I can’t believe what the doctor said is true.
How did it happened?
Who would dare hurt my girlfriend?
How did the chlorine and ammonia got into the water??
Many thoughts ran throu-gh my mind as I couldn’t concentrate on what others are saying.
“I still don’t believe that it’s actually chlorine and ammonia that’s in the water, … I mean… we all swam in it and nothing happened to us, so how then did the pool water got mixed with ammonia and chlorine?” Jessica said
“Yes and I think the doctor is right, someone might want to hurt her” Jessamyn said
“It means the person is among us, how can others swim in it and nothing happened to them?” Archie said and we a stared at each other.
One of the doctors c@mÂŁ out and we rushed to him.
“Sir how is it? Hope nothing bad happen?” I asked
“I can’t say for now, we have s£nt for some other doctors and surgeons because the chemicals have bleached her skin badly, we can’t handle it alone” the doctor said
“plea-se doctor tell me will she be alright?” I asked
“I don’t know but be prayerful” with that, the doctor left.
“Who could do that?” Chris asked confused
“I think there are some CCTV c@m£ra around that pool side, I guess we can find some useful footage, the person will appear in that c@m£ra” Jessica suggested
“I agree with what Jess said, let’s go quic-kly” Mia said and we rushed to the school computer lab.

? AT THE COMPUTER LAB ?
“Alvin plea-se help us check the pool side footage” Archie said to the lab prefect.
“Alright hold on” Alvin said and started operating the system.
The pool side footage appeared and it revealed when we were pla-ying.
“Forward it a little” Jessica said and Alvin did.
We told him to st©p when Jenna was swimming.
We were still watching when Mr Charles called our attention and we diverted our attention to him.
“What are you guys doing there?” Mr Charles asked
“We c@m£ to see some important things” Jessica replied
“Alright, be quic-k and return back to clas-s” he said
“But I thought you were also among the teachers that went to England” Ria said
“Yeah, we got a call that one of the students is in the hospital and she’s badly injured, so we had no choice than to fly back here immediately” Mr Charles said and we all stared at ourselves one by one.
“Oh! Okay sir” Jessamyn said and Mr Charles left.
“plea-se backward it a bit” I said to Alvin and he did.
We were still watching the footage when the lights went off.
“What’s wrong? Why did the lights went off?” I asked Alvin
“I don’t know, maybe some of the cables have burnt, let me check” Alvin said and went to check the wires.
“There’s nothing wrong with this cable, someone cut it off” Alvin said
“Cut it off?? Why?” Jessica asked
“Why will the person cut it off?”
“Maybe the person is just tying to pl@ya prank on us” Babita said
“But why would the person decides to pl@ypranks with us now? Alvin plea-se is there any way you can repair the cable because we really nee-d to see the footage urgently” Ria said
“No, unless we get a new one” Alvin replied
“Oh goodness! plea-se can you make the footage into a disc?” Jessica asked
“No, we still nee-d electricity to do that also, we can’t do anything now unless we get another cable” Alvin said
“Alright, we’ll go and get a new cable. Come on guys let’s go” I said to Chris and Archie, then we rushed out.

We went back to the hospital when Archie, Chris and Wisdom went to get another cable.
I guess the doctors and surgeons has arrived and I pray they were able to revive Monalisa.
“Almighty plea-se don’t let anything happen to Monalisa” I prayed silently.

Alvin was busy operating his phone when he heard a knock on the door.
“Who’s there? Come in” he said but no one entered.
The knock persisted then Alvin went to open it and someone hitted his head with a steel.
“Ouch! My head” he cried as he fell down.
The person entered and re-moved the memory card with the aid of a flashlight.

We c@mÂŁ back and knocked on the door but no one answered.
“I guess they’re all at the hospital” I said to Chris and Wisdom.
“Yes let’s go” Wisdom said and we turned to leave but we heard a sound.
“Where’s that coming from?” Chris asked as we turned back
“I think it’s from the lab, I guess someone is there” Wisdom said and we f0rç£d the door open.
“Flash the light Chris” I said and he turned on his phone flashlight, then we saw Alvin on the floor, gro-an ing in pain as blood ooze out of his head.
“Alvin what happened? You’re bleeding” I said as we bent down beside him.
“Someone… someone hitted my head… and went to … to … over to the system… and…”
“And what?” Chris asked curiously
“And … she did something in that system… but I couldn’t figure out… what… what she did there” Alvin explained in pain.
“Oh God! I hope the person haven’t tampered with the system” Wisdom said
“Alvin you’ll be alright, okay don’t worry, just tell us where to connect the cable, then we’ll sort everything out ourselves” I said and he explained how we’ll connect the cable.
We did as he explained and the lights c@mÂŁ on.
“Now Chris, plea-se take him to the hospital while we work on this system, because if we decided to take him there together, someone might come and re-move the memory card, or do something bad to the system” I said and he helped Alvin up and took him to the school hospital.
“I pray nothing happened to the system, because I’m having the feeling that the person that hitted Alvin has done something to the system” Wisdom said
“Yeah, I hope so too” I said and started operating the system.
The system keep on repeating the same word

“Oh no! I was right about the person” Wisdom said sadly
“It’s obvious the person knows about the chemicals” I said
“Yes, you’re right, but we don’t have any evidence or proof again, to know the actual person that did it” Wisdom said
“Don’t worry, Almighty will lead us to that person”I said and we headed to the hospital.

“Has the doctor said anything about Monalisa?” I asked as we got to the hospital
“Yes, they said they were able to perform a surgery on her and it was successful but she is still unconscious, they’re not certain she’ll be alive or not” Jessica said
“In a nutshell, she’s in coma?” Archie asked
“Yes” Babita replied
“So how is the outcome of the footage? Have you find out who did the treacherous habit?” Jenna asked
“No” I replied
“Why no?” Jessamyn asked
“Someone barged into the lab in our abs£nce and hitted Alvin on the head, then took the memory card away” Archie explained sadly.
“What!? You mean the memory card is missing??” Mia shouted
“Yes”
“Oh my goodness! Definitely it’s the same person that mixed the pool water with chemicals that c@m£ to take the memory card” Ria said
“Yes, I agree with you” Jessamyn said.
Just then Ashley c@mÂŁ to join us.
“Where have you been?” Jessica asked
“I went to the lavatory” Ashley replied
“Alright”
“Anyway how is Alvin? Hope he has been treated?” Ashley asked and we all stared at each other in surprise.
How did she know that Alvin was attacked?

How did Ashley knew what happened to Alvin?
Is it possible that she’s behind everything that’s happening to Lisa?
“Who told you Alvin is here in the hospital?” Archie asked
“I heard from some junior students that the lab prefect was injured and he was rushed here by Chris, that’s how I got to know” Ashley said
Oh! Now I un-derstand she wasn’t the one behind it.
“Okay, he has been treated” Wisdom said
One of the doctors c@mÂŁ to meet us.
“She is awake and has been moved from the ICU to ward 52 fourth floor, you can go and see her now but plea-se don’t shout” the doctor said
“Alright sir. Thank you doctor” I said and we headed to the elevator.
Minutes later, we found ourselves in front of ward 52. I knocked on the door and we entered.
Her skin has been treated and the scars has reduced, she’s getting better.
“How are you doing dear?” I asked as I sat beside her. She responded with a nod and smile.
“Hope you’re not feeling too much pain my love?” Wisdom asked as he also sat beside her on the other side.
She shook her head in answer to Wisdom’s question.
“If I get hold of that fop that did such a terrible thing, I won’t let him/her go scot free” Chris said
“I hope you’re feeling better now my dear” Jessica said and Monalisa smiled.

I was coming back from the lavatory when a junior boy bu-mped into me, he apologized and sped off.
I smiled as I continued walking but then I saw something black on the floor. I turned back and picked the object then I realized it’s a memory card.
“I guess this dropped from the junior boy” I said to myself, as I was busy inspecting the memory card.
I made an attempt to throw it away but then I remembered the stolen memory card in the computer lab.
“What if it’s the same memory card?” I asked myself.
“I’ll have to check” I said as I headed to the computer lab.
I inser-ted the memory card into the system and I sat down to watch.
Just as the system was about to displ@ythe things in the memory, the lights went off.
*I guess the person that attacked Alvin is here again* I thought.
I brou-ght out my phone and quic-kly flash the light, I saw no one, then I quic-kly re-moved the memory card.
“I’ll go and use Archie’s l@pt©p to watch the content” I said as I went out and closed the door behind.

“Where have you been since?” Archie asked as soon as I got into the ward.
“I have something to tell you Archie” I said and dragged him to a corner
“What’s it dear?”
“I saw a memory card on the floor so I guess it’s the same memory card that was stolen from the computer lab, so I decided to go and watch the content in the computer lab but the person that attacked Alvin also c@m£” I explained to Archie.
“Do you mean the person that stole the memory card c@m£ back to the lab when you were there?” Archie asked
“Yes”
“Hope you’re not hurt?” Archie asked
“No”
“Then what happened?”
“The person put off the lights but I quic-kly turned on my phone’s flashlight and I re-moved the memory card”
“Where is it?” Archie asked
“It’s here with me” I said as I showed him the memory card.
“That’s good, let me go get my l@pt©p” Archie said and went back to meet others.
“I’ll be back guys” he said and hurried out.
“Where is he going?” Wisdom asked
“He’s going to get something” I replied and joined the conversation.
Few minutes later, Archie c@m£ back with his l@pt©p and he inser-ted the memory card into it.
The screen displa-yed a music video and I looked at Archie in total disappointment.
“Do you want to pl@ymusic for us??” Jessica asked
“Yes, that’s why I went to bring my l@pt©p” Archie said as he held my hand and took me to a corner to talk.
“It’s obvious that the person interchanged the memory card with that.” Archie said
“Yes, but I thought I was fast enough to re-move it, not knowing she has alre-ady replaced it. That person must be so clever” I said
“What now?” he asked
“I have an idea” I said
“What’s it? Let me hear”
“We’ll inform them that we wanted to pl@ya game that requires searching, then we’ll search their bodies” I said
“How would that bring back the memory card?” Archie asked
“Calm down, you know that the person is among us” I paused
“Yes, so what?”
“If truly the person is among us then she will leave before we search her b©dy for one reason or the other” I said
“Oh yeah! that’s a good idea, but we can’t just conclude that the person stole the memory card, when actually we told them it’s a game” Archie said
“Don’t worry, we’ll see the memory card” I said and we went back to meet others.
“Guys let’s pl@ya game” I said
“Yeah. Which type of game? Hope it’s not truth or dare?” Ria asked and we all laughed.
“Calm down Ria, Anderson is not here, so st©p being scared” Jessica said and we laughed again.
“Why should I be scared of him? Is he some kind of sorcerer or wizard??” Ria said and we laughed the more.
“It’s okay guys, let’s pl@ythe game” Archie said and they all bec@m£ serious.
“The game requires searching” I said
“Searching???” they all questioned together
“Yes searching, it’s more like truth or dare, if I dare someone to search another person, the person I dared would go with whatever he/she found on the other person, unless you decide to give it back after the game” Archie explained
“Really??” They all questioned, seems like they’re happy to pl@ythe game.
“Yeah, so shall we start?” I asked
“Yes, come on, bring a bottle” Babita said and Jenna pas-sed her the bottle.
Babita spinned it and it faced Chris.
“Chris I dared you to search Wisdom” Babita said and Chris searched him and took everything he saw on Wisdom.
“Now Chris your turn to spin” I said
“Alright” Chris said and spinned the bottle, it faced me.
“I dare you to search Jenna” Chris said and I stood up to search her but Jenna stood up hurriedly.
“I nee-d to go to the washroom urgently” Jenna said
“Why urgently?” Mia asked
I alre-ady knew what’s happening, likewise Archie. We stared at each other and smiled.
“Because I’m seriously pressed” Jenna replied and hurried out, but unknowing to her, she dropped a small object by mistake.
“What’s that?” Wisdom asked as he wanted to go and pick it up but I st©pped him.
“Don’t worry, I’ll go get it. It dropped from Jenna” I said as I went to pick it.
“Is that a memory card??” Archie asked and I nodded
“I guess it’s hers, and I’m very sure it contains nice songs, let’s see the contents” I said as I handed it to Archie who inser-ted it into his l@pt©p.
The screen displa-yed how e pla-yed at the pool side.
“Is this not the memory card that was stolen at the computer lab??” Ria and Babita asked together
“I think it is, Archie can you plea-se forward it a little bit, we might find who tried to kill Monalisa” Mia said and Archie did as she said.
“St©p st©p! Rewind it a bit, I think I saw someone who was mixing the pool water with some liquids” Jessica shouted and Archie rewinded it.
“Who is this?” Chris asked and Archie zoomed it for a clear and proper view.
“Jenna???” We all exclaimed in disbelief.
