after lunch Kim received a call that had to take her out of the house.
CLARISSA
where are you going all of a sudden?
KIMBERLY
Moses is in town, I want to go see him
Clarissa lowered her voice so mercel wo.n’t hear from the living foom
CLARISSA
You sound like I know the moses….who is Moses again my dear?
KIMBERLY
His just someone I know, I met him at Jude’s wedding
CLARISSA
wow….so are you both Fu*king mate or what?
KIMBERLY
for some reason I don’t want to sleep with Moses
CLARISSA
(she smiled)
that’s a good thing girl…but you don’t look happy about it
KIMBERLY
(She smiled)
don’t think I’m a change person okay, I just like my men cute and Moses is far from it….i just like him because his very funny….that’s the only thing ugly people like him have to offer.
CLARISSA
(She laughed)

(she asked looking at the mirror)

you look really pretty and it makes me wonder if your Moses won’t nak-ed you with his eyes

I rest my case babe….i have to go join Marcel.
she said and started to walk away, she stopped at the door and turn to look at Kim for the last time

kim couldn’t help but smile, she smiled back and her cousin and left.

Marcel remembered the agreement she had with Clarissa before she travelled.

CLARISSA
Okay, but like seriously I wish we can just stay at home and play game you know.

he said and got up too, he pulled her up, she frowned then smiled before she went into her room to go change into one of her usuals.
Marcel already knwe she won’t dress different from the way she has always dressed, he didn’t want to over dress so he wore a black Jean trouser and a while shirt…..he spray his body and came out.
he was already beside his car that he remembered he had forgotten his phone and atm card, he had to go back to get it
when he came back clarissa was already waiting for him beside the car.
MARCEL
so, shall we?
CLARISSA
sure
somehow clarissa felt kind of sad, she expected a compliment from Marcel just the way he did to her sister but non came from Marcel…..she was silent all throu-ghthe drive to where Marcel was taking them too.
MARCEL

CLARISSA

MARCEL

you still haven’t told me where you taking us to
MARCEL
will are almost there, you will see.
Not long Marcel parked in front of a big shopping mall, he came down and went to open the car door for clarissa which made her very surprised.
CLARISSA
You didn’t have to do that, you know
MARCEL
you are my date, I should treat you better.
Clarissa couldn’t help but blus-h at his word.
Marcel gave her his hand to grab and took it, they walked into the shoping mall hand in hand.
marcel took Clarissa to the women fashion section and ask her to pick anything she wanted but Clarissa decline
CLARISSA
I don’t nee-d new clothes Marcel, you don’t nee-d to spend your money
MARCEL
(He smiled)
you do not nee-d new clothes, you nee-d a new sense of fashion and I’m here to make that happen.
CLARISSA
but I love the way I dress.
MARCEL
you are naturally beautiful Rissa, but some people just don’t like eating too much ripped fruit
CLARISSA

CLARISSA

I promise to take a month of your life and turn it the way I feel is perfect, after a month if you don’t like your new self then you can go back to being this Clarissa

MARCEL

she started to pick clothes while Marcel sat down and waited for her to finish shopping, he was busy with his phone chatting with his brother that be didn’t notice what clarissa was picking for herself.
few minutes later she came and joined Marcel on the couch where he sat with some few clothes
MARCEL
are you done?
CLARISSA
yes, let’s go
MARCEL
(He kept his phone)
let’s see what you have picked.
Clarissa handed all the clothes to him, the first dress marcel held up to look at was a total turn off, he just shook his head and got up, he walked to one of the sales girls who looked very beautiful and well dressed.
MARCEL
excuse me miss
JANE
Hi sir, how may I be of help?
MARCEL
I love you gown, it looks perfect on you
JANE
(She blus-hed)

MARCEL
My friend over there, can you help me make her beautiful just like you?
JANE
that would be my plea-sure…what’s her sense of dressing like?
MARCEL
she doesn’t have any, that’s why I’m trusting you can help me

she joked and Marcel smiled de-eply.
immediately Jane got closer to Clarissa she immediately un-derstood why Marcel said she had no fashion sense.

clarissa looked at Marcel and he gave her the signal to go with her.
Clarissa followed her.
she took a very look at Clarissa’s shape and started picking out clothes for her.
after picking plenty clothes, she took clarissa to the heels section and started to pick shoes that will Match with her dresses….clarrisa was no longer comfortabl as she felt the things Jane was picking was becoming too much and it would cost a lot.

Clarissa couldn’t count the bags of clothes they had to bring out from the shopping mall, she held four bags in her two hands, Marcel held bags too, likewise Jane….she kept shouting
CLARISSA
Marcel I think this is rather too much don’t you think?
(she said immediately they were alone in the car)
MARCEL
(He looked at her)
what do you mean this is too much? I haven’t even done anything for you yet and you already frowning that pretty face of yours
CLARISSA
(She smiled and frowned)
I’m serious Marcel, this things are too much, beside you….
MARCEL
enough Rissa, you worry too much and you make it look like I empty my account just to get you this stuffs
CLARISSA
okay, I have heard…so we going home?
MARCEL
Not yet, we are still going somewhere
CLARISSA
Again? it’s almost night fall and I still nee-d to prepare dinner.
MARCEL
common girl, loosen up, we won’t take long just allow me to take you out today.
CLARISSA
okay, let’s go
Marcel started the car and drove them to a salon where they fixed her hair, fixed her nails, in fact they turned her into a total different queen
she couldn’t believe her eyes when she turn to look at the mirror.
MARCEL
how do you feel?
He asked standing behind her and looking at her face throu-ghthe mirror
CLARISSA
I don’t know, I look so different like I don’t even know this person.
MARCEL
Don’t you feel confident?
CLARISSA
I don’t know, I feel weird.
MARCEL

clarissa nods and he gave her his hand and she took it, they walked to the cashier and paid the money before they left.
almost an hour later they arrive home, Marcel was about coming out to open the gate when a taxi dropped Kimberly at the gate, she told him not to border, that she would open it for them.
Marcel thanked her and went back into the car, she used her own spare key to open the small side of the gate, entered and opened the gate wilder for them to drive in.
Marcel parked in front of Clarissa’s flat so she can pick all the things he got for her.
Clarissa came out from the car, and kim was coming from where she was trying to lock the gate.
immediately Kimberly saw clarissa, she gapes in shocked and screamed
KIMBERLY
blood of Jesus…Marcel what did you so to my sister?
CLARISSA
why are you screaming? I feel worse as it is already.
KIMBERLY
(Moved closer)
what is she talking about? you look very pretty….marcel please come here.
she said opening her arms wild for a hu-g and Marcel hu-gged her.
KIMBERLY
you know what? I support whatever you guys are doing, you are the first man my sister has ever listen to..even her late mum tried everything possible to make her look this pretty but she refused saying she like her self like this.
CLARISSA
Enough of this Kim, you are embarras-sing me
KIMBERLY
Don’t mind her joor, which one is embarras-sment ? you should be thanking Marcel for making you look this beautiful..damn sis I never knew you had this kind of beauty ooh .
MARCEL

he said and opened the car trunk, he took some bags of clothes, and clarissa took some bags of clothes too….kim was just surprise looking at them, because she thought it was only make up they did and made hair, she didn’t know more surprise was waiting for her.
she went to the trunk and helped carried the remaining bag and rushed inside.
MARCEL
already, I have to go now, I will see you girls later….
CLARISSA
why? I’m about to cook dinner?
MARCEL
I have a client i want to talk with by 7pm and it’s almost time and I nee-d to talk to my bro to know if he got home safe.
CLARISSA

The girls laughed, clarissa walked him to the door and closed it after him, immediately she came back Kim grabbed her hands and started to jump around with her in the living room.

(She pulls away and sat down)

I’m just happy, no one has ever been able to try making you change your way of life.
I’m just surprise what Marcel is using

hmm, maybe non of them have never went out of their way to get me anything….”Clarissa why are you dressing like this”? “babe can’t you wear something better”? but non of them ever bought a dress for me and I refuse to wear it….i just feel maybe I wasn’t that bad after all.
KIMBERLY
That’s because all the wanted was your body, they all want to sleep with you and go away…but with the way Marcel is going, his going to be your Mr Right.
CLARISSA
I dont love him okay? his a nice guy, but I have no feelings for him.
KIMBERLY

before she finished her statement she took a bag and start to unpack it, the first gown she carried she screamed.
CLARISSA
babe, I don’t un-derstand you ooh, what did Moses or what is his name, what did he give you to be making you scream like a mad lady?
KIMBERLY
babe this her designers clothes, I know this br@nd and trust me it cost a fortune
CLARISSA
I know right, I just feel the money he wasted getting me all this clothes when I already have alot clothes should have been used for something better.
