🍓 Tiana’s pov 🌀
Driving straight into the parking lot of my house after the gate was opened, mum was the first person I set my eyes on ….
What’s she doing at the parking lot?
It’s like she had been here waiting for me..
I rolled my eyes inwardly…
Can’t they just give me my own freedom fully, it’s just 7:24pm and am 23 for Christ sake.
“Tiana, am glad u’re back, your dad have been asking and furious about your where about” she said
” Why mum?, What did I do this time, I just hope am safe” I said with sarcasm
” You’re saved Tiana, but it seems something big is about to happen which your Dad is not telling me, it’s about our company, Edward couldn’t make it here but it seems this is about you” she said
” Mum are you sure am not in trouble, cause even if I was f0rç£d to take over that company, I’ve been managing it properly, I know that” I pouted and she smiled in a less as-suring manner
” You’re okay Tiana, but all I want you to do now, is to go in, freshen up, put on something decent and pretty. We’re are having dinner with the Trevor’s family, a very important one, and you must be there said your dad” Mum said
Jeez, dad is just too annoying, he’s always ordering me around, but the only reason I would consider attending that meeting is only because mum mentioned the name ‘Trevor’, which means his son would be included cause he’s also a business person, I don’t know him neither have I seen his picture before, but people say he’s cute and h0t, I actually love seeing cute people, both male and female, they are my weakness.
And at least I would know why people talk about the Trevor’s family that much…..
“It’s okay mum, as you wish” I said smiling
“Thanks sweetie, I and the maid will go set up the table now, you can join us when you’re done” she said
” Okay mum” I replied walking into the house, mum was alre-ady dressed up, she only had an apron over her dress.
And the house is looking unusually fancy than normal…
Jeez!! I wonder how important this so called meeting is gonna be.

I angrily walked down the stairs, I couldn’t waste my time on scanning my whole wardrobe, so I just picked any dress I saw.
I was on my average length b©dy hvg off shoulder pink down, with my pink sandals…
No time for heels, am only dressing this way because mum emphasized on ‘decent’
“Mum am done, am I okay” I said showing her the dress, she scanned me a little before replying
“You look so sweet baby, I love it ” she said and I smiled, at least she appreciates it
“Okay T, come help me with the drinks” she said and I walked to her helping her with her request
Not long after, dad walked in with his ever looking serious face
“You may go” my mum said to the maid in a low voice, she bowed and left to the kitchen immediately
“Okay honey, I think we’re all set” mum said to my Dad who only nodded…
‘i don’t know why he’s always like that to my mum, he should just one day show us love like mum does’
“Look Tiana, we’re having a visitor today and I and Mr Trevor made a deal which is gonna be about you, so you have to behave” he said rudely and I rolled my eyes at him, though he wasn’t looking if not I would be dead.
‘Gosh!! I wonder what deal he’s so serious about’
We were still trying to put everything together when we heard the door bell, I alre-ady knew it was our visitors, cause I heard the gate opening…. Mandy went to get the door immediately…

5 minutes later, the mighty Mr Trevor dad has been talking about finally walked in with two men behind him which seems to be his b©dy guard, due to their b©dy frame and appearance
Hmm, I don’t see his son anywhere, and he’s definitely not one of those guys behind Mr Trevor considering the way people describe-d him…..
Maybe he’s not even coming…
Jeez!!, I just want to know how he looks, that’s why am actually in this boring dinner.
As soon as Mr Trevor reached the table, my dad and mum both stood up to welcome him, I only sat down stubbornly until mum gestured me to stand which I did reluctantly
After all the formalities, we finally sat down
‘At last’
After sometime of talking and laughing, Mr Trevor turned to me
“Is this your daughter?” Mr Trevor asked
‘jeez, what a question’
” Yes she’s Tiana, Tiana, Mr Trevor” my dad introduced and I faked a smile at them
” She’s beautiful, my son would be happy to see her, he’s on his way” he said sm-irking.. I wonder what the hell they are up to.
But am glad to hear that the popular Trevor’s son is still on his way, I really want to see how he looks like, cause of Mr Trevor is as good looking as this, though weird, I wonder ho his son would be..
“Okay let’s have dinner now, your son will join us soon”my mum said standing up to serve the food, my dad gave me a look to as-sist her, gosh!!, Like I wasn’t going to do so
We were all settled eating, while dad and Mr Trevor kept on talking about some certain stuff on developing both their business and they were talking of some kinda arrangement I couldn’t really decode
“My son is here” Mr Trevor said as soon as we heard the doorbell ring…
Mr Trevor son walked in, in all his glory, judging from his hair downward he looked super h0t and handsome, though I haven’t really seen his face cause he was putting on dark glas-ses, but he’s b©dy kind of look like that annoying guy who bashed my car a while ago, and again he isn’t looking at my direction, Jeez!! I just wanna see his face.
But am sure he’s gonna be rude, common who put on a dark shaded glas-s for a business dinner???
‘hmm Tiana, there’s nothing you won’t see’
He finally sat down.. I just couldn’t st©p myself from admiring his cute set of pinkl-ips, jeez what a creature, no wonder people just won’t st©p talking about him…. He’s really worth the anxiety, he’s now my crush….
Hmmmm…..but he kinda look familiar, though I couldn’t really fathom..
‘Can’t he just take the glas-ses off alre-ady?’
Like he was re-ading my mind, he finally took off the Glas-ses and accidentally our eyes were the first to meet..
I immediately choke on the food I was eating with my heart skipping a beat, I quic-kly took a glas-s of water to ease it away
“Are you okay sweetie?” Mum asked
“Yes mum, thanks” I replied nervously
He still wasn’t taking away his stare, I can’t believe that the same rude guy I sl@pped some hours ago is the same guy sitting opposite me in my family’s house….
He just couldn’t st©p staring at me, it was a look that held, anger, annoyance and revenge, though he was holding it in with a sm-irk, which made him more cuter…
Wow!!, So I sl@pped the mighty Tristan Trevor, the so called Trevor’s son….well he’s actually cuter than they describe-d.
Infact, am kinda happy I sl@pped him, at least I brou-ght down his ego a little, all his threat are just empty….
“Do you both know each other” Mr Trevor asked, it was like he noticed both our reactions
” No, not at all Dad” he said still gazing at me
” Tristan Trevor, nice meeting you” he said stretching his hands to me which I reluctantly took, his hand was warm and inviting, but it kinda irritated, maybe it’s because I alre-ady disliked him from the bashing incident.
“And you are?” He asked still giving that annoying sm-irk
‘jeez!!, This guy is fv¢king annoying’
“Tiana Davidson” I replied ra-pidly without stretching for any stupid hand shake
“Wow!!, Nice name for a beautiful lady” he said and I intentionally rolled my eyes to piss him up, but he wasn’t
‘jeez!, I hate this guy alre-ady’
We all settled down to have desert, Dad and Mr Trevor kept talking about business, the involved Mum once in a while and she pla-yed along
I wonder why Dad said this meeting is about me, am fv¢king tired alre-ady. The h0ttie I wanted to meet badly is here alre-ady, but we’ve alre-ady met in a bad way, so am not interested in this dinner again…
Like Dad was re-ading my mind, he finally diverted his attention to us. …….
“Tiana, Tristan, this meeting is strictly about you both, and it’s on an agreement between I and Mr Trevor, and try to note, it’s for the good and benefit of you both” Dad said and Mr Trevor nodded in agreement
” Dad, what’s up” Tristan asked his Dad…
Jeez, he’s really mannerless
“This is for you son, don’t take it too ha-rd ” his Dad said, and that only increase and inhibited my anxiety and confusion on what exactly is going on now.
I glanced at mum, she only looked as confused as me
‘someb©dy tell me what’s happening’
“Look Tiana, you’ve been a daughter to me from your mother’s wo-mb, I might have been strict to you, but just know I only want the best for you, no matter what happens” Dad said and that only made me more bewildered
“I know Dad” I replied feeling more anxious
“I and Mr Trevor, had been close for ages, an we would want you both to grow on that legacy and that’s why we’ve decided that you both would be getting married as a merger of our main company” my Dad said and it was like a bomb was just re-leased in front of me
“What!!!!!!?” I and Tristan both exclaimed at the same time, it’s like he also had no idea about it
“Dad you must be joking right?” I said standing up folding both my hands together
“No, you guys make a perfect match and you still have time to get along before your wedding planning, but what you two don’t know is that, it’s alre-ady signed” my dad said angering the bit-ch in me, but I was still speechless
“What the hell is this Dad?, You never told me this is the fv¢king deal you were all about, merger or no merger, am not getting married to this bit-ch”Tristan said angrily walking away
” Ooh,well well well, am glad I and Mr Trevor son are on the same page, am not marrying that j£rk, never, have my words Dad” I said angrily, I don’t even know what gave me the boldness cause normally I can’t even talk to him…
“How dare you disrespect me Tiana?, Look my decision is made, I am your father” he said angrily
” You not my father Dad, the only told you pl@yin my life, is the man that gave birth to me, cause all throu-gh my life, you’ve never paid the duty of a father, all you did was for your own selfish interest, an example now, I’ve been holding this in for long but let me let it known to you Dad, I hate you, yes Dad, I hate you pas-sionately” I said angrily in tears walking briskly to my room
” Tiana get back here” that was the only word I heard before I slammed the door loudly at them locking it…
Am never gonna marry that guy, never!!!!

⭕ Tristan’s pov ⭕
“Son we nee-d to talk” my dad said immediately he stepped inside
” About what dad” I asked sarcastically
” Listen son, I know I did bad by not telling you about this deal before you heard it from Mr Davidson. And that’s why am here to explain things to you better” he said pausing
” And? ” I asked
” You know what Tristan, this marriage I and Mr Davidson planned between you and his daughter is not gonna last” He said
” What’re you driving at Dad? ” I asked giving him all my attention
” All I wat you to do, is to get closer to Tiana and gain her trust. After you must have done that, you will then convince her to sign the company to you.. and then the victory will be ours, and Mr Davidson will be back to 1, cause that’s the company that makes them popular and that rich, the rest are just standby. After this is done, you can file her a divorce letter, you would even leave your normal again, it wouldn’t even take a year for this to be done” my Dad said smiling to himself
” Dad, why the hell are you so crazy about the downfall of the Davidson’s family? What did they even do to you?, They’re that rich, only because they worked to get there? ” I said angrily
” Look son, even if I tell you, you would never un-derstand” he said taking a bottle of wine pouring into the wine cu-p.
“Dad, why don’t you just tell me alre-ady, am your son?” I said angrily hitting the counter
” I promise you Tristan, one day, you’ll see it yourself” he replied
” Okay fine, what the hell am I to do now, get married to that bit-ch?” I said in anger
” Look dad, I won’t marry that girl, never. We can’t even stand together peacefully and I never see my self entering into a relationsh!pwith any lady, talk more of marriage, after that useless Alicia, I know girls are not trustworthy, I’ve made up my mind on how am gonna love my life” I said
” You really nee-d to get over that Alicia of a girl, you just have to bear it. It won’t take long for you to win her heart and after that dump her, isn’t that easy you?, you got the looks son, girls fall at your looks alone”my Dad said
” Dad, not In the case of that bit-ch, we met earlier today where she sl@pped me for bashing her car which she parked wrongly” I told my Dad who only ended up bur-sting into laughter
“You see son, that even makes it easier for you, those kind of girls are easy to get, just think of how big our company is gonna be” my Dad said sm-irking.
” Just go for now Dad” I said disturbe-d
“Alright son, just think about it” my dad replied smiling evilly before leaving

I was sitting on the floor of the room, leaning my back on the be-d crying my eyes out. It’s been 2 hours since I left that stupid dinner and nob©dy even cared about me, nob©dy cares about my feelings
‘God why?, Why did you create me into this family?, You should have just created me into a better family where we live happily together and I enjoy the love of a parent even if we’re not gonna be rich, I would be happy if that was my case, my joy, happiness, freedom and laughter would be un-estimated’
I kept on sobbing with my head on my knees, ‘Nob©dy even cares’………………
Not up to a minute, I heard a knock on the door but I made you my mind not to answer
The person kept on with the knocking……….. But I still wasn’t re-ady to answer
“Tiana it’s me your mum, plea-se open the door” mum pleaded from outside.
Do she just remembered she had a daughter in here…Pitts!!
“No mum, go away, I don’t want to talk to anyone” I said trying to control my sob
” Baby plea-se am sorry I delayed okay?, Just open the door” she pleaded sadly
” No mum, I said I don’t want to talk to anyone” I repeated
“Tiana, st©p this, plea-se. You will hurt yourself and you’re hurting me also” she sadly and I didn’t know what to reply her again
” Baby plea-se am begging you, am sorry am just coming now, I just had to finish attending the meeting downstairs because of your Dad, am sorry okay” she pleaded and I reluctantly stood up to unlock the door going back to where I was before, mum opened the door, walked in closing the door behind her, sitting on the be-d beside me…..
There was a moment of silence between us before mum spoke
“Look Tiana, I un-derstand how you feel” Mum said sadly
” No Mum, you don’t un-derstand. Were you f0rç£d to marry Dad?, Did your parents sign you out on a stupid business?” I asked with tears flowing down my eyes
“Baby I……….
” See mum, I’ve been f0rç£d to do almost everything in my life, f0rç£d not to pl@ywith my neighboring friends as a kid, f0rç£d to go to school with a driver and come back with a driver when all I wanted was to move with my friends, f0rç£d not to relate with other kids because they were poor, f0rç£d to study business administration in college and also f0rç£d to Inherit that useless stock business, yet mum, I never complained, I never did, or did i?” I asked in pains
” No baby you didn’t but ………..
” No Mum, Dad might had f0rç£d me to do almost everything he wanted for his own selfish reasons, but you know what mum?” I asked in sarcasm, she only stared at me bewildered.
” Am never gonna marry that guy, Tristan,I can’t marry a j£rk, mum, this decision is one of the most important decision in a lady’s life, which she is expected to make her self, why don’t they just let me make it myself, I want to spend my life with a guy I would love and who would love me more Mum, not this” I said in tears
” I know sweetie, I also want my daughter in a happy marriage, where she would be loved, happy and always have her say. Unlike mine,your dad and I were in love, we got married and still shared our bond, until suddenly, he got only interested in money, I have no say In whatever decision he makes again, but this Tiana, he can’t make this decision for you, I promise T” she said in pains, I moved my head to her l@ps sobbing, I couldn’t comfort her cause I was also in pains, she smoothened my hair and patted my back softly.
We were still in that Position when Dad barged in. I quic-kly stood up in fear, due to the way he barged in, it really startled me.
“Tiana,what was the meaning of that?, You disrespected me and my guest” my Dad yelled angrily.
” Dad, his son also did the same, why is it only me” I said folding my hands together
” Look Tiana, you’re stepping on my toes and you wouldn’t like the outcome”he yelled angrily.
” Israel you nee-d to respect her feelings, she’s our daughter”my mum yelled unconsciously
” Ohh I see, so you’re the one turning her mind negativity to disrespect me right?” He asked but got no reply.
” You know what Tiana? An your father, and as far you are related to me legally and by blood, you’re are marrying Tristan whether you like it or not, whatever you say is non of my business okay?”he said, I couldn’t reply, tears only flowed out of my eyes.
“And for now, you’re grounded, you can’t step your feet out of this house, and for a matter of fact, am gonna hire a guard to stand in front of your room, to also follow you around the house to ensure that you don’t defile my orders. Until you learn to respect, this is where you would remain. Your marriage procedures starts tomorrow. Just try to act stupid, then am afraid you wouldn’t like my actions, Tiana Davidson” my dad said going out slamming the door behind him.
No word c@m£ out of my mouth, all I felt was h0t tears flowing down my eyes like a rushing tap, suddenly, I felt mum hvgging me.
“It okay T, am here for you okay” she said patting my back and the tears only flowed out my eyes the more

I took another sh0t of vodka, my head was spinning gradually, this was my 6th cu-p, I was in the mini bar in my house.
I can’t violate my rules, am never gonna violate my rules, girls are heartless and unreliable, they will break you, crush you and leave you like nothing ever happened between the two of you.
Tell me why I should ever get married especially to that girl who dared to to raise her filthy hands on me..
I took another sip from the glas-s. ….. That action of her’s made me hate her really much, and despite the pending p@rt of that deal marriage, I will still make sure she pays dearly for it.
“Tristan what the hell are you doing” dad asked but I ignored
” Am talking to you”he retorted
“As you can see Dad, Am drinking my pains out” I said angrily
” And what pains do you even have” he asked
“Look dad, I’ve thought about it, and I’ve come to a conclusion that I won’t marry that girl for anything, for a matter of fact, I don’t want anything doing with a woman, talk more of that bit-ch of a lady” I said angrily
” bit-ch or no bit-ch Tristan , you’re marrying that girl” he yelled
” What if I said I won’t Dad” I said in sarcasm
” Then you will face the consequences” he replied
” What consequence dad?, This oart of my life is my decision to make and not yours okay?” I said calmly
” Then watch me disown you,and take everything that you have boosting your ego” he said angrily
” What!, Dad are you really serious, why don’t you just let them be and focus on our own company?” I yelled angrily
” Defile and feel my wrath son” he said angrily Stumping out
I angrily took my frustrations on the wall punching it really ha-rd .
