful wife” Marty was blus-hing looking gorgeous in her silver lacy dinner dress
“Awwwn aww” the ladies in the room echoed
“Thank you for agreeing to be my wife, thank you walking the aisle with me and thank you for starting this wonderful journey”
They all cheered and gave him a round of applause as Phili-p went round to pour everyone a glas-s in their flute
Diana took that as an opportunity to walk down the lobby and pull out her wig taking a de-ep breath and just letting it all sink in but jimi was right behind her.
She couldn’t even get a five feet away from the guy that brings all the emotions running
As jimi moved closer he noticed she was sobbing quietly,
“Diana… Are you OK”
She glared at him and wipe her face quickly
“Am fine, what are you doing here”
“I followed you ” he muttered blankly
“You followed me, why.. Why can’t you just leave me alone. I just nee-d a moment to breathe”

“I dont know, I haven’t seen you in six months, it almost like you are dragging me around with you”

“And I just want to tell you that Abby really misses you”

They fell silent
Things with diana are never so easy
At this point Jimi doesn’t even know what to do or say to fall back into her good graces

his voice cracked

Unable to control herself anymore Diana pulled him closer and smashed his li-ps with hers, ki-ssing him pas-sionately, jimi stood dumb stuck for a while before he actually realizes he is getting the ki-ss of his life he wrapped his hands around her and ki-ssed her back with the same pas-sionate desi-re .
Like time stopped and it was snowing and it was just the two of them in space, floating and freezing yet exploring a burning pas-sion at the same time
It took forever before Diana pulled back and held her li-ps
Jimi pa-nts loudly and then cleared his throat
“Is that what I think it is” he asked blus-hing like a child
“What do you think it is ” she giggles

It was pointless denying and fighting it . He came and pene-trated his way to her fragile heart now he dwells there permanently

Epilogue
Second chances are rare atimes they are impossible. Most relationships don’t get a second chance, some do and either screw it up or it just doesn’t work
Diana didn’t believe it was going to work until she was standing in front of him and crying her eyes out
She wasn’t crying because her two best friends are married and moving on to have an amazing life together
Not because she has spent the last six months without her daughter or just because she couldn’t help the emotions running throu-gh
Of course she was crying because jimi was standing there and all the emotions were rushing in and even after six months she still loves him
But here she was about a year later
Diana stood in front of the mirror and an-alyzed herself, over the last couple of months, her life has completely reformed. She went from being just the regular Miss Diana to Mrs Benson and now looking down at the hu-ge lump in her stomach she could boost from this overwhelming happiness
This morning, her husband had surprised her by bringing the whole family together to celebr@te her birthday, her mom was here, and so were her in laws and even her best friend and her husband
Life was being so good to her, never had she thought she could be grateful for how the world treats her and how things always turn out for her but today, now she was the happiest she could be, and her family was the best gift ever
A gentle knock on the door and a giggling looking Martha walked in
“Hey hello there birthday girl”
“Marty, thank God you are here, am completely stuck I don’t know what to wear every dress that I try on feels inappropriate”

“I dont know, I just turn out looking like bag of tomatoes and even worst I feel like a house. I don’t think there’s anything in here that works”
“That’s what being pregnant is, just wear one of this…. ”
She picked a white dress from the bed
” everything you wear suits you… Whether you are pregnant or not”

I admit it is an incredible feeling when I watched Dorcas go throu-ghthis I didn’t know the extend of this period the feeling, the anxiety, the pain, the bond and now I do I mean I know how clueless I was when Betty was asking me all these questions about being pregnant. After a while of chatting and laughing, Abby was playing with her grandfather while Mrs Benson and Diana’s mom were having a conversation it seem unreal that they are actually here,
